Elden Ring Is Under $20 Again, and Nightreign Has A Big Discount Too for Black Friday

FromSoftware just doesn’t miss, eh? It’s hard to believe that it’s been over three years since Elden Ring landed on consoles and PC, and it somehow lived up to all of the expectation fans had placed on it.

A game we awarded a 10 out of 10 review score to, the joy of Elden Ring’s age now is that discounts are more plentiful, and the epic action RPG is back to its lowest price of $19.99 in Amazon’s Black Friday deals - and it’s not alone.

Elden Ring And Nightreign Score Big Black Friday Discounts

Whether you’re on PlayStation or Xbox, you can pick up the open-world fantasy epic for $19.99 - a 60% drop from the MSRP.

Given that it’s IGN’s Game of the Year 2022, it’s a must-play, especially for under twenty bucks.

“Elden Ring is a massive iteration on what FromSoftware began with the Souls series, bringing its relentlessly challenging combat to an incredible open world that gives us the freedom to choose our own path,” Mitchell Saltzman said in his review, and we stand by it.

It’s worth noting that this version doesn’t include the huge expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, which is large enough to be its own game - and even more challenging. We awarded it a 10 out of 10 score in our review, too, and you can get the Shadow of the Erdtree version of Elden Ring discounted, too.

It’s down to $49.99 on PS5 and down to $39.99 on Xbox Series X, which is the lowest it’s been outside of Amazon’s warehouse deals.

If you’re looking for something to play with friends, then Nightreign is well worth checking out. It condenses Elden Ring’s combat into a three-player hybrid between roguelite and battle royale as you’re pushed ever closer to challenging bosses.

It’s getting a 36% discount, bringing it down to just $34.99 on PS5 and Xbox.

Mitchell gave Nightreign a 7 out of 10 in his review, saying, “When Elden Ring Nightreign is played exactly as it was designed to be played, it’s one of the finest examples of a three-player co-op game around – but that's harder to do than it should be, and playing solo is poorly balanced.”

Subsequent patches have smoothed out those jagged edges, but it’s still best played with a couple of buds.

Save on Battlefield 6

In our 8/10 review, we wrote, "Battlefield 6’s multiplayer action is expertly crafted, wrapped in a wonderful layer of destructibility that both looks great and materially affects the flow of combat. The gunplay is excellent, with weapons that are accurate enough to reward skilled shooting, but have just enough sway to promote a bit of careful thought while you take aim."

Bleach Rebirth of Souls for $19.99

Bleach Rebirth of Souls was the first major Bleach game release in many years, with Bandai Namco and Tamsoft bringing the iconic series to modern platforms as a fighter. Is Nintendo Switch 2 On Sale For Black Friday?

There’s no denying that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been a runaway sales success, but ever since its pricing was revealed, I've personally been wondering if we'll ever actually see a reasonable discount on the console.

But, as the nascent handheld hybrid comes into its first Nintendo Black Friday sale (which is now live, by the way), it’s not looking likely that the console will drop in price. Still, let me explain why not all is lost.

While I don’t expect the console to drop from its $449.99 MSRP during Black Friday (I'd love to be surprised if it did), retailers will still be trying to entice prospective buyers with a bundle or two.

Nintendo currently offers two bundles, for example, with one including Mario Kart World and another offering Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Both of these are, at least in my opinion, rather good bundle deals.

"These are the best possible Switch 2 Black Friday deals we're getting."

The Mario Kart bundle, at $499, includes the console and Mario Kart World, at a $30 discount compared to buying each individually. While the Pokémon bundle is a similar deal, just a $20 saving instead, as the base game isn't as pricey as Mario Kart.

Those are two great games to kickstart your Switch 2 collection, and these are the best possible Switch 2 Black Friday deals we're getting.

If you're waiting on something else, I wouldn't bother risking these going out of stock between now and December, especially as plenty will be picking up Switch 2 consoles for loved ones over the holidays.

We’re also already starting to see some retailers throw even more into things - although not without driving up the cost. Best Buy has a bundle including both Pokémon and Mario Kart, or even bundles that include microSD Express cards, Donkey Kong Bananza, or even The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Many also include cases, screen protectors, or even the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, and we’re still a few days away from the ‘real’ Black Friday window. With that in mind, it might be worth holding out a few days to see if any of these bundles see price drops, or if fresh bundles arrive.

More Switch 2 Black Friday Deals

When it comes to games for when you do have a console, Amazon looks to be the place to shop. The retailer is offering considerable discounts on the likes of Star Wars: Outlaws, NBA 2K26, EA Sports FC 26, Madden NFL 26 and more.

When it comes to games, my top pick is Super Mario Odyssey right now, which ranked fourth on IGN's "Top 100 Nintendo Games of All Time", for just 30 bucks.

Other standout offers in Nintendo's Black Friday sale includes a big discount on the best microSD express card right now. It's for the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card, now just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount.

Should You Wait for Black Friday on November 28?

Black Friday deals are more confusing than ever these days. Most retailers spend November teasing limited-time offers, but the reality is that the deepest discounts rarely arrive until about a week before what I like to call “Black Friday proper.”

Having tracked Nintendo sales for years, one thing is clear: once a Switch deal hits, it usually sticks for the rest of the sale. That means the prices you see now on consoles, games, and accessories are very likely the ones that’ll hold through to December. If you’ve been holding out for a solid deal, there’s no need to wait any longer.

These offers are reliable, worthwhile, and unlikely to get any better. Grab the games and hardware you’ve had your eye on, there’s no risk of Black Friday regret, only the satisfaction of finally getting exactly what you wanted at a price that makes sense.

Are you planning to pick up anything in Nintendo's Black Friday sale? Let us know in the comments, and stick around with IGN as we continue to update you daily on the best Black Friday deals for 2025.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Is Only $30 This Black Friday

With the new screenshots for the Zelda movie released, many new Zelda fans are looking to explore the series for the first time. The best time of the year to score Zelda games on sale is here with Black Friday, and the latest 2D entry, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, is available for 50% off for a limited time. Grab the trusty Tri Rod and begin an exciting adventure across Hyrule today!

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for Only $30

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is one of the most unique games in the franchise for many reasons, but none are more obvious than this being the first game with Zelda as the protagonist. Instead of playing as Link, you play as Princess Zelda, who must save Hyrule on her own. As a result of this design, the game plays vastly differently from any other in the series.

The star of the gameplay is Zelda's Tri Rod, allowing you to create Echoes of almost anything. This can mean copying a bed and placing a dozen to form a staircase, or even spawning enemies to attack for you. You can get very creative with how you solve each puzzle, as most of the time, there is never just one solution. Creativity is key, and it's up to you to determine how to approach new challenges.

If you're a fan of Zelda games and have yet to check out Echoes of Wisdom, Black Friday is the perfect time to do so. This is especially true for Nintendo Switch 2 owners who skipped out on Switch, as there is an update for enhanced performance that supports 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.

For more Black Friday deals, be sure to check out the full Nintendo Black Friday sale to save on even more Nintendo Switch games. If you're looking for deals outside of games, the Amazon Black Friday sale is a great place to start.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Hits Its Lowest Price Ever for Black Friday

It's time to draw the curtains, as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has hit a new all-time low price for Black Friday 2025! This turn-based Mario adventure is a must-own for any Nintendo Switch player, and there's never been a better time to add this game to your collection.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for $29.99

Paper-Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of the most beloved Mario games of all time. The Nintendo Switch remake introduced several new features and quality-of-life updates, including the Partner Ring, which lets you quickly flip between partners, and new badges to unlock. Additionally, you can explore concept art and listen to the soundtrack in the Art and Sound Galleries, which can be filled out by obtaining Star Pieces. Beyond this, much work was put into the visual department, with updated sprites, enhanced graphics, and new lighting added to create a more premium experience.

Of course, the star of the show is the turn-based combat that Paper Mario is known for. Battles take place on a stage with toads in the audience, who actually can help change the course of battle by refilling the SP gauge. Each turn, you'll have the chance to choose your attack, whether that be a jump, hammer, or special move. The Thousand-Year Door is a game of strategy, which is a huge shake-up to the traditional Mario formula found in the 3D platformers.

For more Black Friday deals, be sure to check out the full Nintendo Black Friday sale to save on even more Nintendo Switch games. You can also see the full Target Black Friday sale for a broader range of deals.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows Just Hit A New Low Price In Amazon's Black Friday Deals

It feels like a while ago that Assassin’s Creed: Shadows launched at the start of the year, and Ubisoft’s latest entry into the RPG side of its long-running franchise finally whisked players to the Japan setting they craved.

While sales data remains unclear, there’s no denying the game’s scale and the size of its open world, and if you’ve been on the fence, then we’ve got good news - you can get it for up to half off in Amazon’s Black Friday deals.

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows Is Up To 50% Off

PS5 fans are the winners here, because they can pick up the game for a little less than Xbox Series X players. If you’re on Sony’s console, it’s just $34.99, whereas it’ll set you back $39.99 on Xbox - saving you 50% or 43% respectively.

Whichever version you buy, you get the advantage of an Amazon Exclusive character pack for Naoe, one of the game’s protagonists (more on that in a moment). It includes legendary gear, weapons, a mount, and a trinket to use in-game.

The big shift this time around is the split between Naoe and Yasuke, with the former offering the stealthy, nimble Assassin’s Creed gameplay you’d expect from the franchise’s earlier entries, while the latter complements that with a hard-hitting, combat-focused approach.

In our review, Jarrett Green awarded the game an 8 out of 10 and said, “By sharpening the edges of its existing systems, Assassin’s Creed Shadows creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it’s been honing for the last decade.”

The game’s Claws of Awaji expansion launched in September of this year, and Shadows is slated to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in December.

Lenovo Black Friday Sale Hits the UK, Best Deals Now Live

Lenovo has kicked off it's BLack Friday sale, just make sure to double check that the promo code "MEGADEAL" in your basket before checking out, although when doing this myself the code automatically applied.

TL;DR: The Best Lenovo Black Friday Deals

IT focuses mostly on laptops for all use cases, from gaming, to the efficient ThinkPads you've probbaly used in an office job before now and 2-in-1 efforts that are great for digital artwork and much more. There's also some monitors on offer, again there's everyday use cases and gaming covered. Let's get straight into it:

Gaming Laptop Deals

This is where the real deals are for me, but if you're not looking for a gaming laptop the rest of this article is for you. Looking for a budget gaming effort? Go for the LOQ Essential 15i, which has a RTX 5050, 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TV SSD. The processor isn't anything special, but this laptop is more than capable of running games at decent settings in 1080p. With DLSS4 available on 5000 series cards, you'll be able to generate the frames you're missing and drop the resolution a game is putting out to artificially upscale to really push this £679 gaming laptop beyond it's limits.

If you want something more upmarket with more power under the hood, it's a big jump in price to £1199. Granted the specs for just over a £500 jump are worth it, we're moving into mid-range territory here. The processor is slightly more powerfull, the RAM and SSD is the same, but we're getting an RTX 5070 with this and a better screen that rocks 165Hz refresh rate and is 1200p. Expect high settings with 120 FPS + on most games with this setup. Just to note also, this laptop was £1,549, a lovely Black Friday £300 discount.

2-In-1 Laptop Deals

If you want a bit of tech that does a little bit of everything, any three of these 2-in-1 laptops are great for those who want Windows-based drawing tablets that can double as a traditional laptop. Personally I'd go with the Yoga 7i 14 with the integrated Intel Arc graphics. It's never going to beat a dedicated GPU, but programs like Photoshop, Z Brush and other digital art apps need a solid GPU offering and plenty of storage . There's also 32GB LPDDR5X RAM installed, so boatloads of temporary memory for multitasking. It's also discvounted by £350, so this is a killer deal for a buyer that wants a little bit of anything, even a bit of light indie gaming.

ThinkPad and IdeaPad Deals

Whilst the price tag might tell a different tale, none of these laptops are useful for any heavy gaming purposes outside of pixel art and indie gaming. If that's you but you want a practical laptop that's thin, sleek and stylish, go for it.

ThinkPads and IdeaPads are by nature workhorses made for anything from web surfing to heavy office-themed work. It's always good to have a fast laptop, but some of these laptops might be a bit of overkill for these usecases.

That doesn't mean these laptops are bad by any stretch of the imagination, and will be great for heavy multitasking, but if you're looking to video edit or anything that depends on heavy use of a graphics card, integrated graphics that are built into a CPU or motherboard ain't it chief.

Monitors and Accessory Deals

A 27-inch 2K gaming monitor for £159 is such a great Black Friday deal, it's perfect for gamers on a budget who want to hit 1440p resolutions on a 1080p gaming laptop. Add a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.5 MPRT (Response time) and you have a solid gaming monitor that does what it says on this tin. It also has a lovely 99% sRGP and 90% DCI-P3 color gamuts for those bothered about color accuracy, but sadly no HDR support and it isn't OLED. IF you find another Monitor with those kind of specs on top of what i've mentioned please tell me, because you won't this Black Friday.

The ThinkVision monitors are great for day-to-day use and for most work purposes too, such as the £90 T22i-30 deal. It just depends what you want to get out of your screen experience.

Target Launches Its Black Friday Sale for 2025 With Killer New Deals

Target has officially started its Black Friday sale and the deals are already quite good. Target has been price matching many of the same deals we've seen from Best Buy and Amazon's Black Friday sales that started last week, but these new discounts really up the ante. The most exciting new discounts are a massive buy 2, get 1 free sale on physical media as well as a buy 1, get one half off sale on toys, board games, and puzzles. There are still more deals to come, but most of the best discounts are live right now.

The Best Target Black Friday Sales Today

In general, you can find a lot of the same popular Black Friday deals featured everywhere else. In terms of video game deals, today is actually the day that the Nintendo sale went live as well, so the first round of Switch game discounts is now available. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Black Friday sale has been running since Friday and includes some of the only console deals we're probably going to see all week. On the tech side of things, Target has been price matching all of the Apple deals we've seen at Amazon as well as TV deals from Best Buy. Those are the discounts you can find everywhere else right now.

The fresh deals that Target has brought into the sales world today are the BOGO promotions and some exciting new toy deals. First there's the buy 2, get 1 free sale on books, movies, and music that will likely be one of the most popular Black Friday deals of the year. Amazon has already started price matching this sale with its own "3 for 2" promo. There's also the buy 1, get 1 50% off sales on toys, board games, and puzzles that offer a wonderful opportunity for extra savings on gifts for the 2025 holiday season.

Some killer new LEGO deals are live at Target

While the general BOGO promos are the most exciting, it's the LEGO deals hidden in this sale that I'm most excited about. Most notably, there's the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory set that is getting discounted for the first time. We actually built this set when it first came out this earlier this year and I didn't think there was any way it would get discounted before next year. If you've had your eye on that one, I'd definitely recommend snapping it up before the deal is gone.

More Target Black Friday Deals Are Coming

Although Target's official Black Friday sale is live now, the retailer has already confirmed that more discounts will be dropping on November 28. These details come as part of Target's Black Friday ad that it released last week with all of the details of its sale. You can flip through all of the pages of that ad in the reddit thread below:

These upcoming deals will start as early access sales for Target Circle 360 members on November 27 and go live for everyone on Friday, November 28. Most notably, Target is promising 40% off select LEGO sets, which is a 10% increase from what we're seeing now. This is also when LEGO is planning to launch its own Black Friday sale, so we'll probably see a lot more sets drop in price on actual Black Friday this year. Here's the full list of upcoming sale categories from the ad:

  • Up to 50% off toys (Jurassic World, Squishmallows, FAO Schwarz)
  • Up to 50% off sleepwear
  • 40% off select LEGO sets
  • 40% off Wondershop holiday décor
  • 40% off shoes and slippers
  • 40% off beauty sets
  • 40% off sweaters
  • 40% off outerwear and cold-weather accessories
  • Up to 40% off men’s & women’s clothing

Amazon's Massive "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" 4K Blu-ray Sale Is Back for Black Friday 2025

Amazon's Black Friday sale is finally rolling, and the headline act is obvious. It's brought back its wildly popular 3 for 2 offer on physical media like 4K Blu-rays, the one that collectors like myself are always on the lookout for.

And once you see what's included this time around, you'll see what's got me so excited. It really is one of the best sales of the year, and probably the best of Black Friday 2025.

4K UHD Blu-rays: Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sale

This is the sweet spot for anyone who still cares about owning the good stuff instead of relying on whatever a streaming service feels like keeping.

Truth is, trying to narrow this sale down is a losing battle. There are too many heavy hitters to pretend this is some neat little shortlist. If you're smart, you'll dig through the full selection yourself because there’s no way all the worthwhile picks fit in one roundup.

The lineup this time round is mega stacked, including Fallout Season One (just in time for another binge before Season Two kicks off next month), Alien, The Mummy, Back to the Future, Batman (1989), Lilo & Stitch (2025), and plenty more as well. It really is worth just checking out the whole collection ASAP to find your favorites, just as I have.

As for how it works, it's exactly what you think. Buy two, get a third free. Add three eligible items to your basket and the cheapest one drops off at checkout. Clean, simple, and ridiculously good value when the lineup is this strong.

The deal scales with your cart, too, the more you grab, the more you save. Six items? Two free. Nine? Three free. You can mix and match across categories, with eligible books, board games, puzzles, and vinyl sitting alongside movies and TV box sets.

There's big new books like Callie Hart's Quicksilver follow-up, Brimstone, and Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping, or soon to be film, Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary. All of which are worth a buy, in my opinion at least. Comics are included as well, with some of the best Batman graphic novels up for grabs, such as my personal favorites, The Long Halloween, and the Court of Owls Saga.

Amazon’s search filters are still a mess, labeling almost everything as ‘DVD’ even when it’s 4K. Fortunately, the sale page itself is far easier to navigate once you’re in. And if Amazon doesn’t have the version you want, Target runs a nearly identical 3-for-2 promotion with plenty of overlapping stock.

Should I Wait for Black Friday on November 28?

So, should you wait for “Black Friday proper” to start hunting? Not this time. The sale is already live, and it’s one of the strongest offers you’ll see this week. If you care about owning your favorite films instead of relying on whatever happens to be on a streaming service, this is exactly the kind of deal to jump on now.

This sale follows one of Amazon’s best 4K film promotions in years, and it might even top it. It’s impressive, and well worth a browse while stock lasts. Check out what catches your eye, and stay tuned to IGN for more Black Friday updates this week.

Here's Every Switch Game Already On Sale for Black Friday 2025

Nintendo's Black Friday 2025 sale has kicked off across every major retailer, running Nov. 23-29. You're looking at up to half off a wide spread of Switch and Switch 2 games, and it's one of the stronger lineups Nintendo's bothered to put out in a while.

For the uninitiated, Black Friday itself doesn't hit until Nov. 28, but most of the industry has decided the rules don't matter, so most of the real deals tend to be available to browse already.

That means you can already scoop up some of the best prices on several incredibly worthwhile picks. Let's take a look at what's on offer.

When it comes to first-party, my top pick is Super Mario Odyssey right now, which ranked fourth on IGN's "Top 100 Nintendo Games of All Time", for just 30 bucks.

There's also Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake, Splatoon 3, and more down to $29.99, alongside Luigi Mansion 3, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD at $39.99.

When it comes to third-party deals, there's more than enough to keep Switch 2 owners satisfied.

That includes discounts on Star Wars Outlaws (including all its DLC) for $39.99 on Switch 2, $20 off its original list price, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, now just $44.99 on another fairly recent release.

Final Fantasy's 1-6 Pixel Collection is also down to $39.99. That's $35 off, and the lowest price ever on the game. That features another from our "Top 100 Nintendo Games of All Time" list, Final Fantasy 6, which sits at a very nice 19th overall.

There are also several other big Black Friday discounts on Switch games like Red Dead Redemption, EA SPORTS FC 26, Monster Hunter Stories Collection, Just Dance 2026, and more.

Other standout offers in Nintendo's Black Friday sale includes a big discount on the best microSD express card right now. It's for the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card, now just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount.

There's also a whole bunch of great amiibo deals that are absolutely worth your attention.

Amazon has dropped Tears of the Kingdom amiibo, Riju and Sidon to $9.99, while Best Buy has matched that price on Tulin and Yunobo. Street Fighter amiibo are also discounted, sitting at $14.99 at Best Buy.

How Do These Deals Compare to Last Year?

In all honesty, they are a mixed bag this year. While $30 for a Switch game like Super Mario Odysesy is a superb deal, we're lacking discounts on some other notable Switch or Switch 2 games.

There's no discounts for new titles like Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, or Mario Kart World, at least not offically, and we're still waiting to see if any retailers have some surprise offers.

We also haven't seen a big discount on a game like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which fell to just $29.99 last year. That was a huge deal, and would be perfect for anyone looking to upgrade it to the Switch 2 edition. Ah, I see why it's not on sale. That would make buying it for $70 unappealing.

You see how it is, Switch 2 is now available, and Nintendo isn't looking to offer up any bargains that it doesn't have to, on hardware, the best new games, or anything else for that matter.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Just Got Its First Major Discount Only a Couple of Months After Launch

Sonic and Mario’s rivalry may have cooled since they started competing in the Olympics together, but Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds might be the closest to a Mario Kart beater we’ve seen in a while.

The game succeeds with a “kitchen sink” approach, with a ton of characters, worlds, and power-ups that come from all over SEGA’s IP and beyond, and now you can save big on it for Target's Black Friday sale.

The Black Friday sale at Target has dropped the price of the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions down to $44.99 - a $25 discount on a game that only launched at the end of September.

The big draw this time is not just that the game’s vehicles transform between different modes, but that racers will travel through dimensions to different tracks during the same race. That keeps everyone on their toes, with the kart in first getting to decide from one of two options.

There are a huge number of characters included, too. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman are obvious inclusions, but the game’s season pass includes Steve and Alex from Minecraft, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and more.

In our review, Jada Griffin awarded the game a 9 out of 10, saying, “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds fires on all cylinders with a fantastic roster, excellent courses, and lengthy list of customization options.”

That roster is only growing, too. The SpongeBob SquarePants pack will take players to Bikini Bottom, while there’s also a free update introducing NiGHTS, AiAi, and Tangle & Whisper. It’ll also come to Nintendo Switch 2 at long last on December 4.

Other standout offers in Nintendo's Black Friday sale includes a big discount on the best microSD express card right now. It's for the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card, now just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount.

When it comes to games, my top pick is Super Mario Odyssey right now, which ranked fourth on IGN's "Top 100 Nintendo Games of All Time", for just 30 bucks.

For more deals, you should also check out every PS5 game that's discounted at part of PlayStation's brand new Black Friday offers. There's some big discounts on first party PlayStation games in the sale especially from the past few years. My top pick is Game of the Year 2024 winner, Astro Bot, for $39.99, which is endless amounts of fun.

EE Store Has The Cheapest Black Friday Deal on PlayStation 5 in the UK

Looking for a decent deal on a PlayStation 5 in the UK before Black Friday proper hits? Well the online EE Store has the best deal on a PS5 overall right now, and there's plenty more where that came from. There's a ridiculous amount of console, PSVR2, PS Portal, DualSense and accessory deal in their Early Black Friday offers, so you might aswell get yourself sorted right now. If you'd sooner pay monthly, there's plenty of discounted deals live right now too, so let's get straight into it:

The Best PS5 Early Black Friday Deal in the UK

Even if you don't like Football or sports games in general, this PS5 Slim Digital console with a digital code for FC 26 is a banger of a deal for £285. You're usually talking around £400 for just the console on any given day, so £115 off with the option to add a disk drive on later on is ridiculous. Whilst I'd love someone to come along and beat this deal, I very much doubt it's going to happen during Black Friday 2025.

More PS5 Console Deals

Don't fancy going all digital? No problem, there's plenty of other deals knocking around on EE for PS5 right now. The thought of bagging a PS5 Pro with a game boxed in for £585 is mental, which is also cheaper than a bog standard Xbox Series X. It would be rude not to, right? If you're not bothered about FC 26, you can just get the PS5 Pro on its own and save £10, winner.

If you fancy something different and love Ghost of Yōtei, the gold limited edition console is £90 off rocking a tidy £428 price tag, which is £53 more than the standard Slim Disk PS5. So it's down to you is cosmetic are that much important, but it's cheaper than reshelling a DualSense and PS5 if you was thinking of saving money that way.

Pay Monthly PS5 Deals

It's always best practice to buy things outright, but it's not always practical. If you're in that boat EE have some decent early Black Friday deals on 24 month contract console deals, and they've all got some decent stuff bundled in. Unlike buying things outright from EE Store, contract console deals are only available to EE customers as a bill add on.

The cheapest option here is the PS5 Digital Slim, which works out at £466 by the time you've paid it off but comes with a £100 PSN voucher to get a years PlayStation+ Extra subscription. So you'll be paying £366 for the console. That's £86 more than just buying the Black Friday deal above outright, but you're getting the convenience of monthly payments.

PS5 DualSense and Controller Deals

Some cool options and deals here to, with the best being a DualSense Edge controller for under £170, crazy talk. This bad boy has fully adjustable triggers and remappable buttons with a longer battery life to boot. Don't want to shell out so much for a controller? The standard DualSense is down to £42, with an extra £4 scoring you the Chroma edition. If you liked the look of that Ghost of Yōtei PS5 you can just pick up the DualSense controller instead for £55, £20 off it's usual price.

PSVR2, Portal and Accessory Deals

IF you want to go all in with the full PlayStation 5 lineup, it's going to cost you significantly less with these early Black Friday deals. PSVR2 is down to £299.99, that's a massive £100 off. If you also fancy making the most out of PlayStation+ Premium's cloud gaming feature, PS Portal is the best way to do it. It's now down to £175, £25 off its full fat price. The Pulse bluetooth headset and earbuds are down too, now at £105 and £165 respectfully.

PSVR 2 and Portal Pay Monthly Deals

You can also take out a 24 months pay monthly deal on PSVR2 and PlayStation Portal. It's going to cost more than just buying them as expected, but you do get a £50 EE Gamecard. This can be redeemed on games, subscription and other gaming gubbins on the EE Game Store which is a bonus. All need £10 upfront, then the PS Portal is £12 PM and PSVR2 is £22 PM.

Nintendo's 2025 Black Friday Sale is Officially Live

Nintendo's official Black Friday 2025 sale is now live across all major retailers. From Nov. 23-29, fans can score up to 50% off a slew of Switch and Switch 2 games, some top discounts on memory cards, and rock bottom prices on amiibo.

My favorite deal for Nintendo fans right now is on the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card for just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount. This is the best option for expanding your Switch 2's internal memory.

When it comes to games, my top pick is Super Mario Odyssey right now, which ranked fourth on IGN's "Top 100 Nintendo Games of All Time", for just 30 bucks.

There's also Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake, Splatoon 3, and more down to $29.99, alongside Luigi Mansion 3, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD at $39.99.

Several third-party games are also discounted as part of the sale, including Star Wars Outlaws (including all its DLC) for $39.99 on Switch 2, $20 off its original list price.

Final Fantasy's 1-6 Pixel Collection is also down to $39.99. That's $35 off, and the lowest price ever on the game. There are also several other big Black Friday discounts on Switch games like the Dragon Quest HD-2D Remakes, Just Dance 2026, and more.

However, not all deals are yet live, and fans should keep an eye out for more discounts over the coming days as well.

There's also Nintendo's Cyber Monday offerings to consider, from Nov. 30 - Dec. 1, including a $20 discount on more Switch 2 microSD Express cards.

If the Samsung P9 microSD card deal is still a little too steep for you, you're better off waiting until Cyber Monday to secure a discount on the 256GB memory cards instead.

Dropping from $59.99 to $39.99, this will certainly catch the attention of Switch 2 owners, especially since microSD Express cards are the only option for expanding their console's internal storage.

This is a great deal, but I'd personally still opt for the $74.99, 512GB option, as that's definitely the best deal for Switch 2 owners right now.

You can find all of Nintendo's Black Friday deals at the digital Nintendo eShop, as well as at participating retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.

But, notably absent from the sale are the Switch consoles. For most of the original Switch’s life cycle, Nintendo would offer the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Switch bundle during its Black Friday sale.

But this year, it's nowhere to be seen. With the Switch 2 now regularly available, the infamous bundle offering appears to have been retired, at least for now.

That said, while Nintendo isn’t offering any console discounts, you can still easily find the standard-priced Nintendo Switch 2 bundles in stock at all retailers.

They're slightly discounted compared to buying the console and game separately: Mario Kart World's bundle saving you $30, and the Pokémon bundle saving you $20.

Unfortunetly, there also aren't any official discounts on Nintendo's first-party Switch 2 games like Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Legends Z-A. But, we're still on the look out for any surprise discounts in the meantime.

How Do These Deals Compare to Last Year?

In all honesty, this year’s deals are a mixed bag. $30 for a Switch game like Super Mario Odyssey is a genuinely strong offer, but some other standout Switch or Switch 2 titles aren’t seeing similar discounts. It’s the kind of deal that makes you sit up and take notice, but it’s also the exception rather than the rule.

Take The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Last year, the original Switch version fell to just $29.99, which was a huge saving and a no-brainer for anyone who hadn’t picked it up yet. This year, there’s a Switch 2 edition, which changes the dynamic completely.

Nintendo hasn’t discounted it, and at $70, it’s a tough sell unless you’re set on upgrading. The lesson is clear: the game is still desirable, but Nintendo isn’t willing to undercut its new hardware launch.

That’s the broader picture this year. With Switch 2 now on the market, Nintendo is holding firm, offering few bargains unless absolutely necessary. That goes for consoles, the biggest new games, and pretty much everything else. Deals exist, but they’re selective, and if you’re hunting for the same kind of price drops we saw last year, you’re going to be disappointed in some areas.

More Black Friday Deals

Nintendo wasn't the first to kick off its Black Friday sale, as PlayStation started things off a few days ago, discounting plenty of games and dropping the price of its PS5 consoles by at least $100.

Amazon and Best Buy have already long started their official Black Friday sales, both of which will carry on all the way through to Cyber Monday on December 1.

Walmart is already featuring deals from both PlayStation and Nintendo's sales, but its official discounts don't start until November 25, or November 24 for those with a Walmart+ membership.

Are you planning to pick up anything in Nintendo's Black Friday sale?

Dell and Alienware UK Is Now Live and I'm Going To End Up Skint

You heard it right, Alienware and Dell UK just launched their Black Friday deals in the UK and the brand tax is gone. The amount of ridiculous deals on display right now is baffling, and I'm here for it (I've warned my bank account).

TL:DR Dell UK Black Friday Sale

There's something for everyone here, from someone wanting a cheeky workhorse for their work from home job so absolute behemoths that can handle ray tracing and are loaded with the latest and greatest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series graphics cards.

I've sectioned their selection off and picked out the best budget, mid-range and high-end options for each, just to show there's literally something for everyone in here. So let's not waste any time and get straight into it:

Alienware Gaming Desktop, Laptop and Accessory Deals

Let's kick things off with a decent gaming laptop budget deal, the Alienware 16 Aurora. This particular model is £699 and comes loadied with an RTX 3050, which is two generations old but still packs a punch . You can even run a stripped back version of DLSS 4 on it, although you won't get multi frame generation.

It'll still rock Super Resolution (Upscaling) and Ray Reconstruction features. Granted this is quite a big setback, but running games at lower resolutions then turning on Super Resolution will push the hardware on this laptop way beyond it's benchmarks. 16GB DDR5 is plenty and the processor isn't bad, so 1080p gaming native on most games is very possible with decent frame rates. Plus, there's always something good knocking around on Github to squeese more performance out of that overridden DLSS 4.

For mid-range i'd go with either the £1,399 Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop or the $1549 Alienware 16X Aurora Gaming Laptop, which should get similar performance. What you have to look out for with gaming laptops is the dedicated graphics won't have the same performance as their full-fat desktop counterpart. So whilst getting a 5060Ti over a 5070 sounds like madness, there's not going to be much difference when it comes to headroom playing natively.

Regardless, you're still getting the full DLSS4 experience, which means upscaled resolutions, frame generation and the best ray tracing experience with Blackwell architecture. It's actually insane lowering native resolution on games and seeing what the 5000 series GPUs can do with upscalling and generating extra frames. But in all honesty you'd have no problems getting high frames and max settings out of most games on either setup.

The high-end option here is a bit more nitche, but if you're looking for incrimental improvements that add up, the £2,049 Alienware 18 Area 51 is for you. Compared to the $500 cheaper 16X Aurora, you get an extra 2-inch on your screen with a 60Hz refresh rate upgrade to 300Hz and slightly faster DDR5 RAM, upgrading from 5,600 MT/s to 6,400 MT/s. The GPU is still an 8GB GDDR7 RTX 5070, and the processor has slighly different clock speeds from 2.1/5.4GHz to Area 51's 2.4GHz/5.2GHz. In the grand scheme of things the really isn't going to make much difference.

If you want value for money with your gaming laptop purchase, my money would be on the $1,549 Alienware 16X Aurora. An extra $500 for minimal upgrades isn't really worth it for my personally.

Alienware Gaming Monitor Deals

If you've got a rig capable of 4K 60FPS performance at minimum, the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED is a ridiculously good deal for £663.56. That's £245.43 below the usual price and a cracking Black Friday deal. It has all the dream specs anyone would want from a gaming monitor, 4K resolution @ 240Hz and a 0.03ms response time backed up by a gorgeous 32-inch HDR-capable OLED display.

It's also G-SYNC and VESA Adaptive Sync compatible with 1 DisplayPort that supports 1.4 and 2.3, 2x HDMI 2.1 and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. You can even adjust the height, tilt and swivel with built in cable management and RGB light at the back. It literally is the perfect monitor

Budget-wise, Alienware 27-inch gaming monitor has all the decent 1440p specifications you need for PC gaming for £153.30. Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync and Vesa AdaptiveSync are all supported, with 2 HDMI Ports and 1 Display Port 1.4. 2ms GTG (Super Fast Setting) response time is well within the limits of what you'd want too, all for £65.70 less than RRP. It's not got the flashy OLED screen, but it's a 27-inch Fast IPS screen for the cost of a couple of AAA games, not a bad deal at all.

Looking for something that packs more punch for a slightly higher price point? the 27-inch AW2723DF is the way to go. You're looking at a 1440p screen still, but this bad bow has a higher 240Hz refresh rate and a much better 1ms Response Time. The screen itself is still 27-inch but it's a nano color fast IPS screen, meaning you're going to get more refined and accurate colour representation. For me this is the best 1440p option that builds on the budget 27-inch gaming monitor in every way.

Dell Laptop Deals

Now I've got all that gaming excitement out of my system, let's concentrate on the workhorses for the grown ups (Oh hi Peter Pan syndrome). If you want something that's going to pack more of a punch than a Chromebook that runs Windows and is ideal for web surfing, day-to-day tasks and streaming, Dell 15 at £268.99 is a solid budget laptop.

It has enough RAM and storage to get things done, and the UHD integrated Intel graphics are going to make everything look nice. It's not going to do much else, but if you're not bothered about running photoshop and getting basic tasks done it doesn't matter.

If you want something mid-range that will fit most use cases bar anything outside of indie gaming, Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1 is a cool choice for £499. Again, it's going to cover day-to-day tasks including streaming, and is a good option for digital artwork and light photo/video editing. It's the angled tablet fold-over design that makes it perfect for drawing, although if you're looking for something that's going to double as a drawing tablet for heavy and professional workloads this might not be powerful enough.

XPS 13 at £1,099 is going to be more suitable for creative work, featuring a Snapdragon X Elite with a dedicated Qualcomm Adreno GPU. These new SoC (System on a Chip) setups are gaining popularity because of how efficient they are at handling local AI tasks (Processing offline on your device instead of an online server). You're getting a much better screen, buckets of RAM. You can also get a non-touchscreen variant that will knock £100 off the final price too.

Dell Desktop Deals

For me these deals come down to two models. If you fancy something capable of handling 4K gaming with ray tracing whilst being a good all-rounder for high-demand tasks without looking like a gaming rig, Dell Tower Plus for £1,498.99 is a beast. It's loaded with an RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5 Ram and a Ultra 7 265 processor.

After a sleek desktop setup that saves on space? Dell 24 All-In-One is a beautiful bit of kit for under £570. The Ultra i5 processor and 16GB DDR5 RAM is plenty to make that FHD screen shine and is a great family PC option.

Dell Monitor Deals

All of these deals are pretty good budget to midrange offers, most noticably the 4K options for under £560. It just depends if you fancy 4K content or not in all honesty.

Zelda amiibo Drop to Just $10, a Black Friday Deal So Good It Might Literally Be an Pricing Error

Nintendo thankfully isn't dropping amiibo support for Switch 2, and right now that matters because some of the best Zelda figures have quietly crashed to just $9.99 ahead of Black Friday.

Sidon, Riju, Tulin, and Yunobo are all heavily discounted as the Nintendo Black Friday sale kicks off today, and honestly, deals this aggressive usually disappear fast.

Amazon has dropped Riju and Sidon to $9.99, while Best Buy has matched that price on Tulin and Yunobo. Street Fighter amiibo are also discounted for Black Friday, sitting at $14.99 at Best Buy, if that's also of interest.

Each of these was supposedly only meant to get a $10 cut for Black Friday, so either the retailers blinked or someone mispriced them. Either way, grab all of these before the correction hits, because this will not last.

Each figure launched at $29.99, so seeing them down to $9.99 means you're saving 66% and shaving $20 off every amiibo. That's even stronger than the midyear sale, when they bottomed out between $14.99 and $19.99 at Amazon.

And if you're wondering what they actually do in-game, all four of the Zelda figures unlock content in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, while the Street Fighter sets unlock content for Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2. All of which will be compatible with the Animal Crossing 3.0 update in January 2026, as well.

For the Zelda figures, tap any of them via NFC while playing Tears of the Kingdom and you'll get exclusive paraglider fabric options, extra materials, and a weapon or rare item. Being part of the Zelda line also means they can unlock bonuses elsewhere. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening includes amiibo-exclusive Chamber Dungeons, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gives you a new Mii racing suit.

If you're playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2 with the upgrade pack, you're getting a much smoother ride. The update bumps up frame rate and resolution, cleaning up the original's only real flaw, its performance.

As Tom Marks put it in his review update, ”This [Switch 2 upgrade] really does feel like the way this game was always meant to be played, and I’m thrilled by the idea of a new generation discovering it for the first time.” Hard to disagree.

Nintendo Switch 2 MicroSD Express Cards on sale for Black Friday in the UK

It looks like a great time to upgrade that Nintendo Switch 2 256GB internal storage with a MicroSD Express card this Black Friday, and deals have already surfaced.

Express MicroSDs are the new standard for Nintendo Switch 2, with standard MicroSD cards not working, but this also bring faster read/write speeds and meets the demands of games amde specifically for Nintendo Switch 2.

Black Friday MicroSD Express Cards

The best deal here is the 1TB Lexar MIcroSD Express for £169.99, which is down by £30 from £199.99. It's the best bang for your buck when it comes to paying for raw storage, and has the fastest read speeds out of the MicroSD Express cards on offer at the moment. Whilst the Write speeds are the lowest out of the offers, it's hardly going to make a real difference in real world applications.

For less than half that price you can grab a Sandisk 512GB model which has an extra 50MB/s write speed and 20MB/s less read speeds, which is again so minimal you won't notice and is a damn sight easier on your pocket when it comes to its price point. It's usually £86.99, but there's a cheeky Black Friday 8% off bringing it down to £79.99. I wouldn't turn my nose down at saving £16.99 in all honesty.

If you just want to double your Nintendo Switch 2 storage capacity, there's two options available for you in these early Black Friday deals. The Sandisk 256GB card has the same specifications as the 512GB model, then you have the officially licenced Samsung alternative tht's red and has the Mario "M" stamped on the front of it. This has the fastest write speeds of the bunch at 800 MB/s with a respectable 800MB/s read speeds. The Samsung 256GB card is more of a good all-rounder MIcroSD Express card than the SanDisk one, so I'd pay the extra and get that instead.

Get the 2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro Earbuds for $108, Half the Cost of the AirPods Pro 3 for Black Friday

Why pay over $200 for the new AirPods 3 when you can get the 2nd generation model for literally half the price? Ahead of Black Friday, Woot (which is owned by Amazon), is selling factory reconditioned 2nd gen Apple AirPods Pro earbuds for just $107.99 after you apply a 20% off coupon code "EARBUDS20" in cart. Amazon Prime members get free shipping, otherwise there's a $5 delivery fee. This is the second generation model with USB Type-C charging and MagSafe charging case. Although these are refurb units, they include a 1 year Amazon warranty.

Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) for $108

Factory reconditioned with 1 year Amazon warranty

The AirPods Pro is the best-sounding "truly wireless" earbuds for iPhone users thanks to its passively isolating in-ear design combined with excellent active noise cancelation, low-distortion driver and amp, and the Apple H2 chip. It also has useful features like Adaptive Transparency Mode, which lets you better hear your surroundings without removing your earbuds, and Conversation Mode, which automatically enhances the voices of people you're talking to. The second generation AirPods Pro replaces the Lightning port with a more universal USB Type-C port so you don't have to mix and match cables, and also includes a MagSafe charging case as standard.

The AirPods Pro 3 is better, but is worth twice the cost?

Currently there's a Black Friday deal that drops the price of the newer AirPods Pro 3 to $219.99. That's a welcome discount for sure, but it's still double the price of the 2nd gen AirPods Pro 2 deal here. The new AirPods Pro 3 are without a doubt an improvement over the 2nd gen AirPods pro, but it's your call as to whether or not those improvements are worth double the price. Here's a rundown of what's improved this time around:

TL;DR: AirPods Pro 3 improvements

  • Better audio quality
  • Better noise cancelation
  • Built-in heart rate sensing
  • Longer battery life (8hrs vs 6hrs)
  • More weatherproof (IP57 vs IP54)

USB Type-C has become the standard for charging and data cables alike, so it's good to have extra on hand. With this Black Friday deal, here's your chance to get some quality cables at a throwaway price. Amazon is offering a two-pack of Lisen 6.6ft 240W USB Type-C cables for just $5.60 after you apply coupon code "OFU5KCSD". That averages out to $2.80 per cable. USB Type-C cables typically go for about $10 per cable or more at your local big box store. These can charge nearly any device with a USB-C port, including your Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone 16, or even the new M4 MacBook.

2-Pack of Lisen 6.6ft 240W USB Type-C Cables for $5.60

Keep your cable collection simple. These cables measure 6.6 feet in length, which is a great general purpose length: long enough to still be able to use your device while the cable is plugged in, but not so long as to be an unnecessary nuisance. These cables are also rated for up to 240W of power delivery, which means they can be used to charge even high powered electronics like your laptop. They're encased in a braided nylon sheath for extra durability and aeshetics. Lisen claims that they've been lab tested for up to 40,000+ bends and 175lb tensile pulls, "equivalent to a decade of daily extreme use". These cables have 5,000 ratings on Amazon with an average 4.6 star rating.

Amazon's Best Black Friday Meta Quest 3S Deal Is Now Live, Up to $120 Off in Total Savings

Prospective VR gamers alert, Amazon just kicked off its best Black Friday deals on the Meta Quest 3S VR headset. Not only do you save $50-$70 off in instant discounts ($249 for the 128GB model and $329 for the 256GB model), you now get a bonus $50 Amazon credit with either purchase. That's basically getting a Quest 3S headset for as low as $199, plus you get a free game. This is the best deal I've seen from Amazon this year on a Quest 3S headset with warranty.

Note that Best Buy is offering similar Meta Quest 3S deals for Black Friday, but with a $50 Best Buy gift card. Amazon credit is arguably more versatile than a Best Buy gift card, but you should go with the Best Buy deal if you prefer to get The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners instead of Gorilla Tag as your free game.

Meta Quest 3S Starting at $249 Plus $50 Amazon Credit

Also at Best Buy with $50 eGift Card

The Meta Quest 3S is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset under $300. It costs 40% less than the Quest 3 and yet retains most of its hardware and functionality, including the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, Touch Plus controllers with inside-out tracking, and mixed reality passthrough. However, whereas the Quest 3 has been updated with a new pancake lens design, the Quest 3S retains the Fresnel optics of the Quest 2. Although obviously not as good as the Quest 3, the Quest 3S still very much offers an immersive visual experience that is sure to impress. I myself logged in hundreds of hours on the Quest 2 before I moved on to the Quest 3. For newcomers who want to try out VR gaming without investing tons of money, of for people who want to give this as a gift to someone who's never tried VR, I would recommend the Quest 3S over the Quest, especially at this price.

TL;DR Quest 3S vs Quest 3:

  • Same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor
  • Same Touch Plus controllers
  • Same 120Hz refresh rate
  • Same Mixed reality passthrough functionality
  • Same tetherless and tethered functionality
  • Quest 3 has sharper resolution (2064x2208 vs 1832x1920)
  • Quest 3 has better lens array (pancake vs fresnel)
  • Quest 3 has lower FOV (104°/96° vs 96°/90°)
  • Quest 3 has higher storage capacity (512GB vs 128GB)

Marvel's Deadpool VR game is now available

"Marvel's Deadpool VR adds to a growing roster of great licensed superhero games that help prove VR games can be more than shallow tie-ins. Its kinetic combat system kept me engaged for the entire 10-hour campaign, and the alternate Deadpool variants with genuinely funny unique dialogue made replaying levels feel worthwhile rather than like padding. As the default Deadpool, however, Neil Patrick Harris’s performance delivers exactly what you'd hope for, and the reality show framing enhances the overall story rather than feeling gimmicky. If you’re up for dark, low-brow comedy and fourth-wall-breaking meta-humor, then this is easily the most complete and entertaining superhero VR experience since Batman: Arkham Shadow. Just make sure you're playing on Quest 3 to get the most out of its vibrant visuals."

Save $1,200 off the Powerful Alienware Area-51 GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming PC for Black Friday

If you're seeking the absolute best of the best in PC gaming performance, look no further. Just for Black Friday, Dell has kicked off the best deal I've seen on a top-shelf Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 equipped gaming PC. Right now you can get a very well-equipped configuration for $4,299.99 after a massive $1,200 off instant discount. Complementing the uber powerful RTX 5090 GPU is a liquid cooled Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and a generous amount of RAM and SSD storage.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 Gaming PC From $4,299.99

This system is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with upgraded 360mm liquid cooling, 32GB of DDR5-6400MHz RAM, and a 2TB SSD. The 1,500W 80Plus Platinum power supply is generously rated to take on even the most power hungry of gaming PCs, and that's important in this case because a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has a minimum recommended rating of 1,000W. A 1,500W power supply will leave you plenty of room for upgrades down the road.

New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis

Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis is a super-sized upgrade to the 2024 R16 system with aesthetic and cooling redesigns and updated components. The I/O panel is positioned at the top of the case instead of the front, and the tempered glass window now spans the entire side panel instead of just a smaller cutout. As a result, the side panel vents are gone, and instead air intakes are located at the bottom as well as the front of the case. Alienware is now pushing a positive airflow design (more intake than exhaust airflow), which means a less dusty interior. The internal components have been refreshed with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and bigger power supply to accommodate the new generation of CPUs and GPUs.

The RTX 5090 Is the Most Powerful Graphics Card Ever

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 has emerged as the most powerful consumer GPU on the market. Although with this generation Nvidia has prioritized software updates, AI features, and DLSS 4 technology to improve gameplay performance, the 5090 still boasts an impressive 25%-30% uplift over the RTX 4090 in hardware-based raster performance. If you want the absolute best performance for your gaming PC, there is literally no other option from any other brand.

Save 25% Off a 512GB Nintendo Switch 2 Memory Card for Black Friday, Made by Samsung

Nintendo Switch 2 owners have reason to rejoice because there's a new Black Friday deal on one of the most important accessories you can get for your console. Starting now, Amazon is offering the recently released Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express card for just $74.99 after a 25% off instant discount. Alternatively, the 256GB model is also on sale for $47.47, but you might want to pass on that deal; Nintendo has already announced that the official Switch 2 256GB memory card (which, by the way, is also made by Samsung) will drop to $39.99 on Cyber Monday.

Samsung P9 512GB MicroSD Express Card for $74.99

The Nintendo Switch 2 is only compatible with MicroSD Express memory cards. Samsung's P9 is pretty much identical to the official Switch 2 memory card but without the Switch 2 branding. The P9 is also available in a 512GB capacity, unlike the official card which is limited to 256GB. The Samsung P9 boasts transfer (sequential read) speeds of up to 800MB/s, far far faster than any former generation MicroSD card, which caps at well under 200MB/s for even the fastest models.

If you don't yet own a Switch 2, now might be a good time to get one. It's now in stock everywhere, including Amazon, without any invitation required. Nintendo also recently raised prices on Switch 2 accessories and warned that the console itself might see a price hike in the near future. I don't expect any sales on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles during Black Friday and the only way to get one cheaper would be buying an imported model from AliExpress or used consoles from eBay or other marketplaces. Check out our Nintendo Switch 2 review, in which Tom Mark aptly describes the new console as "a vital but unexciting upgrade to a console I already love."

The Alienware Black Friday Sale Kicks Off Now with Some Amazing Deals on Gaming PCs and Laptops

The Dell Black Friday Sale kicks off early this year with some outstanding deals on Alienware gaming PCs, gaming laptops, and gaming monitors. This is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your gaming PC so that you can play recently released games like Battlefield 6 or Ghost of Yotei in glorious 4k with buttery smooth framerates. Several of these deals are the lowest prices I've seen all year long, including some huge discounts on "Like New" models from Dell Outlet.

Alienware Early Black Friday Gaming Laptop Deals

Alienware Outlet Early Black Friday Deals

You can quickly browse through all of the listed products on sale above. See below for our favorite picks.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC

Ahead of Black Friday, Dell just launched one of the best deals I've seen this year on a generously equipped Alienware Aurora R16 GeForce RTX 5080 gaming PC. It's normally listed at $3,199.99, but a $900 off discount drops it to just $2,299.99 with free shipping. Although I've seen other less expensive Alienware RTX 5080 systems in the past, this is a better deal because it features an upgraded Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and double the memory and storage capacities for just a slightly higher cost. The Alienware brand itself also normally commands a higher price point, but this Black Friday deal is extremely reasonable compared to similarly equipped prebuilts from other brands.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 & 5080 Gaming PC

If you're seeking the absolute best of the best in PC gaming performance, look no further. Alienware has just dropped the price of its flagship prebuilt gaming PC equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for just $4,299.99 with free shipping. This is the lowest price I've seen for an Alienware 5090 gaming PC and it has been upgraded with an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, double the storage capacity, and 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling. The price is actually competitive compared to other boutique PC builders. The Alienware Area-51 is also on sale for the lowest price I've seen this year.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC

Of the new GeForce cards, the RTX 5070 Ti is considered the best bang for your buck for 4K gaming. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super (and better in games that support DLSS 4), which means it is capable of high framerates in all games, even at 4K resolution. It also has the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080, making it a more economical alternative to the 5080 for AI work. Check out our Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 Ti GPU review.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5060 Ti Gaming PC

The RTX 5060 Ti is the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and delievers a roughly 15%-20% improvement in games. That's a better generational uplift than the RTX 5070 (over the RTX 4070). This is absolutely the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming from a value perspective and much more future-proof than an RTX 5060 (non-Ti) gaming PC.

Alienware Aurora 16 and 16X Gaming Laptops

Alienware's new mainstream gaming laptop for 2025 is dubbed the "Alienware Aurora" and it replaces the previous generation's x16 and m16 series of laptops. It comes in two models: the 16 and 16X. The 16 is the more economical model, but gamers should definitely opt for the higher-end 16X model. If you're looking for build quality and performance on par with the previous generation m16, then the 16X is its spiritual successor. It features an anodized aluminum lid and base, a higher quality display, a more powerful CPU, and a GPU that isn't throttled for maximum gaming performance.

Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops

New for 2025, the Alienware Area-51 gaming laptop features an anodized aluminum shell for both the lid and bottom chassis with a gorgeous iridescent finish. The frame is made of a durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. Cooling has been upgraded with generous amounts of copper and a new thermal interface material to better transfer heat away from your hottest components as well as more fans and bigger cutouts for greater airflow. Dell claims that the laptop can handle a higher power ceiling of up to 240W TDP without raising acoustics.

Design-wise, the Area 51 has a sleeker, more contoured shape compared to previous models, with rounded edges and soft corners replacing the traditional squared off design. The hinges are internally positioned so that they're near invisible. There's a transparent window on the undercarriage to show off the internal components. As befits an Alienware laptop, there's plenty of RGB illunimation, although most of it can be turned off if you want your laptop to be a bit more subtle.

"Like New" Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops at Dell Outlet

The Alienware Area-51 is Dell's best and boldest lineup of gaming laptops for 2025 and they've just dropped to the lowest prices I've seen for Black Friday. Dell Outlet typically stocks "Like New" Alienware 16 Area-51 gaming laptops at anywhere between 10%-35% off retail price. However, for Black Friday, there's an additional 18% discount that's automatically applied in your shopping cart. Configurations include RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and even RTX 5090 GPUs. Note that "Like New" models are certified refurbished and include the same 1 year warranty as buying new.

34" Alienware AW3423DWF QD OLED Gaming Monitor

Black Friday kicks off with a bang thanks to one of the best deals I've seen for an OLED monitor. Dell just dropped the price on the venerable 34" Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED gaming monitor from $900 to just $499.99 shipped. This is one of Alienware's highest end gaming monitors, with a gorgeous QD OLED panel, WQHD resolution, and a respectable 165Hz refresh rate. Best of all, Alienware OLED monitors include a 3 year warranty that includes OLED burn-in protection.

32" Alienware AW3225QF 4K QD OLED Gaming Monitor

If you've got a powerful enough gaming PC to run games in 4K at high framerates, then you might want to future-proof your setup with one of the best OLED gaming monitors available. The Alienware AW3225QF was first announced during CES 2024 and is Dell's one of few OLED monitors that combine a 4K resolution with an OLED panel. It also has a higher 240Hz refresh rate and official G-Sync certification.

The Audible Black Friday Deal Is Live - Get 3 Months of Premium Plus for $0.99/mo, Plus $20 in Audible Credit

Audible's Black Friday deal has already kicked off, and it's one of the best I've seen in quite a while. Starting now and running through December 1 (Cyber Monday), new and returning Audible subscribers can sign up for three months of Audible Premium Plus for just $0.99 per month. Even better, you also get a bonus $20 in Audible credit that you can use on any audibook of your choice. Finally, as part of the Premium Plus subscription, you also get a free audiobook of your choice every month, and you get to keep it indefinitely even after your subscription expires.

Since this is an Amazon Prime exclusive deal, you'll need to be logged into your Prime account to see this promotion. As long as you're not a current subscriber, you should be eligible. After the three months is up, your subscription will convert to the standard $14.95/mo, so make sure to cancel beforehand if you don't want to continue with the service. I haven't confirmed this, but you could potentially use your bonus Audible credit to get one more free month of Premium Plus.

3 Free Months of Audible Premium Plus

Audible is a subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of thousands of the best audiobooks without ever having to purchase them. There are two paid membership plans: the lower tier Audible Plus ($7.95/mo) and the higher tier Audible Premium Plus ($14.95/mo). The biggest difference between the two is the size of the audiobook library. Whereas Audible Plus only lets you listen to a selection of about 10,000 audiobooks, the Audible Premium Plus plan gives you access to a whopping 500,000 audiobooks.

Premium Plus includes other perks as well. Every month Premium Plus members get to pick one audiobook to keep in their library indefinitely, even after the membership expires. Also, Premium Plus members can get 30% off any additional audiobooks they wish to purchase in addition to exclusive limited-time discounts.

If you were already planning to purchase a couple of audiobooks, then it makes more sense to pay less than $3 to get three audiobooks you get to keep indefinitely and enjoy all the benefits of Audible Premium Plus for three months. This deal only pops up a few times per year, so don't waste your "first-time subscriber" eligibility status on a short 30-day trial.

Catch up the the latest novel releases, audiobook style

Several best-selling new and recent releases are available in an audiobook format and part of Audible's Premium Plus subscription plan. Sunrise on the Reaping, the latest Hunger Games novel, is narrated by Jefferson White, who you may already know from Yellowstone where he played Jimmy Hudstrom. The audiobook has a listening time of about 12 hours and 48 minutes. Stephen King released his Never Flinch crime novel in May 27 and it's also available as a nearly 15-hour long audiobook narrated by veteran Jessie Mueller. If you're a fan of Brandon Sanderson, check out Wind and Truth, book five of the popular The Stormlight Archive series. It was released in December of 2024 and runs an epic 63 hours long.
