Multiplayer Racer Boom Karts Supports VR & Mobile Crossplay

11 décembre 2025 à 21:00

Free-to-play multiplayer racer Boom Karts VR is out now on Quest, supporting crossplay with the mobile edition.

Originally launched on iOS and Android, free-to-play racing game Boom Karts has now received a VR edition from Finnish developer Zaibatsu Interactive. This arcade racer sees you try to secure the race wins using power-ups while avoiding obstacles and traps, racing friends and sabotaging rivals along the way. Now, it's come to Quest 2, Pro, 3, and 3S.

Featuring ranked leagues and ranked matches, Boom Karts VR also comes with an adventure mode and quests. Cars and characters can be customized alike through both cosmetic items and unlocking additional upgrades. Compared to the mobile edition, the VR edition of Boom Karts contains various new features like playing in a theater mode.

Game-specific friend lists are also available, as is a 'Teams' option that sees your group unlocking rewards, upgrades, and new items to upgrade your kart. One and two-handed control schemes are supported for the Meta Quest's Touch controllers, as are USB controllers.

Synthwave Courier Sim Transmission: Shortwave Is Out Now On Quest

11 décembre 2025 à 20:45

Transmission: Shortwave, a casual VR delivery driving sim set in a retro-futuristic Great Britain, is now available on Quest.

Marking the debut VR game from British indie studio Cardboard Sword, you may recall Transmission: Shortwave recently appeared in the UploadVR Winter Showcase. Taking place in an alternative 1990s Great Britain, you're tasked with delivering parcels across these UK-inspired landscapes at your own pace as a member of ParcelPal.

Detailing this further, Cardboard Sword calls Transmission: Shortwave a reflection of the team's “tongue-in-cheek humour and nostalgia.” Leaning into the retro aesthetic, Transmission: Shortwave comes with an original soundtrack that's inspired by early electronic dance music.

The developer states you can simulate driving “as much or as little” as you'd like, letting you use optional shifters, handbrakes, and turn signals. As you progress across the game, you can customize your courier by gradually unlocking different car models and colors.

Transmission: Shortwave is out now as a Meta Quest exclusive for $4.99.

Pocket Lands, a mixed reality sandbox game where you can create miniature worlds, is out now in early access on Quest.

Originally announced at last month's VR Games Showcase, Pocket Lands is a tabletop voxel sandbox game from Thomas van den Berge (Vermillion) through Mountainborn Studios. You can create diorama-like worlds across different biomes in mixed reality with support for both Touch controllers and hand tracking, then explore them in first person with fully immersive VR.

In its current early access release, Pocket Lands features various biomes and the ability to create worlds of different sizes. The game also supports a day and night cycle, empty dioramas for building without distractions, quick construction tools, and a virtual camera to record and share your different builds.

For the full release, Thomas van den Berge previously advised Pocket Lands will launch in “the second half of 2026”. The store page's “coming soon” section lists planned features such as multiplayer, cave systems, underground biomes, new surface biomes, creatures that roam these lands, and more. However, it's unclear if each feature will arrive at full release or across incremental updates.

11 décembre 2025 à 18:45

Dimensional Double Shift is out now on Samsung Galaxy XR, coinciding with the game's “largest update ever.”

Previously released on Quest in early access, Dimensional Double Shift is a hand tracking party game where you serve food orders and fix motor vehicles for the locals of each dimension you visit. Following October's New Joysey DLC, it's now available on Samsung Galaxy XR headsets and offers cross-platform multiplayer support with Meta Quest headsets.

Today's Samsung Galaxy XR launch is also joined by Dimensional Double Shift's free Winter Update. Developer Owlchemy Labs confirmed that this includes Solo Practice Experiment, its first single-player mode for the former co-op only experience, which teaches you the game's core systems.

Other new features include rotating weekend Boosters, starting with a limited-time 'Midas Touch' modifier where everything you touch turns to gold. Other Boosters include turning your mouth into a flamethrower, stretching your arms further, and more. Finally, the game's celebrating 'Snow-vertime Fest' from December 18 until January 5, adding a festive hub alongside winter-themed avatar cosmetics and new interactions.

Coldplay Gets Beat Saber DLC & Free Meta Horizon Concert This Month

10 décembre 2025 à 16:00

Beat Saber gets a Coldplay Music Pack next week, and the band's hosting a free concert event on Meta Horizon later this month.

Revealed earlier today, Meta confirmed it's partnering with iHeartMedia to bring Coldplay's worldwide concert tour, Music of the Spheres, to Meta Horizon with a free immersive experience. Kicking off on December 30 at 11am PT, it's using stereoscopic 180-degree VR and that's based on the band's stint at Wembley Stadium.

While the full track list hasn't been revealed yet for Music of the Spheres: An Immersive Experience, Meta confirmed that featured songs include 'Yellow', 'Fix You', 'Viva La Vida', 'A Sky Full Of Stars', and 'feelslikeimfallinginlove'. Free Coldplay avatar merchandise has also been promised, and that's now available via the Avatar editor in VR or the concert pages on iOS and Android.

As for Beat Saber, today's blog post also revealed that the rhythm game's receiving a Coldplay Music Pack on December 18. This includes 12 new songs for $14.99 or $1.99 for individual tracks.

While this introduces a new environment “inspired by the band’s live shows,” it's unclear whether this shares the same track list from the upcoming immersive experience or uses different songs.

Finally, following its original appearance in 2022, Coldplay is also returning to fitness app Supernatural in the US and Canada with three new workouts. Starting on December 29, this includes two multi-intensity Boxing and Flow workouts, which Meta states will blend older singles like 'Fix You' and 'Viva La Vida' with more recent releases like 'feelslikeimfallinginlove' and 'WE PRAY'.

Guardians Planetfall Could Be VR's Answer To Helldivers 2

5 décembre 2025 à 20:30

Guardians Planetfall looks like VR's answer to Helldivers 2, bringing a new squad-based shooter to Quest 3 and PC VR next year in early access.

Revealed during the UploadVR Winter Showcase, Guardians Planetfall is a follow-up to 2023's Guardians Frontline by VirtualAge. Set in an ongoing galaxy-wide war, this supports up to four players per squad as you defeat alien threats, soldiers, and war machines across different planets, battlefields, and more. You can see the reveal trailer below.

0:00
/1:05

Announcement trailer

While Frontline actively mixes FPS and RTS mechanics, Guardians Planetfall takes a different approach while remaining in that same universe. The upcoming game involves team-based PvE and extraction missions as you fend off two different factions: the Void Empire, and an evolved Bugs race. You can customize your strike ship, suits and weapons, choosing where to deploy your squad for missions.

VirtualAge states mission locations will range across all extremes such as deserts, jungles, frozen outposts and “lava scarred” strongholds. Beacons can be deployed to call in orbital support for air strikes and various tools, while antigravity gloves let you climb most surfaces. Jetpacks can help reach higher ground, each mission has optional secondary objectives for earning greater rewards, while items placed into your backpack are only rescued if you successfully evacuate.

Completing these procedural missions then allows you to upgrade your ship, using blueprints and resources to upgrade its offensive, defensive, supply, and support systems. This unlocks new orbital abilities, and you'll travel between different star systems and planets across this campaign. Missions change who controls a specific planet and once you've cleared a campaign, the galaxy resets.

Much like Frontline, Guardians Planetfall also features an in-game map editor where you build missions in VR. This allows you to alter terrain, structures, enemy encounters, objectives and more, which can then be shared with the community and edited in co-op too.

We recommended Planetfall's predecessor in our 2023 review, calling Guardians Frontline an “ambitious attempt to combine the best elements of two disparate genres” and giving it our recommendation. Further post-launch updates later followed that included adding a large enemy known as 'The Queen', while 'Update 1.5' introduced a revised editor mode.

Guardians Planetfall will launch in early access on Quest 3/3S and Steam in 2026.

5 décembre 2025 à 20:25

UploadVR is celebrating our Winter Showcase with a new Humble Bundle, featuring nine SteamVR games for $17.

Available for the next three weeks, the UploadVR Winter 2025 Showcase Bundle is now live following today's showcase. This time around, it's split between two separate tiers, with the games individually costing a combined total of $219.

The $10 tier comes with four games: After The Fall: Deluxe Edition, Guardians: Frontline, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and A Fisherman's Tale 2 (previously known as Another Fisherman's Tale). Choosing the $17 tier then adds the remaining five: Z.O.N.A: Origin, Metal: Hellsinger VR, I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine, Ghosts of Tabor, and Hellsweeper VR.

Charity proceeds will support the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and you can adjust the revenue split between publishers, Humble and its chosen charities. While the above prices are the minimum you can spend on each tier, you can select how much you pay if you're looking to donate more.

The UploadVR Winter 2025 Showcase Bundle ends on December 26 at 6pm PT.

Birdseed VR Confirms Full Release Window On Quest & Steam

5 décembre 2025 à 19:55

Birdseed VR targets a March 2026 launch for the free-to-play birdwatching sim on Quest and Steam.

Currently available in early access on Quest for solo play, Birdseed VR by Buffalo Buffalo (Fresh Tracks VR) sees you aim to get the best possible camera shots, giving your pictures a star rating. As seen in today's UploadVR Winter Showcase, the Vancouver-based studio confirmed Birdseed's full release is coming this March on both Quest and PC VR.

/1:07

The game aims to mimic real-life avian behavior like movement, appearance, flight patterns and distinctive calls, equipping you with binoculars and different camera lenses to capture these moments. Daily challenges are available and online multiplayer will be supported at full release, letting you share photos with friends and hang out across the forests in online co-op.

Other changes in Version 1.0 include the launch of Scout’s Shop, which comes with premium cosmetics and tools. This will add vintage camera skins, charms for your viewfinder, and more. The developer states that premium items won't directly impact gameplay, calling this “completely optional” for players.

Following October's early access launch, Birdseed VR released a quality-of-life update two weeks ago. That introduced the Field Guide for tracking challenges, and completing these tasks awards bottle caps that “can be exchanged for future goods and tools.” More observable birds were also added, alongside a new scoring system and real-time feedback system to track your challenge progress.

Birdseed VR is out now in Early Access on Quest 3 and 3S, with the full release coming in March 2026 on Quest and Steam.

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger Sets Sail Next Month On Quest 3

5 décembre 2025 à 19:40

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger finds a new destination with next month's launch on Quest 3 and 3S.

Developed by Split Light Studio, Pirates VR: Jolly Roger initially reached Steam back in January before later heading to PlayStation VR2. An action adventure game set on a cursed Caribbean island where you search for Davy Jones' treasure, today's UploadVR Winter Showcase revealed that it's now getting a standalone release that's been “rebuilt and optimized for the Meta Quest platform.”

0:00
/0:48

Announcement trailer

Pirates VR sees you explore strange ruins alongside your sarcastic parrot companion, solving puzzles while fending off threats ranging from wild animals to undead pirates. Armed with various weapons like a magic lantern and flintlock pistol, this campaign lasts roughly four hours.

It's worth noting that VRKiwi, Pirates VR: Jolly Roger's original publisher on other platforms, isn't publishing this upcoming Quest 3 port. That's instead being handled by Incuvo, who recently launched Tracked: Shoot to Survive and are arguably best known for Green Hell VR.

We had mixed impressions during our Pirates VR: Jolly Roger review back in January on PC VR. Though we criticized some design issues and its “shallow” combat, we still ultimately enjoyed this roughly four-hour adventure, believing these shortcomings were “balanced out by rewarding exploration and great visuals.”

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is out now on PlayStation VR2 and Steam, while the Quest 3 edition will follow on January 29, 2026.

Stellar Cafe Serves Up A Release Date On Quest

5 décembre 2025 à 19:20

Stellar Cafe, a game built around voice-first input and unscripted AI conversations with NPCs, arrives next week on Quest.

First revealed in August, Stellar Cafe is the upcoming game from AstroBeam, a developer led by former Owlchemy Labs CEO Devin Reimer. It promises an experience built around voice-first input as you interact with robotic characters across a sci-fi café. AstroBeam states it's using human-crafted NPCs that interpret your voice, providing real-time responses via large language models.

0:00
/1:27

As confirmed in today's UploadVR Winter Showcase, it's now heading to Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S on December 11. While Reimer previously confirmed to UploadVR that Stellar Cafe won't be exclusive to Quest headsets, today's announcement didn't reveal anything further about additional platforms.

The upcoming game only supports hand tracking controls, and AstroBeam's using licensed technology from Owlchemy Labs. In our hands-on preview back in August, we considered it “a bold idea for a virtual reality game,” comparing it to Job Simulator but if the older hit's bots expected you to directly talk to them.

Stellar Cafe reaches the wider Meta Quest platform on December 11.

Mixed Reality Block Breaker Cues Gets Creator Mode Today

5 décembre 2025 à 19:15

Mixed reality block breaker Cues gets a new Creator Mode in today's free update.

Developed by No Ragrets Games, Cues is a roomscale mixed reality game with hand tracking controls where you bounce light orbs into colorful cubes to gradually create a dynamic symphony. As seen during today's UploadVR Winter Showcase, it's now receiving a free Creator Mode on its first anniversary. Here's the announcement trailer.

/0:50

As the name suggests, Creator Mode allows you to freely build your own layouts within the game across your living space, ranging from small models to larger fortresses. This joins the existing 'Free Play' and 'Puzzles' modes, the latter of which contains different puzzles with an increasing number of cubes as you progress.

We had considerable praise during our initial Cues hands-on in early access, calling it a “highly relaxing experience” with an approachable premise you can quickly understand. “The controls feel natural, these pleasingly colorful visuals are great, while the procedural symphonic music reacts to your movements well,” we said at the time.

Cues - Creator Mode is available today on the Meta Quest platform as a free update.

Banners & Bastions Reveals Full Release Date On Quest

5 décembre 2025 à 19:10

Mixed reality tactical roguelite Banners & Bastions confirmed its full release date on Quest.

Created by Not Suspicious (Airspace Defender, Tablecraft), Banners & Bastions is a tabletop roguelite with hand-tracking controls that's available in early access. Today's UploadVR Winter Showcase revealed that it's entering full release on December 15, with the 1.0 Update adding new hero units with unique special abilities, a new bestiary, an autumn battlefield biome, and more.

/1:23

Full release trailer

Version 1.0 follows a continuing series of updates across early access. Following October's addition of controller support, last month's content expansion added a new dragon boss battle and more foes. The latter update introduced a new playable Minefield card and two new enemy types - the Witch (ranged) and the Elite Swordsman (melee).

Battles occur across procedurally generated maps as you defend your kingdom, with tougher foes gradually emerging across fresh waves. You can continue investing in your local economy or fortifications, while your troops range from spearmen, knights, archers, and more.

Banners & Bastions is out now in early access on the Meta Quest platform, with the full release coming on December 15.

Dread Meridian Reveals Multiplayer Mode Before January Launch

5 décembre 2025 à 19:05

Upcoming VR horror game Dread Meridian is getting a multiplayer mode alongside its solo campaign with next month's launch.

Developed by KUKRGAME, Dread Meridian is an atmospheric VR survival horror game set across the island of Oglanbyen. Focused on a researcher called Daniella, we arrive at this remote arctic island searching for her lost twin sister, Isabella, solving puzzles and fending off strange creatures. As seen in today's UploadVR Winter Showcase, it's now confirmed multiplayer support, with a playtest coming before the end of the year.

0:00
/1:39

Pre-order trailer

While today's trailer didn't reveal much else about the upcoming multiplayer mode, the Dread Meridian development team revealed more to UploadVR in a written Q&A. The studio tells me it's considered multiplayer since the beginning, though focusing on Daniella's story was the priority before exploring how multiplayer could work across Oglanbyen.

“We wanted to make sure that we brought something new to the table with the elements that made Dread Meridian unique. Once we knew we were on the right path with our single player, then we started to experiment with how we could bring the exciting features of the world, the setting and especially the creepier elements to multiplayer.”

Dread Meridian has one multiplayer gameplay mode that supports four players per match, splitting your group into two teams. Cross-platform multiplayer support isn't available at launch, “but it's an important feature we plan to add in the future.”

You play as either the human survivors trying to escape Oglanbyen, or the monsters looking to hunt them down using special abilities. The developers confirmed that a full match takes place over multiple rounds, and you take turns playing between the humans and monsters.

“When playing as the humans, your goal is to destroy the monster's nests and escape through the extraction point. You must search for ammo and resources in order to survive the constant threat of the monster team. As a monster, you play as one of the unique twisted creatures with their own special abilities that are used to hunt, trap and defeat the human team.”

Asked about its long-term plans for supporting multiplayer, the studio states that it first plans to gauge the community's reaction and develop this mode further based on feedback. Calling this “such a different type of game mode from what's commonly seen in VR,” the studio says this means there aren't any best practices in place right now.

“We want our game to stand out, and not just build towards what is popular right now.”

Finally, I queried how the team plans to address feedback following mixed reception to Dread Meridian's previous playtests. Our own PC VR demo impressions praised the Lovecraftian adventure's body horror and unsettling mood, though we encountered numerous glitches that hampered our experience.

The developers highlighted positive responses to the game's immersion, art, and environments. However, they conceded that “we had several bugs that we had overlooked that caused negative experiences for our playtesters,” sometimes causing crashes. The studio advised it's since identified and resolved key issues behind these problems, stating it's now “dramatically improved” overall stability.

Dread Meridian will launch this January on PC VR and Quest, with pre-order skins available as a bonus.

VR Sci-Fi Shooter Exoshock Is Getting A Flatscreen Mode

5 décembre 2025 à 19:01

Exoshock released a new gameplay trailer, confirming the VR co-op shooter will get an optional flatscreen mode.

Developed by PolarityOne, Exoshock is a cooperative sci-fi PvE shooter with a gritty dystopian setting that's inspired by Warhammer 40k. This upcoming FPS promises intense firefights as you enter active war zones, prioritizing squad tactics for up to four players as you adapt using customizable loadouts. As seen in today's UploadVR Winter Showcase, it's received a new gameplay trailer.

0:00
/1:07

Notably, today's trailer also confirmed that Exoshock will receive an optional flatscreen mode on Steam, stating the game is “VR first with flat support.” It's unclear if this mode will be available straight away when the game launches, and we'll update this article if we learn more.

Though the full game isn't scheduled to launch until next year, Exoshock has recently been hosting alpha playtests through a free, limited-time Playtest App. The app provides immediate access to the Exoshock Staging Area, which allows you to try out every weapon straight away. Access can be requested through Steam, or the official Discord server for Quest.

Exoshock is heading to PC VR and Quest in Q1 2026.

Tracked: Shoot To Survive Update Lets You Keep Exploring After Finishing The Story

4 décembre 2025 à 21:00

Tracked: Shoot to Survive now lets you continue exploring after completing the story.

Following last month's release on Quest 3 and 3S, Incuvo has continued patching its latest survival adventure Tracked: Shoot to Survive. The first patch introduced visual upgrades, bug fixes and a new sleeping feature, and its second post-launch update, Patch 1.2.0, is now live. This lets you continue playing and exploring after rolling credits, spawning you back at your father's cabin.

Patch 1.2.0 for TRACKED is live! 🔥
Continue exploring after the story, never lose key items again, enjoy better nights, smoother crafting, a sharper knife… and tons of fixes across the whole game!

Full notes 👉https://t.co/D112ouZBL8 pic.twitter.com/P3eosG5qkb

— TRACKED: Shoot To Survive (@TRACKEDVR) December 4, 2025

Other changes largely focus on UX improvements and further bug fixes, such as changes to prevent you from losing critical narrative items. Knife damage has been buffed, new markers on the Fast Travel boards show currently active quest locations, missing sound effects have been fixed, and autosaves “should no longer occur at inopportune moments.” You can read the full patch notes here.

It's welcome news for Incuvo's latest VR game, as we came away with mixed impressions during our 3/5-star review. While we believe Tracked: Shoot to Survive offers an engaging survival adventure and praised its VR-focused crafting mechanics, we criticized its launch build for issues with its presentation, enemy AI, and performance.

Tracked: Shoot to Survive is available on Quest 3 and 3S.

4 décembre 2025 à 20:15

Developed by Urban Wolf Games, Legendary Tales is a dark fantasy RPG that received its full release in February 2024. Now, nearly two years after its full launch, it's lifted the curtain on its first DLC expansion.

Announcement trailer

Detailing the news on Steam, Urban Wolf Games states the DLC's name signifies a new beginning and marks “a new chapter” for Legendary Tales, also offering a nod to the game's ending song. Its content preview offered a look at three currently unnamed maps and three additional enemies: Fallen Warrior, Nangdo, and Succubus.

New item categories were also highlighted, with rings and two new types of weapons: Book and Staff. This upcoming DLC will also introduce five new legendary weapons, new 'Seal' features, and a quick slot for potions. Additional passive skills will be added, like the ability to reduce your casting time when using a different spell to the previous one.

To coincide with this announcement, Urban Wolf Games also announced that Legendary Tales has received a price reduction on both PlayStation VR2 and Steam. While it was previously available for $54.99, that's now been permanently reduced to $39.99.

Legendary Tales is out now on PS VR2 and Steam, and Dawn of History reaches both platforms in Q1 2026.

Oh My Galaxy! Brings A New Action Puzzler To Samsung Galaxy XR

4 décembre 2025 à 16:00

Oh My Galaxy! is a new mixed reality arcade puzzler that's out today on Samsung Galaxy XR.

Marking its first launch on Samsung's headset, Oh My Galaxy! is the latest game from FRENZIES developer nDreams Near Light. The premise involves transforming your room into an interplanetary playground, tasking you with saving planets from alien attackers using hand tracking controls to fling asteroids at them.

Release trailer

Near Light states there are over 100 increasingly difficult stages split across three main chapters, promising physics-based gameplay with various objectives. Defeating these aliens requires using different asteroids with unique abilities, ranging from the “high-explosive Boom Boulder to the six-part Splitter Stone.”

nDreams calls this one of the first “original titles” for Samsung's headset, joining launch titles Enigmo and Inside [JOB] as one of three currently exclusive Android XR games. However, while Enigmo is a timed exclusive that's coming to Quest, no further platforms were mentioned in today's announcement, so it's unknown if Oh My Galaxy! will eventually arrive elsewhere.

Oh My Galaxy! is available now on Samsung Galaxy XR for $9.99.

Cave Crave Adds Competitive Arcade Mode, PC VR Launch Next Week

4 décembre 2025 à 10:00

Exploration sim Cave Crave added an arcade mode and new horror map in its recent update, and a PC VR release will follow next week.

Developed by 3R Games, Cave Crave sees you exploring tight tunnels and caves as you try to find an escape, marking walls with chalk and using various tools. While this update will arrive “soon” on PS VR2, Quest players can now jump into a new Arcade Mode that turns this into a competitive race against time, where you aim for the quickest run on the online leaderboards.

As for Cave Crave's optional Horror Mode, that's been updated with a brand new map called 'Abyss,' where your goal is to simply make it back alive. 3R Games says that it's been “inspired by cosmic dread and subterranean monstrosities straight out of a Lovecraftian nightmare,” warning of something “ancient and malevolent” hiding in the dark.

This follows the addition of Utah's Nutty Putty Cave as a free update on both platforms, a real-life cave closed in 2009 after the death of John Edward Jones. 3R Games says this was recreated using the official cave map and additional data without gamifying it, stating its aim to offer a “respectful, authentic way” to explore this permanently closed site.

For the PC VR release, 3R Games confirmed it's now arriving on December 12 with almost all the Quest version's previously released updates - Arcade Mode is coming "shortly after launch." The developer also promised improved visuals like advanced lighting and shadows, dynamic water reflections, and sharper textures.

Cave Crave is out now on PlayStation VR2 and Quest, while the Steam version arrives on December 12.

Originally announced in September, Hello Kitty Skyland is being developed by Thirdverse (Soul Covenant, X8). Set in a virtual world called 'SKYLAND' with various Sanrio characters, the early access release features a central online lobby and a full-body multiplayer racing game called 'Sky Dash,' which seems to use Gorilla Tag-style locomotion. You can see that below with today's trailer.

Other features available in this month's early access launch include an avatar dress-up system, using various original outfits. Limited-time costumes themed around Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody are also included, though it's unknown how long they'll be available for.

It's currently unknown what further features will be added for the full release of Hello Kitty Skyland, and a targeted release window for that wasn't provided; Thirdverse only states that “the development team will gather player feedback and continue adding content toward the full release.”

Hello Kitty Skyland enters early access on December 22 on the wider Meta Quest platform as a free-to-play release with in-app purchases.

Here's the full list of cars being added: Ferrari 296 GT3 ’23, Ferrari 296 GTB ’22, FIAT Panda 30 CL ’85, Gran Turismo F3500-B, Mine’s BNR34 GT-R N1 base, Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R ’97, Polestar 5 Performance ’26, and the Renault Espace F1 ’95.

These aren't the only free additions in update 1.65, either. PlayStation Blog confirms other changes include Dunlop tires, a raised collector level cap, seven new events across World Circuits, and more weekly challenges. A new 'Data Logger' is accessible in non-racing modes, while further Café Menus and featured curations in Scapes mode are also included.

With the Power Pack DLC, Polyphony Digital states that it's “based around the theme of real racing.” The studio confirmed this offers various motorsports challenges such as full racing weekend formats, 50 new events across 20 categories, and 24-hour endurance races.

This DLC also exclusively contains the latest version of Gran Turismo 7's AI agent, Sophy 3.0, and completing Menu Book No.9 Championship unlocks the Power Pack pavilion on the world map, represented by a sailboat icon. Unlike Spec III, that's a paid content update costing $29.99 and includes 5,000,000 in-game credits.

Gran Turismo 7 is available now on PlayStation VR2.

Upcoming VR Games 2025: New Releases On Quest, PC VR, PS VR2 & More

1 décembre 2025 à 10:00

Searching for new VR games and upcoming releases? You're in the right place.

Recent years have seen more VR games than ever before. Major titles continue reaching Quest 3, Steam, PlayStation VR2, and Pico, with PC VR looking set for a renewed boost when Steam Frame launches. While Apple Vision Pro and Samsung Galaxy XR don't prioritize gaming, you can expect the odd release every so often. Whatever your headset, there are plenty more upcoming VR games to pick from.

Our aim is to keep this wider list that we will regularly update, so you can better plan ahead or remind yourself of the upcoming VR games you had perhaps forgotten about. If we notice a game getting repeatedly delayed just before launch, said game will be placed in the 'TBC' section until a firm commitment is made.

This also won't replace our more in-depth monthly round-ups – you can find more specific information about new VR games for December 2025 below.

New VR Games December 2025: Quest, SteamVR & PS VR2
From Thief VR to Men in Black, there’s still a few new VR games to come before 2025 ends. Here are our December highlights on Quest, Steam, and PS VR2.

Since Meta has dropped Quest 1 support entirely, Quest games going forward will only support Quest 2, Quest Pro, and/or Quest 3 and Quest 3S. You can find the Horizon Store and mobile apps (iOS/Google Play) here. If a game is only on Quest 3/3S, that will be noted as more games leave Quest 2/Pro behind. We expect that list to grow now that Quest Pro and Quest 2 are discontinued.

Similarly, releases on Pico 4 Ultra, Pico 4, or Neo 3 Link will just say 'Pico' – those games are viewable through apps (iOS/Google Play) or the web store. The PlayStation Store naturally covers PlayStation VR and PS VR2 games. Most PC VR titles are on Steam, but some are also on Rift, Viveport, itch.io, GOG, and EGS. Samsung Galaxy XR games are on Google Play, while the App Store covers Apple Vision Pro. We'll note other platforms where relevant, too.

For now, here's our list of upcoming VR games on all major platforms.

Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections Opens Applications For Focus Group Tests

2 décembre 2025 à 21:00

Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections will host in-person focus group tests across the US and Japan this month, opening applications today.

Initially announced in February before September's name reveal, Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections is an official VR game based on Neon Genesis Evangelion. Offering a new story set around episodes 1-11 of the original anime TV series, developer Pixelity Inc. announced that it's accepting public Focus Group Test applications before next year's launch.

Japan's test is scheduled to run from December 19 to 21, and that's being hosted in Tokyo. The United States is only hosting this for one day on December 19 in California, and applications are being accepted through Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections' X account.

Supporting VR and mixed reality gameplay, Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections is the first installment in a planned trilogy that aims to cover all 26 episodes of the TV series. Instead of using existing protagonist Shinji Ikari, Cross Reflections focuses on an original character who dreams of becoming a pilot, establishing connections with new characters and linking in with “key episodes” from the anime.

Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections will arrive next year on unconfirmed platforms, and a public demo is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026.
