Intel Extreme Masters is kicking off for 2025 and the first event, taking place in Katowice, is just around the corner. Acer Predator Gaming has re-signed as the official hardware partner for IEM Katowice in 2025. The event, which will see 24 teams competing in a series of tournaments, will have a watch party here in the UK for those who can't make the trip to Poland.

Predator Gaming is giving away a VIP experience for two, complete with tickets, travel, accommodation and some spending cash for your stay. As part of the IEM Katowice promotion, Acer is also bundling a free Predator Controller, worth £69.99, with all purchases of Predator Gaming laptops or desktops up until February 16th. These controllers are wireless and come equipped with hall effect joysticks and analogue triggers, guaranteeing accurate and responsive controls.

Some Predator gaming systems worth taking a look at include the Predator Triton Neo 16 and Helios Neo 16 gaming laptops. The former is perfect for esports titles like Apex Legends and Fortnite, with prices starting from £1499. The Helios comes equipped with RTX 30 series graphics, capable of running AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty. For a reliable desktop, the Predator Orion 5000 offers Intel Core i9 CPUs and RTX 30 graphics, with prices starting at £1799.

IEM Katowice 2025 takes place at the Spodek Arena starting on Febrary 7th. A Spring LAN tournament is scheduled for April, and there will be more tournaments throughout the year with more details to come.
