"NASA bureaucrats were racking up an astronomical tab doing union time on the taxpayers’ dime," Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), whose office requested the data, told The Post.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act is intended to be Trump's signature legislative achievement of the year and possibly his second term in office, serving as an "everything bill" of sorts for conservative wishlist policy items.

"It is possible to both mourn the deaths of recently passed Democratic members of Congress and acknowledge that there is a fundamentally broken incentive structure in the party when it comes to aging," a Democratic congressional staffer told The Post.
