The U.S. has a political violence problem. Last month, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah. This month, a man armed with incendiary devices was arrested outside a Washington, D.C. cathedral prior to a mass frequented by Supreme Court justices. In separate incidents this week, a Texas man was charged for allegedly threatening the lives of conservative figures while a pardoned January 6 rioter was arrested for similar threats against Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
