FSP is expanding its CPU cooler line-up with three new air coolers. The new line-up includes the high-efficiency MP7 as well as the powerful NP5, and NE5 models. Optimised for the latest Intel and AMD CPUs, these coolers are compatible with Intel LGA-1851 and AMD AM5 sockets.
The MP7, NP5, and NE5 cooler series utilise ‘anti-gravity' heat pipe technology, which is supposed to enhance cooling in vertical motherboard configurations. Additionally, the MP7 features a copper base with heat pipe welding, increasing the contact area with the CPU to aid heat dissipation.
The MP7 cooler series is equipped with six 6mm heat pipes, each carefully positioned to improve heat transfer from the CPU, along with a high-density fin design and two 120mm PWM FDB fans with anti-vibration rubber pads. For users who enjoy vibrant lighting effects, the MP7 and NP5 series offer ARGB versions. For those who prefer a more understated look, the all-black versions are available.
The NP5 ARGB will hit the US market at $27.90 while the black version costs a little more at $29.90. The MP7 ARGB and MP7 Black are priced at $47.90 and $49.90 respectively.

While the Steam Early Access program has been a huge success for many titles, from small indie hits to large AAA games like Baldur's Gate 3, there are plenty of bad actors who have also taken advantage of the program. Steam Early Access has had a problem with abandoned projects since it first launched. Now, Valve is finally looking to tackle this issue head-on.
Moving forward, Early Access titles on the Steam Store will display a warning, letting buyers know when a game has potentially been abandoned by clearly showing how many months have passed since a game's last update.
As an example, the publisher behind ARK: Survival Evolved, Snail Games, signed on to be the publisher for another massively popular early access MMO, Atlas. The game launched back in 2018 and sold quite well at the time. However, the game has not been updated in over 20 months. As a result, the Atlas page on Steam now states that “the last update made by the developers was over 20 months ago. The information and timeline described by the developers may no longer be up to date”.
Grav, another Early Access title released in 2015 that aimed to cash in on the No Man's Sky hype around that same time period, now has a warning stating that the game has not been updated in a whopping seven years, despite still being sold on the store.
This will hopefully discourage bad actors from abandoning projects, or at the very least, encourage them to remove games from sale on the Steam Store once abandoned, as new customers heading to the page will be immediately warned of a game's abandoned status.
KitGuru Says: It is about time Valve started to do something about the number of abandoned projects in Early Access. My next question is, should Valve allow abandoned early access games to carry a price tag? I feel there is a way to support small solo projects, without allowing blatant cash grabs to remain to gather profit. Perhaps after a two year cut-off without a news update, those games should simply be delisted?

According to a new report, Ubisoft is planning to reveal Rainbow Six Siege 2 later this month.
As reported by TGP, Rainbow Six Siege 2 is apparently set to be announced at the Six Invitational 2025 tournament, scheduled to take place between February 14th and 16th.
The game is said to be in development under the codename ‘Siege X' and could release as early as this Summer. The game will not repeat old events from the first game, instead focusing on new ones, although we'll no doubt see some fan-favourite events return eventually, assuming the sequel is a success.
It is a risky time to be launching sequels to live-service shooters. The transition from Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2 was fraught with backlash from fans, and even Valve saw some pushback for its shutdown of CS:GO in the transition to Counter-Strike 2. With that said, Rainbow Six Siege has been around since 2015 and at this point, the roster of agents is so large that it can be a hinderance for getting new players on board. A fresh reset in the form of a sequel is a good way to get around that.

Final Fantasy 16 also skipped Xbox consoles at launch last year. We've heard rumours about both titles finally heading to Xbox over the past year, and it looks like an announcement is just around the corner.
According to NateTheHate, someone who regularly shares leaks and rumours on social media, Final Fantasy 16 is going to release on Xbox in the first half of 2025. More specifically, it is scheduled for ‘Spring', which would place the launch anywhere between late March and late June.
As for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, that game is expected to land on Xbox in the second half of 2025, followed by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in 2026.
Both Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth were deemed as underwhelming sales-wise, in part thanks to the titles being exclusive to the PS5 at launch. Due to these lower-than-expected sales numbers, Square Enix has promised to reinvigorate its relationship with Microsoft and the Xbox team, and is focused on more multiplatform releases moving forward.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is Konami's remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, offering the same gripping story as the original, but with modern graphics and audio technologies to improve the stealth-action experience.
Aside from the main campaign, players will have a fun additional mode to try – Snake vs Monkey, a mode in which players will take control of Snake as he runs around levels capturing escaped apes. It might not be anything major, but could be a fun little addition for fans.

A month after sparking interest with a weird announcement at CES and following confirmation of a March release window, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su narrowed that down to “early March” during the recent Q4 2024 earnings call. Su stated that these cards will be available for purchase, not just pre-order, suggesting a full product launch by then.
This news somewhat corroborates the recent rumours of a dedicated AMD press briefing for the Radeon RX 9070 series in late February, a plan that now seems to be confirmed by Su's statement. Adding further credence to the timeline, Uniko's Hardware (via VideoCardz), citing a source, claims to have pinpointed the launch date to March 6th, echoing Su's “early March” timeframe.
It's worth recalling that the launch was initially slated for January 23rd but was pushed back. While AMD remains officially silent on the matter, the fact that many reviewers have already received RX 9070 cards for testing and reports of retail availability suggests that preparations are well underway. This additional six-week lead time could translate to healthier stock levels for the Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs, addressing a common concern with previous Radeon launches. Finally, it's important to note Su's specific mention of the 9070 series, suggesting that the initial launch won't likely include any other GPUs.
Meanwhile, Nvidia remains tight-lipped about its RTX 5070 series, the Radeon RX 9070's competitor. While previous reports point to a February 20th release for the RTX 5070 Ti, with the 5070 following later, no firm date for the latter has been officially announced. Unlike AMD, however, Nvidia has already revealed pricing for its upcoming cards, with the 5070 Ti expected to cost $749 and the 5070 to go for $549.

These revised standards mandate that developers ensure full support for all user-activated features within their game interfaces. Still, the most interesting part is that the guidelines state that Reflex Low Latency technology doesn't support other frame generation technologies except DLSS.
Reflex 2 uses Reflex Low Latency and the new Frame Warp, with the latter being exclusive to the RTX 50 series and thus only supported in the more recent drivers. On the other hand, Reflex Low Latency enjoys broad compatibility, extending back to Nvidia's Maxwell architecture and starting with the GeForce 455+ drivers.
Nvidia promotes Reflex technology alongside DLSS Frame Generation and DLSS Upscaling to minimise system latency by synchronising game rendering tasks. However, the latest developer guidelines (via Reddit) state that Reflex Low Latency is incompatible with other frame generation techniques, such as AMD's FSR.
While developers haven't typically provided an in-game toggle to enable Reflex when using alternative frame generation methods, workarounds exist through third-party tools like RivaTuner. However, based on what Nvidia says, forcing Nvidia Reflex via this third-party software while playing games using frame generation technologies other than DLSS may not give you any advantage.

As part of the latest Capcom Spotlight showcase, the publisher has now released the tool on Steam.
Available now through the Monster Hunter Wilds store page on Steam, all those planning to get the game when it releases at the end of the month can test out their rigs to see how the upcoming title performs, prior to spending any money unnecessarily.
Even if you took part in the first open beta test, you might want to give this new benchmark tool a go as it should more accurately reflect how Wilds will perform at launch due to being based on a newer build.
With the first open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds seeing almost half a million concurrent players on Steam alone, it’s safe to say that millions of fans are eagerly anticipating the game, and so knowing ahead of time whether it will run smoothly or not is welcome to see.

The post Monster Hunter Wilds standalone PC benchmark tool now available first appeared on KitGuru.Over the past year, Valve has introduced a ton of new quality of life improvements to its Steam platform, including but not limited to the revamped Family library sharing; game recording; increased transparency and more. In trying to further these efforts, the platform has now introduced a new system warning those wanting to buy Early Access games if the title has been left dormant.
As noted by SteamDB via Bluesky, Early Access games on Steam now feature a new system which highlights on the store page if the title has not been updated in a significant amount of time, with it writing:
“The last update made by the developers was over [X] months ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date.”
Alongside this, Valve includes any statements made by the developer regarding the lack of updates – assuming they’ve commented on the matter.
With Steam being one of the primary platforms which helped push the notion of Early Access into the mainstream, it is good to see Valve actively working to ensure such systems include as many protections for consumers as possible.

With nearly 200k concurrent players on Steam, the game is clearly a success. That said, we now have more concrete proof, with the team announcing that KCDII sold over 1 million copies in just 24 hours.
Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Warhorse Studios unveiled this milestone, writing “Over a million of you have stepped into our world. We're beyond grateful for your support – thank you for making #KCD2 a triumph!”
As mentioned, the first game launched all the way back in 2018 and while it did reach cult-hit status, its popularity only continued to further increase over the years – with the initial announcement of its sequel helping to push the game past 8 million copies.
Given the long-term success of the first game – and the current rapid success of its sequel – it’s safe to say that Kingdom Come Deliverance II has been worth the wait.
With two wins under their belt now, it will be interesting to see what Warhorse Studios does next.

The post Kingdom Come Deliverance II sold over 1 million copies in its first 24 hours first appeared on KitGuru.Last month, following years of leaks, rumours and speculation, Nintendo finally officially announced and unveiled the Switch 2. That said, the presentation was brief and focused solely on the physical attributes of the new hardware – with the company promising a more in-depth look later down the line. Finally, the company has confirmed that we will be getting out first proper deep-dive Direct on the Switch 2 in early April.
Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Nintendo UK page wrote the following “Join us on April 2nd at 14:00 (UK time) for #NintendoDirect: Nintendo Switch 2 – 02.04.2025, where we will share a closer look at #NintendoSwitch2.”
While we did not receive any further details, given the nature of the first showcase this upcoming Direct is likely to focus more on practical uses of the new hardware features, as well as the upcoming software launch line-up for the system.
During the first trailer, we did get a brief look at the next Mario Kart title alongside confirmation that it will support up to 24 players per race.
Beyond this however, we do not know what to expect – and given the history of Nintendo’s console reveals, who knows what they plan to show. We won’t have to wait too long to find out.

The Lian Li Digital Expo returns for 2025. If you are in the market for a new case, and you are looking to go with one of Lian Li's many aesthetically pleasing options, then the digital expo is a great way to preview some new and upcoming hardware.
Some of the highlights from the digital expo include new looks at the Lancool 217 and 207 Digital cases, the Lancool 4, the O11D Mini V2 and new AIO coolers and rotatable power supplies.
The LANCOOL 217 stands out thanks to its wood accents and comes with five pre-installed fans. This includes two 170mm front fans, two 120mm GPU cooling fans with reversed blades positioned over the PSU shroud, and a 140mm fan located at the back. Its dual PSU mounting options provide added flexibility for cable management. On the other side of the coin we have the Lancool 207 Digital, which is the same case we saw back in October, but ships with an additional 6-inch LCD screen for an extra touch of customisation in your build.
The Lancool 4 is the latest chassis to join the line-up, offering a modular design with interchangeable panels that you can swap out based on the needs of your build. The motherboard is adjustable, the PSU chamber is movable and the case supports a whopping 12 fans for cooling, allowing you to accommodate both air-cooling and liquid-cooling setups.
The O11D MINI V2 has a redesigned, space-efficient dual chamber that supports ATX motherboards, making it a great option for a compact but high-end PC build. Aside from ATX motherboard support, this case also supports Back Connect motherboards, where the power connectors have been moved to the backside of the board to keep cables out of sight without sacrificing any functionality. The GPU cooling has been improved with a bottom fan bracket angled at 10 degrees. Moreover, the O11D MINI V2 can now fit ATX-size PSUs due to a protruding mesh filter window on the right panel.
Moving on from cases, Lian Li also has some interesting power supplies on the market today. That includes the new RS Series PSU, which features a power port that can rotate towards the side of the PSU. This allows you to install the power supply in a rotated position for enhanced cable management and access without the need for extension cables.
On the cooling side, Lian Li is showcasing the new Hydroshift II LCD AIO cooler. Equipped with a slimmer 360mm radiator, a 60Hz LCD screen on the pump block and ARGB lighting, the AIO certainly looks the part for a high-end build.
To kit out your rig further, you may want to invest in some UNI Fans. The new UNI FAN SL-Infinity Wireless has a redesigned 4-wire receiver that ensures seamless motherboard fan speed control, enabling compatibility with PWM functionality and L-Connect’s MB RPM SYNC mode. The SL-INF Wireless receiver is also backward compatible with SL and TL Wireless models.

While board partners showcased their custom designs at CES 2025, AMD remained tight-lipped about the release date, leaving attendees and enthusiasts scratching their heads. Subsequent, somewhat cryptic social media posts from an AMD official hinted at a March launch, promising a dedicated event to unveil the new cards properly. However, nothing has been made official yet.
Now, whispers from the industry suggest that the RX 9070 series could be upon us sooner than expected. According to Benchlife (via @harukaze5719), AMD is aiming for an announcement before the end of this month. Interestingly, the Chinese website points to a press conference rather than a full-blown launch event. While AMD hasn't held a formal announcement event, the details of the new cards, including their names, did appear in their CES press kit, blurring the lines somewhat.
Although the report mentions the date for the event, it doesn't say anything regarding the actual release. However, the latest reports point to late March, so it could take about a month after the announcement to see the first Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs hitting the shelves.
While the usual suspects like stock levels and software optimisation might have been part of the reason for the delay of these cards, Nvidia has also undoubtedly played a significant role here. With the GeForce RTX 5070 series also expected to launch in the latter half of February, AMD is likely playing a waiting game, carefully assessing the market response to Nvidia's offerings before finalising its pricing strategy.

This week, AOC is launching its most wallet-friendly gaming monitors yet in the G42 series.
The new G42 series is perfect for those getting into PC gaming for the first time. Each of the new models offer Fast IPS panel technology, delivering up to 180Hz refresh rates – three times higher than the standard of 60Hz. This results in better motion clarity, as well as a smoother image while gaming.
There are three monitors to choose from here – the 23.8-inch 24G42E, the 24.5-inch 25G42E, and the 27-inch 27G42E. The post AOC unleashes its best budget gaming monitors yet – 180Hz for under £130 first appeared on KitGuru.AMD's CES 2025 keynote unveiled the Ryzen 9000HX series codenamed “Fire Range”, the successor to the 7000HX “Dragon Range”. Effectively, a BGA-packaged version of a “Granite Ridge” chip, Fire Range CPUs combine one or two “Zen 5” CCDs with a client I/O die. While it lacks an integrated NPU and sports a basic iGPU, its focus is clear: enthusiast gaming laptops and mobile workstations.
The 28 PCIe Gen 5 lanes provide ample bandwidth for the discrete GPUs it's designed to complement. The Ryzen 9 9955HX3D is the headlining model in the series, the sole model featuring 3D V-Cache. This chip has the potential to claim the crown of the fastest mobile CPU for gaming, potentially even outpacing Intel's Arrow Lake-HX, especially if the desktop 9800X3D's performance relative to the Core Ultra 9 285K is anything to go by.
Dream Machines (via VideoCardz) has already announced its intention to bring laptops powered by the 9955HX3D to market, with an estimated arrival window of late March or early April 2025. Reports suggest AMD has secured various contracts with several major laptop OEMs, pointing towards a potentially successful market run for these new Fire Range chips, unlike its predecessors.
However, this top-tier performance will come at a cost. Dream Machines listings of these upcoming laptops start at €2,530 (~£2100) for configurations pairing the 9955HX3D with an RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, while the flagship RTX 5090 Laptop GPU variant is predicted to command a price tag closer to €3,860 (~£3200). These laptops will have 16-inch 300 Hz displays, 16 GB of DDR5-5200/5600 memory, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD.
