The victim and his son were riding in the bike lane at East 97th Street and 1st Avenue around 6 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a black sedan made a left turn, nearly striking the son, cops said.
The man – whose age was not immediately known – was discovered face-down in Newtown Creek just off Malt Drive in Long Island City around 8:40 a.m., police said.
