Every Noteworthy Character in GTA 6

Rockstar may have delayed Grand Theft Auto 6 to May 26, 2026, but the studio has surprised everybody with a new trailer loaded with story and character details. While we knew from the first trailer that GTA 6 would feature two protagonists, it mostly set the stage for a return to Vice City. But with the newest trailer, Vice City gets a little more full thanks to a bevy of new faces.

While their full roles and personalities might still be a mystery, the new trailer and the updated official GTA 6 website shares just enough that we now have a rough outline of who some of these friendly faces are. So read on for every GTA 6 character we’ve seen so far.

Every Important GTA 6 Character We’ve Seen So Far

Jason Duval

The first protagonist in our Bonnie and Clyde duo is Jason Duval, a man who’s looking for the easy life but can’t seem to catch a break. After serving time in the Army, he’s in the Leonida Keys working odd jobs for the local drug runners. The only thing keeping him going is his love for Lucia.

Lucia Caminos

At the start of the trailer, we meet Lucia just as she’s released from Leonida Penitentiary, having served time after fighting for her family. We know her father taught Lucia how to fight from a young age and that their family moved to Leonida from Liberty City (GTA’s version of New York City). With Jason by her side, it seems Lucia has a plan to give both of them a new start towards a better life.

Like past GTA games, GTA 6 is led by a couple of streetwise toughs hoping to find the score of a lifetime. What’s unique is that unlike the trio from GTA 5, and the lone wolves of older GTA games, Jason and Lucia seem to genuinely love each other, and that might allow them to reach new heights – or fall even harder than past main characters.

Brian Heder

Brian is Jason’s landlord and one of the aforementioned local drug runners in Leonida. By day he runs and operates Brian’s Boat Works and Marina, but this serves as a legitimate front for his drug business for which he hires Jason to act as some additional muscle. He sounds suspiciously like the actor Stephen Root, but Rockstar isn’t sharing its voice cast for GTA 6 just yet (we asked).

Cal Hampton

Jason’s friend and drinking buddy at The Rusty Anchor, Cal is described as having “casual paranoia” and seems somewhat prone to conspiracy theories… but also having a good time, so maybe it all balances out for him? If Rockstar’s penchant for American satire continues, we can expect Cal to exhibit some of the worst, if funniest, parts of Leonidian society.

Boobie Ike

A local Vice City legend, Boobie Ike is now a legitimate entrepreneur and business mogul, a far cry from his life on the streets. Boobie runs everything from real estate, a strip club, and even a recording studio which he is using as a launch pad for a new music empire with his associate, Dre’Quan. Keep an eye out for Only Raw Records’ first hit.

Dre’Quan Priest

Like Boobie, Dre’Quan is a businessman whose primary job is gangster and drug dealer. He’s hoping to use his partnership with Boobie Ike and the talents of his first music signing, Real Dimez, to promote himself to the Vice City elites. It remains to be seen how much of Dre’Quan’s ambitions will end up helping or hurting him in his climb up the power ladder.

Real Dimez

Musical duo Real Dimez comprises Bae-Luxe and Roxy, high school friends who turned their street toughness into a hip-hop and social media career. They’ve signed on with Dre’Quan Priest and Boobie Ike to capitalize on the success of their first hit, DWNPLY, to become Only Raw Records’ breakout stars.

Raul Bautista

It wouldn’t be Grand Theft Auto without a few criminal masterminds, and Vice City’s got theirs with Raul Bautista. A veteran bank robber, his tendency to up the stakes during a heist means that his crew often has to deal with more than they planned for. Maybe one of his best-laid plans will be something Jason and Lucia sign on for to get their big break?

And More (Various Gangsters, Cop in Body Armor, Influencers)

There are plenty of faces that get a brief appearance in the trailer who aren't named. From various gangsters who Lucia and Jason seem to have run-ins with, to, of course, cops looking to bring down Vice City's criminals. And in between are all manner of partying influences, gun store owners, and other Leonida denizens.

These are the main characters we know about so far in GTA 6. Has anyone caught your eye yet? How do you think the two protagonists will stack up to past GTA anti-heroes? Let us know in the comments, and for more on GTA 6, check out our breakdown of the newest trailer.

LEGO Flower Sets Are on Sale for Mother’s Day

Mother's Day is only days away, but fortunately, there's still time to get a gift for mom and have it delivered by Saturday, May 11. LEGO flowers and bouquets are wonderful alternatives to real flowers; they come in several different floral arrangements, they require no maintenance, and right now they are not any more expensive than buying a bouquet of real flowers. Currently, Amazon is offering up to 55% off select LEGO flowers and 20% off LEGO flower bouquets. Build them yourself and you'll be gifting her a labor of love, literally.

LEGO Flower Deals for $10 or Less

These flower sets are my personal favorite. They're inexpensive, yes, but they also give you the option to customize your bouquet. I purchased several of these sets last Mother's Day and the kids built and arranged them in a mason jar. The kids enjoyed working on the project and their mom loved it.

20% Off LEGO Flower Bouquets (Pre-Arranged)

Building and arranging individual LEGO flower sets can be time consuming. If you want more guidance, then consider the themed LEGO flower bouquet sets. They're currently 20% off at Amazon and most of them are still expected to arrive by May 11. These bouquets are beautiful, easy to assemble, and still give you some degree of customization. Once you've built the flowers, you can arrange them pretty much any way you want to and place them in a nice vase for that finished look. Best of all, these flowers don't require any water, plant fertilizer, or sunlight to look their very best.

Looking for more Mother's Day gift ideas?

If LEGOs aren't quite up mom's alley, then check out some of our other Mother's Day gift ideas for inspiration, including real flowers, candy, fuzzy slippers, arts and crafts, and more. If you want to really impress mom, give her a new iPad or a pair of AirPods, both of which are also on sale and should be delivered in time if you order soon.

Save 60% Off the Lokithor J400 Cordless Car Jump Starter for Emergencies

A jump starter is an essential part of car's emergency kit, and a cordless one is definitely a lot less of a hassle. You don't need to pay a premium for a jump starter that reliably gets the job done, either. Amazon is currently offering the Lokithor J400 12V 2,000A cordless car jump starter for $33.97 shipped after you clip both $20 and 40% off coupons on the product page. The retail price is listed at $89.95, but we usually see it for closer to $50-$60. Not only does it function as a jump starter, it can also be used to recharge your smartphone in a pinch.

Lokithor J400 12V 2,000A Car Jump Starter for $33.97

The Lokithor J400 is a compact 12V cordless car jump starter that can supply 2,000A of peak power and is capable of jumpstaring up to 8L gas or 6L diesel engines. The sizeable 8,000mAh battery will give you several jump starts before needing a recharge. Since the battery uses lithium (NMC) cells, it depletes a lot slower than your traditional battery and will retain most of its charge even after 24 months of non-use. The J400 also doubles as a portable power bank, so you can also use it to charge your iPhone or smartphone in a pinch.

The J400 charges quickly over USB Type-C and if you don't have a cable on hand, both USB Type-C to Tpe-C and USB Type-A to Type-C cables are supplied in the package. There's even a flashlight with three separate modes (flashlight, SOS, and strobe) for emergencies. The jump starter is one of the smallest models in its class (3.4" x 6.9" x 1.7"), weighs about 1.5 pounds, and stows away easily in your trunk or dash.

The Writer of Thunderbolts Was Spoiled on The Last of Us Season 2… Because of The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Spoilers follow for Thunderbolts and The Last of Us Season 2.

Spoilers and spoiler-phobic culture have evolved over the years, including not just how fans perceive what a spoiler is but also what the Hollywood marketing machine even considers to be a spoiler. Go back and watch Michael Keaton give away the big “the Joker killed Batman’s parents” twist on Letterman the day before the movie came out in 1989, for example. Imagine that happening today?

Well, it turns out even Hollywood filmmakers worry about being spoiled on stuff these days. Take Eric Pearson, co-writer of Thunderbolts/The New Avengers, who was annoyed to be spoiled on the death of Pedro Pascal’s character Joel in the current season of The Last of Us. The thing is, he was spoiled through less conventional means than most of us would be…

“I found out about the fate of [Joel in] Episode 2 by learning about Pedro's schedule for Fantastic Four last year,” the writer recently told me. “So I was like, well, I know what's going to happen now in that show that I like that's not coming out for another year. So annoying.”

The topic of spoilers came up with Pearson when we were discussing the Thunderbolts character Bob/Sentry (Lewis Pullman), who is teased in the trailers as a random character who just winds up in the company of Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and the rest. As he explained, the memory loss element of the Sentry in the Marvel Comics was an aspect that Pearson wanted to play into in the movie version. But the reality is anything from the source material of a comic-book movie in the post-MCU world is pretty hard to keep quiet.

'I found out about the fate of [Joel in] Episode 2 by learning about Pedro's schedule for Fantastic Four last year.' -Eric Pearson

“You put that into just the fun of, hey, there's some guy named Bob in this impenetrable vault where we're all supposed to kill each other and he's in medical scrubs. What the hell is he doing here?” said Pearson. “Of course, the internet has to figure everything out and spoil it all. But in those beautiful, innocent days when we thought maybe somebody wouldn't just spoil everything, it was like, oh, who's Bob? Let's have a lot of fun with nobody understanding and nobody knowing why this random guy is there.”

But then Bob wound up in the trailers, of course, and the fans quickly put together that he was Bob Reynolds, aka the Sentry. And that was that.

“I would prefer it not to have [been spoiled in the trailers], but you can't help it really,” he continued. “You can't help the marketing choices.”

Perhaps we’re all part of the spoiler problem. Pearson remembers watching the trailer for Zack Snyder’s 300 “a billion times” before it came out in 2006, especially the rousing moment when Leonidas (Gerard Butler) kicks an unfortunate messenger into a well.

“And then you get to the part in the movie where he is right next to the hole and he's going to kick him in … and you're sitting there in the theater going, ‘Kick him in the hole already!’” laughs Pearson. “The trailer trained my brain not to enjoy that scene because I know he is going to get kicked in the hole. … I'm equally as guilty. I watch all the trailers and whenever I get to see a movie that I haven't seen the trailer for, I enjoy it so much more. But we're fiends for this stuff, so what are you supposed to do, really? I can't blame anyone.”

Still, there is the great hope of the people who… just go see a movie like Thunderbolts without googling “Bob Marvel explained” or what have you. Maybe they never even saw the trailer before they went to the movie! Regular folks who go in just looking to enjoy a movie like Thunderbolts. Surely, such folks were at least surprised by the Bob twist.

“I do hope more people go in with less knowledge,” says the writer.

And you know what? Those same people probably weren’t spoiled on Joel or the 1989 Joker reveal either.

Back in Stock: Save $600 Off the Popular Lenovo Legion RTX 4070 Super Prebuilt Gaming PC

A popular gaming desktop PC configuration has come back in stock at Lenovo. Right now you can pick up the popular Legion Tower 5 RTX 4070 Super gaming PC for $1,472.99 with free shipping after a 5% off coupon code "EXTRAFIVE" is applied in cart. The RTX 4070 Super is still an excellent graphics card for up to 1440p gaming and is comparable performance-wise to the new RTX 5070.

Lenovo Legion Tower 5 RTX 4070 Super Gaming PC

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 8 gaming PC is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, GeForce RTX 4070 Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU features a max boost clock of 5.3GHz with 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 32MB L3 cache. It's cooled by a beefy 120mm tower heatsink fan. In terms of gaming performance, the Ryzen 7 7700 is comparable to a 13th gen Intel Core i7 CPU, especially at higher resolutions where the GPU is the bottleneck. It's also a solid workstation chip for all but the most core-hungry applications.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Super video card is still a very viable card perfectly suited to running even modern day games at up to 1440p. Compared to the newer Blackwell cards released, its performance very closely mirrors that of the newer RTX 5070 graphics card. In fact, in Jackie Thomas' recent RTX 5070 review, she states that "while the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 has a decent uplift over the RTX 4070, it falls on its face as soon as the RTX 4070 Super enters the conversation" and "across all tests at all resolutions, the RTX 5070 was on average just 4% faster than the RTX 4070 Super".

Why Choose Lenovo?

People like the fact that Lenovo does not use very many proprietary components in their rigs, so Legion gaming PCs are generally DIY upgrade-friendly with easily obtainable off-the-shelf components. Lenovo gaming rigs generally also utilize solid cooling, especially for the CPU, even if you opt for the less expensive air cooled option.

All Time Wrestling: All or Nothing Board Game Review

Pile drivers, clotheslines, and – time travel? In the board game All Time Wrestling: All or Nothing, an immensely wealthy wrestling fan from the future uses the power of time travel to bring together some of the most iconic wrestlers from the past, present, and future to compete against one another. The game, designed by Mohamed Al Qadi and Jad Yammine and published by Cation Arts, offers players a fun time, whether or not you're familiar with pro wrestling and its pantheon of characters.

Anyone who grew up in the ‘90s like I did knows the WWF (as it was called back then, before the World Wildlife Fund won the trademark dispute) was all the rage among kids. So, while I opted to get my spandex fix with Power Rangers, I still had enough folks in my circle to know who the Macho Man and the British Bulldog were. While ATW’s subject matter may not be a big selling point for me, its balancing act of managing your resources and knowing when to push your luck kept me coming back round after round.

In ATW, much like in actual wrestling, players attempt to exhaust and weaken each other, with the end goal being to pin their opponent and take home the win. Each selectable wrestler – including legends like Macho Man Randy Savage and the British Bulldog, alongside ATW original characters – features unique abilities and varying levels of health and stamina, which adds some lovely variety to the game and helps keep matches exciting from one to the next.

Combat plays out with the player holding “initiative” playing cards from their hand and rolling dice to deal damage. Successful hits push the Momentum Track in that player’s favor, replicating the crowd hyping up the wrestler. The higher the momentum, the easier it becomes to land hits and gain other bonuses, which incentivizes continued aggression. Initiative only switches when an attack misses, the defender blocks, the defender uses their once-per-game “Reversal” ability (which instantly stops the combat), or the attacker voluntarily passes to regain some stamina and cards.

Between the different attack bonuses and the ability to combo cards together, there is a pleasant amount of depth and strategy in ATW without being overly complex. What I found most interesting, though, is how initiative is handled – it's done in a way I haven’t encountered in other games before. I really enjoyed this “press your luck” approach, and it made managing my hand of cards, stamina, and momentum more exciting. It often left me with a tough choice: do I push hard and risk leaving myself in rough shape for a chance to cinch a pin, or do I pass and forfeit the attack to try and weather the next assault, hoping I’ll be in a better position to strike back?

On the topic of cards, this is perhaps where my biggest issue with ATW lies. Instead of relying on text, the game heavily uses symbols and icons to denote things like damage, stamina requirements, special attributes, and other modifiers. As a general rule of thumb, if a game can employ icons, it should – so long as they are both readable and not overwhelming. Luckily, I never found there to be too many icons to decode in ATW, but the readability leaves a lot to be desired.

The action cards, which you use the most, feature colorful artwork of various wrestlers performing everything from jabs and punches to German suplexes and signature moves. However, this can make picking up on all the symbols more of a hassle than it should be – especially if you're on the receiving end and viewing them upside down or from a distance. More than a few times I encountered situations where finishers or dice modifiers were missed, or cards were mistaken for others, due to duplicate artwork being used for attacks with different stats. Perhaps it’s because of my long history with games like Magic: The Gathering, but I wish the information was presented atop a slightly opaque background, rather than directly over the art. It’s not a finisher on the game, but it’s certainly a bit of a jab to the chin.

The core game box offers players plenty of value and flexibility, providing not only standard 1v1 matches but also a tag-team-based 2v2 mode, a cage match variant with new rules, and a solo campaign mode that lets you improve your wrestler as you progress. The automated systems in solo mode are fine, but admittedly, as someone who has never quite gotten into solo board games, I spent far more time playing against others than diving into ATW’s campaign.

I personally prefer the more intense, head-to-head two-player experience.

As for tag mode, the inclusion of specialty partner abilities and the ability to tag in my friend to continue combos added an extra layer of choice and strategy. Still, it didn’t quite hit as hard as the core 1v1 mode. Even with the new tag mechanic, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this mode simply adds more players at the expense of having more downtime, since only one attacker and one defender are active at any given time, with partners outside the ring. It’s still fun and led to some awesome team-up moments with friends, but I personally prefer the more intense, head-to-head two-player experience.

For those wanting to dive even deeper into the All Time Wrestling universe, the creators continue to release new expansions – fully compatible with existing content – that add legends like Sgt. Slaughter and the Junkyard Dog, alongside new game modes like four-player free-for-alls and three-player-specific Triple Threat matches.

All Time Wrestling is one of those games worth checking out even if the wrestling theme doesn’t grab you. With games clocking in at under 30 minutes for two players and around 45 minutes for tag teams, it's a great filler during game nights or something compact enough to take to a bar. I’d love to see this system adapted for other themes – like a shonen anime (think Dragon Ball Z) or something Power Rangers-inspired. There’s a surprising amount of depth here, while still being approachable for players of varying board game experience – even those coming to it purely for a love of wrestling.

With All Time Wrestling, Cation Arts delivers a dramatic and faithful representation of the wild history of wrestling in a package that will delight fans of head-to-head games, regardless of whether you know what a DDT stands for or not.

Gaming Laptops Are Apparently More Popular Than Ever

Every month, Valve releases the results of its hardware survey, and the results are usually predictable, especially when it comes to what graphics cards most people are using. Most months, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 – or an equivalent XX60 class card from another generation – is on top. And while the RTX 4060 is technically the top GPU on Steam right now, this time it's the mobile version.

Since December 2024, the RTX 4060 for gaming laptops has grown from 4.19% of Steam's userbase to 4.99% of it. That seems like a minor change, but in the same time frame the RTX 3060, which has been the the most popular graphics card for a while shrunk from 5.01% to 4.72%, allowing the mobile GPU to take the lead. This is the first time in my memory that a mobile graphics card was at the top of the list.

Why Gaming Laptops? Why Now?

It's no secret that graphics cards are getting more expensive. Even the RTX 4060 is leagues more expensive than its equivalent was in the pre-RTX days. And while gaming laptops certainly aren't cheap, when you take the marked-up prices retailers attach to GPUs into consideration, it actually starts to make sense to just grab a gaming laptop and call it a day, especially if you need more than just a graphics card.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 for laptops isn't the most powerful GPU in the world, either, but it is still enough to play most games at 1080p without much of a struggle, moreso if you disable niceties like ray tracing and enable DLSS. It's not surprising that's enough for a lot of people, especially as we start to contend with the prospect of everything getting more expensive.

That's probably also a factor in why the only current-generation GPU that makes it into Valve's report is the RTX 5070 Ti, and that's coming in with just 0.27% of the playerbase. That puts it behind the GTX 1030, a cheap graphics card that launched 8 years ago, and it was bad back then.

I've been hearing gaming laptop manufacturers tell me for years that gaming laptops are the future or whatever, but now that a laptop GPU is sitting securely at the top of the Steam Hardware Survey, I'm actually starting to believe it. After all, when everything costs an arm and a leg, it starts getting really hard to justify dropping $1,000 on a graphics card, even if it comes with Multi-Frame Generation, or whatever Nvidia's next big thing will be with the RTX 6080.

The Future of PC Gaming

The magic of PC gaming is that it's flexible. While playing games on PS5 requires you to have one specific piece of hardware, you can basically configure a PC however your heart (or budget) requires. There are games out there like Assassin's Creed Shadows that can bring the RTX 5090 to its knees, but that's not why PC gaming is awesome. Instead, the indie games that spring up out of nowhere are where the real magic happens, and you don't need super-expensive hardware to tap into that.

I don't think high-end gaming PCs are going anywhere, but this hardware survey makes it pretty clear that the niche is shrinking a little bit. Instead, mid-range gaming laptops and handheld gaming PCs are starting to look like the way many people will engage with PC games going forward.

Over the next year or so, as RTX 5000 laptops become more common and the AMD Z2 Extreme powers up next-gen gaming handhelds, it's going to be interesting to see if desktop graphics continue to shrink, or if this was just a brief hiccup. Only time will tell.

89 Details From the GTA 6 Trailer 2

Rockstar taketh away, but Rockstar also provides. Well, it provides a tiny little bit. Grand Theft Auto 6 may have been delayed to May 2026, but today we finally got a second trailer. It’s a big one, too, with almost three minutes of footage that delves deeper into the world and story that we’ll finally be able to experience next year.

We’ve combed through the whole trailer with the finest of fine toothcombs to collect all the important details, from the biggest story reveals to the tiniest tidbits. So let’s get on with it: here are 89 details from the new GTA 6 trailer.

Every Detail We Found in the New GTA 6 Trailer

1. As revealed in the trailer’s description, GTA 6 will follow the story of Jason and Lucia, a couple who find themselves in the middle of a criminal conspiracy after an easy score goes wrong.

2. Our first protagonist is Jason Duval, a dude just looking for an easy life in a world that keeps making things harder. He had a troubled youth, something he attempted to escape by joining the army, but his dark past keeps catching up with him.

3. These days, it seems like he’s working in sales and services for the Leonida Marine Centre, as seen on this tee-shirt he’s wearing in a couple of scenes. But we also know, thanks to information from the newly-updated GTA website, that he’s working for local drug runners, too.

4. Jason falls in love with Lucia Caminos, our second protagonist. She’s recently served a stint in the Leonida Penitentiary, but now that she’s out she plans to build a better life for herself. A life with Jason. And probably a lot of guns, drugs, and explosions, if prior GTA games are anything to go by.

5. Early in the trailer we’re introduced to Jason’s landlord, an old geezer called Brian. Brian, or Mr. Heder to you, is a longtime drug runner, smuggling product through the Leonida Keys. He does this via his very legitimate boat business, Brian’s Boat Works and Marina, which we see later on in the trailer.

6. The shots-enthusiast spotted at The Rusty Anchor bar is Cal Hampton, friend to Jason and associate to Brian. He’s got something of a paranoia problem, so maybe take everything he says with a grain of salt.

7. The gold chain around this woman’s neck is your first clue to who she is. Bae-Luxe is one half of Real Dimez, a couple of high school friends turned rappers and influencers. Along with Roxy and a new record deal with Only Raw Records, she’s hoping to hit the big time in Vice City.

8. Real Dimez’ manager is Dre’Quan, a hustler more interested in the music business than the city’s criminal underworld. Now he has a potentially big hit on his hands, his days booking acts at the Jack of Hearts strip club.

9. Talking of the strip club, it’s owned by Boobie Ike, a local Vice City legend. Boobie can only be glimpsed on the GTA 6 website, which reveals that he and Dre’Quan are working together, using drug and club money to fund a budding music empire.

10. Finally, the eighth major character we’ve been introduced to in this latest information drop is Raul Bautista. Like Boobie Ike, we don’t actually see Raul in the trailer itself, but the GTA 6 website reveals that he is a charming and cunning bank robber who works with Lucia on a score. He’s a reckless operator, so expect things to go very, very wrong.

11. As the game’s synopsis reveals, Jason and Lucia’s story begins with a score going wrong. We may well be seeing that job in action during this scene in which Jason and Lucia rob the Sinfrontera National Bank.

12. We see Jason goes to pick Lucia up from the Leonida Penitentiary. She’s wearing her electronic ankle tag as she leaves the prison, which we first saw on the game’s key art, and she can be seen wearing it in several other shots.

13. It seems that as a condition of her release, Lucia may have to do several hours of community service. We see her wearing a Leonida Department of Corrections orange hi-vis vest in a couple of scenes, including one where she’s picking up trash.

14. With Lucia now free, the couple are looking forward to a new life. There’s a lot of talk about “new beginnings” and new starts. What could possibly go wrong?

15. While girlfriends have been part of GTA for a long time now, this seems like the first time we’ll be experiencing a relationship with significant depth. Lucia and Jason seem very, very into each other. Yeah, there’s a hell of a lot of “getting to know each other” going on in this trailer.

16. The duo will certainly be getting to know the ins and outs of Vice City’s crime scene, too. That time on the inside certainly doesn’t seem to have put Lucia off a few less-than-legal activities. Here we can see her blowing up a cop car, and that certainly seems like a fast-pass ticket back to jail to me.

17. Talking of cops, it seems like one of GTA 6’s plot threads will follow a group of corrupt police officers. Here we see a group of cops who talk about “protecting each other” - but what could be their dirty secret they want to keep protected?

18. We see that group investigating a filthy building - they could well be the same cops we saw in the bodycam footage from the first trailer, which featured a similarly distressed looking building.

19. If Raul’s involvement didn’t give it away, it seems like robberies and heists will once again be a key part of the story. Later in the trailer we see a truck dragging a massive box, suggesting that there will be some dangerous escapes.

20. While pretty much everything we see in this trailer is taken from cutscenes, there are a few suggestions of things that could be gameplay features. Early on we see Jason stealing from a store, taking money from the register, and so it could mean that holding up stores is back.

21. There seems to be a lot of animals in this trailer - we see a cat in a store, a doberman dog out in the street, and a snake in Jason and Lucia’s home. Could there be a pet system? It would certainly be something to spend all the money we steal on.

22. We also see Lucia taking part in some kind of cage match. Could there be an underground fighting ring activity available somewhere in Vice City?

23. Jason can be seen benchpressing weights down at the beach – is San Andreas’ famous workout system making a return?

24. There’s also a new screenshot that shows Lucia in the gym. With GTA 6 very clearly going all-in on immersion when it comes to graphics, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a lot of old GTA lifestyle minigames return in new guises.

25. Regardless of if you can workout or not, Lucia will want to flex her muscles when this incredibly muscular woman attacks her during what looks like a Mission: Impossible grade setpiece mission.

26. As you’d expect of GTA, it also appears that several sports minigames will be available across Vice City. Revealed in a new selection of screenshots are mini golf,

27. Pool,

28. Fishing,

29. Basket ball,

30. Kayaking,

31. Scuba diving,

32. And dirt bike racing. It seems like there won’t be a shortage of things to do outside of the main missions.

33. It might not be just outside activities, either. In this shot we can clearly see a video games console, complete with PS4-style controller and a PS5-like main unit. Could we hang out at home and play a few games? It would be pretty cool to play GTA: Vice City in Vice City…

34. Of course, we won’t want to stay inside for too long. There’s a huge open world to explore, and we now know more about the key locations we’ll be visiting on the GTA 6 map. Thanks to a bunch of new screenshots and the Rockstar website, we can go into detail about some of these places. First up, of course, we have Vice City itself. The GTA 6 website says, “We're a long way from the '80s, but Vice City is still the sun and fun capital of America. The glamour, hustle, and greed of America captured in a single city. Each neighborhood has something to offer, from the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach, to the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC Port, the cruise ship capital of the world.”

35. We also know a little more about some specific establishments in the city. We get a new look at the Nine1Nine Vice City club, as seen in the last trailer. In trailer 1, there was a plane that had a large banner in tow that read ‘Nine1Nine Vice City - Why Sixty Nine when you can Nine One Nine?’. This is likely a riff on Miami’s real E11ELEVEN nightclub.

36. We also get a look at Vice City’s sports scene, with this man here wearing a Manatees Jersey, undoubtedly a riff on the turquoise of the real-life Miami Dolphins.

37. And we can also just see the bottom of the logo on his cap, which seems to belong to a basketball team. Luckily, a screenshot of Vice City’s Sahara Arena lets us know that they are called the Narcos.

38. The screenshots also give us a look at the modernised Ocean View Hotel, its neighbouring Ocean Beach, and the sign outside of Vice City Airport.

39. Another large area is Leonidas Keys, based on the Florida Keys. The Rockstar website says that, “The dress code is casual, the bars are loaded. Life in this tropical archipelago isn’t flashy but it’s easy. Get your buzz on and pull up a deck chair but look out — you are right on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful and dangerous waters in all of America.

40. This is where we think we’ll find Brian’s Boat Works and Marina, presumably the front for Brian’s drug-running operations.

41. One location we see shown heavily in the trailer is The Rusty Anchor. Alongside this lovely screenshot of its rustic exterior, we see inside the bar as both Lucia and Jason enjoy a few drinks with Cal.

42. Speaking of drinks… quite a few returning beer brands are making their way to GTA 6. These include Pisswasser

43. Stronzo,

44. Pindayho,

45. Patriot,

46. And a big green sign in the top left here for Logger Beer.

47. AND, although it isn’t seen at The Rusty Anchor, we do see a couple of Lavazas Beer here.

48. As Jason and Lucia leave the bar, we catch a glimpse of a concert poster for The Hummers and The Strummers. They’re playing The Rusty Anchor on August 24th. Maybe we’ll get to catch them.

49. And finally in The Rusty Anchor, we see a piece of wood commemorating Hurricane Roxy. Does this hint at extreme weather being a part of GTA 6’s world? It would certainly be the natural evolution of Red Dead Redemption 2’s incredible storm systems.

50. A couple more screenshots of the Leonidas Keys here show us what other wildlife to expect in the area. These include lizards, mobility scooter grannies, and, temptingly, what looks like the ability to scuba dive with turtles.

51. Next up, we have Grassrivers, GTA 6’s wetlands area. Described by Rockstar as “the untamable jewel of Leonida’s crown. You never know what lies beneath the surface of this primordial expanse. The gators may be the most famous attraction, but there are far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries among the mangroves.

52. We get a glimpse of this location at the end of this trailer as Jason pilots a helicopter over the swampland. He appears to be chasing the same hovercraft seen in trailer 1.

53. The new screenshots don’t tell us much more about Grassrivers except really reinforce that promise of alligators in this world. We get not only one, two, but three images of gators, including one here of these delightful-looking residents claiming victory over one.

54. Port Gellhorn is Leonidas’ forgotten coast. Full of “Cheap motels, shut-down attractions, and empty strip malls won’t bring the tourists back, but there’s a new economy in this once-popular vacation spot. It’s fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks. Jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet.”

55. Gellhorn features quite heavily in the trailer. We see Jason and Lucia in an intense car chase here.

56. As well as Lucia sporting a Gellhorn International shirt. Does this suggest that the GTA 6 map will have more than one airport?

57. We also get a good look at the Starlet Motel, which is situated in Port Gellhorn in both the trailer and this sparkly new screenshot. We think this might play quite a big role in GTA 6’s story, and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s where Lucia and Jason make one of their seemingly many mattress rendezvous.

58. The new batch of screenshots also shows us another Leonidas after-dark spot in the form of Delights Cabaret Club. It looks like we won’t be short of night time entertainment when it comes to GTA 6.

59. Seemingly in the middle of GTA 6’s map is Ambrosia. The Rockstar website says, “In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old-school values still reign supreme — whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.”

60. We saw plenty of people living in Ambrosia chugging beers and enjoying the mud in trailer 1, but almost nothing this time around. What we do have are a handful of new screenshots that give a good look at the Final Chapter biker gang.

61. We also get a couple of landscape scenes that reinforce that image of industry as fire and smog fill the air.

62. And last up for now on our tour of Leonidas is Mount Kalaga. Found in the northern part of the state, “Mount Kalaga offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails. In the lush surrounding backwoods, hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals live far from the prying eyes of the government.”

63. Again, we don’t see a ton, if any, of Mount Kalaga in the trailer, but new screenshots do show us some of that wildlife, as big cats appear to be making a return to the series after terrorising so many of us on Mount Chiliad in GTA 5

64. We also see signs throughout the trailer for other locations that haven’t been detailed by Rockstar yet. These include Southside and Peacock Bay and Mariana County and Vice-Dale County.

65. The television in Jason and Lucia’s apartment also gives us a look at somewhere we imagine we’ll be visiting one or two branches of quite a bit in GTA 6: Ammu-Nation. This TV commercial shows us the new version of Phil Cassidy, a character previously seen in the era of GTA 3 and Vice City. Back then he was the owner of Phil Cassidy's Fully Cocked Gun Shop, but this new version of Phil, finally given a HD makeover, appears to be the owner of GTA’s premier weapons store, Ammu-Nation.

66. Speaking of guns… we also get a sneak peek at the arsenal we might be wielding in the game. These include the return of Shrewsbury Shotguns.

67. And we see Lucia using a grenade launcher to create an explosive pile-up here.

68. And she also has an SMG here. As seen in Phil’s Ammu-Nation commercial, there’ll be many, many guns to fire in GTA 6. But that shouldn’t really come as a surprise, should it?

69. It wouldn’t be GTA without vehicles - it is Grand Theft *Auto*, after all. You can spot several major car brands across the trailer, starting with this blue El Camino-like Vapid. The Vapid brand has been seen all across GTA’s HD universe, but this appears to be a new model.

70. Brian also appears to drive a Vapid, this time a large GMC-like truck. This could be GTA 6’s version of the Caracara.

71. Also parked at Jason’s house is a sky blue car that looks like it dropped straight out of the 1950s. With its rear fins and rounded corners, it has more than a passing resemblance to GTA Vice City’s Oceanic.

72. On a drive through the neighborhood, Jason passes a woman who has a white car with pink paw prints over the hood. The logo in the grille is that of the Maibatsu company, GTA’s equivalent to Mitsubishi. This car actually looks a lot like the Maibatsu Sunrise R, a popular car based on the Mitsubishi Evo that was modded into GTA 5.

73. Out on the docks, we see a Dinka brand boat. This was a brand we previously saw in GTA 5, and it seems like there’s a new version of the Predator boat: the LurePredator.

74. In the background of this shot, we can see a metro train travelling along its rail track. Perhaps this could function as a fast travel system between the game’s major locations?

75. In the sequence where the crew is stealing the massive box, we can see their score is being dragged by a Bravado Bison four-door pickup truck.

76. Parked in front of the Dominion Hotel is what looks like an orange Benefactor Schafter and a bright green Pegassi Tempesta.

77. A Buzzard helicopter can be seen chasing an airboat through the Grassrivers.

78. Here, Jason and Lucia can be seen getting wet and wild on a SeaShark jetski.

79. And here we can see Jason riding what seems to be a new Western Motorcycle Company bike, with a classic Dodo seaplane flying overhead.

80. A more specific detail here, but when zoomed in you can get a good look at a Liberty City licence plate on this truck. These are inspired by the 2020 era Excelsior New York plates, which makes sense, seeing as Liberty City is based on the Big Apple.

81. Finally we have an overhead shot of the car we saw Jason and Lucia using in the previous trailer, which seems likely to be GTA 6’s version of the Sabre Turbo.

82. We can also spot a FlyUS plane high up in the sky, a commercial airline seen throughout the GTA series. Though, we highly doubt we can purchase one like many of the above vehicles, we will no doubt all try to steal one at some point. That is an unwritten rule of GTA.

83. There are a handful of other tiny details we’d also like to give a shout-out to as well. These include the return of the Zesta soft drink in the convenience store here.

84. And the Redwood Cigarettes stick on the door, if you fancy an even more unhealthy option.

85. If a different flavour of smoke is more your vibe, then maybe you’ll have some use for this 420 card seen in a different store.

86. And next to it is the phone number: 305-555-0145. The number doesn’t work (we tried), but it is a fun little reference to a joke dialling code seen in movies.

87. This striking mural of the Haitian flag also features what appears to be a message memorialising the people pictured. Translated from Haitian Creole, it reads “In Memory and Love”.

88. And, the song we’re hearing throughout this second trailer for GTA 6 is Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, which, incidentally, can also be heard in Mel Brooks’ sci-fi comedy, Spaceballs.

89. Finally, all of this GTA 6 footage was captured on PS5, with the game coming to both PlayStation and Xbox Series X on May 26th, 2026.

And that was everything we managed to find after taking a good, hard look at the latest GTA 6 trailer. What are some of your favourite details, or maybe you have some madcap theories about what we’ll be able to do in the game? Let us know in the comments!

This Is Your Last Chance to Save 30% on the Already Discontinued LEGO Ideas Tree House 21318

LEGO collectors, here's your last chance to score a great deal on an excellent LEGO set that has already been officially retired. Amazon is offering the LEGO Ideas Treehouse 21318 for $174.99, a 30% discount from its $250 list price. Note that this set was originally $200 at launch, but LEGO raised prices on several sets, including this one, back in 2022. This deal drops it to even lower than the launch price, which is almost unheard of for a discontinued set.

30% Off LEGO Ideas Treehouse 21318 (Officially Retired)

If you're familiar with the popular LEGO Bonsai kit, think of the Treehouse as a supersized version of it. This 3,036 piece set measures an impressive 14" x 10" x 9" and weighs in at over 8 pounds. This is a rather complex build that's intended for an older audience (16+). At first glance you might just see a majestic tree, but there's definitely more than meets the eye here. The fully landscaped base features a complete picnic setup next to a buildable stream. The treehouse itself is comprised of three separate cabins, each with removable rooftops and fully decorated interiors. There's even a windup crane for hauling goods up to the treetop. A full set of both green and yellow leaves are included to mimic your choice of season. And in keeping with the whole "green nature" aspect of this build, all the plant and tree elements are made of a renewable plant-based plastic as opposed to petroleum-based plastic.

This is a limited time Amazon Lightning Deal, so it won't stick around for long. It's already sold out and unlikely to return at the LEGO Shop. The LEGO Ideas lineup has been a favorite of mine because of the design variation, build complexity, and scale. The LEGO Treehouse is also more interactive than other display-type LEGO builds with accessible cabins, a working crane, and interchangeable foliage. Even at retail price, this is a LEGO build I would have recommended.

Disney Lorcana's Ninth Set - Fabled - to Be Released in September 2025 With A Goofy Movie and the First Iconic and Epic Cards

Disney Lorcana just revealed a ton of new info for the future of the trading card game, including that the ninth set - Fabled - will be released on September 5, 2025, with the first-ever Iconic and Epic cards and the long-awaited arrival of A Goofy Movie.

Alongside Fabled, more details were shared on Lorcana's eighth set - Reign of Jafar - ahead of its debut on June 6, a new Collection Starter Set was revealed, and details on the Disney Lorcana World Championship were given. Oh, and we can't forget about the tease of Darkwing Duck.

A lot of exciting info was unveiled for Disney Lorcana, and we're here to break it down to ensure you don't miss a thing.

Fabled Will Add Iconic and Epic Cards, A Goofy Movie, and Rotating Cards for Competitive Play

While we still have more to learn about Fabled, the teases given by the Disney Lorcana team are making the wait until pre-release on August 29 and wide release on September 5 just that much harder.

A Goofy Movie cards will be one of the biggest additions to Disney Lorcana with Fabled, but the team wasn't ready to share exactly which cards will become available. They did share, however, that Mickey and Minnie will be the very first Iconic Cards.

Iconic Cards will be the rarest cards in all of Lorcana, as only two will appear in each set going forward, and beautiful cards of Mickey and Minnie on a carousel will serve as the Iconic Cards all players will be chasing for their sets.

Alongside Iconic Cards will be Epic Cards, which are rarer than Legendary but not as hard to get as Enchanted and Iconic. These cards will also feature special artwork and foil treatments and will give players even more chances to score a special card like a new Elsa (Snow Queen) one.

Another big change in Fabled is that it will mark the first time Lorcana will be rotating out certain cards and making them illegal for competitive play. Top-level competitive play is called Core Constructed and will not allow players to use any cards from the first four sets of Lorcana.

Fans of older cards shouldn't worry too much though, as there will be plenty of ways to play your older cards, including in a new format called Infinity Constructed. Furthermore, Fabled will introduce reprinted cards from earlier sets - like Winnie the Pooh (Hunny Wizard) - and those will be fully usable in competitive play.

“To keep the competitive game thriving, rotating out older cards to encourage new strategies and fresh deck designs is a really important part of the next chapter,” said Ryan Miller, Brand Manager and Co Designer of Disney Lorcana TCG at Ravensburger. “But because we know there are cards in those early sets that are important to a lot of fans’ deck-building strategies, and we know not everybody got the cards they wanted the first year, we’re re-printing some cards from those first sets in Fabled. Including Enchanted versions of some fan favorites!”

If you are new to Lorcana and all of these new sets sound enticing and wonderful, the team has announced a new way to jump into this trading card game with the Collection Starter Set.

This set includes four Fabled booster packs, a Tinker Bell (Giant Fairy) "Glimmer Foil" Promo Card, one card portfolio with Mickey Mouse (Brave Little Tailor) on the front, and one collector's guide.

Reign of Jafar Offers Aladdin and Bambi Cards Alongside a New Co-Op Adventure

As we previously mentioned, Reign of Jafar is Lorcana's eighth set and it will be available in pre-release on May 30 and wide release on June 6.

Reign of Jafar will continue the ongoing story in Lorcana that stars the Disney villain, and the Lorcana team has given a summary of what fans can expect.

"Jafar now possesses the Hexwell Crown and, with it, he has corrupted Archazia’s Island to his wicked will," the official description reads. "Traps and illusions abound in Reign of Jafar, and glimmers like Jasmine – Steady Strategist and Rapunzel – High Climber will need to band together to steal back the crown and defeat the evil vizier."

Alongside Reign of Jafar, fans will be able to jump into Illumineers' Quest: Palace Heist, which is a new "co-op experience-in-a-box" that will allow four players to team up and take on Jafar and his minion.

As for the cards, fans will be able to try to get Bambi (Prince of the Forest), Flower (Shy Skunk), Thumper (Young Bunny), Jafar (High Sultan of Lorcana), Magic Carpet (Phantom Rug), Aladdin (Vigilant Guard), and much more.

Teases of the Future Include Whispers in the Well and Darkwing Duck

At the end of the presentation, Disney revealed that the set after Fabled will be called Whispers in the Well and it will arrive in Q4 2025. The team didn't share much, but a key art revealed Mickey, Ariel, and the likely addition of Disney Gargoyles into Lorcana. Oh, and that there is a new type of Glimmer abound.

Farther out, the team finally answered many fans' calls for Darkwing Duck to be added to Lorcana as it was confirmed he will be joining the game in 2026.

Get Ready For the Disney Lorcana World Championship

The competitve scene in Lorcana is heating up as the Disney Lorcana World Championship will take place on June 28 and 29 in Walt Disney World. This major tournament will see players from around the world competing for the envious title of the first annual Disney Lorcana TCG World Champion.

Fans not in attendance will be able to follow along live on Twitch.TV/DisneyLorcana with a team of casters that includes Rebekah (RebekahQuests), Baker (LorcanaVillain), Liam (The Illumiteers), Brandon (Bsquared24), and JD (JDZ Quest). Additionally, there will be a chance to obtain a non-foil 'A Whole New World' promo card during this time, but more details will be given in the future.

For more, check out what other TCGs alongside Disney Lorcana are worth getting into and our impressions of Lorcana's Archazia's Island expansion.

Event Horizon: Dark Descent Is a Long Overdue Prequel to the Movie

Nearly 30 years after it first hit theaters, Paul W.S. Anderson's Event Horizon is finally getting a prequel. IDW Publishing has revealed Event Horizon: Dark Descent, a five-issue comic book series that will explore the events leading up to the film and reveal what exactly happened to the original crew of the Event Horizon ship.

Dark Descent is written by Christian Ward (Batman: City of Madness) and drawn by Tristan Jones (Aliens: Defiance), with colors by Pip Martin (That Texas Blood) and cover art by Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.

Here's IDW's official description of Event Horizon: Dark Descent:

Embracing the hard-R rating of the shocking movie, EVENT HORIZON: DARK DESCENT #1 (of 5 issues) will lightspeed jump into comic shops this August. Taking place before the events of the film and completely accessible to new readers, this is the unbelievable story of the final fate of the original Event Horizon crew. What really happened to Captain Kilpack and the first crew as their ship journeyed across a nightmarish realm of torments beyond imagining? Abandon all hope as demonic forces - led by Paimon, the eyeless King of Hell - unleash agony and pure evil upon the crew in a gripping story.

“It's a huge privilege to be handed the keys of such a beloved film, one I take very seriously and I have some extremely exciting things up my sleeve," Ward said in a statement. "Big gory swings will be happening. You'll never see the film in the same light again.”

“I think what Christian's laying out and adding to the lore is going to surprise people," Ward said. "It's certainly given me a lot of gnarly, visceral stuff to chew on visually, which is always fun and knowing that this is being done directly in collaboration with the team behind the film certainly helps lock things in as something fans of the film will want to explore with us.”

Event Horizon: Dark Descent #1 will be released on August 20, 2025.

GTA 6 Trailer 2 Has an Easy-to-Miss Fake PS5 — and Fans Are Joking Rockstar Has Leaked the PS6

As eagle-eyed fans analyze each frame of the GTA 6 Trailer 2, one moment in particular has raised eyebrows.

In the scene where Lucia arrives home from community service to find Jason snoozing on the sofa, we see various items strewn about the lounge, including what looks like a PlayStation 5 next to the TV and, in the foreground, what looks like a DualSense controller.

These props are close enough to Sony’s console and controller to be a clear reference to PlayStation, but some fans are reading even more into it. The PlayStation reference, plus the trailer notice confirming the footage was entirely captured on PS5, has some wondering whether Sony has signed a co-marketing deal with Rockstar for the promotion of GTA 6.

The GTA series was once inexorably linked to PlayStation, and Rockstar and Sony have done deals like this before. GTA 6, which is expected to be the biggest entertainment launch of all time, would certainly be an aggressive marketing move from Sony, but you can imagine it’s hoping GTA 6 sells the PS5 Pro in huge numbers in time for the May 2026 release date. Assuming we don’t see a PC release at the same time as console, PS5 Pro will be the most powerful platform for what is expected to be the best-selling game of all time.

In the shorter term, fans are having fun with this PlayStation nod in the GTA 6 trailer, with some joking that it’s an early look at the PS6.

— PXL (@MisterPXL) May 6, 2025

"GTA 6 playable within GTA 6 before GTA 6," joked redditor WillyPepper.

Others are wondering if previous GTA games will be playable within GTA 6 in a nod to Rockstar's past, perhaps as one of the many mini-games. "Imagine they just casually put in GTA 4 remaster as a playable mini game," wondered Crazy-Path-7929. "What are the chances we get Vice City emulated in game?" asked PastorPoppyseed.

We’ve got plenty more on GTA 6 Trailer 2, including 70 brand new GTA 6 screenshots, confirmation of the trailer’s song, and much more analysis.

Having Trouble Sleeping While Traveling? Get a Dreamegg Portable Noise Machine for Just $8

A good night's sleep is essential for a healthy and productive day. If you're having trouble sleeping, especially when you're travelling and bedded in unfamiliar accomodations, then you might when to check out this deal today. Amazon is offering the diminutive Dreamegg portable white noise machine for a mere $8.16 after you clip the 15% off coupon and apply promo code "O4PRJZRG" during checkout. I bought one the last time this went on sale and it has worked as intended in a nursery, keeping the baby soundly asleep.

Dreamegg Portable White Noise Machine

The Dreamegg measures less than 2" cubed and weighs in at under 2oz, making it easy to carry along with you on your travels. You don't need to bring along a power brick or spare batteries either; the internal 1,000mAh battery (doubled in capacity compared to its gen 1 model) lasts all night long and the recharges over the universal USB Type-C standard.

In terms of its features, the Dreamegg sound machine offers 16 soothing nature sounds, including ocean waves, rain, birds, fan sounds, and, of course, white noise. Since it's supposed to be placed next to you on a beside table, it doesn't need to have oversized speakers, but the Dreamegg is still loud enough to help drown out other ambient noises that might otherwise keep you awake, like late night conversations, urban fauna their groove on, or music blaring outside.

For travellers with babies, this is a near essential device. In my experience, a white noise machine is one of the best ways to keep a baby sleeping, even in noisier environments, and a surefire way to maintain your sanity.

The Newest Apple iPads Are on Sale for Mother's Day

Mother's Day lands on Saturday, May 11, which means that there's still time to order a gift and have it delivered by this weekend. And what better Mother's Day gift than a brand new iPad? Fortunately, Amazon has dropped the price of several of the latest iPad models, including the 11th-gen Apple iPad (A16), the 7th-gen iPad Air, and the iPad Mini (A17 Pro). These are the lowest prices we've seen and either match or beat the best deals we saw during Black Friday.

$50 Off New 2025 Apple iPad 10.9" (A16) Tablet

For most people, the iPad (not the Air, Mini, or Pro) is the best model to get because it offers all the benefits of iOS as well as snappy performance at an affordable price. The current generation model was released on March 12, 2025, over two years after the previous generation (October 2022). The upgrades include a more powerful processor (A16 vs A14), more RAM (6GB vs 4GB), and more storage (128GB vs 64GB). Best of all, the launch price of $349 is actually lower than when the previous generation model was released, which was $399.

The specs that have carried over are the 10.9" Liquid Retina 2360x1640 (264ppi) display, USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the same camera. It's also compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard so you can convert it into a mini laptop for better workflow, making it one of the best iPads for students, and the newer Apple Pencil with USB-C.

$100 Off the New 2025 Apple iPad Air (M3)

Amazon is offering the 7th generation Apple iPad Air M3 tablets at the lowest prices I've seen so far. The 11" model is down to $499 and the 13" model is down to $699, both after a $100 off instant discount. That's the best price we've seen for this 2025 model with the M3 chip. The 7th gen iPad Pro Air was released in March and is the current generation model. It's only one year newer than the 6th gen model and the only major upgrade is the jump from the M2 to the M3 chip.

$100 off New Apple iPad Mini (A17 Pro)

Starting this week, Amazon is offering the current generation Apple iPad Mini (A17 Pro) for only $399.99 shipped after a $100 discount. The new iPad Mini was released in October of 2024 and features some pretty significant improvements over its predecessor, including a more powerful A17 Pro processor, double the base storage capacity, an updated faster Wi-Fi 6e protocol, a USB Type-C port that offers faster charging, and compatibility with the newer Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Apple Intelligence.

Looking for more iPad resources?

If you're not sure which iPad is best for you, we have an iPad guide which details which iPad model is ideal for which use case. If you intend want to get an iPad for schoolwork, we have a roundup of the best iPad for students as well. If you're looking for options outside of iOS, check out the best Android tablets of 2025.

Warfare Hits Digital Less Than Four Weeks After Releasing in Theaters

Director Alex Garland is best known for his sci-fi-leaning horror movies (Annihilation, Ex Machina, and the screenplay for 28 Days Later), though last year’s Civil War certainly seems a fitting bridge to the hyper-realistic horror of Warfare. Ray Mendoza's experiences serving as a Navy SEAL during the Iraq War form the basis of the film, which Eric Goldman’s Warfare review describes as "evoking feelings of dread and terror usually reserved for the darkest horror movies.”

Despite a cast featuring plenty of familiar faces, including Cosmo Jarvis (Shogun), Charles Melton (Riverdale), and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), Warfare isn’t meant to be an easy watch. Depending on your inclinations, that may be all the reason to make a trip to the theaters or to watch this one in the comfort of your own home. If you're part of the latter group, I have some good news: Less than four weeks after its initial release in theaters, Warfare is available on demand.

How to Watch Warfare Online

Warfare just arrived on digital platforms like Prime Video. The movie is also still showing in theaters. Warfare’s arrival on PVOD comes less than four weeks after the movie’s initial release in theaters on April 11.

Warfare Streaming Release Date

Warfare will eventually stream on Max because of a licensing agreement between A24 and Warner Bros. Recent A24 movies, like Heretic and Y2K, landed on the streaming service around four months after arriving in theaters. Assuming a similar timeline, Warfare should be available to stream on Max by mid-September.

What About the Physical Release?

Preorders are live for Warfare in 4K. The A24 website mentions that the release is expected to ship this summer, but an official release date is still up in the air. What we do know for sure are what special features are included in the physical release:

  • Commentary with Ray Mendoza, Alex Garland, and Military Consultant Brian Philpot
  • “Courage Under Fire: The Making of Warfare” Featurette
  • Set of Six Collectible Postcards with Behind-the-Scenes Photography by Alex Brockdorff

Cyclades: Legendary Edition Board Game Review

While the myths of ancient Greece bubble through the substrate of many board games – take Horrified: Greek Monsters, for example – there are surprisingly few that place them front and center. Narrow the frame to the way many people think about the age, one of conquest, bloodshed and warfare, and there are even fewer. Which might partly explain the success of 2009s Cyclades, a clever marriage of myth, wargame and more subtle strategic mechanisms. Now it’s back in a spanking new edition with some fun tweaks from its original expansions.

What's in the Box

Aficionados of the original Cyclades might recall its big, oblong box, but this new Legendary Edition comes in a standard-sized square package that’s crammed with goodies. There’s no longer a central map board, which has been replaced by board modules that you can rearrange to make different maps of different sizes, depending on the player count. You can even flip them over for a more advanced map variant. The large board to track gods, monsters and heroes still remains.

There are punch-out cardboard strips to represent the gods, while the heroes and monsters get a deck of cards each, plus cardboard standees for those that move around the map. Other punch-out tokens include various buildings and upgrades for the map, plus a horde of cardboard coins. Most of this gets tucked away neatly in a treasure-chest like box insert with a flip-up lid, a smart extra design feature to help you organize and pack away the game.

Each player gets a screen, a pile of cardboard control tokens, and a mix of wooden army and navy pieces all in their chosen color. There are six to choose from, rather than the original five, plus a seventh set of gray pieces that represent mercenaries, another new inclusion in this edition. These are nicely cut, but nothing to write home about. If you want to make your game pop even more on the table, there are plastic miniature upgrades available separately for the troops and the monsters, plus metal coins to chink satisfyingly in your hand.

Rules and How It Plays

The original Cyclades was an early example of a design trying to weave together the chaotic combat that characterized American gaming with the more refined sensibilities found in Germany. You start each round with that more genteel aspect, bidding in an auction for the favor of one of the available gods, which will determine your available actions for the rest of the turn. Some gods are face down, so that there are only as many available as the number of players, meaning someone has to take the weakest – and cheapest – god, Apollo. Each round one of the face-down gods and one of the face-up gods gets flipped, so all of them get cycled through.

Not all the gods are created equal. The war god, Ares, allows you to recruit or move troops, for example, while wise Athena allows you to build universities and recruit philosophers, neither of which have any immediate effect but can, in time, contribute toward victory. To up the ante, the higher bid slots begin to jump in increments of two, then five, while players will still need to consider holding resources to pay for their actions, most of which also cost money. Finally there’s Apollo who, while free, does very little, allowing you merely to up the income from two of your provinces.

All of this means competition in the bidding can be intense, depending on the board situation, with winning or losing a particular god having a huge impact on the game state. It’s a fraught, exciting auction when there’s a lot riding on a turn, with various other considerations feeding into the bids. Sometimes it’s worth trying to outbid an opponent just to keep yourself safe from a land or sea attack. Sometimes it’s worth leaving yourself short-changed in terms of paying for actions just to corner a particular deity. It’s a dynamic phase, with plenty of interaction.

Winning or losing a particular god has a huge impact on the game state.

Winning requires you to control three metropolis pieces. You can gain these by swapping four different basic buildings, each of which is granted by a different god, or by cashing in four of Athena’s philosophers. One of the other gods, Hera, allows you to recruit heroes, powerful on-board pieces with special powers that can also be sacrificed for a metropolis. Mighty Ajax, for instance, counts as two armies and can be exchanged for a metropolis if you control seven land spaces. Which brings us neatly onto the last way to gain one: take it off another player via military conquest.

Warfare in Cyclades is short and brutal. In a contested land or sea space you tot up the units on each side together with the value of a dice roll with the loser removing a piece. Repeat until only one side remains. While the dice only goes up to three, this can still be a surprisingly swingy affair. Resources, however, keep a cap on the violence. Each player only has eight army and navy pieces and, of course, winning the bid for Ares is the main way to gain and move troops, all of which limits how many campaigns you can conduct.

In this edition, however, there are sneaky ways round these restrictions. Hera not only allows you to gain heroes but also mercenary troops, meaning you can expand on your paltry tally of eight. And all the gods allow you to make heroic moves, which essentially means you can move and fight with any army that includes a hero. This gives the game a surprising amount of maneuverability, clashing not only over valuable buildings but spaces that provide income, and makes heroes particularly valuable pieces to risk in a fight.

It also means turns that feature Hera or Ares can feel heavily weighted in terms of tilting the game state. And if everyone wants a piece of the action, that can very much be the case. Cyclades, however, is a game about taking the rough with the smooth. You can prosper without violence by taking cheaper bids on weaker gods and building up your infrastructure. But everyone around the table has to be okay with a game where your attempt to play economically can potentially be undermined by a burst of conflict. It’s all about knowing when to change tack, balancing the time to strike out with the time to shepherd resources, but having war and peace so close to one another in the same package can sometimes feel jarring.

Warfare in Cyclades is short and brutal.

Either approach can really benefit from mythological creatures, which you can purchase with any god other than Apollo, but more peaceable players are more likely to be able to afford them. They’re pretty powerful and so work as an effective balance against big bids on warlike gods. Most are one-shot effects, like the Satyr who lets you steal a philosopher from another player, or the Harpy, who destroys an army. Others, however, get a piece on the board which you can keep and move from turn to turn if you’re willing to sacrifice priestesses, gained by winning the auction for Zeus. These include horrors like the kraken, who simply wipes out all fleets in whatever space it enters. Pushing these beasts around the map is enormous fun, so long as you can afford the priestesses to do so.

Acid Box Blends Time Travel, '90s Nostalgia, and Music Culture

We at IGN have long been big fans of writer Kieron Gillen, whose Immortal X-Men won IGN's Best Comic Book Series or Original Graphic Novel of 2022 award. So when Gillen sings the praises of another comic, we're always going to sit up and take notice. That's why Acid Box, a new graphic novel heavily steeped in the UK's '90s music scene, is now on our radar this year. Gillen writes, "Dancefloor history meets family history via psychic reality-skipping quest. Take your brain to another dimension. Pay close attention.”

With the crowdfunding campaign for Acid Box now live, IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of this stylish graphic novel. Get a closer look in the slideshow gallery below:

Acid Box is a collaboration between writer Sara Kenney and artists James Devlin, Emma Vieceli, and Ria Grix, with colors by Sofie Dodgson, and lettering by Hassan Otsman-Elhaou. The book is being published through Avery Hill.

Here's the official description for Acid Box:

In Acid Box, Jade Nyo just wants to listen to some music and to get wasted. And then, late one night while out clubbing with her brother, Jade meets a mysterious trio of women who call themselves the Liminals, who tell Jade she must help them avert a global disaster. They give Jade an Acid Box, which controls portals through space and time. Only the Acid Box is broken, and when Jade travels back in time to 1994, she discovers that changing history might be too much for just one person to fix....

“Is your happy place a bouncing dance floor?” said Kenney in a statement. “Are you nostalgic for the parties of the ‘90s? Are you determined to have fun even on the brink of disaster? Do messy main characters give you life? Is supporting art communities and youth access to those communities important to you? Do you just love comics? If you answer yes to any of these questions, you will not want to miss Acid Box.”

"Telling a story that combines music, time travel, and adventure, Acid Box is an emotional graphic novel about the state of climate change around the globe, and an important commentary on personal responsibility," said Avery Hill Publisher Ricky Miller. "When Sara contacted me about Avery Hill getting involved in putting out this book, I was immediately attracted to the themes and subject matter. It’s a story about power, control, and nature, as well as dancing, recreational drugs and dance music in the '90s! As someone who is from the '90s I could identify with this, although I was too nerdy to go to raves; I was probably at home reading comics. This is a really enjoyable read for those who were there in the '90s and even for those who weren’t there (and if you remember it then you probably weren’t there anyway, right?)."

The Kickstarter campaign for Acid Box is live now.

Elden Ring: Nightreign - Ironeye Hands-On Impressions – IGN First

While the bow has always been a powerful weapon in Elden Ring, generally, it’s meant as a support weapon – something you use to pull aggro, or to weaken an enemy from afar before switching to your main weapon once they get into range, or to cause that one bird to fall to its death and farm its runes over and over again. But when you’re playing as the Ironeye in Nightreign, the bow is the heart and soul of the class, which results in a playstyle that’s very much unlike any of the other eight classes in Nightreign, and one that is probably the closest thing to a support class that Nightreign offers. Check out Ironeye in the exclusive gameplay video below.

The first thing I noticed while playing with the Ironeye is that they are a very squishy class. They can of course use any weapon they pick up, but the main reason why you’ll want to always have a bow handy is mainly so that you can stay out of the fray and not have to worry about taking hits, because it doesn't take many to put you down, especially early on. Fortunately, your starting bow is pretty solid. It does decent damage and has Mighty Shot as its skill, which lets you attack from super far away, deal extra damage, and deal some extra poise damage as well.

It's worth mentioning as well that the way bows work has been largely reworked in Nightreign. For one, they fire much faster, and you’re able to move much quicker while shooting at a locked-on enemy. You also thankfully don’t need a supply of arrows anymore. This does mean that you’re stuck with whatever arrow type your weapon comes with, but it’s definitely nice to not have to worry about how many arrows you have left or potentially running out of arrows in a boss fight. As for other neat new touches: There’s a new animation for when you shoot an arrow out of a roll; you’re able to do cool acrobatic stuff like run up walls, leap off, and loose an arrow for style points; you don’t have to go into first-person mode when manually aiming, and move much faster while doing so; the strong attack can fire a spread of three arrows that can hit multiple enemies at once; and yes, you can now backstab or use a visceral attack on a downed enemy with an arrow. Basically, everything that was missing from the bow in order to make it a viable primary weapon in base Elden Ring feels accounted for here in Nightreign.

When you’re playing as the Ironeye in Nightreign, the bow is the heart and soul of the class.

The Ironeye’s main skill is Marking, which is a very fast dashing dagger attack that goes through enemies and leaves them with a mark that will add extra damage from all sources. It's got a very short cool down, which means you can basically always have it up on a boss as long as you’re being attentive to when the debuff is active. It’s also a great mobility tool as it lets you pass right through enemies to get out of a bad spot.

Ironeye’s ultimate is Single Shot, which as the name implies, is a single powerful shot. This is basically Mighty Shot on steroids. It takes a bit to charge up, but you’re fully invulnerable during the animation, and once it’s fired, the shot deals big damage and goes through virtually everything straight ahead, making it great at taking out groups of enemies all at once.

What makes Ironeye shine on a squad is how good they are at reviving allies from a safe distance.

What really makes the Ironeye shine on a squad, though, is how good they are at reviving allies from a safe distance. You see, the way ally revival works in Nightreign is that when someone goes down, there is a little partitioned circle that fills up above their character. By attacking your downed ally, you’re able to empty that circle little by little, and when it’s all emptied, they will return to life. Most classes need to get up close and put themselves at significant risk to try and revive an ally, or they must expend mana to cast a ranged spell, or maybe even use their ultimate skill, but the Ironeye can do it safely from a distance and without using any resources. That’s an extremely valuable thing to have, and it can be the difference-maker between a successful and failed run. The downside is that every time an ally faints, another partition is added to the circle, and while Ironeye is great at rezzing allies that have only gone down once or twice, they will struggle to revive an ally that requires all three parts of the circle to be cleared, since they just don't have that kind of damage output from far away, unless they use their ultimate just for revival.

While they may not be able to dish out the same kind of damage as some of the other classes, the Ironeye’s presence is always felt on a squad. Between their marking ability that makes everyone hit just a little bit harder, to their passive that increases the amount of items that everyone finds, to their mob clearing ult, and to their unique ability to easily and safely revive people from a distance, the Ironeye’s utility is nearly unmatched among the rest of the nightfarers.

Host Mortem: Preview the Carmen Sandiego-Inspired Murder Mystery

We love a graphic novel with a good backstory behind it, and Host Mortem certainly has one. This extremely meta book is not only inspired by classic film noir like The Big Sleep, it's written by and stars two former hosts of the Carmen Sandiego game shows, Kevin Shinick and Greg Lee.

With the Kickstarter campaign for Host Mortem now live, IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of the graphic novel. Check out some newly revealed preview pages and a brand-new cover from Dracula: The Impaler artist Kelley Jones in the slideshow gallery below:

Host Mortem is created and written by Shinick, who previously hosted Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? before going on to write for shows like Robot Chicken and comics like W.E.B. of Spider-Man. Lee was previously the host of Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego? The book is illustrated by Damien Torres (Marvel Crisis Protocol) and Andrea Schiavone (Gangsters Versus Nazis), colored by Pippa Bowland (Judge Dredd, Project Cryptid), and lettered by Taylor Esposito (Red Hood and The Outlaws). The book features cover art by Kelley Jones, Tony Foti, Timothy Anderson, and Damien Torres.

Host Mortem sees Shinick and Lee dragged through time after an ill-fated Comic-Con appearance. Arriving in 1947, they find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery involving the stars of The Big Sleep, and only Shinick and Lee's vast knowledge of Hollywood trivia can save them.

“I think what Kevin’s come up with is simply brilliant and it continues to be a blast just getting to be a small part of it,” said Lee in a statement. “With his hilarious and nuanced writing I actually feel I’ve spent time in 1947. Why I didn’t buy some potential stock or at least win an Oscar pool while I was there is beyond me. Instead, Kevin puts me in the middle of a murder scene and expects me to rely on my game show trivia to help him solve the crime. But the real crime is that we don’t know the first thing about being detectives so it’ll probably come down to something random like knowing Humphrey Bogart’s middle name. (It was DeForest, by the way. A fact I know because I’m a game show host and not a detective!) Luckily, Kevin’s a great friend and a talented writer, so this project is nothin’ but “win-win-and more win” for me and, if I’m being honest, for all our backers and readers.”

“Working on Host Mortem has been the biggest and most rewarding story of my career so far,” said Torres. “Comics has been my dream, but film is my first love, and I’ve been afforded the opportunity to bring that love into this graphic novel. As someone who is a fan of the likes of Sean Phillips, Greg Smallwood, Lee Weeks, David Mazzucchelli, and Alex Toth to name a few, channeling the use of heavy black has been key to nailing the noir tone. Researching the 1940s and grounding the scenes with iconic LA landmarks has helped bring pages to life, and I’ve worked to make that authenticity show through in each panel. Watching a good number of Bogart and Bacall films hasn’t hurt one bit either. I’d be remiss in not mentioning how fun and thorough Kevin Shinick’s writing is, and an honor it’s been to work with someone who happened to play a part in my childhood!”

The crowdfunding campaign for Host Mortem is live now.

What Song Is Playing in the New GTA 6 Trailer?

Rockstar has finally revealed Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 2, so naturally, fans have one question on their minds: what song is playing in the new GTA 6 trailer?

The two-and-a-half-minute video puts all of the action and romance of Vice City at the forefront but doesn’t let viewers forget that Rockstar loves to pack its soundtrack full of incredible music. GTA 6 won’t break tradition, with today’s second trailer backed by Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters. It’s another ’80s hit that doesn’t get much radio play in 2025, and it does a great job of setting the tone for the next open-world sandbox from the Grand Theft Auto team.

Hot Together is the title track from the California trio’s 1986 pop R&B record and comes in at four minutes and 13 seconds long. Aside from being a steamy dance cut very obviously born in the ‘80s, Hot Together already feels right at home in this revamped version of Vice City. It also doesn’t crack The Pointer Sisters’ top 10 most popular songs on Spotify at the time of this piece’s publication, but there’s a good chance that will change as the day rolls on.

GTA 6 was properly announced with its first trailer in December 2023. It was a dreamy look at Rockstar’s new world that features Florida-born rockstar Tom Petty’s Love Is a Long Road. Along with a swift boost to the song’s popularity, the footage had fans spinning theories about how the Full Moon Fever track might be teasing more about what GTA 6’s story and characters have in store. These same fans will surely be analyzing Hot Together while we wait for GTA 6 to launch next year.

Following a recent delay, Grand Theft Auto 6’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S release date is set for May 26, 2026. For more on Rockstar’s highly anticipated video game, you can read up on why GTA 6 Trailer 2 has PC players worried. New Star Wars Novel Will Explore the Post-Rise of Skywalker Universe For The First Time

We’re finally getting a taste of what lies beyond The Rise of Skywalker — but not from Shawn Levy. Yet, at least. While the Deadpool and Wolverine filmmaker’s upcoming Star Wars film Star Wars: Starfighter is still highly anticipated, fans will now get to explore the Star Wars universe in the aftermath of the 2019 film a little sooner, through a new young adult novel titled Star Wars: The Last Order.

The book, which was revealed via publisher Penguin Random House’s website, will take a deeper dive into John Boyega’s beloved hero Finn and Naomi Ackie’s resistance ally Jannah, who fans met in Rise of Skywalker. The publisher's official synopsis for the novel, which was written by Kwame Mbalia, reads:

“Following the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the Resistance rescues a ship full of young passengers who had been kidnapped by the First Order. As Finn and Jannah set out to find the First Order officer responsible before he can endanger any more children, the two former stormtroopers must wrestle with their own complicated pasts as soldiers of the oppressive regime.”

This marks the first Star Wars project that explores the universe after the events of Rise of Skywalker, despite not being the first planned project to do so — and as for Levy’s post-Rise of Skywalker output, it’s definitely still firmly on the horizon.

Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy spoke on the project in an interview with Deadline back in February, where she explained how the Star Wars timeline will shift with this new entry. “It’s all post-[the first] nine,” she said. “Shawn’s is a standalone Star Wars story that'll take place post-nine, maybe five or six years out.” Last month, the writer on the project, Jonathan Tropper, reconfirmed his enthusiasm for the film, telling Screen Rant, "I hope it's on the way sooner than you think." Days later, the release date for the film was announced — with Ryan Gosling confirmed to star — at Star Wars Celebration Japan.

According to the Penguin Random House, Star Wars: The Last Order will be released on October 21, 2025… and we still have some waiting to do when it comes to Levy’s film, which will be released on May 28, 2027.
