The LG Evo C5 4K OLED TV Just Dropped to a New Historically Low Price for Black Friday

The best OLED TV deals we are going to see for Black Friday might have just gone live. Electronics Express via eBay is offering incredible prices on the 2025 LG Evo C5 4K OLED Smart TVs. The 77" model is marked down to $1,597.59 after 20% off code "CYBERWEEK20". The 65" model is down to $1,117.56 with same code. 42", 48", and 55" sizes are on sale as well. Electronics Express is an authorized LG reseller with over 200,00 reviews on eBay and a 99.4% positive feedback rating. LG is currently the most selling OLED TVs in the global market and for very good reason.

Note that Electronic Express often expires its eBay listings quickly, possibly due to low inventory, so these deals might end well before Black Friday, which lands on November 28.

For Samsung loyalists, there is an extremely similar deal on the Samsung S90F OLED TV.

Black Friday LG Evo C5 4K OLED TV Deals

Apply 20% off coupon code "CYBERWEEK20"

LG's OLED TVs have been our favorite TVs for console gaming for three years running thanks to their outstanding image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rate. The 2025 C5 uses LG's proprietary Evo panel, which is significantly brighter and offers a wider color gamut than traditional W-OLED TVs. Aside from higher production costs, there's no downside to this technology; the C5 boasts the near-infinite black levels, near-infinite contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times you'd expect from any OLED TV This is easily the best TV for streaming 4K HDR content in its intended glory.

The LG C5 has the necessary gaming features as well, including a native 120Hz panel that can be pushed to as high as 144Hz, HDMI 2.1 inputs for running PS5 games in 4K at up to 120fps, variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM). The C5 is also lightweight for its size because the rear cabinet housing is made of a composite fiber; for example, this 65" model weighs only 36 pounds without the stand, making it much easier to wall mount.

Here's an alternative deal on the 77" model from LG Store

It's $1,999.99 with a free $200 soundbar and bonus $200 gift card

One of the best Black Friday deals on a current generation LG OLED TV bundle is back in stock again. Right now you can order a massive 77" LG Evo C5 4K OLED Smart TV for $1,999.99 with free delivery, which also includes your choice of free stand setup or free wall mounting. LG is also offering a free LG S40T 2.1ch soundbar when you add it to the same order. But that's not all, read on below for one more huge perk.

For Black Friday, LG is incentivizing this purchase even further. Purchase this TV (77" LG Evo C5) between before December 7 and you can receive an extra $200 virtual gift card (prepaid Mastercard) simply for writing a review. You'll receive this gift card by December 27. Details here.

The Samsung S90F 4K OLED TV With QLED Technology Drops to the Lowest Price Ever for Black Friday

eBay has just kicked off a combined Black Friday and Cyber Monday coupon code that takes 20% off hundreds of tech products, including the latest 2025 Samsung S90F 4K OLED Smart TVs. Electronics Express via eBay has discounted most sizes to the lowest prices of the year. For example, the 77" model is marked down to $1,598.39 after 20% off code "CYBERWEEK20". Likewise, the 65" model is down to $1,118.39 with the same code. Electronics Express is an authorized Samsung reseller with over 200,00 reviews on eBay and a 99.4% positive feedback rating.

Note that Electronic Express often expires its eBay listings quickly, possibly due to low inventory, so these deals might end well before Black Friday, which lands on November 28.

For LG loyalists, there is an extremely similar deal on the LG Evo C5 OLED TV.

Black Friday Samsung S90F 4K QD-OLED TV Deals

Apply 20% off coupon code "CYBERWEEK20"

The S90F is the current generation (2025) model in Samsung's S90 OLED TV lineup. If you were to compare Samsung's TVs with LG's TVs, the Samsung S90F would be comparable to the LG Evo C5. It's equipped with a quantum dot OLED panel, which is only found in Samsung's higher end TVs. QD OLED TVs are brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs while retaining all of the other benefits of OLED like the near instaneous response time, true black levels, and near-infinite contrast ratio. The Samsung S90F also has the features you'd want in a gaming TV, including a native 120Hz panel, HDMI 1.4 ports, variable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode.

Is this TV good for Nintendo Switch 2?

Despite being a current generation console, the Nintendo Switch 2 has lax TV requirements compared to the PS5 or Xbox Series X. When the Switch is connected to its dock and a television, it is only capable of outputting a 4K resolution signal at up to 60 frames per second. It can go up to 120fps if the resolution drops to 1080p, but the data rate required for both these options is pretty much the same, and you would much rather play any game in 4K. That said, the Switch 2 will still benefit greatly from the OLED panel's stellar image quality (much like how the Switch OLED was a substantial visual upgrade from the original Switch).

This Is the Only Way to Get a Nintendo Switch 2 Discount for Black Friday This Year

The official Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals have gone live and, not surprisingly, there are no advertised discounts on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. That means there are really only two ways you'll be able to get one at considerably lower than retail price: buying a used one off a marketplace or getting an import model. AliExpress is offering a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World console bundle for just $435.87 (normally $500) after you apply a $100 off coupon code "AEUS100" during checkout. It ships free locally from the United States (which means no tariffs and no obnoxiously long wait times).

The listing is for a Hong Kong import. Fortunately, all international Switch 2 consoles are region unlocked, so they be used in the US without any modification. You'll also be able to select English as your default language. This specific model will come with a Hong Kong style plug, but a US adapter is included. Imported consoles do not get a US-based Nintendo warranty. Fortunately, Aliexpress offers a generous 90-day free return window.

Nintendo Switch 2 (Import) with Mario Kart World for $436

The Switch 2 console was released on June 5. It is backwards compatible with nearly all Switch 2 games as well as the original Joy-Cons and Switch Pro controller, although the new Switch 2 controllers offer more functionality. In his Nintendo Switch 2 review, Tom Marks sums up the Switch 2 as "a vital but unexciting upgrade to a console I already love."

Four major Switch 2 video games have been released: Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and now Kirby Air Riders. Logan Plant reviewed Mario Kart World and wrote that "Mario Kart World may not make the most convincing case that going open-world was the boost the series needed, but excellent multiplayer racing, incredible polish, and the thrilling new Knockout Tour mode still more than live up to its legacy." Mario Kart World currently sells for $79.

Not only did we rate Donkey Kong a 10/10, it's the only game we've given a Masterpiece rating so far this year. In his Donkey Kong Bananza review, Logan Plant writes that "The leader of the bunch is finally back to kick some tail in Donkey Kong Bananza, a brilliant successor to Super Mario Odyssey and a smashing return for a classic Nintendo character."

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the latest first party release and although it's also available for the original Switch, it's clearly Switch 2 optimized. In her Pokemon Legends: Z-A review, Rebekah Valentine wrote that "Pokemon Legends: Z-A finally feels like Game Freak hitting its stride in Pokemon’s 3D era, with a fun setting to explore, a well-written story, and a total battle system overhaul that works surprisingly well."

Kirby Air Riders Is Out Now

The Wonderful LEGO Ideas Insect Collection Set Is an Incredible Value at Under 4 Cents Per Brick

Black Friday is the best time to score some really great deals on themed LEGOs, and each year there's a new set that hadn't been discounted before. This year it's the LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection 21342, which is down to just $40 after a 50% discount. At a mere 3.6 cents per brick, this is one of the best values I've seen for a set. It's also refreshingly unique, fun to build, and looks great to boot, so long as you don't have a bug phobia.

50% Off the LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection 21342

The LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection 21342 is a collection of three separate builds comprised of 1,111 brick pieces in total. Each build is modeled after a real insect: the blue morpho butterfly, Hercules beetle, and Chinese praying mantis. They're all roughly the same size, with the mantis measuring 7 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. These are fairly large, lifelike models and you'll definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth.

Each bug build is poseable and includes additional elements like leaves and branches, flowers, mushrooms, and even a buildable honeybee. LEGO collectors will also be delighted to know that there are some unique printed pieces, like the 7-spotted ladybug. There are no stickers in this set, and there's plenty of variety and color, making it a perfect example of what a LEGO "Ideas" set should be. It's also one of the best $40 sets I've seen.

The Baseus 20,800mAh 145W Power Bank for Any Handheld Gaming PC Drops to $40 for Black Friday

If you're looking for a power bank that can handle the demands of even the latest and most power hungry gaming handhelds at a great price, check out this new Black Friday deal. Amazon is offering the Baseus 20,800mAh Power Bank with 145W of Power Delivery for just $39.99 shipped after applying coupon code "Q4PSW5C3". You don't need to be a Prime member. Baseus makes good power banks and I recommend them as a less expensive alternative to Anker.

Baseus 20,800mAh 145W Power Bank for $39.99

The Baseus power bank has a 20,800mAh or 77Whr battery capacity. Factoring in a roughly 80% power efficiency rating (which is about standard for power banks), this power bank will charge a Steam Deck (40Whr) or Asus ROG Ally (40Whr) from empty to completely full 1.5 times, an Xbox Ally X (80Whr) 0.8 times, a Legion Go S (55Whr) about 1.1 times, and a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 (20Whr) about 3 times. You can see why a smaller 10,000mAh power bank might be fine for the Switch but is insufficient for the more power hungry handheld gaming PCs.

The power bank is equipped with four ports: two USB Type-A ports that can deliver 33W each and two USB Type-C ports that can deliver 100W each. The power bank supports a total maximum output of 145W. So, for example, if you were using both USB-C ports, one port could deliver 100W and the other power would then be capped at 45W.

The 100W of maximum power output is more than enough for every handheld gaming PC released so far. The Steam Deck supports up to 45W of charging, the Asus ROG Ally up to 65W, the Xbox Ally X and Legion Go 2 up to 100W, and the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 between 20W and 30W. You should be able to charge all of these gaming handhelds at their fastest rate while you're playing games at the same time, even on Turbo settings.

Alienware Has the Lowest Price on an RTX 5080 Gaming PC for Black Friday, Starting at Just $1,815

Believe it or not, Alienware actually has the lowest price on an RTX 5080 equipped gaming PC for Black Friday, and it's not even close. You can pick up a complete system with Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU starting at just $1,815. Alternatively, upgraded models with a more powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and more memory and storage capacity are available with deep discounts. Alienware normally commands a higher price point, but this Black Friday deal totally flips the script.

Alienware Aurora RTX 5080 Gaming PC From $1,815

This base configuration is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB SSD. You can upgrade to 32GB of RAM for an extra $100. The processor is cooled by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooling solution and the entire system is powered by a robust 1,000W 80+ Platinum rated power supply.

Alternatively, for an extra $485, you can upgrade to a more powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and double the memory. For an extra $685 you can the CPU upgrade and quadruple the memory.

The GeForce RTX 5080 GPU will run any game in 4K

Performance-wise, the RTX 5080 is no slouch. It's one of the fastest cards on the market, bested only by the $2,000 RTX 5090 and the discontinued $1,600 RTX 4090. This is a phenomenal card for playing the latest, most demanding games in 4K resolution at high settings and ray tracing enabled. The RTX 5080 supports DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, which means you can push even more frames out of games that support the technology with minimal visual compromise. Recent games that support it include Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Borderlands 4, Stellar Blade, and Battlefield 6. Check out our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review for our hands-on impressions.

Save Over 50% Off a Certified Refurbished Sonos Arc Soundbar with Dolby Atmos, Same Warranty as New

Sonos doesn't discount its popular speakers very often, so it's a wise investment to jump on a good sale when you see one. The Sonos Arc was discontinued last year to make way for its successor, the Arc Ultra. It's no longer available new at Sonos direct, however for Black Friday you can pick up a certified refurbished model for just $399. That's $500 less than its original retail price of $900. It's a heck of a better value than picking up the Arc Ultra, currently "on sale" for $879.

Sonos refurbished products go through rigorous testing; they come with all accessories, manuals, and documentation and are reshipped in "pristine" packaging. Most importantly, Sonos includes the same 1-year warranty as buying new. I like when retailers offer the same warranty as new because that means they have faith in the reliability of their refurbs.

Sonos Arc Soundbar (Refurbished)

The Arc is still an outstanding soundbar even after the release of the Arc Ultra. The 45" soundbar houses eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers each paired with Class-D amplifiers. It's capable of room filling audio by itself, but you'd still benefit from a separate subwoofer to round out the low end. Unlike the Sonos Beam, which only has virtual height channels, the Arc has two physical height channels for true Dolby Atmos support. The Arc also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatiblity, including voice control.

This deal is part of a greater Sonos Black Friday Sale that starts now. Check out more deals on soundbars, speakers, and headphones, including the lowest prices of the year on the Sub 4 and Sub Mini to complement your soundbar.

The Powerful HP OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop Drops to $1,399.99 for Black Friday

HP is offering an outstanding Black Friday deal on its flagship gaming laptop. Right now you can score the powerful OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for just $1,399.99 with free shipping after applying 30% off coupon "OMENMAX30". The RTX 5070 Ti is a powerful mobile GPU that should easily handle the newest and most demanding games.

OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for $1,399.99

New for 2025, the OMEN MAX 16 is an upgrade to the OMEN 16 both in terms of build quality and cooling potential. Unlike the OMEN 16, the OMEN MAX 16 is almost entirely constructed of aluminum, including both the top lid and chassis. The exception is the palm rest, which is still plastic so that it doesn't get too toasty for your hands. The OMEN MAX 16 also features a new OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro design that combines vapor chamber cooling, redesigned fan configuration, and an improved thermal interface material to maximize heat transfer. Not only does this keep the OMEN MAX 16 cooler during gaming marathons, it also allows for the current-generation graphics cards to perform optimally without throttling.

This particular configuration features a 16" 1920x1200 display, Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Both the memory and storage can be user-upgraded. I would recommend upgrading to the 16" 2560x1600 OLED display for an additional $190.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255X is a top performing CPU

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX is a 20-core processor with a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz. In terms of gaming performance, upgrading to an Ultra 9 would be a waste of money. Games are typically GPU-bound, so getting the best GPU within your budget should be the highest priority. Most games also can't utilize more than 4-8 cores, so the extra cores on the Core Ultra 9 are unnecessary. The Ultra 9 275HX does have a slightly higher clock speed (5.4GHz vs 5.2GHz) but that's just a 4% difference in performance, completely unnoticeable in actual gameplay.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU can handle the most demanding games

The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU is comparable in performance to the previous generation's RTX 4080 and pulls ahead of it in games that support DLSS 4. It should be able to handle even the newest and most demanding games like Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, and Borderlands 4 on the native 1920x1200 resolution. It can also run the same games at 2560x1600 if you opt for the OLED upgrade, although you may have to minimally tweak some graphics settings to maintain 60fps.

The HP OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop Drops to Just $1,999 for Black Friday

HP just unloaded an excellent deal on one of the most powerful gaming laptops currently available. The OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5080 gaming laptop starts at just $1,999.99 with free shipping after a $1,300 off instant discount. This is one of few RTX 5080 equipped laptops I've seen so far priced under $2,000. The RTX 5080 is an absolute monster of a mobile GPU that surpasses the previous generation's top performer, the RTX 4090.

OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop for $1,999.99

New for 2025, the OMEN MAX 16 is an upgrade to the OMEN 16 both in terms of build quality and cooling potential. Unlike the OMEN 16, the OMEN MAX 16 is almost entirely constructed of aluminum, including both the top lid and chassis. The Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX is a top performing CPU

The Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor has 24 cores and a max turbo frequency of 5.4GHz. This is the second most powerful Intel mobile CPU currently available (the Ultra 9 285HX has a slightly higher clock speed) and goes toe to toe with AMD's flagship Ryzen 9 9955HX processor. This is an excellent CPU to pair with a powerful GPU like the 5080.

The GeForce RTX 5080 mobile GPU is better than the RTX 4090 mobile

The OMEN MAX 16 can accommodate an RTX 5080 mobile GPU without throttling it. The RTX 5080 is roughly 15%-20% more powerful than the RTX 4080 GPU that it replaces. In fact, it's slightly more powerful than the RTX 4090, which was the previous generation's flagship card. It will run even the newest demanding games like Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, and Borderlands 4 at frame rates of 60fps or higher on the 1600p display. You could even enable ray tracing and still get playable frames, something that was unheard of in laptops just a few years ago.

From 11/16 - 11/26 IGN users can use custom discount code OMENMAX30 at checkout to receive a 30% discount price on OMEN MAX 16 laptops. See below for coupon terms and conditions definitions.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5080 Gaming PC Deals

New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Is Dell's Flagship Gaming PC

Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis is a super-sized upgrade to the 2024 R16 system with aesthetic and cooling redesigns and updated components. The I/O panel is positioned at the top of the case instead of the front, and the tempered glass window now spans the entire side panel instead of just a smaller cutout. As a result, the side panel vents are gone, and instead air intakes are located at the bottom as well as the front of the case. Alienware is now pushing a positive airflow design (more intake than exhaust airflow), which means a less dusty interior. The internal components have been refreshed with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and bigger power supply to accommodate the new generation of CPUs and GPUs.

The RTX 5090 is the most powerful graphics card ever

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 has emerged as the most powerful consumer GPU on the market. Although Nvidia has prioritized software updates, AI features, and DLSS 4 technology to improve gameplay performance, the 5090 still boasts an impressive 25%-30% uplift over the RTX 4090 in terms of pure, hardware-based raster performance. The 5090 also has a whopping 32GB of VRAM (33% more than the 4090), making it the ideal candidate for a hybrid rig looking to do both gaming and AI work on the same machine. Check out our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 FE review.

Sonos Drops Prices on Pre-Matched Home Theater and Audiophile Speaker Bundles for Black Friday

Sonos kicked off its Black Friday Sale earlier last week with discounts of 15%-30% off its entire lineup of sound bars and speakers. However, the best deals are actually on Sonos' all-in-one "sets", which are pre-selected speakers that are matched together to round out a complete home theater or entertainment system. Some bundles have an additional discount that stacks on top of Black Friday prices. If you're looking to build out a complete Sonos system for your home, then this is the best way to get a matched setup at the lowest possible price for Black Friday. Some of these bundles may be available at your local big box retailer, but some are exclusive to Sonos.com.

Note that there are other bundles on Sonos, however only the ones below have an extra discount.

Bundle 1: 2 Room Set with Era 100

The total Black Friday price would be $1,936 (normally $2,436). There is an extra $99 off set discount that drops the price even further to $1,837 with free delivery.

Bundle 4: Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc Ultra

This set includes:

  • Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar ($879, normally $999)
  • Sub 4 subwoofer ($719, normally $899)
  • 2 x Era 300 speakers ($758 for both, normally $958)

The total Black Friday price would be $2,356 (normally $2,956). There is an extra $99 off set discount that drops the price even further to $2,257 with free delivery.

Sonos Arc Ultra

The Arc Ultra is Sonos' best soundbar speaker, replacing last year's Arc model. It is a massive 46" soundbar that houses 14 total speakers, including five tweeters (plus two upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos supported height channels), six midwoofers, and a four-motor, dual-membrane Sound Motion woofer. The Arc Ultra uses AI enhancement technology to isolate and boost the clarity of dialogue and voices. It also has a built-in microphone so that it can be controlled using voice commands from the Sonos app or your favorite smart assistant. Check out our own Sonos Arc Ultra review.

Sonos Era 100

The Sonos Era 100 is a compact powered speaker that pumps out great sound for its small footprint. Unlike the Sonos Move, this is not a portable speaker with a built-in battery, so you'll need to leave it plugged in. Sound quality is equivalent to a Sonos Move, which isn't surprising considering they have similar internal components: two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amps. It has a built-in microphone for smart assistant functionality.

Sonos Era 300

The Era 300 is a much bigger, better sounding version of the Era 100. It's nearly double the size and weight. The Era 300 is also shaped differently, but there's a reason for that. The hourglass figure is designed to optimally arrange the six speakers so that they fire sound in all directions, enhancing Dolby Atmos and spatial audio effects. The Era 300 consist of four tweeters and two woofers paired with Class-D digital amplifiers and custom waveguides to help project sound to all corners of your room. It also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatibility.

Sonos Sub 4

If you want to add ground-shaking bass to your Sonos setup, there's still nothing better than a separate standalone subwoofer. The Sub 4 boasts plenty of power in the form of dual inward-facing 5"x8" woofers and a ported design that allows for a louder and deeper low-end. It simply can't be emulated by a standard bookshelf speaker or soundbar alone.

The Alienware Black Friday Sale Kicks Off Now with Some Amazing Deals on Gaming PCs and Laptops

The Dell Black Friday Sale kicks off early this year with some outstanding deals on Alienware gaming PCs, gaming laptops, and gaming monitors. This is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your gaming PC so that you can play recently released games like Battlefield 6 or Ghost of Yotei in glorious 4k with buttery smooth framerates. Several of these deals are the lowest prices I've seen all year long, including some huge discounts on "Like New" models from Dell Outlet.

Alienware Black Friday Gaming PC Deals

Alienware Black Friday Gaming Laptop Deals

Alienware Outlet Black Friday Deals

You can quickly browse through all of the listed products on sale above. See below for our favorite picks.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC

Believe it or not, Alienware actually has the lowest price on an RTX 5080 equipped gaming PC for Black Friday, and it's not even close. You can pick up a complete system with Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU starting at just $1,815. Alternatively, upgraded models with a more powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and more memory and storage capacity are available with deep discounts. Alienware normally commands a higher price point, but this Black Friday deal totally flips the script.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 & 5080 Gaming PC

If you're seeking the absolute best of the best in PC gaming performance, look no further. Alienware has just dropped the price of its flagship prebuilt gaming PC equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for just $4,299.99 with free shipping. This is the lowest price I've seen for an Alienware 5090 gaming PC and it has been upgraded with an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, double the storage capacity, and 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling. The price is actually competitive compared to other boutique PC builders. The Alienware Area-51 is also on sale for the lowest price I've seen this year.

Alienware Area-51 Gaming PC at Dell Outlet

Dell Outlet has just kicked off its Black Friday Sale with some incredible pricing on Clearance, Like New (Refurbished) and Scratch & Dent Alienware Area-51 gaming PCs. They're equipped with your cohice of GeForce RTX RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 graphics cards. You're saving up to $1,600 compared to buying an identical system brand new. All PCs purchased through Dell Outlet include the same warranty as buying new. Dell's certified refurbished systems are submitted to a rigorous refurbishing process. These previously owned products could have observable minor blemishes that do not affect performance, or could look as good as new.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC

Of the new GeForce cards, the RTX 5070 Ti is considered the best bang for your buck for 4K gaming. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super (and better in games that support DLSS 4), which means it is capable of high framerates in all games, even at 4K resolution. It also has the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080, making it a more economical alternative to the 5080 for AI work. Check out our Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 Ti GPU review.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5060 Ti Gaming PC

The RTX 5060 Ti is the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and delievers a roughly 15%-20% improvement in games. That's a better generational uplift than the RTX 5070 (over the RTX 4070). This is absolutely the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming from a value perspective and much more future-proof than an RTX 5060 (non-Ti) gaming PC.

Alienware Aurora 16 and 16X Gaming Laptops

Alienware's new mainstream gaming laptop for 2025 is dubbed the "Alienware Aurora" and it replaces the previous generation's x16 and m16 series of laptops. It comes in two models: the 16 and 16X. The 16 is the more economical model, but gamers should definitely opt for the higher-end 16X model. If you're looking for build quality and performance on par with the previous generation m16, then the 16X is its spiritual successor. It features an anodized aluminum lid and base, a higher quality display, a more powerful CPU, and a GPU that isn't throttled for maximum gaming performance.

Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops

New for 2025, the Alienware Area-51 gaming laptop features an anodized aluminum shell for both the lid and bottom chassis with a gorgeous iridescent finish. The frame is made of a durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. Cooling has been upgraded with generous amounts of copper and a new thermal interface material to better transfer heat away from your hottest components as well as more fans and bigger cutouts for greater airflow. Dell claims that the laptop can handle a higher power ceiling of up to 240W TDP without raising acoustics.

Design-wise, the Area 51 has a sleeker, more contoured shape compared to previous models, with rounded edges and soft corners replacing the traditional squared off design. The hinges are internally positioned so that they're near invisible. There's a transparent window on the undercarriage to show off the internal components. As befits an Alienware laptop, there's plenty of RGB illunimation, although most of it can be turned off if you want your laptop to be a bit more subtle.

"Like New" Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops at Dell Outlet

The Alienware Area-51 is Dell's best and boldest lineup of gaming laptops for 2025 and they've just dropped to the lowest prices I've seen for Black Friday. Dell Outlet typically stocks "Like New" Alienware 16 Area-51 gaming laptops at anywhere between 10%-35% off retail price. However, for Black Friday, there's an additional 18% discount that's automatically applied in your shopping cart. Configurations include RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and even RTX 5090 GPUs. Note that "Like New" models are certified refurbished and include the same 1 year warranty as buying new.

34" Alienware AW3423DWF QD OLED Gaming Monitor

Black Friday kicks off with a bang thanks to one of the best deals I've seen for an OLED monitor. Dell just dropped the price on the venerable 34" Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED gaming monitor from $900 to just $499.99 shipped. This is one of Alienware's highest end gaming monitors, with a gorgeous QD OLED panel, WQHD resolution, and a respectable 165Hz refresh rate. Best of all, Alienware OLED monitors include a 3 year warranty that includes OLED burn-in protection.

32" Alienware AW3225QF 4K QD OLED Gaming Monitor

If you've got a powerful enough gaming PC to run games in 4K at high framerates, then you might want to future-proof your setup with one of the best OLED gaming monitors available. The Alienware AW3225QF was first announced during CES 2024 and is Dell's one of few OLED monitors that combine a 4K resolution with an OLED panel. It also has a higher 240Hz refresh rate and official G-Sync certification.

Save $250 Off the Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme SteamOS Handheld Gaming PC for Black Friday

Best Buy's Black Friday Sale has officially kicked off with some great deals on gaming hardware. Possibly the very best deal I've found so far is on the Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Exterme SteamOS handheld gaming PC, which has dropped to just $649.99 after a massive $250 instant discount. This is the lowest price I've seen by nearly $130. Note that this is the more powerful model with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip and it is easily one of the best Steam-based gaming handhelds currently available. It's essentially a souped up Steam Deck alternative.

Save $250 Off the Lenovo Legion Go S Handheld Gaming PC

This particular Lenovo Legion Go S model is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, which is significantly more powerful than the Ryzen Z2 Go (which we didn't like very much at all) and the Steam Deck's custom APU. It's supplemented by a generous 32GB of RAM and 512GB storage capacity. Since it runs on the SteamOS client, it outperforms the Steam Deck in most games. Graphics also look sharper with more fluid movement, thanks to a bigger 8" 1200p display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life remains roughly equivalent, however the Legion Go S does benefit from a much faster maximum charging rate (up to 100W input if your charger can support it).

Check out Jacqueline's 9/10 review of the Legion Go S (Z1 Extreme, SteamOS model), in which she concludes that it is one of the "best handheld gaming PCs on the market, and a legitimate Steam Deck alternative."

The PNY Geforce RTX 5080 Graphics Card Just Dropped Below MSRP for Black Friday

If you've been waiting patiently for the powerful GeForce RXT 5080 graphics card to drop below MSRP, you better jump on this deal now before it's too late. For Black Friday, Walmart has dropped the price of the PNY GeForce RTX 5080 16GB OC Graphics Card to $949, which is $50 less than the suggest MSRP of a reference RTX 5080 GPU. This deal has popped up a twice in the past three months, and both times the GPU has gone out of stock very quickly.

PNY GeForce RTX 5080 16GB OC Graphics Card for $929

The HP Black Friday Sale Is Now Live, Save up to $1,300 Off Powerful OMEN Gaming Laptops

HP's Black Friday Sale has officially commenced, and it encompasses HP's entire range of OMEN gaming laptops. Gamers looking for a mobile desktop replacement will find plenty of deals right up their alley. OMEN MAX, OMEN Transcend, and just plain old OMEN gaming laptops are on sale right now with discounts up to $1,300 off. The range of products caters to every budget, from affordable yet capable RTX 5060 systems to top-end RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 powerhouses. All orders ship free and all HP laptops come standard with a 1 year warranty.

OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop

HP just dropped the price of the OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop to just $1,399.99 with free shipping after applying 30% off coupon "OMENMAX30". Specs include a 16" 1920x1200 display, Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. This system can be customized if any of the specs aren't to your liking. I'd recommend upgrading to the 2560x1600 OLED display for an extra $150 ($105 after code). The RTX 5070 Ti is a powerful mobile GPU that should easily handle even the latest demanding games on the laptop's 2K display. It's comparable in performance to the previous generation's RTX 4080 and pulls ahead of it in games that support DLSS 4.

OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop

If you want something even more powerful, then check out this OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5080 gaming laptop for just $1,999.99 with free shipping after $1,300 in instant discounts. Aside from the GPU, this laptop has been upgraded with a higher resolution 16" 2560x1600 display, a more powerful and higher core-count Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, and double the RAM and storage capacity. The RTX 5080 is an absolute monster of a mobile GPU that surpasses the previous generation's top performer, the RTX 4090. You could even enable ray tracing and still get playable frames, something that was unheard of in laptops just a few years ago.

OMEN Transcend 14 RTX 5060 Ultra-Portable Gaming Laptop

The OMEN Transcend 14 is HP's thinnest and lightest gaming laptop, measuring just 0.71" thin and weighing in at about 3.6 pounds (about as thin and light as the much pricier Razer Blade 14). Right now you can get it for as low as $1,299.99 for Black Friday after a $700 off instant discount. It's equipped with a gorgeous 14" 2880x1800 OLED display, efficient Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 16GB of LPDDR5X (onboard) RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The RTX 5060 is a capable, current-gen GPU that will play non-demanding games just fine even on the 3K display, but I'd recommend dropping the resolution down to 1080p and enabling DLSS if you plan on playing extra demanding games. Still, you won't find another thin and light laptop with this kind of gaming prowess under $1,300.

OMEN 16" RTX 5060 Gaming Laptop

Yes, even if you're budget is tight, you can still get a very good gaming laptop for under $1,000. This OMEN 16" gaming laptop, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, can be had for just $949.99 after a hefty $850 off instant discount. The AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX is a surprisingly powerful GPU for this price range, with a max frequency of 5.3GHz and an ample 16 cores and 32 threads. The RTX 5060 is an unthrottled model that's more powerful than the 5060 found in the OMEN Transcend and will be able to run games smoothly on the 2K display.

The Best Meta Quest Black Friday Deal Is Now Live (Get a Quest 3 VR Headset for Just $360)

The best Meta Quest deal we'll probably see for Black Friday has just gone live. Starting today, the official Meta Store on eBay is offering the refurbished Meta Quest 3 512GB VR headset for just $359.99 after a 20% off coupon code "CYBERWEEK20". Better yet, it comes with an extended 2 year warranty supplied by Allstate. The Quest 3 normally retails for $500 new and is rarely discounted. I saw this deal once before during Amazon's October Prime Day and it was so popular that it sold out within a day. This is easily the best deal I've ever seen on the Meta Quest 3 and you should absolutely buy it now over waiting for another deal during Black Friday.

Refurb Meta Quest 3 for $359.99

Includes extended 2 year warranty

The Meta Quest 3 is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset and is a significant upgrade compared to its less expensive Quest 3S sibling. The two share the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, Touch Plus controllers with inside-out tracking, and mixed reality passthrough. However, the Quest 3 has a higher resolution, higher FOV display with a much wider focused sweet spot thanks to its superior pancake lens design. The Quest 3 also has much more onboard storage. For VR veterans who are sure to benefit from a better display, I would highly recommend the Quest 3 over the 3S. I own it myself (and I reviewed it for IGN) and have logged over a thousand hours in Beat Saber alone.

TL;DR:

  • Quest 3 has sharper resolution (2064x2208 vs 1832x1920)
  • Quest 3 has better lens array (pancake vs fresnel)
  • Quest 3 has lower FOV (104°/96° vs 96°/90°)
  • Quest 3 has higher storage capacity (512GB vs 128GB)
  • Same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor
  • Same Touch Plus controllers
  • Same 120Hz refresh rate
  • Same Mixed reality passthrough functionality
  • Same tetherless and tethered functionality

Save 25% Off a 512GB Nintendo Switch 2 Memory Card for Black Friday, Made by Samsung

Nintendo Switch 2 owners have reason to rejoice because there's a new Black Friday deal on one of the most important accessories you can get for your console. Starting now, Amazon is offering the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card for just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount. Alternatively, the 256GB model is also on sale for $47.47, but you might want to pass on that deal; Nintendo has already announced that the official Switch 2 256GB memory card (which, by the way, is also made by Samsung) will drop to $39.99 on Cyber Monday.

Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express Card for $74.99

The Nintendo Switch 2 is only compatible with MicroSD Express memory cards. Samsung's P9 is pretty much identical to the official Switch 2 memory card but without the Switch 2 branding. The P9 is also available in a 512GB capacity, unlike the official card which is limited to 256GB. The Samsung P9 boasts transfer (sequential read) speeds of up to 800MB/s, far far faster than any former generation MicroSD card, which caps at well under 200MB/s for even the fastest models.

If you don't yet own a Switch 2, now might be a good time to get one. It's now in stock everywhere, including Amazon, without any invitation required. Nintendo also recently raised prices on Switch 2 accessories and warned that the console itself might see a price hike in the near future. I don't expect any sales on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles during Black Friday and the only way to get one cheaper would be buying an imported model from AliExpress or used consoles from eBay or other marketplaces. Check out our Nintendo Switch 2 review, in which Tom Mark aptly describes the new console as "a vital but unexciting upgrade to a console I already love."
