Vivian Bercovici: Is this the end of Iran’s vicious regime?

Attack sirens wailed in every corner of Israel at 3 am on Friday morning, including the isolated kibbutz in the south where I live. This was followed immediately by an ear-splitting screech that overrode every Israeli cell phone. It was followed by a message from the Home Front Command. The screech and message were unprecedented. Emma Teitel: Simone Biles was right to call out the bullying of children

Earlier this month, American gymnastics superstar Simone Biles did what no PR professional, therapist or friend would recommend, even to their own worst enemy: she weighed in on the so-called transgender debate on social media. Smith spoke with National Post about what economic self-determination means, how the First Nation balances growth with cultural preservation, and what others can learn from their experience. U.S. President Donald Trump’s repeated attacks on Canada’s economy and sovereignty have changed the nature of our bilateral relationship. You can feel it when the crowd joins in the singing of O Canada at Rogers Place when the Edmonton Oilers play, and you can see it in the grocery aisle when a customer picks Hawkins Cheezies over Cheetos. Head of Revolutionary Guard killed in Israel attack on Iran’s nuclear program

Israel attacked Iran’s capital early Friday in strikes that targeted the country’s nuclear program and raised the potential for an all-out war between the two bitter Middle East adversaries. It appeared to be the most significant attack Iran has faced since its 1980s war with Iraq, with multiple sites around the country hit. Read More
