Ilya Sorokin, in his first start after missing seven games, reminded the Islanders exactly what he means to them in Tuesday’s 9-0 win over the Devils.

Anthony Duclair scored a hat trick to lead the Islanders to a 9-0 beatdown over the Devils, tying their largest margin of victory in franchise history.

The 24-year old, who went undrafted out of Ohio State, played six NHL games with the Canucks across the 2022-24 seasons and acquitted himself well in his first as an Islander.
