A South Carolina man scheduled to be executed on Jan. 31 by lethal injection is requesting a delay until more information is gathered about the drug that will kill him.

Active-duty military personnel began arriving along the southern border Thursday evening after President Donald Trump declared a national emergency to address the immigration crisis.
