Comatose and Washed Up, 1,000 Endangered Sea Turtles Are Rescued in Florida

The reptiles, an endangered species, were incapacitated when the water temperature plummeted after a rare winter storm hit the Panhandle last week.
Rescuers combed the shoreline of St. Joseph Bay in the Florida Panhandle last week to search for turtles in cold-induced comas.
