Update: The Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable has won best of gaming in CNet's Best of CES Awards.

For the last few years, rollable displays have been the star of CES, but they're usually found in extremely expensive – and quickly discontinued – TVs. At CES 2026, though, Lenovo is showing off a gaming laptop that uses a rollable OLED display that can stretch to an ultrawide aspect ratio.

While it's still just a concept, the Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable is pitched to include a 'top-spec' Intel Core Ultra processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090. That super-powerful graphics chip is necessary, too, given the extra pixels it needs to push once the display is stretched out in all of its 24:9 glory.

Keep in mind, though, that because this is still a just a concept, you shouldn't expect it to hit store shelves any time soon. As such, the specs are likely to change if and when this rollable laptop ever makes it to market. Lenovo unsurprisingly hasn't revealed any kind of pricing for the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, either. But if it does come out, expect it to cost a few thousand bucks.

Stretchy Laptop

Lenovo showed me the concept back in December in New York, and it's clearly in early stages. For instance, the Lenovo rep had to mess with the command line to even get the display to roll itself out. In the short few weeks between when I initially saw it and CES itself, Lenovo has fixed this. The display now extends out with a simple key combination: just press down the Fn button and the right or left arrow keys to extend or shrink the display, respectively. Even for a concept, the motion was extraordinarily smooth, and will likely get even better if this laptop ever actually sees the light of day.

But because of the mechanism needed to have a rollable display like this, the laptop is quite heavy. Again, it's a concept, so Lenovo isn't sharing any hard specs, but this laptop has to weigh close to 8 or 10 pounds. Thats something else that'll likely be improved if this laptop comes out – a repeating theme.

The laptop by default has a resolution of 2048 x 1280 at a 16:10 aspect ratio. That's a weird resolution, for sure, but it's not exactly impressive by modern gaming laptop standards. However, that default screen configuration isn't really the point. The laptop's display can roll out to two different sizes, resulting in either a 21:9 display with a resolution of 2986 x 1280 or a 3413 x 1280 24:9 display.

No matter what, that means that the Legion Pro Rollable is a FHD laptop, but that just means that the RTX 5090 this thing is packing – for now – won't have any problem driving high framerates, even in super-demanding games. After all, Lenovo is calling these stretched out display modes "Tactical Mode" and "Arena Mode" for the 21:9 and 24:9 modes, respectively, so it seems it wants this to appeal to esports gamers.

If this actually comes out, I wouldn't recommend it to any esports gamers, though. Instead, the ultrawide display appeals much more to gamers that like more immersive and story-based games. There is just something about jumping into an open world and having it take up your entire field of view. That's why ultrawide displays are my favorite gaming monitors, and now we can potentially get that on a gaming laptop.

Unfortunately, the laptop didn't have any actual games installed on it either time I tried it, so I don't know how it handles actually playing games. I did try digging around the PC when no one was looking to find something installed, but instead all I got to do was extend and retract the display over and over again. That was fun, but I would have loved to see how the computer was able to handle the extra pixels introduced by extending the screen.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Lenovo decides this is worth releasing into the wild to actually benchmark it. Until then, I'll just dream of booting up the Witcher 3 with the display extended all the way out to its 24:9 mode.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X and X2 processors may finally have access to Fortnite and Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat, but despite how much Qualcomm is trying to push gaming on the Snapdragon platform this year, I just don’t care.

Fortnite runs on smartphones, after all. And while Easy Anti-Cheat opens up a whole new slate of games for Snapdragon X-series laptops, most of the titles we’ve seen running on Qualcomm systems aren’t exactly GPU intensive. Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the bigger games shown on the original Snapdragon X Elite platform, though performance on Qualcomm’s reference designs hardly held up when compared to actual consumer systems.

And at CES 2026, Qualcomm was showing off its new high-end Snapdragon X2 Extreme chip running Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 2026?

Look. I love Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It’s a great game. It’s a great benchmark. But the game hit gaming PCs way back in September 2018 – over 7 years ago. It was a graphically intense game back on the RTX 2080. While it is impressive to see how smooth the game runs on integrated GPUs at 1080p and High graphics settings these days, it’s not exactly a bragging point.

Especially when AMD was running Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at over 30 fps native on the Lenovo Legion Go 2’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme last year, and Intel is showing off thin and light Panther Lake laptops running Battlefield 6 with frame rates hitting over 200 fps (though that is with multi-frame generation).

While Qualcomm’s reference design Snapdragon X2 Extreme laptop did have Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong installed, neither game was running for the press demos. Instead, the company wanted to talk about using AI voice changing features while gaming, rather than talk performance.

Integrated GPU Performance Matters Most on Handhelds

When it comes to iGPU gaming, handheld gaming PCs are king. While I love being able to play some games on a general consumer or business laptop because I’m a monster, few people are going to use a Lenovo Yoga or Dell laptop for gaming.

And when it comes to handhelds, well. AMD got an early lead in the handheld market, and Intel is still trying to claw out space for itself. Qualcomm hasn’t even tried. At this point, it’s probably too late. Between the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, Intel Lunar Lake, and the recently teased Intel Panther Lake handheld chips, Qualcomm’s opportunity to get a Snapdragon handheld out on the market has passed.

iGPU Gaming Only Goes So Far

While every gaming handheld around right now is an iGPU machine, no one is going to buy a general consumer laptop for gaming. Since Qualcomm doesn’t have a handheld, this makes the Snapdragon X platform’s lack of discrete GPUs even more obvious.

After all, a Microsoft Surface Laptop isn’t a gaming device. If it can run games, cool. But it’s not a gaming platform. Sure, Qualcomm laptops can now utilize AMD FSR and Qualcomm’s custom Snapdragon Game Super Resolution upscaling features, but it’s just not enough reason to care. Between having no handhelds, using reference design laptops that won’t hit the market, and not talking actual performance expectations using modern game titles, Snapdragon gaming isn’t any more compelling than it was last generation.

The Fortnite South Park trailer is (officially) here, revealing an all-new short as Butters, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny all drop in for five-player battle royale matches – a.k.a. Quints.

Epic Games published the full trailer for its South Park crossover content following a leak that wormed its way online earlier today. While the low-quality, unofficial version of the footage did show the Fortnite content in its entirety, there were a few key details saved while players wait for the event to launch this Friday, January 9.

Epic’s official trailer comes in at about two-and-a-half minutes longer than the leaked trailer, with the vast majority of that runtime filled with fresh scenes set in that iconic animated South Park style. The short sees the show’s main quartet back at their computers to play some video games while leaving Butters to sit alone in a lobby, all because he “lowkey” sucks at Fortnite.

“Actually, you just suck at Fortnite,” Cartman quips. “It’s not even lowkey.”

Butters, donning his tinfoil Professor Chaos costume, then uses the power of the Stick of Truth to transform the South Park school bus into a proper Battle Bus that whisks the group away into the world of Fortnite (and Cartmanland). It’s here the group is forced to add Butters to their squad, making for a pretty natural segway for Epic to introduce its big new feature: Quints.

As the fourth graders have proper battle royale mech suit skins built around them, Epic has used the trailer’s description to confirm that Quints is a five-player playlist for players to enjoy until the event concludes February 5. It’s an update that finally brings bigger party sizes to Fortnite after years of calls for increases, though additional details currently remain under wraps.

As for other changes the Fortnite x South Park event brings to the table, the studio has confirmed the crossover’s Born in Chaos pass will be free. This departure from previous mini passes, which typically cost players and included new skins, will now not include the new South Park outfits, instead allowing players to purchase them in the Shop.

The Fortnite South Park event comes to Chapter 7 for one month starting this Friday. While we wait to see how Towelie fits in as a Sidekick and what Easter Eggs Cartmanland has in store, you can see where Epic’s long-running battle royale landed in the list of top-played PlayStation and Xbox games in 2025. Gaming keyboards all do the same job more or less; it mostly comes down to the different type of switches and keycaps you prefer. If you like a low-profile laptop keyboard, Razer Joro is a good pick. If you want clicky button presses, wireless functionality and all the bells and whistles you could possibly want on a keyboard, ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme Wireless is $100 off right now.

A solid mid-range pick would be the Razer BlackWidow V4 Mini HyperSpeed Wireless. It has a massive 200-hour battery with quiet orange switches and pudding keycaps. For a budget gaming keyboard, I'd highly recommend Glorious GMMK for a cheeky 10% off right now. It has brown mechanical switches, which serve as a great hybrid for work and gaming. Plus, it's modular, making it a great modding platform.

Gaming Mice Deals

Again, it really comes down to preference when it comes to gaming mice. I prefer having something I can grip with some curves built into the sides. When it comes to a cheap wired option that's built well and has some RGB to make me game faster, I'd go for Glorious Model D (Minus) at a reasonable $28.68.

If we're talking wireless, I'd shell out $99.99 for ASUS ROG Keris II. The battery life is a respectable 127 hours, has up to 42K DPI alongside tri-mode connectivity. It's a versatile and responsive bit of kit with the ergonomics I look for in gaming mice.

Home Workout Deals

Half the challenge of going to the gym is getting into the mindset to get in there and put some graft in; it's intimidating for a lot of people. Luckily, there are a couple of ways to get a fantastic workout at home. The first route is equipment with a service, specifically Peloton. The deal is you can either pick a treadmill or exercise bike, grab a subscription and get that personal trainer experience in the comfort of your own home with all the bells and whistles of the latest high-tech, gym-quality equipment.

Amazon is putting out some decent pricing, with my favorite pick here being the "Game Edition" of Cloud Strife-themed Limit Break Commander Deck. It's around the same price as TCGPlayer, making it market value, with the artwork being based on in-game moments instead of the traditional MTG artwork.

Meanwhile, TCGPlayer is the place to go for MTG preorders. Commander Deck and Bundle, the latter being over $15 cheaper than Amazon.

Kirby has been a steadfast Nintendo mascot for 34 years, ever since the character debuted in 1992’s Kirby’s Dream Land for Game Boy. In addition to being a Smash Bros. staple, Kirby and his ever-evolving powers of inhalation have starred in over two dozen games, culminating in the series’ best-selling game to date, Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

With Kirby Air Riders kicking off a new wave of Switch 2 exclusives, we’ve compiled a list of every Kirby game on the Switch as well as new Kirby games coming to the Switch 2.

How Many Kirby Games Are on Switch?

Seven Kirby games have been released on Nintendo Switch, while 11 more retro Kirby games are playable with Nintendo Switch Online. The franchise debuted on Switch in 2018 with Kirby Star Allies; its latest release, Kirby Air Riders, arrived in 2025.

Kirby Star Allies (2018)

Kirby’s Switch debut came in 2018 with Kirby Star Allies. The action-platformer is played with a party of four (multiplayer or local AI) and sees Kirby combine abilities with allies to solve puzzles and enhance combat.

Super Kirby Clash (2019)

Series developer HAL Laboratories and Nintendo brought the pink puff back the following year for the free-to-play Super Kirby Clash. Like Star Allies, Clash is played with a team of four that can be controlled by other human players or AI. Unlike Star Allies, this is not a platformer but rather a standalone boss rush mode; it features a hub world for changing equipment and selecting quests, though the heart of the game is the series of boss fights that serve as those quests.

Kirby Fighters 2 (2020)

A sequel to the 3DS game Kirby Fighters Deluxe (an expanded version of the subgame Kirby Fighters found in Kirby: Triple Deluxe), Kirby Fighters 2 is exactly what it sounds like: a fighting game starring Kirby. It supports up to four players and features Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, Gooey, and Magolor as playable characters.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (2022)

The series’ standout game on Switch, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a post-apocalyptic adventure in which Kirby gets sucked into a wormhole that appears above Dream Land. The Forgotten Land is the series’ first fully 3D platformer, complete with puzzles and Kirby’s signature ability-based combat. It’s the series’ best-selling game to date, selling more than 7.5 million copies by the end of March 2024. A Switch 2 version of the game released in late 2025 , introducing the Star Crossed World expansion.

Kirby's Dream Buffet (2022)

Kirby’s Dream Buffet is a dessert-themed multiplayer game released in 2022. It features three four-player game modes: race, minigame, and battle royale. The modes can be played separately or together as part of Dream Buffet’s Gourmet Grand Prix.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe (2023)

The series’ latest game, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a remake of the 2011 Wii game Kirby’s Return to Dream Land. The action-platformer came to Switch with improved visuals, a new easy mode (Helper Magolor), three new abilities (Sand, Mecha, and Festival), and an all-new two-hour adventure called Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.

Return to Dream Land Deluxe supports local co-op for up to four players, with each player taking control of either Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, or Bandana Waddle Dee.

Kirby Air Riders (2025) *Switch 2 Exclusive

Kirby Air Riders was officially announced during the April 2025 Nintendo Direct as a follow-up to the 2003 Kirby Air Ride racing game on GameCube. Masahiro Sakurai, creator of both the Kirby series and Super Smash Bros., returns as director of the new game, and has described it as having a similar feel to Mario Kart. IGN's own review argues that once you learn some funky controls, "you’re in for a chaotic action racing game that’s a great time with friends and offers a ton to do on your own."

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on May 29. That is, unless you buy the more expensive deluxe edition, which is available to play on May 26. It finds Batman and a team of other Gotham's heroes fending off Joker, Penguin, and more of Akrham Asylum's finest. It's available to preorder now in two editions. Let's dive into the details.

What Is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight?

As its title suggests, Legacy of the Dark Knight is a LEGO Batman game. While LEGO games used to be a dime a dozen, this Gotham-set one looks to continue the trend begun with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, in that it’s a high quality game that appears to be made with a lot of care.

While it should still appeal to kids just fine, it’s not a button-masher. It incorporates stealth and combo-based action into the gameplay. In fact, it uses some of the same combat elements found in the Batman: Arkham series of games, if you remember those. It also has puzzles to solve and clue-based detective work, which fits with Batman’s character.

The story starts at Batman’s beginning, with Bruce Wayne training with The League of Shadows before donning the cape and cowl. Back in Gotham, he teams up with the likes of Jim Gordon, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Batgirl (all of whom are playable characters) as he takes on all manner of color villains, from Joker and Poison Ivy to Bane, Mr. Freeze, and more.

Along the way, there’s a heavy focus on collecting things, including 100 suits, more than 20 vehicles, and over 250 props and trophies to display in the Batcave.

The collaborative relationship between LEGO and Nintendo, two world leaders in family-friendly entertainment that operate in the adjacent realms of toys and games, began with the 1999 release of LEGO Racers on N64. At least one LEGO game has been released on a Nintendo platform nearly every year since, and multiple Nintendo-themed LEGO sets have been released each year since they debuted in 2020.

The LEGO-Nintendo synergy has persisted through the Switch era, and with the Switch 2 now out in the wild, we’re looking back on the legacy of LEGO on the Switch.

How Many LEGO Games Are There on Nintendo Switch?

As of 2026, 19 LEGO games have been released on Switch, from LEGO Undercover City in 2017 to the most recent LEGO Party! game in 2025. Of the 19 games, nine are LEGO originals and 10 are licensed collaborations with other intellectual properties.

Every LEGO Game on Switch (Ordered by Release Date)

LEGO City Undercover (2017)

In April 2017, one month after the console’s launch, the series’ first game to hit the Switch was LEGO City Undercover, which is an original LEGO game originally released for Wii U in 2013. It’s based on the LEGO City series of themed building sets and tells the tale of an undercover police officer tracking an escaped prisoner.

LEGO Worlds (2017)

LEGO Worlds is another original game released on the Switch in 2017. Worlds is the most authentically LEGO game available on Switch; it steps out of the series’ usual action-adventure genre into the world of sandbox games (think Minecraft), allowing you to build structures and environments brick by brick.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game (2017)

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is, as its name makes clear, an adaptation of The LEGO Ninjago Movie. The game and movie, both based on LEGO’s own Ninjago line, were released in the U.S. on September 22, 2017. The action-adventure game features eight locations and several playable characters from the movie.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (2017)

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes draws characters and locations from Marvel movies and comics alike, with a massive roster of characters that (probably) includes every Marvel hero and villain you can think of. It’s a direct sequel to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes that ultimately pits you against the time-travelling villain Kang the Conqueror.

The first game is also available on the Switch, though you’ll find it further down this list – it wasn’t ported until 2021.

LEGO The Incredibles (2018)

Another LEGO-Disney collaboration, LEGO The Incredibles combines story beats from both movies, the 2004 original and 2018 sequel. The game was released alongside The Incredibles 2 in June 2018. It features over 100 playable characters, including all five members of the Parr family. This game is one of many Disney games currently available on the Switch in 2025.

LEGO DC Super-Villains (2018)

LEGO DC Super-Villains is a LEGO Batman spinoff focused on a collection of villains from the deep history of DC Comics, including The Joker and Lex Luthor. The villains must navigate the internal threat of personality conflict while pursuing the mysterious Justice Syndicate. It’s notably the first LEGO game to center its story around a player-created character.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection (2018)

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection is a compilation of two games: LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7. The collection includes the complete LEGO Harry Potter experience, pulling characters, stories, and activities from all seven books and eight movies. This collaboration goes hand-in-hand with the many LEGO Harry Potter sets that have released over the last few years.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (2019)

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is a movie tie-in that was largely knocked for its lack of originality and innovation. The game blends elements of traditional action-adventure LEGO games with the building elements introduced in LEGO Worlds.

LEGO Jurassic World (2019)

Originally released alongside the movie in 2015, LEGO Jurassic World came to Switch four years later in 2019. It features a 20-level campaign with five levels from each movie that had been released up until that point in time (Jurassic Park 1-3 and Jurassic World). In addition to characters from the Jurassic World movies, you can unlock playable versions of the franchise’s primary directors, Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow.

LEGO Builder’s Journey (2021)

LEGO Builder’s Journey came to Switch in 2021 after debuting on Apple Arcade in 2019. While most LEGO games incorporate puzzle-solving, Builder’s Journey is all puzzles, all the time. It’s a beautifully designed game that tells its father-son story one geometric puzzle at a time.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes (2021)

First released in 2013, LEGO Marvel Superheroes didn’t come to Switch until 2021. It tells an original story with several of Marvel’s most recognizable heroes – Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America, and others – teaming up to foil the apocalyptic plans of Doctor Doom and Loki.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (2022)

The definitive LEGO Star Wars experience, The Skywalker Saga features reimagined scenes from all nine Skywalker movies: the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and sequel trilogy. Within this sprawling collection are over 300 playable characters, 23 planets, and 100 vehicles. Compared to past LEGO games, The Skywalker Saga moves you closer to the action by shifting the camera from a zoomed-out third-person perspective to a tighter over-the-shoulder view. Considering the sheer amount of Star Wars LEGO sets out there, it's no surprise this made for one of the best Star Wars games of all time.

LEGO Brawls (2022)

LEGO Brawls is the worst-reviewed game on this list, based on Metascore (46). It’s an accessible, Smash Bros.-inspired fighting game originally released for Apple Arcade in 2019. Brawls features well over 100 minifigures/fighters from over 10 LEGO sets, including Ninjago and Jurassic World.

LEGO Bricktales (2022)

LEGO Bricktales is an original, puzzle-based adventure similar to LEGO Builder’s Journey, though on a larger scale. The game takes you to dioramas set in jungles, deserts, cities, medieval castles, and tropical islands. Bricktales was made by ClockStone Studio, the developer best known for its Bridge Constructor series.

LEGO 2K Drive (2023)

LEGO 2K Drive, from prolific sports game developer Visual Concepts, is a racing game set in the open world of Bricklandia. 2K Drive is a robust racing game that features street, off-road, and water races; story, single race, tournament, minigame, and free-roam modes; and a custom car-builder that our review called “excellent.”

LEGO Fortnite (2023)

LEGO Fortnite is a collection of LEGO-themed games housed within Fortnite. Epic Games and the LEGO Group have created several LEGO Fornite experiences since the collaboration was launched in late 2023. Among the current ways to play are a survival-crafting game called Odyssey, an online social RPG called Brick Life, and a level designer called LEGO Islands.

LEGO Horizon Adventures (2024)

The franchise’s latest game is LEGO Horizon Adventures, a collaboration between PlayStation’s Guerrilla Games and English support studio Studio Gobo. It’s a retelling of Horizon Zero Dawn, simplified and sanitized for a wider audience, that leans into the combat and platforming mechanics of LEGO action games before it.

LEGO Voyagers (2025)

The latest LEGO game is a two-player co-op adventure that is short and sweet. In our 8 out of 10 review, IGN praised its meorable puzzle games and fantasticly presented world. It doesn't have the same level of depth as co-op games like Split Fiction, or It Takes Two, but it's a fun game you can play together with someone.

LEGO Party (2025)

The second LEGO game we got in 2025, LEGO Party is, as you might guess, a party game along the lines of Mario Party. IGN's 8/10 review describes it as "Creative, colourful, and a consistent crack up... purpose-built to turn any boring old night into a block party filled with belly laughs." It feaures 60 minigames across LEGO sets from the Ninjago, Pirates, and Space themes. You can also customize your own minifigure and tackle Challenge Zones with up to three friends.

Upcoming LEGO Games on Switch 2

The Switch 2 has officially arrived, but plenty of games are still making their way to the original system. A new Batman game called LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is releasing on May 29, supposedly featuring an open-world Gotham City. We don't know too much more about upcoming games, but on the brick-building side of things, LEGO recently announced a new Smart Brick.
