Mozilla rectifie le tir après la polémique sur ses nouvelles conditions d’utilisation

La mise à jour des conditions d'utilisation de Firefox a fait grand bruit. Mozilla, qui édite le navigateur, a dû revoir sa copie après un tollé provoqué par une formulation jugée un peu trop large : certains ont en effet cru que l'entreprise se donnait un droit d'accès à toutes les données saisies ou téléchargées par les utilisateurs. Face aux critiques, Mozilla a réagi rapidement en clarifiant les choses.

Mozilla Corporation’s president, Mark Surman, today announced plans to tackle what he says are ‘major headwinds’ facing the company’s ability to grow, make money, and remain relevant. “Mozilla’s impact and survival depend on us simultaneously strengthening Firefox AND finding new sources of revenue AND manifesting our mission in fresh ways,” says Surman.
