Emmy-Winning Director Frederick E.O. Toye to Helm First Episodes of Prime’s God of War Series

Emmy-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye is on deck to direct the opening pair of episodes of God of War, according to Deadline. Pre-production for the Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM show is reportedly underway now in Vancouver.

God of War has received a two-season order.

Toye joins the much-anticipated project alongside showrunner Ronald D. Moore, a veteran of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Battlestar Galactica, amongst others.

Toye is a prolific TV director with a long list of credits dating back two decades, stretching from episodes of Lost, Alias, and Fringe through to The Good Wife, Person of Interest, Designated Survivor, and Westworld, and to recent high-profile hits like The Boys, Fallout, The Terminal List, and The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Toye also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for his contribution to the first season of the 10 out of 10 FX series Shōgun.

Little is currently known about the God of War show, which was first revealed to be in the pipe back in 2022. However, it is clear that it will be unsurprisingly based on 2018's God of War (followed by God of War Ragnarök in 2022), which revamped the series and pivoted from being rooted in Greek myth to a focus on Norse mythology.

The original God of War was first released on PS2 back in 2005.

Splinter Cell Remake’s Original Director Returns to the Project After Leaving in 2022

The original director of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell remake, David Grivel, has returned to recommence his role as director on the game after leaving Ubisoft in 2022.

Grivel confirmed the news himself in a post on LinkedIn (via GamesRadar).

“Today, I am very, very happy to announce that I’m rejoining Ubisoft Toronto as Game Director on the Splinter Cell Remake!” wrote Grivel, noting the team and project are very special to him.

Grivel previously worked at Ubisoft for just over a decade, from 2011 to 2022. Prior to his brief initial tenure as director on the Splinter Cell remake he contributed as a game designer on a variety of projects, including Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5.

Grivel rejoins Ubisoft after a stint at Ridgeline Games working on the campaign mode for Battlefield 6, until EA abruptly shuttered the studio in early 2024.

The Splinter Cell remake, which was first announced way back in late 2021, has been skulking around in the dark for many years now. Little information about the game has made its way into the light during that time, although we do know the story of the 2002 original is set to be updated to be “more authentic and believable” to a modern-day audience.

Fast & Furious’ Justin Lin to Direct Helldivers Movie

Justin Lin is set to direct the upcoming film adaptation of Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lin is best known for his work on a number of Fast & Furious movies, and was the director of the series from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006 until Fast & Furious 6 in 2013.

It won’t mark the first time Lin has set his sights on outer space, as he also directed Star Trek Beyond in 2016 – and later returned to the Fast & Furious series to direct 2021’s F9 (in which he sent Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson into literal orbit in a 1984 Pontiac Fiero).

The Helldivers movie has been written by Gary Dauberman, the writer of several Annabelle films and The Nun – as well as the co-writer of 2017’s It and the writer of its 2019 sequel, It Chapter Two.

Sony Pictures’ and PlayStation Productions’ Helldivers movie was announced early this year at Sony’s CES 2025 press conference. The project comes in the wake of the immense success of Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2, which became PlayStation’s fastest-selling game of all time following its initial launch in February 2024, selling over 12 million copies in its first 12 weeks on sale.

Heavily inspired by Paul Verhoeven’s vision for 1997 sci-fi cult classic Starship Troopers, Helldivers 2 is “the rare modern multiplayer game that does almost everything right” by boasting a ton of freedom and a smart progression system that doesn’t nickel and dime players, according to IGN’s review.

After originally arriving on PlayStation 5 and PC, Helldivers 2 also came to Xbox Series X|S in August, 2025.

Lenovo Just Brought Back Its Best Black Friday Gaming PC Deal for the Final Hours of Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday is hitting its twilight moment, but that hasn't stopped Lenovo from bringing back its best Black Friday gaming PC deal. Right now you can score a Lenovo Legion Tower 5 RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC for just $1,492.49 after you stack two coupons: "EXTRAFIVE" and "LENOVOHOLIDEAL". Free delivery is included. This was the lowest price for an RTX 5070 Ti prebuilt desktop when it first went on sale, and no other deal since then has been able to beat it!

Lenovo Legion RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC for $1,492.49

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 gaming PC is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, 32GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. According to the product page, the processor is equipped with a 240mm liquid cooler, which is a rare upgrade for a Legion Tower 5 series. An 850W 80Plus Gold power supply provides plenty of power for future upgrades. The case offers toolless entry and non-proprietary components.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX is normally a laptop CPU

This PC is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU on a customized Intel HM870 mATX motherboard. The 255HX is traditionally a laptop-class CPU, and it's important to note that laptop CPUs are (permanently) soldered onto the motherboard. Unlike a desktop CPU, a laptop CPU cannot be upgraded. If you do plan on swapping the CPU for something better in the future, then you'll have to stick with a gaming PC equipped with a traditional desktop CPU. If you don't intend on swapping the CPU, then you'll get excellent desktop-level performance out of this chip.

The RTX 5070 Ti GPU has excellent 4K gaming performance

Despite the fact that the CPU is a mobile chip, the RTX 5070 Ti is a desktop-class graphics card with 16GB of RAM and 1,406 AI TOPS. Unlike the CPU, the GPU can be user upgraded.

Of all the RTX 50 series GPUs released thus far, the RTX 5070 Ti offers the best bang for your buck for 4K gaming performance. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super and marginalizes the RTX 5080, which is only about 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. Like all Blackwell cards, the RTX 5070 Ti supports DLSS 4. It also has 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM same as the RTX 5080, making it suitable for AI.

There's Still Time to Score These Cyber Monday 3D Printer Deals at AliExpress

Cyber Monday is winding to a close, but there's still time to take advantage of great 3D printer deals from AliExpress. Some of the most popular 3D printer brands, including Creality, Anycubic, and Flashforge, have official AliExpress storefronts, and they all have 3D printers on sale. AliExpress is also offering sitewide coupon codes that stack with these discounts. After combining these savings, you could get a 3D printer for as low as $166. All of the printers below are sold by the manufacturer and ship locally for free from the United States so there aren't any tariffs or long shipping times.

Cyber Monday 3D Printer Deals at AliExpress

Flashforge Adventurer 5M CoreXY 3D Printer

Looking for the absolute lowest price on a 3D printer? Look no further. The Flashforge Adventurer 5M is down to well under $200 with coupon. That's impressive considering it's a CoreXY printer, which is a more stasble type of 3D printer that usually costs more than your average 3D printer.

TL;DR:

  • Open chamber 8.7" cubed working space
  • CoreXY 3D printer (more stable than other types)
  • 600mm/s print speed with 20,000mm/s² acceleration
  • Auto leveling and vibration compensation
  • Easy assembly

Anycubic Kobra 3 Multi-Filament 3D Printer Combo

The Kobra 3 is Anycubic's entry level 3D printer with plenty of features that make it an outstanding value given it's sub-$300 price point. Even more impressive is the fact that this combo includes the Ace Pro multi-filament module that allows you to print objects with multiple colors instead of just one. The module usually sells for over $200 by itself.

TL;DR:

Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro CoreXY Enclosed 3D Printer

A closed chamber provides a more stable workbench environment, especially if you utilize the dual layer filtration system with both HEPA and carbon air filters. The benefits include a consistent temperature that allows you to use more types of filament materials, reduction of foreign contamination, lower noise, and fume containment.

TL;DR:

  • Closed chamber 8.7" cubed working space

TL;DR:

  • Open chamber 8.7" cubed working space
  • CoreXY 3D printer (more stable than other types)
  • 600mm/s print speed with 20,000mm/s² acceleration

Creality's K1C printer is the 2024 successor to the venerable K1 model. Upgrades include an tri-metal unicorn nozzle, clog-free metal extruder, a built-in AI camera for remote monitoring, and wider material compatibility including carbon fiber printing.

TL;DR:

  • Closed chamber 8.7"x8.7"x9.8" working space
  • CoreXY 3D printer (more stable than other types)
  • 600mm/s print speed with 20,000mm/s² acceleration
  • Built-in camera for remote monitoring
  • Auto leveling and vibration compensation
  • Easy assembly

Anycubic Kobra S1 CoreXY Enclosed Multi-Filament 3D Printer

If you really want to step up your game, Anycubic's Kobra S1 is a rather huge upgrade from its entry level Kobra series. For starters, it's equipped with a CoreXY structure and features a closed chamber setup for consistent, predictable, and higher quality results. And if you want to create 3D prints with mulitple colors, don't worry because the combo includes the Ace Pro multi-filament module, which conveniently sits atop the 3D printer itself to conserve space.

TL;DR:

  • Closed chamber 9.8" cubed working space
  • CoreXY 3D printer (more stable than other types)

I’ve Picked Out the Best Cyber Monday Gaming Laptop Deals That Are Still Available

Black Friday may be behind us, but the deals bonanza isn't over just yet. If you're looking to upgrade from your outdated gaming laptop, or you want to transition from a desktop computer to a more mobile setup, there are still plenty of excellent deals to choose from for Cyber Monday. Some of these deals are better than Black Friday. I'm not sure which deals are expiring tonight and which are being extended, so if you find a laptop that's perfect for your needs, don't hesitate.

Alienware Aurora Gaming Laptop Deals

Alienware's new mainstream gaming laptop for 2025 is dubbed the "Alienware Aurora" and it replaces the previous generation's x16 and m16 series of laptops. It comes in two models: the 16 and 16X. The 16 is the more economical model, but gamers should definitely opt for the higher-end 16X model. If you're looking for build quality and performance on par with the previous generation m16, then the 16X is its spiritual successor. It features an anodized aluminum lid and base, a higher quality display, a more powerful CPU, and a GPU that isn't throttled for maximum gaming performance.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16" Gaming Laptop Deal (RTX 5070 Ti)

Lower than Black Friday price

Lenovo has several strong deals, string with this Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 for $1,753.74 after you stack two coupon codes "LEGIONKRAZE" and "LENOVOHOLIDEAL" The Legion Pro 7 is Lenovo's highest end 16" gaming laptop, featuring a full metal chassis (both lid and body). It weighs approximately 5.6-6 pounds depending on the configuration. Specs include a 16" 2.5K 240Hz OLED display, AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16" Gaming Laptop Deal (RTX 5080)

Lower than Black Friday price

Lenovo has the Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 for $2,085.99 after you stack two coupons "BFLEGIONCRAZE" and "LENOVOHOLIDEAL" Specs include a 16" 2.5K 240Hz OLED display, Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. This system is also preinstalled with Windows 11 Pro instead of Home.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16" Ryzen X3D Laptop Deal (RTX 5080)

Lower than Black Friday price

This Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 laptop deserves special mention because the 9955HX3D processor is the most powerful mobile gaming CPU on the market, easily besting anything that Intel has in its repertoire, thanks to AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. The rest of the specs include a 16" 2.5K 240Hz OLED display, RTX 5080 GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

HP OMEN MAX 16 Gaming Laptop Deal (RTX 5070 Ti)

Lower than Black Friday price

HP has the OMEN MAX 16 for $1,299.99 after coupon code "STUFFING50". New for 2025, the OMEN MAX 16 is almost entirely constructed of aluminum, including both the top lid and chassis. The OMEN MAX 16 also features a new OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro design that combines vapor chamber cooling, redesigned fan configuration, and an improved thermal interface material to maximize heat transfer.

The laptop weighs in at about 6 pounds. Specs include a 16" 1920x1200 144Hz IPS display, Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The laptop can be customized, and I'd recommend bump the display up to an OLED model for $150.

HP OMEN MAX 16 Gaming Laptop Deal (RTX 5080)

Lower than Black Friday price

HP has the OMEN MAX 16 for $1,799.99 after coupon code "GOBBLE100". Specs include a 16" 2.5K 240Hz IPS display, Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

OMEN MAX 16" RTX 5060 Gaming Laptop for $975

Lower than Black Friday

If your budget limits you to under $1,000, don't fret because you can still get yourself a powerful gaming laptop with excellent build quality. This OMEN MAX 16 configuration cost just $974.99 after an $800 instant discount and $25 off code "GRAVY25". It features a 16" 1920x1200 165Hz IPS display, AMD Ryzen AI 7 H350 processor, GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The RTX 5060 is about 15%-20% more powerful than the RTX 4060 that it replaces and approaches the performance of the RTX 4070, especially with DLSS 4 enabled.

MSI Vector HX 16" Gaming Laptop Deal (RTX 5070 Ti)

Walmart has the MSI Vector HX gaming laptop for $1299.00 after a $700 off discount. This is the lowest price I've seen so far for an RTX 5070 Ti equipped laptop. It weighs in at about 5.9 pounds. Specs include a 16" 2.5K 240Hz IPS display, AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, 32GB of RAM. and a 1TB SSD.

Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptop Deals

Alienware 18 Area-51 (18")

Alienware 16 Area-51 (16")

The Area-51 is Alienware's new flagship gaming laptop for 2025. It features an anodized aluminum shell for both the lid and bottom chassis with a gorgeous iridescent finish. The frame is made of a durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. Cooling has been upgraded with generous amounts of copper and a new thermal interface material to better transfer heat away from your hottest components as well as more fans and bigger cutouts for greater airflow. Dell claims that the laptop can handle a higher power ceiling of up to 240W TDP without raising acoustics.

Design-wise, the Area 51 has a sleeker, more contoured shape compared to previous models, with rounded edges and soft corners replacing the traditional squared off design. The hinges are internally positioned so that they're near invisible. There's a transparent window on the undercarriage to show off the internal components. As befits an Alienware laptop, there's plenty of RGB illunimation, although most of it can be turned off if you want your laptop to be a bit more subtle.

Ayaneo Announces a Monster of a New Gaming Handheld

Over the holiday weekend, Ayaneo announced the Next II, a Windows-based handheld gaming PC. It looks beefy, full-featured and, from here, a whole lot like an overpowered, probably very expensive Steam Deck running a worse operating system.

The Ayaneo Next II features a 9-inch, up-to 165Hz OLED display with a 2400x1504 resolution and a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The company says it's powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chipset – the same powerful chip used by the Asus ROG Flow Z13 gaming laptop, which earned a 9/10 for its impressive gaming performance in IGN's review earlier this year. The Next II has an 85W thermal design power (TDP), or roughly how high its power consumption ceiling is. It's also got dual cooling fans, and a 115Wh battery – a huge gain over the original Next, which had just a 47Wh battery. It also outdoes the 80Wh capacity of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X. Whether that translates to longer life between charges remains to be seen, though, especially with that 85W TDP.

Taking a page from Valve's book, Ayaneo put two touch pads on the front of the Next II, which the company writes "support customizable key mapping and intuitive gesture control." Otherwise, the console has two Hall effect joysticks, Hall effect triggers with two-stage trigger locks, four bumper buttons, four face buttons, and four configurable rear buttons. And there's an 8-way D-pad that looks similar to the one Microsoft uses on its Xbox Wireless Controller. It's a lot.

It sounds like Ayaneo is going hard with this handheld – nearly everything about it sounds like the company is trying to one-up every handheld on the market today. Ayaneo didn't say when the Next II is coming out or offer pricing information, but the company isn't shy about pricing premium handhelds like, well, premium handhelds (See the $1,265 starting price of the Ayaneo Next Advance).

The AirPods Pro 3 Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds Drops to $149.99 for Cyber Monday

By now everyone's probably aware of the two Cyber Monday deals floating around for Apple's new AirPods Pro 3 wireless noise canceling earbuds. They normally retail for $249 but you can get either of these modest discounts:

But there's actually another way you can get it for significantly cheaper. Quickshipelectronics via eBay has certified open box Apple AirPods Pro 3 earbuds for just $149.99 with free delivery. "Open box" usually implies that these buds are new and unused. There's no mention of an official Apple warranty, however eBay does back this sale up with a 1 year Allstate warranty. Quickshipelectronics itself is a pretty well-known retailer of used or open box goods and its eBay account has nearly 400,00 reviews with a stellar 99.7% feedback rating.

Open Box AirPods Pro 3 Earbuds for $149.99

Update: Now you have to join a livestream to get this deal. You'll need to add a credit card for payment. Click on the little icon with the 3 dots to see all of "Buy It Now" items and scroll down to find the deal.

The AirPods Pro 3 launched on September 19, so it's just over 2 months old and you can already get it for over 30% off. Like its predecessor, this is easily the best earbuds for anyone who uses an iPhone. Although it looks pretty similar to the 2nd gen AirPods, there are some pretty significant improvements under the hood. The most notable new feature is the built-in heart rate sensing, but the AirPods Pro 3 improves in other subtle ways as well, including better audio quality, better noise cancelation, long battery life, and a more weatherproof IP57 shell.

Released alongside the AirPods Pro 3 was Apple's "Live Translation", which is an Apple Intelligence feature that will translate other languages on the fly. This isn't exclusive to the AirPods Pro, however, since it can also be used with the 2nd gen AirPods Pro and the AirPods 4.

If you are interested in other models, pretty much every generation of AirPods is on sale. You can check out our full guide to this year's Cyber Monday sales for more deals outside of the Apple ecosystem.

Target Has the Best LEGO Harry Potter Deals Still Live for Cyber Monday 2025

With Cyber Monday deals coming to an end tonight, pretty much all of the best LEGO discounts we've seen will be coming to an end. Many of those deals have already expired as stock has run out for the more popular sets. If you're looking for LEGO Harry Potter sets, however, Target still has some great options available for pretty cheap.

Target's Cyber Monday LEGO sale ends tomorrow, so this is your last chance to pick up one of these sets for a discounted price. These are some of my most recommended Harry Potter gifts for fans of all ages and I don't expect the prices to go any lower than this before Christmas.

Target LEGO Harry Potter Sale

The selection of Harry Potter themed LEGO sets is quite vast and these discounts are only a drop in the bucket compared to what's actually available. There's even a massive multi-set Hogwarts Castle build that has been getting new releases over the years, but don't expect to find discounts on that here. These deals are all on smaller sets that are great for all ages and aren't too expensive.

My top pick from this sale is the Chomping Monster Book of Monsters. I actually had the chance to build this set myself back when it was first released this year and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It's small enough that you can put it together in a single afternoon while also detailed enough to feel like a challenge. Best of all, it actually rolls and chomps once it's all put together. I'd definitely recommend checking it out at this price.

Also included in this sale are a few other sets that are great for display or play. The Knight Bus Adventure set is a recreation of the iconic scene from The Prisoner of Azkaban complete with a little swinging chandelier inside. And a potted Mandrake set looks like it's straight out of Professor Sprout's Herbology class. You can pull it out of its pot and it will actually open its mouth as if to shriek. Either of these sets would look great on a desk or a bookshelf.

The most expensive LEGO Harry Potter set I've featured here is the Sorting Hat. It is unique compared to most LEGO builds in that it can move and talk once you fully put it together. The design has all of the wrinkles and stitches you'd expect and it comes with a single minifigure of Harry Potter from The Sorcerer's Stone. We actually had the chance to build this set ourselves and loved the final product, although we felt the process of putting everything together was overall a bit monotonous.

The Dell Cyber Monday Sale Has the Only Gaming PC Deals That Haven't Expired Yet

Throughout Black Friday and the weekend, there were quite a few worthy gaming PC deals from several retailers including HP, Lenovo, Best Buy, and Walmart. For whatever reason, these deals have either sold out or gone up in price. There's really just one retailer that still has its best deals still running for Cyber Monday, and that's Alienware. It's still not too late to score a great deal on a powerful gaming PC, but the clock is ticking.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC From $1,750

Even when all the other deals going on, Dell (Alienware) consistently had the lowest price on a prebuilt RTX 5080 gaming PC. You can get an Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 gaming PC starting at just $1,750 (it was $1,815 on Friday). This base configuration is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. You can upgrade to 32GB of RAM for an extra $100. The RTX 5080 is a phenomenal card for playing the most demanding games in 4K resolution with ray tracing.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC From $1,500

Most gamers can step down from an RTX 5080 to an RTX 5070 Ti without any noticeable performance drop in gameplay. You'll notice the cost savings, however. This base configuration is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The RTX 5070 Ti GPU was our best reviewed RTX 50 series GPU because it offers strong 4K gaming performance at a reasonable price point. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super and pulls ahead in games that support DLSS 4.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 Gaming PC (New) for $3,900

Dell has its flagship Alienware Area-51 gaming PC equipped with an uber powerful GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card starting at $3,899.99 after a $1,150 instant discount. The base system features a 240mm liquid cooled Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of DDR5-6400MHz RAM, and a 2TB SSD. The RTX 5090 is the most powerful consumer GPU on the market. Although with this generation Nvidia has prioritized software updates, AI features, and DLSS 4 technology to improve gameplay performance, the 5090 still boasts an impressive 25%-30% uplift over the RTX 4090.

The Powerful HP OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop Drops to $1,299.99 for Cyber Monday

HP is offering an outstanding Cyber Monday deal on its flagship gaming laptop. Right now you can score the powerful OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for just $1,299.99 with free shipping after $50 off coupon code "STUFFING50". The RTX 5070 Ti is a powerful mobile GPU that should easily handle the newest and most demanding games.

OMEN MAX 16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for $1,299.99

New for 2025, the OMEN MAX 16 is an upgrade to the OMEN 16 both in terms of build quality and cooling potential. Unlike the OMEN 16, the OMEN MAX 16 is almost entirely constructed of aluminum, including both the top lid and chassis. The exception is the palm rest, which is still plastic so that it doesn't get too toasty for your hands. The OMEN MAX 16 also features a new OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro design that combines vapor chamber cooling, redesigned fan configuration, and an improved thermal interface material to maximize heat transfer. Not only does this keep the OMEN MAX 16 cooler during gaming marathons, it also allows for the current-generation graphics cards to perform optimally without throttling.

This particular configuration features a 16" 1920x1200 display, Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Both the memory and storage can be user-upgraded. I would recommend upgrading to the 16" 2560x1600 OLED display for an additional $190.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255X is a top performing CPU

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX is a 20-core processor with a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz. In terms of gaming performance, upgrading to an Ultra 9 would be a waste of money. Games are typically GPU-bound, so getting the best GPU within your budget should be the highest priority. Most games also can't utilize more than 4-8 cores, so the extra cores on the Core Ultra 9 are unnecessary. The Ultra 9 275HX does have a slightly higher clock speed (5.4GHz vs 5.2GHz) but that's just a 4% difference in performance, completely unnoticeable in actual gameplay.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU can handle the most demanding games

The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU is comparable in performance to the previous generation's RTX 4080 and pulls ahead of it in games that support DLSS 4. It should be able to handle even the newest and most demanding games like Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, and Borderlands 4 on the native 1920x1200 resolution. It can also run the same games at 2560x1600 if you opt for the OLED upgrade, although you may have to minimally tweak some graphics settings to maintain 60fps.

This Sonos Arc Soundbar Costs $500 Less Than the Arc Ultra for Cyber Monday

Sonos doesn't discount its popular speakers very often, so it's a wise investment to jump on a good sale when you see one. The Sonos Arc was discontinued last year to make way for its successor, the Arc Ultra. It's no longer available new at Sonos direct, however for Cyber Monday you can pick up a certified refurbished model for just $399. That's nearly $500 less than its original retail price of $900. It's a better value than picking up the Arc Ultra, currently "on sale" for $879.

Sonos refurbished products go through rigorous testing; they come with all accessories, manuals, and documentation and are reshipped in "pristine" packaging. Most importantly, Sonos includes the same 1-year warranty as buying new. I like when retailers offer the same warranty as new because that means they have faith in the reliability of their refurbs.

Sonos Arc Soundbar (Refurbished)

The release of the Arc Ultra doesn't make the Arc any less of an outstanding speaker. The 45" soundbar houses eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers each paired with Class-D amplifiers. It's capable of room filling audio by itself, but you'd still benefit from a separate subwoofer to round out the low end. Unlike the Sonos Beam, which only has virtual height channels, the Arc has two physical height channels for true Dolby Atmos support. The Arc also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatiblity, including voice control.

Save $120 off the Sonos Arc Ultra for Cyber Monday

If you care more about getting the superior speaker, even if it might not be as cost-efficient, then the Arc Ultra might bhe the soundbar for you. This imposing 46" soundbar houses 14 total speakers, including five tweeters (plus two upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos supported height channels), six midwoofers, and a four-motor, dual-membrane Sound Motion woofer for impressive low-end that the original Arc lacked. The Arc Ultra uses AI enhancement technology to isolate and boost the clarity of dialogue and voices. It also has a built-in microphone so that it can be controlled using voice commands from the Sonos app or your favorite smart assistant. Check out our own Sonos Arc Ultra review.

This deal is part of a greater Sonos Black Friday Sale. Check out more deals on soundbars, speakers, and headphones, including the lowest prices of the year on the Sub 4 and Sub Mini to complement your soundbar.

Amazon's Cyber Monday Google Pixel 10 Pro Deals Will End Tonight

If you're hoping to find a deal on an unlocked Google Pixel phone before Cyber Monday deals come to an end, I've got some good news: Both Amazon and Best Buy still have slashed prices on all of the latest models from the Pixel lineup. The Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold have all dropped to their lowest prices for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with a whopping 25% savings. These deals launched earlier this month and have come back just in time for Amazon's official Cyber Monday sale.

Google's line of smartphones is mostly known for its high-quality camera and helpful AI features, both of which make them great iPhone alternatives. As someone who has owned a Pixel for well over a year now, I have no problem recommending them to anyone looking for a smartphone upgrade at a reasonable price.

The Best Google Pixel Phone Deals at Amazon Today

The only exception to the 25% Cyber Monday discount is the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is only getting 17% off the retail price. But even that is still substantial when you consider that this is the best discount we've seen on Google's latest foldable phone since it was released in October. With these price drops, right now is the best time we've seen all year to pick up an unlocked Google Pixel phone at a discount. None of these price drops are attached to a carrier plan, so you don't need to sign any sort of contract before you buy. You can currently find these savings at Amazon or at Best Buy if any of any of the colors are out of stock.

Which phone should you buy?

Pixel 10 Pro vs. Pixel 10

Deciding which Google phone to buy really comes down to what features you want and how much you're willing to pay. My Google Pixel 8 is a few generations old at this point, but I decided to grab the Pro because of the increased screen size and bigger battery. I'd highly recommend picking up either the Pro or Pro XL if you plan on using your phone to watch videos or play games at all. Otherwise the cheaper Pixel 10 is probably your best bet at this price.

We reviewed the Google Pixel 10 Pro earlier this year and found that it didn't offer that many improvements of the Pixel 9 Pro. However, with the discount right now, the latest model is definitely the one worth buying over the previous generation.

The Google Pixel 9 deal is the best value option

If you don't mind going back a generation to save even more cash, I'd recommend checking out the Google Pixel 9 deal Amazon also has going on right now. We reviewed the Google Pixel 10 when it came out in September and overall found it to be not as big of an upgrade as we hoped it would be. It's definitely an improvement over the Pixel 9 in terms of performance thanks to the Tensor G5 chip and additional AI features, but it isn't a massive leap. Considering the Pixel 9 is currently $100 cheaper than the Pixel 10 right now, it's worth considering going back a generation for additional savings.

If you're debating which generation to buy, I'd recommend checking out this Pixel 10 vs. Pixel 9 comparison guide that breaks down all of the differences.

Should You Wait For a Better Deal on Next Year?

While these are indeed the best prices we've ever seen on the Google Pixel 10 phones this year, that doesn't mean the prices won't drop further next year. Google always launches its new phones sometime around August and will usually drop bigger and bigger discounts on its latest generation phones as the we get closer to that date. So if you really want to maximize your savings on Pixel 10, it's probably better to wait until 2026. If you need a phone right now, though, these deals are really great for how recently the new phones were released.

AliExpress Has Adult Electric Bike Deals Starting at Under $400 for Cyber Monday

It's time to retire that pedal-powered bike of yours and upgrade to electric! For Cyber Monday, AliExpress is offering two of its most popular ebikes down to historically low prices, both well under $500. The deals below stand out for the following reasons: 1) they're a lot less expensive than buying the exact same bike from Amazon, 2) they're all shipped from a local US warehouse so you don't need to worry about tariffs or shipping delays, and 3) they're sold by reputable vendors with plenty of reviews and sales to back them up.

Amyet V9-G60 1000W Electric Bike for Less Than $400

The Amyet V9-G60 boasts a 1,000W (1,500W peak) brushless motor that can push the bike at speeds up to 32mph. The 48V 20AH (960Whr) battery can last up to 70 miles on a single charge (the actual distance is dependent on other factors like your speed, terrain, elevation, etc). Other features include a lightweight aluminum frame, Shimano components for its 7-speed transmission, dual suspension, and 20" wheels with 4" fat tires for a more comfortable ride. The bike comes 90% preassembled and includes a one-year warranty. It's also mod-friendly in case you wanted to do your own upgrades.

Luckeep X1 Lite 750W Electric Bike for $446.76

The X1 Lite's 750W (1,500W peak) brushless motor can hit a top speed of about 28mph. The 48V 15AH (720Whr) battery can last up to 50 miles on a single charge. Like the Amyet V9-G60, it also features a lightweight aluminum frame, Shimano 7-speed transmission, and 20" wheels with 4" fat tires, and is covered by a 12-month warranty. The feature that sets this bike apart is its ability to be folded in half with the wheels stacked next to each other. This design makes it much easier to fit in a smaller space. A little engineering magic is needed to make sure that the frame maintains its rigidity and so this feature isn't commonly found in entry level bikes.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Memberships Are 37% Off for Cyber Monday

If you're exhausted by the ever-increasing price of Xbox Game Pass, there's relief at Amazon in the form of three months of Game Pass Ultimate for just $56.99. That's $18.99 per month, or more than $10 cheaper than the Ultimate plan's usual $29.99 monthly.

Microsoft charges promotional rates first, even if a deal like this is added to existing Game Pass subscriptions, so buyers don't pay their usual rates until the three months is up. And for those who can swing it, the company lets subscribers stack deals. That $30+ savings every three months adds up – it's the difference between paying $240 vs $360 annually.

Save $30 Off Three Months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

That stacking can not only stave off your current subscription price; it can hold off future increases, too. There's no telling how high Game Pass will go – its most recent price hike occurred in October, with Microsoft throwing in more benefits for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in an attempt to sweeten the deal, such as monthly subscriptions to both Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics, and a promise that subscribers will get access to more than 75 day one releases each year.

Xbox consoles haven't seen the discounts that Sony has given the PS5 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but there are sales on games and accessories around. For instance, Amazon and Best Buy are selling first-party Xbox Wireless Controllers on the cheap, and Walmart has dropped the price on hard copies of games like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

Amazon's Buy 2, Get 1 Free Board Games Sale Is the Best New Cyber Monday Deal

It’s back, tabletop fans. Both Amazon and Target are running a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” sale on board games, many of which are already individually discounted for Cyber Monday. And these deals are stackable, an elite-level deal-hunting move I always appreciate. Let’s take a look at what board games are eligible for the sale.

Buy 2, Get 1 Free at Amazon

The deals include a lot of standards that should be in most people’s game collection, like Ticket to Ride, Catan, and Azul. It’s also a great sale for parents looking to pick up family board games, as tons of classic games are on sale. Games like Scrabble, Operation, Mouse Trap, Guess Who, Twister, and the like are all represented here.

I’d especially recommend Flip 7, a simple card game that only takes a few minutes to teach newcomers, with matches that last just 15 - 20 minutes. That makes it great to whip out with a group of friends when you’re looking to kill some time. Check out our Flip 7 review for more information.

Flamecraft is an excellent strategy game with dragons (see our review here). The latest edition of Talisman brings a classic dungeon-crawler into modern times (review). And The Lord of The Rings Journeys in Middle-Earth Board Game made it on our list of the best fantasy board games.

Those are just a few of the games eligible for the Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale at Amazon. You can click through to the full sale here to see every game available. There are plenty. And remember, you can also check out the same sale at Target, where you may find a handful of different games available.

The Best Black Friday LEGO Star Wars Deal Is Still Live at Amazon for Cyber Monday

LEGO sets are popular this Cyber Monday, and the best LEGO Star Wars deal is the Battle Droid with STAP from the Phantom Menace. It's currently down to $89.99 on Amazon, saving you $50 off of its original price of $139.99. It's not the only LEGO Star Wars set discounted, but it's definitely the biggest bang for your buck. LEGO's Cyber Monday sale ends today, so make sure you look through what they're offering in case there's a set you've had your eye on.

LEGO Star Wars Battle Droid With STAP

This awesome 1,088-piece model is one of the most detailed buildable droid figures we've had. It stands over a foot tall when the droid is mounted on the STAP (Single Trooper Aerial Platform) and comes with a display stand and information marquee that's great for displaying with other LEGO sets or on a bookshelf. You also get a minifigure battle droid and a scaled down version of the STAP with clear support bricks to give it that floating illusion. The Battle Droid buildable figure itself can be removed from the STAP, and it's fully posable with the included brick-built blaster. At just over 1,000 pieces, this is the perfect set to lock in on while The Phantom Menace plays in the background.

We built the LEGO Battle Droid with STAP set, detailing the process with plenty of visual aids along the way.

More LEGO Star Wars and Sets Retiring Soon

If you're unfamiliar, LEGO will schedule their sets to retire after some time. Some other great LEGO Star Wars sets will soon be sunsetted, like the Droideka buildable model, which pairs perfectly with the Battle Droid and STAP set for all those prequels fans out there. The Mos Espa Podrace diorama is another great set for displaying in a home office, and the Tantive IV recreates one of the most iconic ships in the entire saga.

If you're after a LEGO set that isn't Star Wars-themed, there are dozens of other sets retiring soon to pick from (check out the full list on BrickEconomy).

Last Day To Grab 10% off Phantasmal Flames From TCGPlayer Cyber Weekend Event

Phantasmal Flames has exploded in popularity from release, but the good news is larger print runs are starting to pay off with more stock floating around. We're not out of the woods yet, but prices are coming down for both sealed and single card values, so it's having the right effect on the market.

With TCGPlayer running their Cyber Weekend event until 11PM ET today, this is your last chance to knock an extra 10% off whatever you purchase on there. If you're already a TCGPlayer subscriber, that cashback percentage goes up to 16% depending on how long you've been a subscriber for. If you right up today for $8.99 per month, that flat 10% goes up to 13%, which adds up if you're stocking up.

Phantasmal Flames Booster Packs

The cheapest way to get in on Phantasmal Flames are single booster packs and blister packs. If you're collecting, i'd reccomend going for the sleeved booster packs or the blisters. It just means you'll get better chances of cards being in a gradable condition if you pull something worthwhile.

Phantasmal Flames Boxed Products

Looking to keep some Phantasmal Flames in your sealed collection? This is a great time to catch the Pokémon Cernter Exclusive Elite Trainer Box and The Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection. With 10% knocked off, they'll run you $173.70 and $165.59 respectively, which is going to be the best price you're likely to ever find on these products.

If you're planning on ripping booster packs i'd go for the Booster Bundle that contains six boosters for $43.84 after cashback or the Booster Box for $243, which is $12 cheaper than Amazon's cheapest price right now. Just remember, this cashback offer ends today at 11PM ET, so make sure to lock in yuour order today if you're in the market.

Bulk / Case Phantasmal Flames

If you're looking at really bulking up your sealed collection or ripping a high amount of booster packs, buying a case of Phantasmal Flames product is the way forward. It's usually cheaper buying in bulk, and keeping this all sealed is extremely collectable.

For example, buying the case of six Phantasmal Flames booster boxes means you're paying $227.99 per Booster Box after cashback, which is currently a saving of $15.01 per Booster Box, or $90.06 total by comparrison.

Score a 23% Discount on a 2TB Seagate Xbox Expansion Card for Cyber Monday

It’s Cyber Monday, and possibly the last day to enjoy the best discounts this year. That includes deals on Xbox accessories, like Amazon's 23% discount for the Xbox-approved 2TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card, now available for just $199.99.

Seagate's 2TB Xbox Storage Expansion Card Is $75 Off

The Xbox Series X and Series S come with up to 1TB total storage, some of which is already taken up by the console's operating system. AAA titles can fill that space up fast, and the Xbox Series consoles don't have standard M.2 SSD expansion slots like the PS5. It does support external SSDs via USB, but for full-speed storage that will actually play games optimized for the Xbox Series X/S, you need one of a few approved cards that fit a specific slot on the back of the console. The Seagate Storage Expansion Card was the first of those, and is IGN’s pick for best Xbox Series X/S SSD.

That approach means Xbox storage expansion isn't often as cheap, but there's at least one nice trade-off in its ease of use. Plugging a card into the back of your console is way easier than opening it up and connecting things to the internal board – and a lot less anxiety-inducing for those who don't do that sort of thing all the time.

The Seagate Storage Expansion Card is available in three different capacities: 4TB, 2TB, and 1TB. The $379.99 4TB card is the best per-terabyte deal, but 2TB is the sweet spot, providing ample space for a healthy gaming library without costing almost as much as a new Series S.

Other Xbox Deals Worth Shopping

After you grab the Seagate Storage Expansion Card, head to our roundup of Xbox game and accessory deals. We've also highlighted a number of other gaming deals, with specific breakouts for the Sony PS5 and Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, if you're of the multiplatform pursuasion.

Best Buy Finally Drops an Xbox Series X Deal for Cyber Monday

Xbox console deals may have been absent from Black Friday sales this year, but Best Buy's not letting the season of savings come to an end without a little treat for Xbox fans. The retailer is throwing in a free $100 Best Buy e-gift card with Xbox Series X purchases for Cyber Monday.

It's not a proper discount, but it's a nice salve for the burn of the console's $649.99 starting price, giving you some extra money to put toward on-sale Xbox games and accessories, or any of the other things Best Buy is discounting for Cyber Monday. The deal also applies to open-box consoles, which can net you extra savings if you happen to find one in stock near you. Alas, the deal doesn't extend to the cheaper Series S.

Buy an Xbox Series X 1TB Console, Get a Free $100 Best Buy E-Gift Card

For those unfamiliar, this Xbox Series X comes packed with 1TB of storage to hold a massive gaming library. Those games will look great when you boot them up, too, as this console can make your games shine with crisp 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS silky smooth frame rates.

Not seeing Xbox consoles pop up in Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales this year has been a big bummer, especially considering the recent price hikes. Yet just because there weren't any console deals doesn't mean the seasonal sale events have been a complete bust for Xbox fans. Our full breakdown of the best Xbox deals that are still available highlights some of our top picks at the moment. Some of these deals may not last much longer beyond today, so make sure to grab the ones that catch your eye while they're still available.

The Apple TV Cyber Monday Deal Knocks Over 50% Off Your First 6 Months, Just in Time to Check Out Pluribus

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are theoretically the best times to buy just about anything, but with ongoing price hikes, I’ll be the first to admit it’s getting harder to figure out what’s an actual deal. Rest assured, there is one certainty: Right now is definitely when you’ll find the lowest prices on streaming subscriptions.

We've seen plenty of Cyber Monday streaming deals go live, but Apple TV is offering one of the best discount on an ad-free subscription. Until midnight tonight, you can grab six months of Apple TV for $5.99/month.

Save Over 50% on Six Months of Apple TV

Apple TV has always kept it simple with a single ad-free subscription plan. The Cyber Monday deal offers six months of this subscription at a rate of $5.99/month, adding up to around $36 total. Six months at the regular Apple TV pricing, now $12.99/month after a recent price hike, would add up to around $78, making this over a 50% discount.

The deal is available to both new and returning subscribers, but there are some caveats. If you have Apple TV through a third party, like your internet plan, you unfortunately will not qualify. Same deal goes for if you happen to be eligible for the three-month free trial included with most Apple purchases, which I'd argue is a better deal anyway.

Aside from the $3 increase to its subscription cost, Apple TV also recently removed the “+” from its name as part of an ongoing rebrand. Per Apple's press release, the aim is to foster a "vibrant new identity."

That doesn’t seem to mean too much of a shift in their library. The big Apple TV exclusive right now is Pluribus, a new sci-fi series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan that stars Rhea Seehorn. Other Apple TV staples include Severance, Silo, The Studio, and Ted Lasso. It may have a smaller library than something like Netflix, but Apple TV certainly has the juice.

When Does the Apple TV Deal End?

Apple TV states clearly on their site that the deal lasts until December 1 at 8pm PT.

More Cyber Monday Highlights So Far

On the streaming front, Crunchyroll has launched a Cyber Monday sale for the anime-inclined, while a Walmart+ deal is currently your best bet for Peacock or Paramount+. You can check out some more streaming highlights below.

Otherwise, Amazon has already launched its big sale, which happens to include plenty of Apple products. You can check out our full breakdown of Cyber Monday for more guidance through the deals chaos.

The Slim MSI Inspire RTX 5070 Ti Graphics Card Drops to Well Below MSRP for Cyber Monday

Woot!, which is owned by Amazon, is offering a rare Cyber Monday deal on one of the new Nvidia RTX 50 series graphics cards. The factory reconditioned MSI Inspire GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card drops to just $719.99 (normally $850 new). Amazon Prime members get free shipping, otherwise it's a trivial $5 delivery fee. This GPU comes with a 180-day MSI warranty as well as a 30-day Woot return policy. From past experience, these listings have extremely limited inventory, so this deal probably won't last the entirety of Cyber Monday. If you've been waiting for a discount on an RTX 50 series GPU for your upcoming PC upgrade, this is a good opportunity to pick one up at no markup.

MSI Inspire GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU for $719.99 (Retail $850)

Factory reconditioned with 6 month MSI warranty

The base RTX 5070 Ti graphics card retails for $749.99, so you're already saving $30 with this deal. The MSI Inspire RTX 5070 Ti is one of MSI's highest end 5070 Ti GPUs and actually retails for $849.99. It is very slim for an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, but still provides plenty of cooling potential thanks to a beefy heatsink and triple fan combo. It's also one of the better looking GPUs with a slick gold metallic aesthetic and minimal RGB bling.

The RTX 5070 Ti GPU Is Our Best Reviewed Nvidia Blackwell GPU

It excels at 4K gaming performance at a reasonable price point

Of all the Blackwell cards released thus far, the RTX 5070 Ti offers the best value, especially if you're intending to play games at more demanding resolutions. This GPU is fully capable of running games in 4K at high framerates. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super and marginalizes the RTX 5080, which is only about 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. Like all Blackwell cards, the RTX 5070 Ti supports DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation. If you plan on using this card for AI, the RTX 5070 Ti may be a better value since it has the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080.

Compared to AMD, the RTX 5070 Ti is roughly comparable in raw performance to AMD's new RX 9070 XT graphics card, but the 5070 Ti has better upscaling technology and better ray tracing performance. The RX 9070 XT should be better priced at $599, but in reality you won't find any model for less than $700.
