Bangladesh were scheduled to play three Twenty20 World Cup matches in Kolkata next month, with the 7 February to 8 March tournament being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Executive chair Richard Baker to replace Marc Metrick after company misses $100m interest payment on debt

Saks Global said on Friday that its CEO, Marc Metrick, has stepped down and named executive chair, Richard Baker, as his successor, amid reports that the luxury retailer is preparing for bankruptcy.

The change at the top comes days after the Wall Street Journal reported that the Neiman Marcus parent company is preparing for bankruptcy after missing an interest payment exceeding $100m on debt from its Neiman merger.

Les termes financiers de la transaction n’ont pas été divulgués, une source proche du dossier estimant toutefois la valorisation de Manus, basée ‍à Singapour, entre 2 et 3 milliards de dollars (1,70 ‍et 2,55 milliards d'euros). Manus n'a pas répondu immédiatement à une demande de commentaire.

STOCKHOLM, ‌2 janvier (Reuters) - Une grande majorité des nouvelles voitures immatriculées en Norvège l'année dernière étaient entièrement électriques, ‍ont montré les données officielles vendredi. Le transition rapide vers l'électrification de la Norvège, pays producteur de pétrole, contraste avec le reste de l'Europe, où la faible demande ‍de voitures électriques (VE) a incité l'Union ‍européenne, le mois dernier, à revenir sur son projet d'interdiction des voitures à ⁠moteur à combustion interne pour 2035. Grâce aux incitations fiscales, ​95,9% de toutes les nouvelles voitures immatriculées en Norvège en 2025 étaient des VE, ​ce chiffre atteignant presque 98% en décembre.
