Every Animated Disney and Pixar Movie You Can Buy in 4K UHD

Disney has been releasing more and more of its classic animated movies in 4K over the past few years. Some of these releases are timed with new live-action versions of the films, like what we saw with Lilo & Stitch this year, and other remastered favorites are now arriving in glorious Ultra HD simply because audiences are asking for them. If you're looking to add a few 4K Disney movies to your personal collection (or buy them as a gift for someone this year), I've rounded up every one you can buy right now.

Animated Disney Movies Available in 4K

Everything that has gotten the live-action treatment has received a 4K re-release. That includes The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Snow White, and Aladdin. Pretty much everything after The Princess and the Frog has also gotten a 4K release as well, so it's mostly the classics that are missing here. There's also the latest 4K release, The Emperor's New Groove, which is getting the treatment for its 25th anniversary.

The most notable exclusion of a 4K re-release, in my opinion, is Tarzan. I still listen to the soundtrack to that movie from time to time and it is just as good as the first time I heard it. Hercules is another suspicious omission, but since a live-action film is on its way in 2027, I'm willing to bet a 4K animated release will follow.

Pixar Movies Available in 4K

A lot more Pixar films are available in 4K than classic Disney movies. Pixar has released 29 movies and 26 of them are available to buy in 4K right now. The three missing films from this list are Toy Story 3, Cars 2 – although you can still technically buy these sequels for a massively marked-up price on Amazon – and Elemental. But Elemental was a Disney Club exclusive and sold out relatively quickly.

If you're hoping to buy a complete Toy Story collection, the good news is that a new movie is coming out and, most likely, a new box set will be released along with it. Toy Story 5 is set to arrive in theaters in June 2026.

What Is the Best Place to Buy 4K Disney Movies?

The overall best place to buy 4K movies is on Amazon. This is simply because it tends to have the largest selection available at any given time. In some cases, new releases, like Inside Out 2, will sell out at Amazon and only be available at other retailers like Walmart and Target.

Can you stream Disney movies in 4K?

If you have a Disney+ Premium subscription, you can stream some Disney movies in 4K on the platform. Not every animated movie is available in 4K on Disney+, but if it has been remastered digitally then there's a good chance you can stream it at that same quality.

Walmart Extends Its Cyber Monday Sale With Deals on Switch 2 Bundles, LEGO Sets, and AirPods Still in Stock

Almost all of the major Cyber Monday sales ended last night. Amazon, Target, and Best Buy all closed the curtains on some of the biggest discounts we saw from the whole Black Friday period. If you missed your chance to get any shopping in, however, Walmart has decided to extend its sale for one more day to catch any stragglers still looking for deals.

Although a lot of the most enticing discounts are now out of stock, Walmart is still offering some of the best deals anywhere online with this extended sale. Most notably, the Switch 2 Bundle is still in stock and on sale. You can also find a lot of LEGO sets on sale that are completely sold out at Amazon.

Walmart Extended Cyber Monday Sale – Stock Tracking

Nintendo Switch 2 Bundle Deal

The best overall deal still live at Walmart is the Switch 2 bundle. Walmart was the first retailer to drop this discount yesterday and is one of the only places you can still get it. Amazon briefly had a restock with the same discount this morning, but it quickly sold out. Walmart does require that you sign in or make an account before you can buy this, but that's relatively easy to do. This is the first and likely only Switch 2 discount we'll be seeing until next Black Friday at the earliest. If you're hoping to snag a Switch 2 before Christmas, don't hesitate on this.

LEGO Deals Still Live at Walmart

The discounts on LEGO sets were incredibly popular this year. A lot of the best LEGO deals didn't actually arrive until actual Black Friday and the most popular deals sold out before Cyber Monday. Walmart still has some really great sets at a discount, including Star Wars and Harry Potter options. The LEGO Chomping Monster Book of Monsters is a personal favorite of mine and Walmart is one of the only places with stock left at this price.

Walmart+ Subscriptions Are Discounted for One More Day

In addition to extended discounts on products, Walmart is also still offering its Cyber Monday Walmart+ deal. You can currently get 12 months of the subscription for only $49 a year, which is a 50% discount. If you're already an annual member, you won't be eligible for this discount. You also forfeit your eligibility for the discount if you choose to use the free trial.

There are quite a few benefits to a subscription, but I'd like to highlight that this is one of the only Cyber Monday streaming deals still available. In addition to free shipping and grocery delivery, Walmart+ will also get you access to either Paramount+ or a Peacock Premium subscription. Here's a quick rundown of all of the the benefits it comes with:

  • Free Shipping: A Walmart+ membership gets you free shipping for online orders, with no order minimum.
  • Free Delivery: You also get free delivery from your local Walmart store on lots of items, including groceries. There is a $35 order minimum required for the free delivery.
  • Free Pharmacy Delivery: Free delivery includes medications from the Walmart pharmacy.
  • Paramount+ or Peacock Streaming Service: Included in every Walmart+ membership is full access to the streaming service Paramount+ (with ads) or Peacock Premium. You'll be able to initially choose which streaming service you want and then have the option to switch again after 90 days.
  • Burger King Savings: Members get 25% off Burger King every day, plus a free Whopper with purchase every three months.
  • Early Access to Sales and Promotions: Walmart+ members get early access to promotions and sales events like the Walmart Black Friday sale.
  • Returns from Home: With a Walmart+ membership, any returns will be picked up from your house or apartment.
  • Savings on Fuel: You also get discounts on fuel you buy from a variety of gas stations, including Exxon, Mobil, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Murphy.
  • Savings on Auto Repairs: You can get free flat tire repair for your vehicle and free road hazard warranty at nationwide Walmart Auto Care Centers.
  • Free Online Pet Care: You get free 24/7 pet care with the Pawp app.
  • Mobile Scan and Go: If you do go into a brick-and-mortar store, you can use your phone to scan and pay for items without having to mess with checkout lines.

The Best Gifts for Readers and Book Lovers for the 2025 Holiday Season

Finding the best gifts for everyone in your life can be tricky. If you're on the hunt for the best gifts for readers, however, it's a little easier. People who love books love receiving book gifts, plain and simple. Where it gets complicated is figuring out what exactly a good gift for the reader in your life looks like.

Top Gifts for Readers in 2025

I'm what you may consider a binge reader. I usually go through about three to five books per month, and if I find a new series I really like, that number will shoot up quickly. All of this reading means I can never have too many books and book accessories and I have a decent idea of what gifts readers will love. Below, I've outlined some of the most enticing book gift ideas I've found for the 2025 holiday seson, including but not limited to the Kindle Paperwhite, bookends, book lights, and of course, a few books.

Collectible Illustrated Editions

What do you get for someone who has already seeminly read everything? My recommendation would be an awesome collectible version of a series they already love. There are quite a few illustrated editons available to choose from. My top choice would be the LoTR books because you can get the Deluxe Illustrated Edition that includes illustrations from Tolkien himself and it comes as a single monster tome. The Harry Potter books would be my second top pick as I have gifted those to various people over the years and own a set myself. You can browse some other popular choices below, and also see our top Lord of the Rings gift ideas and Harry Potter gifts. I've found these are especially good gifts to give to parents who plan on sharing their favorite stories with their kids in a more approachable way.

LEGO Book Nook Sets

LEGO just recently released a three new book nook sets that make for wonderful gifts. The concept of the book nook isn't exactly new, but it's a first for LEGO and they are actually really cool builds. So far there is a Lord of the Rings set, a Harry Potter set, and a Sherlock Holmes set available. Each one offers a glimpse into something iconic from those franchises and is specifically made to sit on your shelf among your books. My personal favorite out of all of these is the Hogwarts Express set because it can function as book nook or really cool set of bookends, but all three of them are wonderful in their own ways.

Cheaper alternatives

If you like the idea of giving a book nook kit as a gift, but don't want to pay LEGO prices, there are some much cheaper alternatives available that are just as cool.

Popular Book Box Sets

With so many books available digitally these days, a lot of folks don't actually own physical editions of their favorite series. Book sets are a great gift for that reason, and many of these box sets also include some sort of art on the binding that make them excellent decor items. My top pick here would be the Game of Thrones books. They are one of the most popular fantasy series available despite everyone still waiting on the final book, Winds of Winter. The Lord of the Rings books are also a great option if you're sticking to fantasy, but there's a box set for just about every major series if you search for it. There's also the Witcher books box set, which is great for anyone who has only played the games or watched the TV series.

A Nice E-Reader

As someone who reads a lot, I've found that an e-reader is absolutely essential. Not only is it difficult to carry a large stack of physical books everywhere you go, the convenience of being able to download new titles as soon as you finish reading one. There are even plenty of ways to read books for free online if you don't want to pay for a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

The e-reader I'd personally recommend is the latest Amazon Kindle Paperwhite thanks to the paper-like screen and built-in adjustable backlight. It's a little bit larger than the standard Kindle, so it comes with a bigger screen and faster downloads. You will need to purchase a separate case for the Paperwhite to get the full effect though.

Outside of Amazon's device, there are other tablets that are great for reading as well if you are looking to gift a device that can do more than just display words. Something like an iPad Mini is great if you're looking to read graphic novels as well as books.

A Cool Set of Bookends

A large collection of physical books is a wonderful addition to any home, but a cool set of book ends can really bring it all together (literally). There are a ton of book ends available, but the set I would personally recommend is this pair of Agate bookends. My grandfather used to collect stones like this and hand cut them to bookend his own book collection, so I own a few of these. Because it's a decor item, however, there are a lot of different style choices available.

For a high-end book end option for LOTR fans, there's a waitlist for Gates of Argonath Bookends which costs $80 and can be wishlisted. It just might be worth it though once you see the detail and quality.

Must-Have Book Accessories

Looking for more gift ideas? We've gathered a ton of cool book acessories below. This includes things like bookmarks, reading lights, and other things that can improve the reading experience. If you're more of a digital reader, the remote control page turner is the perfect accessory for reading in bed for peak laziness.

Subscription Services

Digital reading is often a cheaper, clutterless alternative to reading physical books. If you have a Kindle, we recommend getting a Kindle Unlimited membership, and we've broken down the pricing structure here. You can pick from thousands of books, comics, magazines, and more, all accessible with a tap of your finger. I personally have a Kindle Unlimited subscription and have found it to be excellent for reading popular LitRPG books and romantasy without overspending.

Then if you're more of an audiobook listener with limited time to sit down and read, an Audible subcription is for you. Similar to Kindle Unlimited, you'll be able to check out thousands of eBooks and podcasts straight from your preferred smart device. Audible recently released a new full-cast audiobook of Harry Potter that makes it worth atleast giving a try. I actually really enjoyed it. Check out our Audible pricing guide here.

The Best Harry Potter Gifts I'd Recommend for Any Potter Fanatic

Harry Potter is one of those sprawling franchises that has fans in just about every age group. There are the adults who have core memories of the series as well as youngsters who are just now discovering the books and movies for the first time. I myself have been a fan of the Harry Potter franchise since I was first able to read full novels. I remember waiting in line at my local Barnes & Noble for each new book in the series and devouring every word as soon as I got my hands on it.

Now that Harry Potter has infiltrated almost every medium and not just one of the best-selling books of all time, there are enough gifts for Harry Potter fans out there to fill the depths of Gringotts. If you're looking for the perfect Potter thing to buy for yourself or the fan in your life, I've gone ahead and narrowed it down for you with some of my top gift picks from over the years, all of which are great for Christmas.

Gifts for LEGO Fans

Harry Potter and LEGO have been fitting together in perfect harmony for quite some time. There are a ton of different Harry Potter LEGO sets you can choose from, but my top recommendation would be the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set. We actually had the chance to build this set ourselves and loved it. It's also surprisingly affordable compared to some of the other sets of this size. For more great options, we've gathered more of our top picks for all ages below. There's also a new Book Nook Hogwarts Express that released in June alongside a bunch of new Harry Potter sets like the interactive Choming Monster Book of Monsters I had the chance to build myself

And if you're looking for something holiday specific, LEGO has already released the 2025 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar.

Gifts for Fans of the Books

For fans of the Harry Potter books specifically, there are a surprising number of options available. The items we'd most recommend are the illustrated editions. These are beautiful works of art illustrated by Jim Kay that bring the magic of the story to life. Only the first five books have gotten this treatment, but they are a wonderful gift to give that I have actually even purchased for myself. It was announced just this year that a new artist will be working illustrating the final two books in the series, so you'll eventually be able to finish your collection if you start one.

Outside of that, there are actually are interactive illustrated editions of the series that include both artwork and papercraft. The first three of those books are available now with artwork by MinaLima, and there was a fourth released in October from a new artist. You can also check out our guide to books like Harry Potter for recommendations outside the series or dive into more gift recommendations below.

Gifts for Fans of the Movies

For fans of the Harry Potter movies specifically, the top gift I'd recommend is this 4K UHD and Blu-ray film collection. It includes all eight of the original movies in both glorious 4K and Blu-ray and comes packaged in one set. Although you can currently watch all of the films on Max, it's always good to have physical copies on hand. Separately, the three-film collection of the Fantastic Beasts movies is a worthy addition. We have more suggestions below that are great for any fan of the films, including a replica of the Elder Wand and a movie poster puzzle that covers all of the films.

Gifts for Gamers

There have been more Harry Potter games than most people even realize, but if you're looking for the absolute best option in 2024, Hogwarts Legacy is the way to go. This game actually takes place long before Harry was even born, but is still set in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the castle grounds. I personally found it's worth playing just for the ability to roam freely around the castle, and IGN actually gave it a glowing review when it first came out thanks to it's expansive world. Outside of this game, we recommend the LEGO Harry Potter video games that were remastered for modern consoles. There's also a slew of Harry Potter board games that are fun for the whole family and one of the coolest chess sets you'll ever play chess with.

Gifts for the Home

If you're looking for a good Harry Potter gift for someone that seems to already own everything Potter-themed, home decor items are a great way to go. My top pick is an item that I've actually purchased for my brother already. This Marauder's Map throw blanket is super soft and doesn't have to be displayed anywhere – but it's there when you want to bundle up and be warm. We've also included some additional home decor gifts below that are fairly innocuous, like the small Golden Snitch lamp and a mug.

Gifts for Puzzlers

If you're looking for a good gift for the chronic puzzler in your life, there are a surprising number of options. I've seen a ton of different Harry Potter puzzles throughout the years, but the Herbology scientific poster jigsaw puzzle is my favorite. It depicts a hand-drawn classification of different ingredients you'd find in your standard Herbology class at Hogwarts and is a more subtle nod to the franchise that is fun to put together.

Outside of this particular option, there are plenty of other cool Harry Potter puzzles to choose from for fans of any age.

When Does Harry Potter Merch Go on Sale?

If you're looking to save as much money as possible on gifts, there are a few different times of year when we'd expect to find discounts on Harry Potter merchandise. For 2025, the biggest sales are alreaady done. That included Amazon Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days sale in October, and of course, Black Friday season. These are two of the best times of the year to buy gifts. Amazon will be looking to unload stock of older items with it's fall sale in preparation for November when we expect most things will start going on sale to some degree.

Outside of major sales, there's also Back to Hogwarts Day which took place in early September this year. This was essentially a short series of announcements timed to coincide with the same time of year when youg witches and wizards would be receiving their letters and heading back to the magical castle for the school year. This year there were some surprisingly good deals on LEGO sets as well as a new Hogsmeade set.

Target Has the Best LEGO Harry Potter Deals Still Live for Cyber Monday 2025

With Cyber Monday deals coming to an end tonight, pretty much all of the best LEGO discounts we've seen will be coming to an end. Many of those deals have already expired as stock has run out for the more popular sets. If you're looking for LEGO Harry Potter sets, however, Target still has some great options available for pretty cheap.

Target's Cyber Monday LEGO sale ends tomorrow, so this is your last chance to pick up one of these sets for a discounted price. These are some of my most recommended Harry Potter gifts for fans of all ages and I don't expect the prices to go any lower than this before Christmas.

Target LEGO Harry Potter Sale

The selection of Harry Potter themed LEGO sets is quite vast and these discounts are only a drop in the bucket compared to what's actually available. There's even a massive multi-set Hogwarts Castle build that has been getting new releases over the years, but don't expect to find discounts on that here. These deals are all on smaller sets that are great for all ages and aren't too expensive.

My top pick from this sale is the Chomping Monster Book of Monsters. I actually had the chance to build this set myself back when it was first released this year and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It's small enough that you can put it together in a single afternoon while also detailed enough to feel like a challenge. Best of all, it actually rolls and chomps once it's all put together. I'd definitely recommend checking it out at this price.

Also included in this sale are a few other sets that are great for display or play. The Knight Bus Adventure set is a recreation of the iconic scene from The Prisoner of Azkaban complete with a little swinging chandelier inside. And a potted Mandrake set looks like it's straight out of Professor Sprout's Herbology class. You can pull it out of its pot and it will actually open its mouth as if to shriek. Either of these sets would look great on a desk or a bookshelf.

The most expensive LEGO Harry Potter set I've featured here is the Sorting Hat. It is unique compared to most LEGO builds in that it can move and talk once you fully put it together. The design has all of the wrinkles and stitches you'd expect and it comes with a single minifigure of Harry Potter from The Sorcerer's Stone. We actually had the chance to build this set ourselves and loved the final product, although we felt the process of putting everything together was overall a bit monotonous.

Amazon's Cyber Monday Google Pixel 10 Pro Deals Will End Tonight

If you're hoping to find a deal on an unlocked Google Pixel phone before Cyber Monday deals come to an end, I've got some good news: Both Amazon and Best Buy still have slashed prices on all of the latest models from the Pixel lineup. The Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold have all dropped to their lowest prices for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with a whopping 25% savings. These deals launched earlier this month and have come back just in time for Amazon's official Cyber Monday sale.

Google's line of smartphones is mostly known for its high-quality camera and helpful AI features, both of which make them great iPhone alternatives. As someone who has owned a Pixel for well over a year now, I have no problem recommending them to anyone looking for a smartphone upgrade at a reasonable price.

The Best Google Pixel Phone Deals at Amazon Today

The only exception to the 25% Cyber Monday discount is the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is only getting 17% off the retail price. But even that is still substantial when you consider that this is the best discount we've seen on Google's latest foldable phone since it was released in October. With these price drops, right now is the best time we've seen all year to pick up an unlocked Google Pixel phone at a discount. None of these price drops are attached to a carrier plan, so you don't need to sign any sort of contract before you buy. You can currently find these savings at Amazon or at Best Buy if any of any of the colors are out of stock.

Which phone should you buy?

Pixel 10 Pro vs. Pixel 10

Deciding which Google phone to buy really comes down to what features you want and how much you're willing to pay. My Google Pixel 8 is a few generations old at this point, but I decided to grab the Pro because of the increased screen size and bigger battery. I'd highly recommend picking up either the Pro or Pro XL if you plan on using your phone to watch videos or play games at all. Otherwise the cheaper Pixel 10 is probably your best bet at this price.

We reviewed the Google Pixel 10 Pro earlier this year and found that it didn't offer that many improvements of the Pixel 9 Pro. However, with the discount right now, the latest model is definitely the one worth buying over the previous generation.

The Google Pixel 9 deal is the best value option

If you don't mind going back a generation to save even more cash, I'd recommend checking out the Google Pixel 9 deal Amazon also has going on right now. We reviewed the Google Pixel 10 when it came out in September and overall found it to be not as big of an upgrade as we hoped it would be. It's definitely an improvement over the Pixel 9 in terms of performance thanks to the Tensor G5 chip and additional AI features, but it isn't a massive leap. Considering the Pixel 9 is currently $100 cheaper than the Pixel 10 right now, it's worth considering going back a generation for additional savings.

If you're debating which generation to buy, I'd recommend checking out this Pixel 10 vs. Pixel 9 comparison guide that breaks down all of the differences.

Should You Wait For a Better Deal on Next Year?

While these are indeed the best prices we've ever seen on the Google Pixel 10 phones this year, that doesn't mean the prices won't drop further next year. Google always launches its new phones sometime around August and will usually drop bigger and bigger discounts on its latest generation phones as the we get closer to that date. So if you really want to maximize your savings on Pixel 10, it's probably better to wait until 2026. If you need a phone right now, though, these deals are really great for how recently the new phones were released.

Cyber Monday Deals for 2025: We're Tracking the Best Discounts Still in Stock Today

Cyber Monday isn't all that different from Black Friday, but it is the last official day of most sales. Most major retailers are offering similar prices we found during Black Friday, however, there are actually some better deals going on today we've included here. The IGN Deals team is here to help you maximize your savings with only the best discounts available today.

With that in mind, this is still a massive sale and we're doing our best to keep track of everything that is still live and available. Popular deals are constantly going in and out of stock at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and more, so we're working hard to find you the best possible price available anywhere.

Our Favorite Cyber Monday Deals Today

Our favorite deal overall is the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle, which, if you're fast enough, is down to $450 at Walmart and Amazon (MSRP $499 / total value $529). Even before this deal, the Switch 2 has been selling quickly and Cyber Monday is potentially your last chance to grab bundles in stock.

At this price, I expect they will go even faster. You can browse the full carousel above for more of our favorites or jump straight to the categories you're most interested in below where our experts have curated the best deals.

Best Video Game Deals

If you're looking for Cyber Monday deals on games, our Senior Commerce Editor Robert Anderson has been curating all of the best discounts from Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox. A lot of the best deals on video games have already gone out of stock, so don't hesitate on any of these deals while they're still around

Nintendo Switch 2 Deals

The most notable discounts from Black Friday were the Mario Switch games, but unfortunately all of those deals are now gone. You can still get the Switch 2 bundle in stock, however, and there are quite a few Switch games still left at Walmart and Amazon still.

PlayStation 5 Deals

PlayStation has really done the most this year with its Black Friday deals, and many of those discounts are still around for Cyber Monday. The PS5 accessory deals are especially good and you can still pick up a PlayStation Portal on sale from pretty much every major retailer. There are also plenty of DualSense controller discounts still available.

Xbox Deals

The Xbox deals are still holding strong for Cyber Monday. Almost all of the Xbox games that were on sale for Black Friday are still in stock and available at one retailer or the other and Game Pass subscriptions are still discounted. Some of the Xbox controller colors have sold out, but the discount remains. There's even a deal on the Xbox Series X at Best Buy finally.

PC Game Deals

If you're looking for PC games specifically, there are are number of places to go. Most notably, Steam launched its first Black Friday sale this year and that is still going on today, so that's definitely worth a look. A lot of prices have actually improved now that Cyber Monday has arrived.

Handheld Gaming PC Deals

There aren't a ton of deals on handheld gaming PCs going on right now, but there are some. Our top pick is the discount on the Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS included. You can also get the Steam Deck at a bit of a discount directly from Steam right now. The Xbox Ally did briefly go on sale at Best Buy on Sunday evening, but the deal was gone fast.

Gaming PC Deals

Some of the best discounts are on hardware direct from the Dell Alienware Cyber Monday sale. You can also find some surprisingly low prices at Walmart and Best Buy for iBuypower and CyberPowerPC gaming rigs. There have also been some good deals on the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 going in and out of stock.

Gaming Laptop Deals

Similar to gaming PCs, most of the top Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals are direct from the manufacturers' own sales. The Dell sale has the Alienware 16 Aurora for under $1,000 and the HP sale has Omen laptop deals under that price point as well

Gaming Monitor Deals

There are quite a few really good Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals going on rigt now. The Dell sale has only gotten better since Black Friday, and LG Ultragear monitors are seeing some solid price reductions across various retailers. We've highlighted a nice mix of budget options and high-end monitors here, but all of these deals are good.

Gaming Chair Deals

The Cyber Monday deals on gaming chairs are exactly the same as they were during Black Friday. Our top pick, in terms of overall value, is the Razer Iskur V2 X. It's the best budget chair and is discounted an extra $50 on top of that. Both Secretlab and Andaseat also have sales live and you can save a decent chunk of change there as well.

Gaming Keyboard Deals

There are a ton of gaming keyboard deals for Cyber Monday this year, and all of our favorite deals from Black Friday are still around. Our top pick overall is the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 we reviewed earlier this year. It's a terrific keyboard at full price, so the discount just makes it even better.

Gaming Headset Deals

Our overall favorite headset is still on sale for Cyber Monday. We gave the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro an absolutely glowing review and this rare discount makes it worth picking up. There's also quite a few cheaper options currently available if you don't want to spend that much money. We've highlighted a mix of budget and high-end gaming headset options here.

Gaming Mice Deals

Our favorite Cyber Monday gaming mice deals are from various popular brands. Razer has some solid discounts here, but the best overall value comes from SteelSeries. Our review of the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro goes into detail about what makes this deal worth the premium price if you're looking for a bigger upgrade.

Streaming Deals

All of the best streaming deals are still live for Cyber Monday, and our streaming expert Blythe Dujardin has been tracking them all. The most popular deal is the Disney and Hulu bundle, which drops the price down to $4.99 per month for an entire year. There are also discounts on standalone subscriptions like Crunchyroll, Apple TV, and HBO Max that are definitely worth checking out. For anyone looking for a sports streaming option, Disney also still has the discount available on the ESPN Unlimited bundle as well.

Apple Deals

The Apple Cyber Monday sale is the same as it was for Black Friday, but that doesn't make the deals any less good. All of the latest AirPods models are at their lowest prices of the year, and you can also find big discounts on the latest iPads and MacBook Air.

TCG Deals

There's been loads of great TCG deals in the Black Friday sales so far and some of them are still in stock for Cyber Monday. What we've picked here are absolutely the favorites of our trading card game expert writers, Lloyd Coombes, and Christian Wait.

Avatar MTG Collector Booster Boxes are back in stock at Amazon, and discount for Black Friday, dropping to $399.99. They were over $550 just a week ago, so despite the high cost, this is a smashing deal. Standard play booster boxes are also discounted, and down to $149.99 for a box of 30.

LEGO Deals

Some of the best LEGO deals from Black Friday are still in stock, but many have disappeared already. The LEGO Pac-Man set has been one of the most popular deals so far, but there are tons of great options from every major LEGO Themes still avaialb. Whether you're looking for adult LEGO sets or some great options for kids, there are discounts for all ages here. Even though Amazon is selling out quickly, there are still a ton of LEGO Harry Potter sets available at Target.

4K Blu-ray Deals

Amazon hands-down has the best sale on 4K Blu-rays for Cyber Monday. There are discounts on tons of popular movies in 4K as well as box sets for less than half their normal prices. You can even get a copy of the new Superman movie in 4K for only $12.99. That's a great deal.

Board Game Deals

Amazon has a wonderful collection of board game deals going on right now and some of them are also included in its 3 for 2 sale happening today. These types of sales are a great way to pick up a bunch of board games at once and save a ton.

TV Deals

The Cyber Monday TV deals are all just as good as what we saw during Black Friday. The main exception to that is the LG OLED deals that keep going in and out of stock at eBay, like the LG G5. Those price drops might return, but they are not currently available now.

Headphone Deals

The overall best deals on earbuds right now are on the AirPods. If you need a pair of those, Cyber Monday deals are your last chance to save big. For over-ear options, we've also been finding great deals on the new Sony WH-1000XM6 at eBay.

Phone Deals

All of the Phone discounts we saw on Black Friday remain and the best deals are still on unlocked phones. Both the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Google Pixel 10 Pro have dropped to the lowest prices we've ever seen. You can also get some good deals via carriers if you're hoping to get the new iPhone 17.

Gift Card Deals

Cyber Monday is actually one of the best times of the year to save money on gift cards before the holidays. The Giftcards.com sale going on right now can save you 15% on a ton of different gift cards. If you're buying them for yourself, that's just free money.

3D Printer Deals

There are a lot of 3D printer deals online right now, but our top pick is the Bambu 3D printers on sale at Best Buy. Best Buy has only recently become a reseller of these printers, but it's offering some of the best Cyber Monday discounts during its sale.

When Do Cyber Monday Sales End

There are a lot of similarities between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but Cyber Monday is the conclusive end to the sale. Most major retailers will be ending the sale right at midnight on December 1. That means that a good portion of the deals live today won't be live tomorrow.

With that being said, there are a lot of online stores that choose to continue sales throughout the week. And we'll likely see additional upcoming holiday sales in the lead-up to Christmas this year.

Tips for Cyber Monday Shopping Online in 2025

Planning out your Cyber Monday shopping can help you save a lot of money when it comes time to actually start making purchases. Here are a few Black Friday tips that you should consider ahead of the event:

  1. Set a Budget – Keeping track of how much money you can actually spend is important to avoid overspending. When everything is on sale, it can be easy to buy more than you really should just because things are at their lowest price of the year.
  2. Create a Shopping List – Knowing exactly what you're trying to find discounts on is a great way to avoid making unnecessary purchases. It can also make it easier for you to compare prices between retailers or set price drop alerts ahead of time.
  3. Compare Prices – Retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart make it really easy to do all of your shopping there. That being said, those retailers don't always have the best price on the items you're looking for. Make sure to compare prices across the web before you buy something for more than you have to.
  4. Research Before You Buy – If you're making an expensive purchase, make sure you do at least some research before you buy it. This means looking for independent reviews or testimony from trusted sources about those products. You shouldn't necessarily trust Amazon reviews, for example.
  5. Be Wary of Search Results and AI Summaries - Search platforms, such as Google, have a tendency to be flooded with sponsored links in the results as well as AI summaries that are potentially biased. Be careful to avoid clicking on a sponsored ad if you're looking for reviews or searching for specific products by price.

The Cyber Monday Kindle Deals Are Just as Good as Black Friday

Amazon is kicked off its Black Friday sale with the best Kindle deals we've seen all year, and those same price cuts have continued on into its Cyber Monday sale. Pretty much every model is now at its lowest price of 2025, so if you've been hoping to pick up a good e-reader at a discount, Cyber Monday is your last chance to do so. I've had my Kindle Paperwhite for over a year now and it's one of the only devices I use every day. If you do a lot of reading, I highly recommend getting a Kindle for yourself and changing your life for the better. It's literally thousands of books in the palm of your hand.

There are four core models currently discounted in Amazon's Cyber Monday sale: The Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Colorsoft, Kindle Scriber, and the standard Kindle. Each comes with the option for a free trial of Kindle Unlimited if you don't already have a subscription.

The Best Kindle Deals at Amazon Today

The last time I saw Kindle prices drop this low was during Prime Day in July, and Amazon has matched or gone lower for each model for Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year. The Kindle Paperwhite is currently IGN's top pick for the best reading tablet, and it is currently matching its lowest price ever at $124.99. Perhaps the overall best discount here, however, is on the Kindle Colorsoft. Amazon's full color e-reader has dropped to a new low price of $169.99, which is a full $80 off its usual price. The standard Amazon Kindle has also dropped to its lowest price ever at just $79.99, which is getting into dangerously affordable territory.

Which Kindle should you buy?

With multiple models discounted, it's worth considering the advantages and disadvantages of each before you buy. If all you need is a regular e-ink reading tablet that can function as a replacement for physical books, then it mostly comes down to a choice between the Kindle Paperwhite and the standard Kindle. I've used both myself and the only real difference is in the size of the screen itself. The Kindle Paperwhite has a 7-inch screen while the regular Kindle is only 6-inches. I personally like the additional reading room, but since you can change the font size easily it isn't necessarily worth the extra $45 in this case. Both options also include the adjustable backlight, so reading at night is super easy either way.

The Kindle Colorsoft is what I'd recommend for anyone planning on reading digital comics and manga. The standard Kindles can load comics and graphic novels, but only in black and white. The Colorsoft will allow for full color, making it the best overall option for anything with pictures. An iPad is probably a better choice for comics, but it's a lot more expensive and doesn't feature the same soft e-ink display as a Kindle does.

Lastly, there's the Kindle Scribe, which is essentially an e-ink digital notebook. It can function as a normal Kindle, but with the added benefit of allowing you to write and take notes on it as well. It's great for anyone who is looking to quickly jump between reading a book and being productive in an instant, though it is the most expensive option here.

Kindle Unlimited Is Also on Sale

If you're a new subscriber, it's also worth noting that Amazon is running a promotion for Kindle Unlimited during Cyber Monday as well. During the sale period, you can get the service for just $0.99 per month for the first three months. I took advantage of this promotion last year and have been paying full price for it ever since. I'd only recommend trying out Kindle Unlimited if you're someone that reads a lot of books every month though. It works out great for me because I read a ton of LitRPG books and almost all of them are included with Unlimited, but if you're primarily reading new releases or a series that isn't included, then it's definitely not worth the price.

The Best Black Friday Deals on Gifts I Recommend Buying Before Sales End

Now that Thanksgiving has wrapped up, it's time to start thinking about Christmas. More specifically, it's time to start thinking about Christmas gifts for everyone this year. The best Black Friday deals are all live this weekend and will probably remain through Cyber Monday. This is the weekend to do all of your Christmas shopping before prices start going up.

I myself am a bit of a known last-minute gift shopper. I need the pressure of Christmas being only a few days away to push me to really hunker down and think about what to buy everyone. And while I still haven't done my own Christmas gift shopping this year, I do have some gift ideas to share based on what's actually on sale.

The Best Gifts on Sale for Black Friday This Year

Illustrated Editions of Books Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free

I have a lot of people in my life that love to read and I've found that illustrated editions of their favorite series are often a top gift idea for readers. Of the illustrated editions that are on sale right now, I'd recommend The Lord of the Rings ones. They all include illustrations and maps from Tolkien himself and are arguably the best gift for any true Lord of the Rings fan. All three of these books are currently available in Amazon's buy 2, get 1 free sale so it's a great time to buy.

Another good option available in that same sale is the interactive illustrated versions of Harry Potter. There are a total of four books that have been converted to this style so far and they are actually cool. The "interactive" part is that they are designed to include papercraft alongside just illustrations. I've taken advantage of this same buy 2, get 1 deal on these before and it can save you quite a bit of money on a good Harry Potter gift.

AirPods Are Really Cheap This Year

AirPods are one of the most purchased items during every Black Friday sale. This has been true since the dawn of the AirPod and will likely remain true until the need for earpods becomes a thing of the past. This year we are seeing some really good deals on AirPods models. You can get a pair of the latest AirPods 4 for only $69 right now, which seems like a ridiculous price for Apple tech.

If you're looking to buy the new AirPods Pro 3 instead, those are also on sale for Black Friday. Amazon and other retailers have dropped prices to new lows and it's only been a couple of months since Apple first released these.

Both of these have been within our top ordered items from IGN's audience so far for Black Friday.

Everyone Wants a Nintendo Switch 2

One of the most popular items during Black Friday this year is the new Switch console. There aren't any actual Nintendo Switch 2 deals this year, but that hasn't stopped folks from buying the bundles that offer at least some savings. That's because the Switch 2 is probably never going to be discounted. If you don't buy a bundle now, they might all be gone before Christmas.

As someone who already owns a Nintendo Switch 2, some of the top things on my Christmas list are games and accessories for it. The Switch 2 Pro controller unfortunately isn't discounted yet either, but there are a ton of deals on Switch games and MicroSD express cards worth checking out.

Discounts on PlayStation Games and Accessories Are Great This Year

Some of the best video game deals we've seen so far for Black Friday have been on PlayStation stuff. The PlayStation Black Friday sale has some of the lowest prices we've ever seen on accessories like DualSense controllers and the PlayStation Portal. There are also price drops on the consoles themselves, but they haven't been as popular.

If you're looking for something cheaper, I'd suggest checking out the deals on physical PS5 games. There are a bunch of really popular games getting discounts this year, including new releases like Battlefield 6. There's also Elden Ring for only $15, which is a crazy good deal.

4K and Blu-ray Movie Deals Are Great for Collectors

There are some pretty good Black Friday deals on streaming services this year, but if you're looking for a gift for someone that already has a movie collection started then 4K is the way to go. We've been tracking some incredible 4K movie deals this year and the prices are so worth it.

If you're looking for something more substantial than movies, there are also some great deals on full collections of TV shows available. This includes favorites like Friends, Star Trek, and even Courage the Cowardly Dog.

The Best LEGO Deals of the Year Are Live Now

LEGO has been on fire this year with some of the coolest new sets I've ever seen. It was enough to even convert me into an adult fan of LEGO and I've already started a collection for myself. For 2025 we're seeing some incredible Black Friday LEGO deals with prices dropping to new lows all week. Here's some of the price drops I'd recommend checking out while stock remains.

LEGO also went all out this year with its Black Friday LEGO set. The new LEGO Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise set became available on actual Black Friday and has already completely sold out. The LEGO store has some backorder stock coming in and out, so it's worth a look for any of my fellow Star Trek fans out there.

When Do the Sales Actually End?

Black Friday deals have been going on for more than a week already, but a lot of the best discounts will have an abrupt end. You can expend most major sales to end when Cyber Monday ends, which for this year is December 1. Retailers like Amazon tend to keep sale prices live until 12 a.m. PT, so you'll still have all of Monday before prices go back up. Though some things will likely go out of stock by then.

There are usually follow-up "last-minute" sales that will arrive before Christmas still, but those discounts are never as good as they are during the peak Black Friday shopping window.

The Only Way to Get a Peacock Black Friday Deal This Year Is Through Walmart

Walmart's Black Friday sale has been all over the place so far, but there's one clear highlight: For a limited time, new subscribers can pick up one year of Walmart+ for half the price. So instead of paying $98, you'll pay just $49 for the first 12 months of your subscription.

This may not seem like a streaming deal at first glance, but once you factor in the benefits of a Walmart+ membership, this discount starts to look pretty great. With a membership, you'll get a choice between a Peacock Premium subscription or a Paramount+ subscription in addition to free shipping and grocery delivery. Now that we know Peacock isn't bringing back their killer Black Friday deal from last year, this is one of the best Black Friday streaming deals for anyone who shops at Walmart.

Streaming Service Savings Breakdown

Paramount+ does have a Black Friday deal, dropping the monthly price to $2.99, but it only lasts two months. Peacock had one of the best Black Friday deals last year, offering a full year with ads for $19.99, but we haven't heard a peep from the service in 2025. So with that in mind, I think it's worth breaking down the savings you'll get on just those subscriptions with this deal:

  • Peacock Premium (no ads) - $109.99 annually (Save $60.99 with Walmart+)
  • Paramount+ Basic (with ads) - $59.99 annually (Save $10.99 with Walmart+)

It's pretty clear just looking at the prices that choosing the Peacock Premium subscription will net you the most savings. But it's worth noting that Walmart+ actually gives you the option to change your subscription for free every 90 days. So if you start with Peacock Premium, you can switch to Paramount+ about three months in. With an annual subscription you can swap services up to four times before the year is up.

What's on Peacock?

Peacock isn't as well known as a Netflix or Disney+, but it does have some good originals. Most recently there is The Paper, a spin-off series from the creators of The Office. There's also the popular mystery series Poker Face that I binged myself and loved. Peacock also has exclusive rights to movies from Universal and Focus Features (including things like Jurassic World Rebirth). If you've never had a Peacock subscription before, it has a surprisingly deep catalog of things for you to stream.

What's on Paramount+?

Paramount+ is the home of pretty much anything Paramount. That means you'll find things like the Mission: Impossible movies, Transformers, and the entirety of the Star Trek Universe. It is also the new home of South Park, meaning it's the only place you can stream new episodes of season 28 as they air. You'll also find a roster of Nickelodeon shows spanning decades, from SpongeBob and iCarly to Rocko's Modern Life. Walmart+ only gets you access to a basic subscription, however, so you'll need to deal with ads. (And if you want access to shows like Yellowjackets or Dexter, you'll need a Paramount+ Premium plan that includes Showtime, which is, obviously, not included in this Walmart+ deal.) There is currently a free trial of Paramount+ you can try if you want to test it out before committing to an annual subscription.

All of the Harry Potter Interactive Illustrated Editions Are on Sale for Black Friday

There are a lot of different versions of the Harry Potter books. There's the original hardcovers, paperbacks with stencilled edges, and even a full-on Hogwarts trunk filled with the books you can buy. If you're looking for a gift to buy the Potter fan in your life while Black Friday deals are on, it can be a little overwhelming to decide exactly what set of books is worth purchasing for their collection. If you're buying for someone who has already read the entire series multiple times over, however, I'd suggest going with the illustrated editions that Amazon currently has in its buy 2, get 1 free book sale today.

Surprise, surprise, though, there are actually two different illustrated editions to choose from! There's the larger hardcovers (illustrated by Jim Kay) and the interactive illustrated editions (from MinaLima). Of the two, only the interactive illustrated editions are all included in Amazon's promotion.

Harry Potter Interactive Illustrated Edition Sale

Amazon's buy 2, get 1 free sale is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is add three items to your cart and the least expensive of the three will be discounted from the final price at checkout. Since there are currently four of the illustrated interactive editions available, you'll need to choose which three to add to your cart to get the discount. Whatever you choose, you'll be looking at an additional $21 off by purchasing three at once. Since each of these books is already reduced in price, that comes out to $89.90 for the full collection of four if you buy them all at once.

As you may have noticed, only the first four books in the series have gotten the interactive illustrated treatment so far. The first three books feature illustrations and papercraft from MinaLima while the Goblet of Fire was taken over by Karl James Mountford (Illustrator) and Jess Tice Gilbert (Designer). This discrepancy between artists is due to MinaLima announcing that she wasn't going to continue with the project. The most recent edition, The Goblet of Fire, was the first new book in this line of special editions since 2023 and was released a only a month ago in October 2025. The change in artists means that there are still plans to finish giving the rest of the series the same treatment in the coming years.

What is the "Interactive" element of these illustrated editions?

I actually own all of the MinaLima editions and have had the chance to read through them myself. The interactive element here refers to papercraft hidden within the pages. These are essentially illustrations that spin, open up, or can be played with in some way. It actually makes for a really fun experience as you make your way through the story. The only issue I've had with it is that it's not really meant to be used too heavily. The paper elements are obviously quite fragile and this isn't a book that you're supposed to be reading over and over again. As a collector's item and an occasional read, however, they are pretty cool. For an idea of what to expect you can check out some of the interactive elements featured in my copy of The Sorcerer's Stone.

Is Now the Best Time to Buy These Books?

Right now, this is the best deal on these books anywhere. It's certainly possible that prices could drop further on Cyber Monday, but it's unlikely that this buy 2, get 1 free promotion will still be around by then. Amazon recently dropped a bunch of new book deals for its Black Friday sale, so this is as good as it's going to get.

That being said, Amazon's "3 for 2" sale offers a unique opportunity to save on the entire collection. Even if Amazon further discounts the individual titles, you'll most likely end up saving the same amount as you would purchasing now. This type of deal is especially great for buying full collections at once, which we've seen with the the Lord of the Rings illustrated editions and popular book box sets that are eligible for the discount.

I've Found the Best Book Deals in Amazon's Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sale for Black Friday

The Amazon Black Friday sale has been raging for over a week now, but there are still new deals dropping for actual Black Friday today. I've been tracking Amazon's massive buy 2, get 1 free sale on books all week long waiting for prices to drop a little bit more before making recommendations. Now that fresh book deals are finally here, it's time to truly dig into this sale. You can check out everything included in the promotion for yourself below or scroll down for my top picks.

The Best Books to Buy in the Sale

Because the sale is so broad, I've found the best deals are on books that come in sets and are all priced around the same. Utilizing the "3 for 2" sale this way will net you the most overall savings while providing you with a great gift set for yourself or a loved one.

Lord of the Rings Illustrated Editions

The Lord of the Rings Illustrated editions are the best deal in this whole book sale in my opinion, as long as you're a fan of Tolkien's work. These are great collector's editions that include illustrations and maps from Tolkien himself as well as the full story. The standard illustrated editions of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion are all included in the 3 for 2 sale. You can also get the deluxe editions here as well, but only two of those are included.

If you buy all three of these illustrated editions, you'll save an extra $39.78 with the added promotion. That's on top of the already great discounts Amazon has on these books. This is an incredible price for an awesome Lord of the Rings gift idea.

Harry Potter Interactive Illustrated Editions

For fans of the wizarding world, I'd recommend checking out the Harry Potter books included in this sale. These are interactive illustrated editions that include a mix of beautiful pictures as well as unique papercraft. I've actually picked up the first three MinaLima editions in a sale just like this before and the books are actually really cool. The latest entry in this series to get this illustrated edition treatment, The Goblet of Fire, is also included in the buy 2, get 1 free promo.

Book Box Sets

Another great way to get the most possible value out of the buy 2, get 1 free sale is to purchase book box sets. There are a ton of these hidden in the sale and most of them are also already discounted. If you're trying to build a book collection or just pick up a bunch of gifts for the readers in your life, this is a great way to do it for cheap. You've got Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Harry Potter, and Dune all included in the sale here just to name a few.

New Books

Although there aren't a ton of new books included in this promotion, some of the most popular releases of 2025 so far are available. There's Suzanne Collin's latest Hunger Games prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping, which is already getting a movie adaptation for 2026. Fans of the hottest new romantasy series Fae and Alchemy also get the new Callie Heart book deluxe edition as part of the discounts. You'll need to add two other eligible books to activate the promotion, but these are all a good starting point.

Children's Books

I have a toddler at home now who can't get enough books, and these sales are always an excuse for me to buy more for him. There are a ton of Dr. Seuss classics in here, including How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Cat in the Hat. There's also quite a few Eric Carle books, with Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? being the most popular. You can also find a plethora of Where's Waldo books and box sets like The Calvin and Hobbes collection.

Amazon Is Also Running an Audible Promotion

if you've never subscribed to Audible before, I'd also recommend checking out Amazon's Black Friday Audible promo. While the deal lasts you can get three months of Audible for only $0.99 cents as well as a $20 bonus credit. You get one book credit per month you can use, so signing up will basically get you The Sorcerer's Stone for only $0.99 cents. You can even use your first credit on the new full-cast Harry Potter audiobook, which I thought was excellent.

The only downside is that Amazon sets you up to auto-renew your subscription once those three months are up and will start charging you the full $14.95 per month. But as long as you cancel before then, you're fine.

As for whether or not an Audible subscription is worth it in the long run really just depends on how often you listen to audiobooks. I've had a subscription off and on over the years to listen to various things, but ultimately decided I just wasn't listening often enough to justify the cost. So deals like this one are a great way to try it out for cheap before you fully commit.

Amazon's Cyber Monday Sale Has Some Crazy Good Deals Ending Tonight

Amazon's Cyber Monday sale is nearly over with a mix of new deals and leftover discounts from Black Friday all coming to an abrupt end. I've been covering price drops and stock updates across pretty much every category on Amazon all weekend. Despite a lot of good deals going fully out of stock, there's still plenty of great savings to choose from if you're doing some last-minute shopping. If you haven't already, I'd recommend just diving right into the sale headfirst and see what you find before the sale ends. I've also rounded up some of the top deals still live tonight just below if you're looking for a more curated shopping experience.

Top Amazon Cyber Monday Deals Still in Stock Today

All of the discounts I've featured below are just straight up good Cyber Monday deals. I've had to trim this list considerably since I first started curating it thanks to almost all of Amazon's video game deals going out of stock before Black Friday. That includes gaming PC deals and GPU discounts, which you'll have to find elsewhere now. LEGO sets and iPads have also been selling very quickly as Cyber Monday comes to a close.

Nintendo Switch 2 bundles are sold out at Amazon, but here's an alternative

Unsurprisingly, the hottest item this year is the Nintendo Switch 2. There is actually a new deal on the Mario Kart World bundle for the first time ever, but it's already sold out at Amazon. With Nintendo dropping the price of its MicroSD Express card for Cyber Monday, now is the best time to buy. I recommend checking out Gamestop and Walmart, which still has stock available for the console itself.

Some really good LEGO deals are still live

Amazon dropped the bulk of its new LEGO deals on actual Black Friday when the LEGO Store launched its official sale. Since then there have been a few popular sets that have sold out, but a lot of the best deals remain. The Pac-Man Arcade set, for example, it an absolute delight and at its lowest price ever. There was also a new Cyber Monday deal on the Daily Bugle set, but it has alread sold out. Most of the Harry Potter sets are sold out now too, but you can still find those at Target.

4K Blu-rays are at all-time low prices

Amazon is arguably the best place to buy Blu-rays and and 4K movies. So it shouldn't be too surprising that it has some of the best 4K movie deals going on right now. Some of these discounts are ridiculous right now. You can get a new copy of Superman in 4K for only $12.49. Box sets have all dropped in price as well.

It's the best time to buy a Kindle in 2025

If you're in the market for an e-reader, right now is the best time to get one. All of the latest Kindle models are at their lowest prices ever. These are the same discounts we saw during Black Friday, but they are all set to end today. You can also choose to get a free Kindle Unlimited subscription with your purchase while the sale lasts.

If reading isn't really something you have time for lately, the classic Audible deal has returned and you can get that service for only $0.99 per month for the first three months. I'd definitely recommend trying that out, even to just listen to the new full-cast Harry Potter Audiobook, which I thought was actually really good.

Amazon has all of the best prices on Apple devices

We're also seeing the lowest price ever on multiple AirPods models, and good deals on MacBooks and the latest iPads. It's unlikely that prices will drop any lower than they are, even though Apple has officially kicked off its own Black Friday promotion as well, but it isn't as good as these deals. It's worth noting that Amazon has already run out of stock for the 11-inch iPad, but you can still find the deal at Walmart. The standar AirPods 4 has also sold out.

Board games are buy 2, get 1 free and discounted

If you've held out until Cyber Monday to shop all of the board game deals, you made the right choice. Amazon has just launched a 3 for 2 sale on a ton of board games that were already discounted to start with. That's savings on top of savings right there.

Unlocked Android phones are at new low prices

The best Cyber Monday phone deals, on unlocked phones atleast, are all available at Amazon. The best overall price cuts are on the latest Google Pixel 10 line, but you can also find great deals on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Z Fold 7.

The book deals are pretty good, but not amazing

In case you forgot, Amazon got its start as an online book store. It is one of the best places to buy books online, and we've seen some really good deals since Black Friday. However, the 3 for 2 sale on books has ended and the only discounts that are left are just regular price cuts. The deals are still good, but they were better last week.

PS5 consoles and accessories are still in stock at low prices

Some of the best PS5 accessories are all on sale today at great prices. And unlike the PS5 games, there seems to be enough stock left that you can still actually get them at these prices at Amazon. There was a really good DualSense Edge deal earlier today at Amazon, but stock has been completely wiped out. There are still some DualSense colors available for cheap though.

Magic: The Gathering booster packs are still in stock and on sale

There have been quite a few MTG deals during Black Friday and stock has been holding up surprisngly well on Amazon. You can currently get new 2025 releases at new all time low prices. There's gift sets available from Final Fantasy, Marve's Spider-Man, and even the latest Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover all in stock and discounted today.

Home appliance deals are the best at Amazon

Amazon's Cyber Monday sale actually has some really good deals on appliances for your home right now. You can find really great prices on air fryers and espresso machines for your kitchen as well as robot vacuums for your floors.

When Does Amazon Cyber Monday End?

Amazon's Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have been pretty much the same thing. With that being said, we know that both sales will officially end at midnight PST on December 1. Some of the Cyber Monday deals at Amazon will potentially be extended beyond that cutoff date, despite Amazon's official countdown timer saying otherwise. You can likely expect some sort of "holiday savings" event as a follow up to Cyber Monday in the leadup to Christmas.

Shop by Retailer

Best Video Game Deals

If you're looking for deals on games, our Senior Commerce Editor Robert Anderson has been all over these deals so far. Both the PlayStation and Nintendo Black Friday sales have been going on all week and some games have gone in and out of stock at various retailers. Here's the best Black Friday video game deals that are still live and where to find them:

Nintendo Switch Deals

The most notable discounts are on Mario Switch games, but there a few other really good deals in here, including tons of accessories. There aren't and new Switch 2 console deals, unfortunately, but you can still pick up the Switch 2 bundles from a few different retailers and save a little bit.

PlayStation 5 Deals

PlayStation has really done the most for Black Friday this year and pretty much everything is on sale, including a ton of popular PS5 games. Almost every DualSense controller is on sale right now, and you can even get a rare discount on the PlayStation Portal everyone seems to love. There are also console deals available on both the PS5 Pro and special edition bundles. PlayStation fans are feasting on discounts this year and the PS5 accessory deals are especially good.

Xbox Deals

The Xbox Black Friday sale hasn't been quite as good as PlayStation, but there are still a lot of discounts to be had. There are quite a few Xbox games on sale right now as well as price cuts on Xbox controllers. Unfortunately, there have yet to be any sort of console deals available.

LEGO Deals

There are a ton of great Black Friday LEGO deals going on all over the internet right now. Our official LEGO Editor Chris Reed has hand picked the best of the best. Trading Card Game Deals

There's been loads of great TCG deals in the Black Friday sales so far, but these are absolutely the favorites of our trading card game expert writers, Lloyd Coombes, and Christian Wait.

There's also Pokémon TCG deals to check out, with the Mega Venusaur ex premium collection preorders discounted at Amazon, now just $63.75. There's recent releases, like the new Superman movie, that have dropped all the way down to only $12.49. You can also get full trilogies like The Lord of the Rings or the Harry Potter movies for surprisingly cheap. And if you're into anime, be sure to also check out the collection of anime Blu-rays currently on sale as well.

PC Gaming Deals

If you're looking for PC gaming hardware deals, our Commerce Manager Eric Song has been actively looking for the best discounts all week long. There are some great prices available for PCs and gaming laptops equipped with the latest GPUs as well as massive discounts on gaming monitors. Here are the best deals we've found for each category in 2025 so far:

Gaming PCs

Some of the best discounts are on hardware direct from Lenovo and Dell, both of which are currently having their own sales. You can also find some surprisingly low prices at Walmart and Best Buy for iBuypower and CyberPowerPC gaming rigs.

Gaming Laptops

Similar to gaming PCs, almost all of the best discount here are direct from the manufacturer's own Black Friday sale. The Dell sale has the Alienware 16 Aurora for under $1,000 and Razer has the 2025 Razer Blade 14 down to its lowest price ever as well. There's also some good discounts from HP, Walmart, Lenovo, and Best Buy worth checking out.

Gaming Monitors

There are quite a few gaming monitors available, with some prominent Alienware options available directly from Dell. LG Ultragear monitors are seeing some solid price reductions across various retailers, and there are som good budget monitor options available on Amazon. Some of our favorite gaming monitors are included in this sale.

Gaming Chairs

We've found some pretty solid Black Friday gaming chair deals so far this year on some of IGN's top-reviewed gaming chairs. Our top pick, in terms of overall value, is the Razer Iskur V2 X. It's the best budget chair and is discounted an extra $50 on top of that. Both Secretlab and Andaseat also have sales live and you can save a decent chunk of change there as well.

Gaming Keyboard Deals

There are a ton of gaming keyboard deals for Black Friday this year, but only a handful we can fully recommend. Our top pick overall is the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 we reviewed earlier this year. It's a terrific keyboard at full price, so the discount just makes it even better.

Gaming Headset Deals

There are quire a few really good Black Friday gaming headset deals going on right now, with our overall favorite headset taking the top spot. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro we gave a glowing review to is getting a rare discount right and is absolutely worth picking up. There's also quite a few cheaper options currently available if you don't want to spend that much money.

Gaming Mice Deals

Our favorite Black Friday gaming mice deals so far are from various popular brands. Razer has some solid discounts here, but the best overall value comes from SteelSeries.

TV Deals

All of the best Black Friday TV deals are now live through to Cyber Monday, there are a lot of great options available right now, especially if you're looking for a good gaming TV. You can get a 77-inch LG TV for under $2,000 and receive a free soundbar right now when you buy directly through LG. There are also a handful of discounts at Best Buy and Walmart on some truly massive televisions.

Headphone Deals

The Black Friday deals on headphones are as good as it gets this year. You can currently get the latest pair of Apple AirPods for only $69, and even the recently released AirPods Pro 3 are getting discounted. For over-ear headphones, there's the Beats Studio Pro headphones that have dropped to only $150. And for top of the line, there's the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones now at the lowest price we've ever seen (outside of used models).

Phone Deals

There are a ton of really good Black Friday phone deals right now on both unlocked phones and carrier plans. All of the latest Google Pixel 10 models have dropped down to their lowest prices ever. You can also get a great price on the Galaxy S25 Ultra or either of the new foldable phones from Samsung. If you specifically want one of the new iPhone 17 models, there are also a few carrier deals available worth checking out.

Streaming Deals

All of the best streaming deals are now live for Black Friday, and our streaming expert Blythe Dujardin has been tracking them all.

Board Game Deals

There are some really good board games on sale for Black Friday today, with a spread of deals on family board games and modern classics. The latest edition of Catan is only $24.99 and a must-have for anyone starting a board game collection. There's also classics like Sorry! and Connect 4 selling for only $5 each.

Book Deals

There are a lot of individual books on sale, but the best overall book deal right now is Amazon's buy 2, get 1 free sale. Most notably, this sale includes popular box sets like The Lord of the Rings books and Harry Potter. It's worth diving into the sale yourself and just searching for the books you'd want. Some of these box sets are getting new price drops at Amazon today, so it's a great time to start shopping for your next read.

When Do Black Friday Sales End?

Black Friday start dates were pretty scattered this year, but the actual end of the sale is the same for pretty much every retailer. Black Friday sales end when Cyber Monday sales begin. That means you have until November 30 to shop the deals before the inevitable switchover to Cyber Monday happens on December 1. There are a lot of similarities between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but you can expect exclusive new deals for each sale.

Cyber Monday Deals Begin on December 1

It's true that a lot of the discounts will be the same on Cyber Monday as they were during Black Friday, but you can expect one major difference: Cyber Monday deals will mostly be online. Brick-and-morter locations like Target and Costco will only be offering these deals online. The exception to that rule is Best Buy, which will have discounts both in stores and online that day.

Tips for Black Friday Shopping Online

It may seem silly to start planning your Black Friday shopping right now, but doing so can help you save a lot of money when it comes time to actually start making purchases.

Will The Xbox Ally X Be On Sale For Black Friday This Year?

The Asus ROG Xbox Ally X has been out for over a month now, and while it is an expensive device, you probably won’t see any real discounts for Black Friday. This is thanks in large part to Asus needing to ramp up production to meet demand, because even its high price wasn’t enough to stop people from buying it, apparently.

But while you won’t be able to save a bunch of cash on the system itself, that doesn’t mean it’s not a good time to get the Xbox Ally X or load up on accessories if you already have one

How Much Does It Cost?

Unlike something like the Nintendo Switch 2, neither Asus or Microsoft offer any kind of bundle deal. Instead, you’ll be paying $999 for the Xbox Ally X or $599 for the Xbox Ally, which has a weaker chip and a white colorway, and it’s not likely either will get a Black Friday deal.

Black Friday itself isn’t here yet, of course, but at the time of writing, the only deal I can find on either system is the basic Xbox Ally for $580, $19 off of list price – but that’s only if you buy 5 units, for a total of $2,850. Not exactly what I’d call a great deal.

There is a chance that some retailer cuts the price on the Xbox Ally X, but it’s incredibly likely that you’re going to have to pay full price. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t any savings to be had.

There's Always Accessories

When you take the Xbox Ally X out of its box, you get the console itself and a charger. That is basically all you need to play games to your heart’s content, but it leaves a little to be desired if you’re going to like, take it anywhere.

One of the first things I’d recommend anyone to get with the Xbox Ally X is a case, and it just so happens that my favorite case is on sale for Black Friday. DBrand’s Killswitch Case for the Xbox Ally X is down to $59 for the basic case, but if you travel, I’d recommend getting the travel kit for $79, which comes with a little travel cover that’ll stop buttons from being pushed in your backpack. This is the case I use on the Xbox Ally X every day, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

If that case is still a little too pricey for you, the excellent JSAux Carrying Case for the Xbox Ally X is also on sale for just $22. That’s more of a carry case rather than something that’s always on the system when you’re playing it, but it’s a great pick if you need something for traveling. It even has slots for MicroSD cards if you really want to carry your entire library with you.

Save On Some Games

While the Xbox Ally X doesn’t work with physical games like the Nintendo Switch 2, that doesn’t mean you can’t save some cash on games right now. After all, because this is a Windows handheld, every storefront works, so you can take advantage of seasonal sales to pack your PC gaming library.

For instance, Steam is throwing its first ‘Black Friday’ sale ever, even if it is just a reskinned Autumn sale. Some of my favorite games to play on a handheld are included in this sale, like Risk of Rain 2, which is just $8.24 right now. Dark Souls Remastered, which runs like a dream on the Ally X, is down to just $19.99 as well. This isn’t quite at the same scale as Steam’s annual Winter Sale, but there are a ton of cheap games right now.

The Xbox Store is also having a Black Friday sale, where you can get handheld-friendly games like Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake for $35.99 or Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii for $29. Plus, you can always tack on a subscription to PC Game Pass, which remains the most affordable way to get access to the most recent Game Pass games.

It would be nice if the admittedly expensive Xbox Ally X would go on sale for Black Friday, and while it’s unfortunate, that’s probably not going to happen. But, hey, at least you can save some money on all the extra stuff that goes with it – which is good news for everyone that already bought the handheld, too.

The Harry Potter Full-Cast Audiobook Is the Best Reason to Try Audible's Black Friday Deal

I’ve read the Harry Potter books at least half a dozen times throughout my life, but it’s been a long time since my last run-through. It’s a lot easier to just turn the movies on in the background at any given time instead of actually sitting down to read the actual books. Since I’d been meaning to crack open The Sorcerer’s Stone again one of these days but just never got around to it, I was all too happy to give the new full-cast audiobook a try.

I was genuinely surprised just how much I liked the story in audiobook form. The narrator is excellent, the voice cast is stacked, and the background noises are absolutely on point for every situation. All of these things together created a depth that stirred up a similar feeling I had the first time I actually read Harry Potter cover to cover. It’s that feeling of being so fully immersed in a book that you feel like you’re actually there.

The convenience of being able to listen to a movie-like version of the book while doing chores was pretty awesome.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think reading the book is the best way to enjoy the story. But these audiobooks are a more theatrical experience, and one you can have while doing other things. The full-cast edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone took more than eight hours to listen to, but I could easily turn it on while doing the dishes or walking my dog (and totally did just that). The convenience of being able to listen to a movie-like version of the book while doing chores was pretty awesome.

I didn't fully realize what I loved about the audiobook until I got all the way through. It wasn't just that it drummed up that same nostalgia I felt when I was a kid, it's because it solved the main complaint I had when the first movie came out. If you haven't read the books in a while, you might have forgotten just how much is left out of the movies. It's impossible to fit all of the little in-between moments into a film, but I remember feeling slightly disappointed after watching The Sorcerer's Stone for the first time in theaters. Where were all of the little things I remembered from the book? The audiobook does a great job of bridging that gap, even if its only in the form of sound.

Is It Worth Getting an Audible Subscription For?

Audible launched the first full-cast Harry Potter audiobook at the beginning of November around the same time it launched its Black Friday Audible deal. This obviously isn't a coincidence, but if you are interested in listening to this I think it's absolutely worth it—especially if you've never subscribed to Audible before. While the deal lasts you can get three months of Audible for only $0.99 cents as well as a $20 bonus credit. You get one book credit per month you can use, so signing up will basically get you The Sorcerer's Stone for only $0.99 cents.

The only down side is that Amazon sets you up to auto-renew your subscription once those three months are up and will start charging you the full $14.95 per month.

Is the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller On Sale for Black Friday?

We have yet to see any Nintendo Switch 2 deals so far during Black Friday sales, but that was pretty much expected. Nintendo announced the entirety of its sale plans earlier this year and consoles weren't mentioned at all. Unfortunately, the same goes for Nintendo Switch 2 accessories. If you're looking for a discount on the new Switch 2 Pro controller, you're mostly out of luck.

I say mostly because it is actually possible to save a little bit if you don't mind buying used or going with an import model. These methods will only help you shave off a few dollars, but with how expensive the controller already is, everything helps.

Nintendo Switch 2 Controller Deals for Black Friday

Buy Used From Amazon

The first method that can get a slight price reduction is by buying used from Amazon. This does mean that you'll be buying an item that has likely been opened, so there are risks there, but a discount is a discount. It is worth noting, though, that Amazon's Resale store doesn't have any of these controllers available so you'd be buying through third-party sellers. If you don't want to risk it, you can always just buy it for full price directly from Amazon.

Get an Import Model at AliExpress

Your other option for a discount is to go with the AliExpress route and purchasing an import model. You'll need to use the coupon code AEUS12 at checkout to get the full discount, but that's easy to do. As an import model, you'll be getting a regular Switch 2 Pro controller, but in a Chinese box. AliExpress ships its products from a U.S. based warehouse, so you don't need to worry about shipping delays or tariffs jacking up the price. Since it is an import model, however, it's not the same as a straight up discount from a major retailer like Amazon, Walmart, or Best Buy.

Is a Switch 2 Pro Controller Worth It?

You don't necessarily need a Switch 2 Pro controller, but it is nice to have. I still haven't purchased one myself as I've been able to rely on the standard Joy-Cons and my older Switch Pro controller so far. With that being said, the Switch 2 Pro controller is and upgrade. Our gaming accessories expert Michael Higham did a thorough review of the controller and called it a, "premium product at a premium price." Stating that, "if you mostly play your Nintendo Switch 2 docked, getting the new Pro Controller is a layup – you’ll definitely want something better than using the new Joy-Con with the grip attachment that’s included with the console, and the C button and back buttons give folks who already have a go-to Switch controller a reason to upgrade."

Will There Be Better Black Friday Deals on Actual Black Friday This Year?

Almost all of the official Black Friday sales are already live. In fact, a lot of them actually went live last weekend. Black Friday as a sales event has continued to extend further and further every year, and it can be difficult to figure out exactly when the right time to shop is. Do you need to jump on the deals available now before they're gone? Or should you wait for a better discount to drop after Thanksgiving?

Unfortunately, there is no cut and dry answer to this question. Some of the deals live right now will probably be gone before actual Black Friday, and some will be better on the actual day. If you don't want to spend an entire week shopping for savings this year, I can help you cut through the noise.

The Friday After Thanksgiving Will Still Have the Best Deals

Lets just get this out of the way to start. Despite retailers stating that their full Black Friday sales are live, that isn't really true. Every major online retailer has released their partial Black Friday sale, with more coming later this week. That isn't to say that the current deal prices aren't worth checking out, but that, traditionally, the best deals drop on actual Black Friday because that's when most people will do the bulk of their shopping. Some retailers have already released ads that prove more deals are on their way.

Target released its Black Friday ad recently

Perhaps the most obvious indicator that better deals are scheduled for November 28 is that Target has flat out said so. In its latest Black Friday sales ad, Target has stated that more discounts will be arriving on Friday and hours earlier for Target Circle 360 members. While it hasn't given that many specifics about what will be on sale, we know that LEGO sets will be 40% off and a ton of clothing and outerwear will be 40% off as well. This announcement came alongside Target launching its official Black Friday sale on sale over the weekend.

Costco released a Black Friday ad almost a month ago

The Costco Black Friday sale has been happening pretty much all month long, but we've known for a while that the best discounts at Costco would come on Thanksgiving. That's because Costco released its full Black Friday schedule and holiday ad back in October. Outside of its regularly scheduled sale, it'll offer online-only discounts on November 27 that will then be available in stores on Black Friday. You can check out the full ad scan for those sale dates below to see what's coming tomorrow.

Best Buy Is Doing Doorbuster Fridays

Best Buy has been offering discounts since Halloween, but its official sale didn't kick off until November 20 this year. Every Friday since that first sale went live, Best Buy has been dropping new "Doorbuster" deals on tech that haven't regularly been a part of its sale. You can expect the retailer to do this same thing again on Black Friday this year, but with a lot more gusto. So while there are already some good deals in the Best Buy sale, the best ones are still probably arriving this Friday.

The LEGO Black Friday Sale Starts on Friday

Despite most sales already going live, the LEGO Store Black Friday sale doesn't launch until actual Black Friday. The plastic brick company did offer its usual Insider's Weekend sale just a few days ago, but the official sale that will be available to all will be taking place on November 28. Alongside these discount, LEGO has confirmed that it will be launching its annual Black Friday set, which is the U.S.S Enterprise from Star Trek this year.

Amazon and Walmart Will Price Match New Deals

Of all of the Black Friday sales every year, Walmart and Amazon tend to have the biggest overall offerings. The simple explanation for this is that they have the largest stock of everything and can price match deals across the web. Amazon launched its Black Friday sale on November 20 this year and has been copying whatever new deals arrive whenever they do. As an example, Target launched a "3 for 2" sale on November 23 and Amazon pretty quickly launched its own 3 for 2 sale at the same time. And yesterday, Walmart dropped some great Apple deals that Amazon quickly copied. There are some exceptions to this, but generally speaking, if we know other retailers are lauching better deals on Friday, then so will Amazon and Walmart.

What Deals Should You Shop Right Now?

It's true that bigger and better discounts will arrive starting tomorrow, but some deals you'll want to snap up now while stock lasts, like Black Friday video game deals. These discounts are mostly regulated by the actual gaming companies and have been going pretty fast. The PlayStation Black Friday deals launched on November 21 and the Nintendo Black Friday deals started on November 23. Because stock is limited on things like physical games and the deals are incredibly popular, we're already seeing stuff sell out at Amazon and other retailers.

Nintendo Switch Deals Are Going Fast

All of the Nintendo discounts are live and we're already seeing stuff sell out at Amazon. Most notably both Super Mario Odyssey and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door are now only available at Walmart and will likely be gone before Black Friday proper. There's also the Nintendo Switch 2 bundles, which aren't on sale at all, but are still incredibly popular ahead of the holidays. If you're planning on picking up the new console, you'll want to do it as soon as possible.

PlayStation Deals Are Also Selling Quickly

The PlayStation deals this year haven't been as popular as Nintendo, but the discounts are currently as good as they're going to get. Most of the items available aren't at that high a risk of selling out, although some discounted PS5 games are no longer available at Amazon. And among DualSense controller deals going on right now, the limited-edition ones that will probably go out of stock before Cyber Monday or earlier. Limited-edition console bundles also tend to sell out faster at these lower prices than a standard PS5.

Xbox Deals Are Limited

This year's round of Xbox Black Friday deals has been fairly disappointing so far. There are some game discounts available, but only a few of the Xbox controllers are on sale. And there are absolutely no Xbox console deals this year to speak of. That's a bummer considering Xbox raised its prices multiple times in 2025, but it is what it is.

Some of the best Xbox controller deals have come and gone (including the recent Xbox Elite Series 2 deal), so if you are looking for a discount there you'll want to act quickly. Most of the Xbox video game discounts have stuck around, however, so you should be find to pick those up any time over the weekend.

The ESPN Unlimited Bundle Is the Only Good Cyber Monday Streaming Deal for Sports

The Black Friday and Cyber Monday streaming deals have all officially arrived, but there's a significant shortage of sports streaming services participating in this year's discounts. The lack of deals comes after a rather tumultuous month for live sports streaming. Disney and Google got into a bit of a legal battle over ESPN channels, and YouTube TV subscribers had to deal with an outage for almost half of November before an agreement was reached.

Disney's ongoing battle for supremacy in the world of sports streaming isn't new, and it has only been further amplified since it launched ESPN Unlimited earlier this year. The new direct-to-consumer ESPN service has had a big draw so far, largely because the price is actually really good. Even months after launch, the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundle price is still the best sports streaming deal around.

ESPN Unlimited Cyber Monday Deal

The new ESPN Unlimited bundle is only $29.99 per month and includes subscriptions to both Hulu and Disney+. This price is available for the first 12 months of your subscription and will increase to $35.99 per month after that time period is up. That price makes this one of the best streaming bundles available anywhere, and by far the cheapest way to watch sports. Live TV services like YouTube TV and DirecTV have starting costs around $80 or more, so this is a great option for anyone who wants to cut down their monthly streaming bill.

More Cyber Monday Streaming Deals

If you're looking for more Cyber Monday deals on streaming subscriptions, most of them are already live. The most notable discounts are actually on other Hulu bundles. You can pick up 12 months of the Disney+ and Hulu bundle for only $4.99 per month. It isn't quite as good of a deal as last year, but that's not too surprising after recent price hikes on these services.

Outside of the realm of Disney, there are also individual discounts on Crunchyroll Premium, Apple TV+, and HBO Max. The HBO Max deal is by far the most generous with an offer of $2.99 per month for a full year. You can also choose HBO Max as an add-on for your Hulu subscription for the same price if you want to bundle services together.

All of these Cyber Monday streaming deals are set to end at midnight on December 1, so this is your last chance to take advantage of these discounts in 2025.

Amazon vs. Walmart: Which Black Friday Sale Has Better Deals?

Walmart has officially launched its Black Friday sale, which means every major retailer is now offering a full selection of discounts. We're still a few days away from actual Black Friday, but if you're looking to do your shopping right now, you have tons of options available to you. Too many options, honestly.

I've been covering Black Friday sales since October when Best Buy first launched its early deals, but it's only now that I'd recommend actually doing the bulk of your deals shopping. Walmart was the last holdout, and now that its sale is here, it's worth digging into where you can actually find the best deals.

Amazon vs. Walmart Black Friday Sales Comparison

Walmart Has the Best New Deals

I don't really do much shopping at Walmart outside of Black Friday, but I have to admit that the retailer does consistently have some of the best Black Friday deals every year. More specifically, Walmart launched its sale with discounts on select Apple products and video games that, frankly, can't be beat. Amazon has price-matched a number of new discounts that Walmart just launched, including a number of LEGO deals, but for the most part this sale has discounts you simply can't find anywhere else. This has been especially true for things like Nvidia 50-series GPUs, which Walmart has been better about keeping in stock. There are even exclusive products like the Icon Blue PS5 Dualsense controller that is both exclusive to Walmart and on sale right now.

Walmart's Black Friday sale is scheduled to last from now through November 30 before switching to Cyber Monday deals. I'd expect there to be more deals dropping on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, especially for things like high-end TVs, but in the meantime here are some of the best discounts worth checking out today.

Amazon Has the Most Black Friday Deals

The Amazon Black Friday sale – which first launched last Thursday and has been adding new deals pretty much every time a new sale elsewhere goes live – is by far the biggest one available. Amazon has all of the PlayStation Black Friday deals and Nintendo Black Friday deals that went live over the weekend, with the exception of a few individual games. The Super Mario Odyssey deal, for example, went out of stock at Amazon pretty quickly and is now only available at Target and Walmart. With that in mind, I'd say Amazon is generally the best Black Friday sale online, as long as it can maintain its stock with popular items. It's also hands-down the best place to buy Amazon-owned devices and services like Kindle e-readers or an Audible premium subscription.

The sheer size of Amazon's sale makes it the easiest to shop overall, which is really the draw. It's easy to search for discounts and almost everything that's on sale will be at the lowest price you can find online. Because of how connected it is to other online sales, Amazon is the most likely to have new discounts starting on actual Black Friday. Target has already stated that another round of Black Friday deals are set to drop on November 28, and Amazon has matched pretty much everything Target has done so far.

Which Black Friday Sale Should You Shop First?

As part of IGN's Deals team, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't recommend you shop around before you buy anything. But with that in mind, I'd recommend starting your shopping at Amazon first. You can't really beat the convenience of Amazon when it comes to online shopping, and the fact that the retailer automatically tries to price-match most items makes it a good starting point. Walmart definitely has some really good deals, but once you start utilizing the search function it becomes a lot harder to discern what is actually a Black Friday deal and what's just a third-party listing for a product or a refurbished item.

The exception to this is that even though Amazon has pretty much everything, it doesn't actually have everything. Some of the best Black Friday sales are available directly from manufacturers rather than major retailers. For example, if you're hoping to buy a Dell laptop this week, your best bet is to shop the Dell Black Friday sale directly rather than go through Amazon. The same applies to most major brands, with the exception of Apple's Black Friday sale, which is actually quite lame.

Black Friday 2025: The Best Early Sales and When to Expect More Deals

Black Friday deals have arrived. It's the biggest shopping holiday of the year and overall the best time to find discounts on just about everything. If you're hoping to save some money on gifts and essentials in 2025, these upcoming (and current) sales events are your best bet. With that in mind, Black Friday has evolved well beyond a single day of deals, and almost all of the sales are live right now ahead of actual Black Friday.

Black Friday Sales Live Today - November 25

Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy have all launched their official Black Friday sales. You can also start shopping the full PlayStation Black Friday sale if you're looking for discounts on games, consoles, or gaming accessories.

When Does Every Black Friday Sale Actually Start?

Black Friday is November 28 this year, but both almoast every major retailer has already dropped their official Black Friday sales. There are still more deals going live starting next week and you can check out the full schedule of start dates below. We expect more discounts to arrive on actual Black Friday, according to Target's full Black Friday ad.

For many brick-and-mortar stores, you can already start shopping the Black Friday sales. This includes Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Costco. Some sales will still only take place on actual Black Friday, like at the LEGO Store or for Apple's Black Friday sale, but for the most part the discounts will start ahead of then.

When does Cyber Monday start?

Cyber Monday lands on December 1 this year, we expect the official Cyber Monday deals to start dropping a little bit earlier than that. In the past, retailers like Walmart have started offering early Cyber Monday savings on Sunday afternoon while people are still searching for Black Friday discounts. This means you'll most likely be able to begin shopping Cyber Monday deals at some point on November 30 this year. Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are pretty much the same thing these days, so it shouldn't matter too much if you start shopping early.

What Deals to Expect From Major Retailers

With the ongoing tariffs and recent price increases in the U.S., being prepared with where you plan on doing your shopping this year can really help you sve. The IGN Deals team has been covering shopping events all year and we have a decent idea of what you can expect as the sales continue rolling in, even if the prices will be higher than what we saw last year.

Amazon Black Friday - Live Now

The Amazon Black Friday sale has now gone live with tons of deals on just about everything. Most notably, Amazon devices have dropped to their lowest prices of they year. Fire TV sticks went on sale earlier this week for all models, and Kindle e-readers have also dropped to new all-time lows for Black Friday. Other devices, like Echo Speakers and home security devices are also on sale now through Cyber Monday. Amazon is also currently offering discounts on its services, like Kindle Unlimited and Audible.

Outside of Amazon's own devices, there are also a ton of new electronics deals. Most notably there has been priced drops on 4K TVs and Cyberpower gaming PCs that are the lowest of the year. Amazon has also dropped prices on the Apple AirPods Pro 3 now that both Best Buy and Walmart have brought forth that discount.

Amazon has also started offering a resale coupon of up to 30% on used items. This is a similar discount that we saw during Prime Big Deal days earlier this year and is a great opportunity to save on slightly used items. Within this promotion we've alread found a massive discount on Sony's best noise-cancelling headphones.

Best Buy Black Friday - Live Now

The Best Buy Black Friday sale is now live with early deals. Many of these discounts are being price-matched by Amazon and Walmart, but it will still likely have all of the same Apple devices, TVs, and video games on sale as everywhere else from now until actual Black Friday. That includes video game consoles like the PS5 Pro.

In addition to consoles, video games, and video game accessories, Best Buy also tends to be one of the best places to buy handheld gaming PCs and laptops. With the recent release of the ROG Xbox Ally X, Best Buy has been the only retailer to keep stock. You can likely expect price cuts on the previous generation ROG Ally devices at Best Buy this year, as well as other popular handhelds. We also expect competitive pricing around newer laptops with the latest 50-series GPUs.

For more information on what to expect, check out the Best Buy Black Friday ad from last year. Best Buy has been having new doorbuster deals dropping every friday since Halloween this year, but the official sale kicks is now live as of November 20.

Target Black Friday - Live Now

The Target Black Friday sale is now live and features a ton of discounts on games, tech, and toys. The most notable inclusions in Target's Black Friday sale are the BOGO sales on physical media, board games, and toys. Amazon has tried to price match some of these deals, but hasn't gotten to all of them just yet.

Outside of the good deals on toys and games, Target is offering 30% off select LEGO sets. One suche discount includes the popular Willy Wonka LEGO set that launched earlier this year. These discounts are fairly limited, but Target has stated int it's full Black Friday ad taht 40% discounts on LEGO sets will be arriving on November 28.

The next round of Target Black Friday deals is set to arrive on November 27 for Target Circle 360 members and actual Black Friday for everyone else.

Walmart Black Friday - Live Now

Walmart's official Black Friday sale is now live and will run through November 30 this year. Walmart was the last major retailer to launch its official sale, and it has brought some of the best discounts of the season so far.

The most notable price drops from Walmart so far are on Apple accessories. This includes AirPods 4 for only $69 and an Apple Pencil for only $49. There are also a ton of really good deals on video games that we haven't seen anywhere else so far, as well as some surprising new discounts on LEGO sets.

It's unclear if Walmart is planning on launching any more new deals, but you can currently shop all of these discounts both in stor and online. Walmart's Cyber Monday sale will be going live on December 1 and we expect to see new discounts then.

Costco Black Friday - Starts November 17

Costco is a bit of a wildcard during the Black Friday season as it offers deals on pretty much everthing. For 2025, the full Costco Black Friday schedule has already been revealed and you can already see what deals to expect. Included in the holiday booklet there steep discounts on furniture, jewelry, and electronics. The same discounts you find at Amazon for select TVs and video games will likely also be available at Costco even if they aren't featured in the ad. You can also expect steeper warehouse discounts, like on the Kirkland Signature jewelry or various furniture items that are only featured for a limited time.

In addition to things like toys, gifts, and household items, Costco usually has some pretty decent grocery deals during the holiday season. You can usually find these ahead of Thanksgiving on things like turkey, snacks, and various other items. You will still need to buy in bulk, but the stacked savings on top of that are usually worth it.

For more information on what to expect this year, check out the expansive Costco Black Friday ad for 2025.

Wayfair Black Friday - Now Live

Other major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, and Target will all have discounts on furniture as part of their Black Friday sales. But the overall largest discounts on furniture will be at Wayfair during this time. Wayfair consistently has the best furniture deals anywhere during the holiday season and you should be able to find a good deal on just about everything you can purchase for your home.

As for what specific discounts to expect, we can check out the Wayfair early Black Friday sale to get a better idea. On average you can save around 50% on chairs, tables, rugs, decor, and even pool tables. These discounts will sometimes be locked to a specific color or material type, and sometimes you'll be able to find steeper discounts on overtock items if you dig deep enough. The early access sale is happening right now and we expect the main Black Friday sale to replace that with more deals sometime before Thanksgiving.

eBay Black Friday

eBay is still the Wild West when it comes to tracking down deals. There are plenty of bargains to be found, but a fair amount of research is required to be able to identify them from the other listings masquerading as deals. Most deals won't be discounted during Black Friday, however eBay will likely offer a sitewide coupon code - typically anywhere between 15% and 30% off - that will work on thousands of items from tech, apparel, sporting goods, home improvement, and more. General eBay codes will always be advertised on eBay's Deals page. Currently eBay is offering a 20% off coupon code "TECH4THEM" that works on over 2,500 refurbished items including the Meta Quest 3 and LG Evo C5 OLED TVs.

Barnes & Noble

Although Barnes & Noble doesn't offer the same level of deals as a retailer like Amazon, it's still one of the best places to buy books and toys during Black Friday season. It's also pretty easy to predict what Barnes & Noble's Black Friday sale will look like because it's always fairly similar. You can expect 50% off select books and Blu-rays as well as some surprisingly good deals on LEGO sets. There's also a pretty decent gift card deal going on already that gets you $10 of credt for every $100 you spend on gift cards.

The real question is what books and toys will actually be included in those sales. You can take a look at last year's Barnes & Noble Black Friday sale for an idea of what to expect in 2025.

GameStop Black Friday

GameStop has officially revealed its Black Friday sale for 2025 and it looks very similar to what Nintendo and PlayStation have already released. Alongside a Black Friday ad, there are also early Black Friday deals going on through November 22 that bring new discounts on PS5 and Nintendo Switch games.

As for what to expect from the main sale, it's primarily more PlayStation and Switch game deals. This includes older Switch games as well as some newer releases like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. There will also be a $20 discount on the PlayStation Portal and price cuts on most DualSense controllers.

You can find the full preview of deals directly from the GameStop Black Friday ad. There's a helpful post on the Black Friday subreddit that shows you the full scan as well.

What to Buy on Black Friday This Year

Black Friday is the best time to buy most things online or in stores, but there are some items that get significantly bigger discounts during this time. If you're looking to save as much money as possible during Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year, here a few product categories that we expect will massive discounts this year.

TVs and Monitors

The best time to buy a TV or a new gaming monitor is without a doubt Black Friday season. This has been the case since Black Friday first became a thing and will long continue to be a trend we see repeated in the years to come. There are cheap TVs and monitors available pretty much year-round, but it's during this time of year that we see the steepest discounts on newer models. The popular LG C-Series TVs, for example, have already started dropping in price ahead of November. Many of these brands are not affectd by U.S. tariffs as well, so we likely won't see the same markup we're seeing on other products this year. If you don't know where to start your search this year, we recommend taking a look at our Black Friday TV buying guide for everything you need to know before the sales start this year.

If you're looking for early deals, there's currently a 100-inch LG Hisense Mini-LED TV that has dropped to its lowest price of the year. Samsung has also dropped the price of the 65-inch S90F 4K OLED TV to its lowest price ever as well.

Video Game Consoles

While you shouldn't expect discounts on the new Nintendo Switch 2 or the Xbox, we atleast know that PS5 consoles are getting discounted. PlayStation has officially launched its Black Friday sale for 2025, which includes $100 off PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. These discounts are notable due to consoles seeing price increases across the board in 2025.

The PS5 models got a price hike back in August and Xbox has already raised its prices twice this year. Even older consoles are getting a price increase as the original Nintendo Switch also got more expensive with the release of the Switch 2. If you are still planning on buying a console in 2025, Black Friday is the only time you should do it. You can check out what Xbox Black Friday deals are now live for an idea about Microsoft's offerings this year.

Accessories and Video Games

Outside of consoles themselves, Black Friday's also a great time to pick up any accessories. We're already seeing early price drops on the DualSense Edge controller as well as a spread of Xbox controllers. PlayStation has also discounted the PSVR2 headset to match its lowest price ver as well.

And, of course, this is one of the best times to find discounts on games. This is especially true if you're looking to buy actual physical games as Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart will all have some sort of sale worth checking out. Most notably, PS5 game deals have already started and the discounts are really quite good. The Nintendo Black Friday sale has already launched with a ton of deals on Switch games worth checking out as well.

Some of the more specific early game discounts include Final Fantasy games, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and Borderlands 4. We expect more games to go live around actual Black Friday, but the bulk of the discounts are now available.

Toys and LEGO Sets

Due to its proximity to Christmas, Black Friday is undoubtedly the best time to buy LEGO sets and other toys. In all of the previews we have gotten so far (from Walmart, Amazon, and Costco), toys are heavily featured in those discounts. In fact, we've already seen a 40% discount on some of the most popular LEGO sets at Target. That doesn't necessarily mean every type of toy or LEGO set will get discounted, but you can expect to see price cuts on items that haven't gone on sale all year during this time. You can find out more about what LEGO deals to expect from our LEGO expert, Chris Reed.

If you're on the lookout for early deals, Best Buy has kicked off some LEGO deals as part of its first Black Friday offerings of 2025. The LEGO store has also launched its Insider's Weekend sale, which includes discounts on sets and exclusive gifts with purchase. And finally, the best overall discount we've seen so far is 30% off the LEGO Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory set at Target.

Apple Products

Although Apple has revealed its Black Friday sale for November 28, the best Apple deals are at Amazon and other retailers. Black Friday is always the best time to buy a new iPad, AirPods, Apple Watches, and pretty much all other iOS accessories. Major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy will all be competing for the lowest price on the latest devices and we usually see the lowest prices all year on the latest Apple releases. This season is also a generally good time to buy an iPhone as most carriers will start offering their holiday promotions in November for the new iPhone 17 models.

There are quite a few early Apple deals available, including a price cut on iPads at Amazon Resale that is worth a look. Best Buy also launched a deal on the Apple AirPods Pro 3 that has been price matched at Amazon and Walmart as well.

Gaming Laptops and PCs

Black Friday has always been one of the best times to buy a new gaming PC or laptop. In 2025 this is especially true as we're finally starting to see the first discounts on prebuilt machines with 50-series GPUs included. Major retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart will usually have at least one really good deal over the holiday weekend worth checking out. You can also expect significant discounts direct from manufacturers like Dell, Lenovo, and HP that are just as good if not better than what we've seen all year long. Dell has already launched its Black Friday sale for 2025, but we expect better discounts to arrive next week closer to actual Black Friday.

There are already some early deals available ahead of the event, including the first price cut on the Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop and some pretty substantial discounts on Nvidia 50-series GPUs for anyone looking to build a PC themselves.

Phones

Black Friday is by far the best time to buy a new phone. This is mostly because we see all of the biggest discounts around this time, but it's also thanks to the release schedules of new phones. Both Google and Apple launch their new flagship phones in the fall and it's around November that we start seeing prices drop on new and previous generation phones.

If you're looking for deals on unlocked phones, some of those discounts have already begun. There was a great deal on a Google Pixel 10 smartphone earlier in the month and Amazon has brought it back. We also expect the Samsung Galaxy phones to get similar discount closer to actual Black Friday.

Books, Comics, and Manga

Any physical media collectors will definitely have a great opportunity to stock their shelves during Black Friday. Amazon often runs BOGO or '3 for 2' promotions on books, movies, and even board games. The 3 for 2 sale popped up last Black Friday and returned briefly a couple of weeks ago before disappearing oncea again. Now that Black Friday week has officially begun, Amazon has brought back this deal for box sets, including the popular Witcher box set. It's also available as part of Target's latest sale.

If you're on the e-reader wave, Kindle Unlimited, a solid platforms for comics, is set to have its usual "three months for $0.99 sake according to Amazon's sneak peek. Audible, the audiobook haven, has already launched a "three months for $3" deal that will last through December. Otherwise, individual physical media deals will pop up across more tailored retailers like, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million. Expect price drops on classics as well as the newest book releases up to 65% and even bigger discounts one ebooks.

Streaming Services

Regardless of what streaming services you're subscribed to, I'm willing to bet you encountered a price hike at one point or another in 2025. To cut down on subscription costs, I recommend stocking up whenever there's a discount. One of the only guaranteed times to see streaming discounts is Black Friday.

Last year's Black Friday streaming deals included a 70% discount on Hulu as well as the Hulu bundle with Disney+. HBO Max dropped to $2.99/month, while Peacock offered a full annual subscription for just $19.99. While prices may not drop as low after this year's price hikes, there's still a solid spread of streaming services I expect will offer their best deals of the year. The only exception? Netflix.

We've already started seeing some early streaming deals on Crunchyroll, a discount on Apple TV, and the official HBO Max Black Friday deal. We still expect more deals to arrive later this week.

4Ks and Blu-rays

The alternative to streaming discounts is physical media deals. These are the ones you actually get to keep forever, and Black Friday is certainly one of the best times to add to your DVD collection. The Criterion Collection Black Friday sale has already kicked off at Barnes & Noble with a sweeping 50% discount. Gruv already has a Black Friday sale that will get you three 4K movies for $30 you can take advantage of and Superman in 4K is already getting a discount as part of Gruv's 4K sale on new movies. Amazon has also dropped a massive discount on the Friends 4K box set as well as a bunch of anime Blu-rays as part of its official sale.

Amazon has also officially kicked off its popular buy 2, get 1 free 4K movie sale and you can take advantage of all of those deals right now. The sale came shortly after Target launched something similar.

TCG Products

It's not a secret that TCG pricing has gotten pretty out of control. The biggest suspect here is Pokemon, but with new licensing (looking at you, Universes Beyond) and ongoing issues with scalpers, we've also seen progressively higher prices on Magic: The Gathering and Disney Lorcana. Black Friday will likely feature a spread of discounts on TCG products, but it's worth doing your research on the MSRP of individual boosters or bundles to make sure you're getting an actual deal.

We'll likely see some of the more recent product releases back in stock with small discounts on Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Amazon is also currently offering a $60 gift card promotion for new Amazon credit card sign-ups. TCGPlayer will have some form of Black Friday sale, most likely replicating their 10% store credit promotion from 2024.

In the meantime, there are already quite a few Magic: The Gathering deals available for Black Friday. These include discounts on the recently released Avatar: The Last Airbender packs as well as the popular Final Fantasy commander decks.

Furniture

Furniture is one of those things that goes on sale during pretty much every major sales event throughout the year. However, Black Friday is really the only time that every retailer will have furniture sales. The biggest major sales will be at furniture outlets like Wayfair, but you'll also be able to find some big savings at online retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target. All of the major mattress and furniture warehouses have likely already started some sort of sale ahead of Black Friday.

During actual Black Friday some of the best deals will likely be on office and gaming furniture that doesn't usually see steep discounts. The Secretlab Black Friday sale live right now, for example, is usually one of the best times of year to buy gaming chairs and gaming desks at decent prices. If you want something cheap, you'll want to check out the outlets, but if you want something good you should go straight to the manufacturers website.

Board Games

Black Friday is consistently one of the best times to buy board games every year. You'll usually find the best overall discounts at Amazon and Target, rather than your local tabletop store, and those discounts are usually fairly substantial. Popular family games will usually drop under $15 or less during the peak sales times while massive strategy games tend to see 50% price cuts for the first time all year. If you have a board game in mind you want to buy, this is likely the time of year to get it for cheap.

There's even a surprisingly good deal going on at Amazon right now that can help you save that 50% a little bit early. The promotion is a buy 1, get 1 50% off sale on board games, puzzles, and a few other items. It's also going on at Target and is set to last through the weekend. You can check out our guide on what board game deals to expect this year for more info.

What Won't Go on Sale This Year

Black Friday is the best time to buy pretty much everything, but that doesn't mean everything will go on sale. There are some products that won't see any discounts at all simply because they are too new or demand is just too high. This is particularly true when it comes to things like tech and popular toys. For example Nintendo just launched the Switch 2 this year and there's very little chance we'll see any Black Friday deals on the new console outside of bundles that already exist. The same thing goes for the recently released Xbox Ally X, which has very little chance of receiving a discount so soon after launch. In fact, it doesn't look like any Xbox consoles will be getting discounts this year, which is quite the surprise.

When it comes to toys, don't expect discount on anything that has come out in the last few months. This is especially true for new LEGO releases as we usually don't see discounts on those until six months or more after the initial release date.

Finally, while we do expect there to be streaming deals on most Streaming services, we know for certain Netflix won't be offering any sort of discount. Netflix has a long history off not offering any sort of discount on its service, and with the final season of Stranger Things on the horizon it seems even less likely.

Tips for Black Friday Shopping Online

It may seem silly to start planning your Black Friday shopping right now, but doing so can help you save a lot of money when it comes time to actually start making purchases.
