The Secret Service agent Clint Hill clambered onto the trunk of President John F. Kennedy’s limousine in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, moments after shots were fired. As the first lady, Jacqueline Kennedy, tried to climb out of her seat, he pushed her back, preventing her from falling to the ground. He was credited with saving her life.
