Acer is expanding its graphics card selection, catering to gamers and creators looking to upgrade their DIY PC setups. The company is introducing new Acer Nitro Intel Arc A and B Series GPUs, alongside powerful Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC graphics cards.

All new Nitro graphics cards feature a durable aluminium backplate with a non-flex construction. They also come equipped with Acer Intelligence Space, a built-in central hub offering AI features that detect system hardware, suggest AI apps for performance optimisation, and assist in discovering new gaming tools. Further enhancing the gaming experience, Acer Game Assistance provides an adaptive aim mechanism, while Acer ProCam automatically recognises and records gameplay highlights.

The Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580 OC 12 GB is now available in a white finish, offering an alternative to the black variant released earlier this year. Featuring the same 2,740 MHz maximum clock speed and relatively compact form factor, the Nitro B580 OC allows easy integration into any DIY setup. Its FrostBlade cooling system, featuring a textured blade design and dual ball bearings, improves airflow and reduces noise by 8% compared to plastic fans. For more accessible performance, the Acer Nitro Intel Arc A380 LP 6 GB features a gaming clock of up to 2,000 MHz. Compared to the Nitro B580, it's even more compact, albeit not as capable. A blower-style fan effectively dissipates heat, making it ideal for compact setups.

Acer's lineup also includes two new AMD Radeon models: the Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16 GB and the Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 8 GB. Both models can achieve boost speeds of up to 3,320 MHz and game clocks of up to 2,780 MHz. Cooling for these Radeon models is handled by two Axial fans, which operate quietly and tolerate higher temperatures thanks to their dual ball bearings and lubricating oil.

As part of its Computex 2025 announcements, AMD has given gamers an early glimpse at the company's next major evolution in FSR technology. Named FSR Redstone, this new iteration aims to introduce new machine learning-based features that will directly compete with Nvidia's DLSS.

While not included in the media pre-briefing, AMD did discuss FSR Redstone a little bit at Computex. Videocardz managed to get hold of the slides, which you can see below:

Although AMD did not provide exhaustive technical specifics for Redstone, the chipmaker emphasised three key machine learning-driven technologies central to its functionality: neural radiance caching, machine learning ray regeneration, and machine learning frame generation. Some of these capabilities might sound familiar, as they are already part of DLSS's suite.

Neural radiance caching, as AMD explains, aims to learn how light reflects within a scene, predicting and caching indirect lighting assets to accelerate path tracing. The machine learning ray regeneration feature is functionally similar to Nvidia's Ray Reconstruction, utilising a trained neural network to restore or regenerate pixels that could not be precisely ray-traced, which should improve the quality of reflections and reduce noise. Finally, FSR Redstone's machine learning frame generation uses an upgraded machine learning model to predict and reconstruct lower-resolution frames to optimise performance and create smoother, clearer inter-frames.

AMD has not committed to a precise date for FSR Redstone's debut, only indicating a release in the latter half of this year.

Nvidia's RTX 50 series GPUs remain a hotbed of leaks, with the latest whispers pointing towards RTX 5080 Super variant specifications. The original source of this information is unknown, but it has been shared online by well-known leaker Kopite7kimi.

According to Kopite7kimi, the RTX 5080 Super will reportedly feature the GB203-450 GPU, retaining the same 10,752 CUDA cores as the standard RTX 5080. However, the key upgrade lies in its memory configuration. The rumoured Super model is tipped to come with 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is expected to be achieved by using 3 GB GDDR7 modules.

This memory improvement isn't just about capacity. The RTX 5080 Super is also rumoured to pack in 32 Gbps GDDR7 memory, making it the fastest GDDR7 specification. This speed increase, combined with its 256-bit memory bus, would push the card's bandwidth from 960 GB/s to 1024 GB/s. Naturally, this bump in memory capacity and performance is expected to come with higher power demands, with the RTX 5080 Super reportedly estimated to draw around 400 W, up from the 360 W of the RTX 5080.

The leaker has not specified a release date for the RTX 5080 Super, nor confirmed the rumours regarding the RTX 5070 Super, which was also reported to contain 18 GB of memory.

Building on that foundation, they've introduced the Wooting 60HE v2, incorporating years of feedback and technological advancements to push the original model to new heights. The new keyboard will be available in Q4 2025.

One upgrade in the 60HE V2 is the updated MCU, enabling the keyboard to poll at up to a blistering 8K Hz. With Tachyon Mode enabled (which turns off RGB), it achieves ‘real 8K polling' with precise analogue key scanning, reducing input latency to 0.125 ms. The keyboard comes pre-assembled with the new linear Lekker Tikken switches (MX stem), the latest addition to the Lekker family. The Borderlands franchise continues to be a sales powerhouse in the looter-shooter genre. According to Take-Two Interactive's latest financial report, the series has sold approximately 93 million copies since its inception in 2009. However, it's far from being its most successful series, with GTA, NBA 2K, and Red Dead Redemption already exceeding 100M since their inception.

Starting with Borderlands, Borderlands 2 remains the series' best-seller, having moved over 30 million units since its 2012 debut. Borderlands 3 is positioned as ‘2K's fastest-selling title', surpassing 22 million units sold since its 2019 release. Beyond the main sequels, spin-offs like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands have expanded the franchise's reach, even if at the same level as Borderlands 2 and 3.

With the next main instalment, Borderlands 4, just a few months away, the series' sales figure will surely increase. The game is expected to propel the franchise above the 100 million sales mark, putting it at the same level as the Red Dead Redemption series. However, the Red Dead Redemption series only has two entries, with Red Dead Redemption alone being able to sell over 74 million units.

The Grand Theft Auto series is still (and should maintain for the foreseeable future) Take-Two's best-selling franchise, with almost 450 million units sold, up from 440 million in the previous quarter. Grand Theft Auto V alone has sold over 215 million units, 5 million more than last quarter. As for the NBA 2K series, it has sold over 160 million units globally, an increase from over 155 million. Lastly, Sid Meier's Civilisation series has sold over 76 million units, up from over 73 million.

MSI is showcasing a new line of AI-powered QD-OLED gaming monitors at Computex 2025. There are two new models: the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 and the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50.

Leveraging Samsung Display's 3rd-generation QD-OLED technology, both monitors are 27-inch displays featuring WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 500Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms GTG response time. These monitors meet the VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications, ensuring industry-leading motion clarity, high contrast, true blacks, and rich colour (around 99% DCI-P3). The MPG 271QR is highlighted as the “world's first” 27-inch 2K QD-OLED at 500Hz, while the MAG 272QP is billed as MSI's first 27-inch 2K QD-OLED esports gaming monitor.

Although both monitors look the same spec-wise, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 has some unique AI features that the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 doesn't. These AI features include the AI Navigator, which provides a simplified menu for easily adjusting and optimising the monitors' AI settings in one location. Moreover, MSI's AI Care Sensor uses real-time human identification and dynamically modifies settings to protect the monitor and increase efficiency. This system, powered by an NPU-based IC and CMOS sensor, detects user presence; when no user is identified, it automatically dims the monitor or engages OLED Care features, extending the monitor's life while saving energy.

Both monitors are covered by the MSI OLED Care program, but while the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 is under version 2.0, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is covered by version 3.0, likely due to the OLED-protective AI features that it has. Pricing and availability aren't yet known for the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 (should be cheaper than the MAG 272QP), but these could be unveiled during Computex 2025. As for the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50, this monitor is already available in China and costs about CNY 6000 (£626).

AMD Zen 5-based CPUs and APUs are still coming out, but details about their next generation of chips are already starting to surface. According to a recent report, potential configurations for AMD's Zen 6-based APUs, codenamed “Medusa Point”, have appeared.

The “Medusa Point 1”, as HXL refers to it, reportedly has a quite different core configuration. The Ryzen 5 and 7 chips will supposedly pack up to 10 CPU cores in a hybrid structure: four classic high-performance cores, four ‘dense' cores, and two low-power cores. Moreover, the leak suggests eight RDNA 3.5+ CUs for integrated graphics, a new RDNA graphics architecture built upon the RDNA 3.5 that we've already seen in action.

The leaks also include rumours about how AMD might scale up for higher-end Ryzen 9 APUs based on this architecture. Speculation suggests AMD could add more cores via an extra CCD, adding 12 classic cores to the base configuration for a total of up to 22 CPU cores, while the integrated graphics are expected to remain at 8 CUs.

This modular approach is not new to AMD, as seen in previous designs like the Strix Halo platform. Interestingly, the rumoured 8 CUs in Medusa Point are a considerable decrease compared to the 16 CUs of Strix Point, suggesting that Medusa Point might not be a direct successor to Strix Point but an entirely new series. On the other hand, we don't know the enhancements that RDNA 3.5+ brings, which might compensate for the reduced CU count.

MSI is showcasing a vast array of cutting-edge PC hardware at Computex 2025 in Taipei, emphasising the integration of artificial intelligence across its product portfolio. The showcase covers AI-powered laptops, desktops, gaming handhelds, storage solutions, networking gear, and wireless peripherals.

Among the numerous products on display are several award-winning and uniquely designed laptops. The Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition won a Best Choice Award for combining traditional Japanese lacquer art (featuring Hokusai's ‘Great Wave') and modern AI tech. The laptop features Katsushika Hokusai's iconic Ukiyo-e woodblock print, “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”, bridging tradition and innovation.

The Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition also received a Best Choice Golden Award for Gaming/Entertainment, showcasing a striking Norse mythology-inspired design with advanced metal etching and supporting up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The system has distinctive things such as a 3D Dragon keychain, a mouse, and a mouse pad. MSI continues collaborations with Mercedes-AMG, introducing new Stealth A16 AI+ (AMD CPU/RTX 50 GPU) and Prestige 16 AI+ (Intel CPU/4K OLED) models featuring distinctive co-branded designs and accessories.

Their Claw 8 AI+ portable gaming handheld also earned a Best Choice Award for Portable Gaming, with an updated Polar Tempest Edition featuring an Intel Lunar Lake CPU and 2 TB SSD on display. Another full system, which received A Best Choice Award, is the MEG Vision X AI desktop, featuring an AI HMI touchscreen interface, Silent Storm Cooling AI, and packing up to an RTX 5090 GPU, PCIe 5.0 SSDs, and a Core Ultra 9 CPU.

Moving on to more compact systems, we have the Cubi NUC AI and AI+ PCs (0.51L PC), which feature Intel Core Ultra CPUs with AI Boost NPUs and Copilot+ support. The AI+ adds features like fingerprint ID and Thunderbolt 4, plus a unique Power Meter. The Pro DP80 is another compact system from MSI. It's an 8L compact PC that targets SMBs with AI capabilities and enterprise security features, and offers a flexible I/O.

In the motherboard segment, MSI is showcasing the MEG X870E Godlike as part of its high-end DIY PC segment. They also launched new AMD ITX motherboards, the MPG X870I Edge TI WIFI and MPG B850I Edge TI WIFI, featuring silver-white designs, premium cooling, PCIe Gen 5, Wi-Fi 7 (320 MHz), and 5G LAN, with the X870I specifically highlighting expandability via an Xpander Card. For Intel Core Ultra 200 chips, there's the MPG B860I Edge TI WIFI, which has the same silver-white look, an 8-phase power architecture, a Lightning Gen 5 PCIe slot, two M.2 interfaces, and Wi-Fi 7 (320 MHz) support.

For storage, the Vortiq portfolio (U.2, E3.S, E1.S, and SATA 2.5″ formats) targets AI/data centres with capacities up to 61 TB and up to 14.8 GB/s read speeds. At Computex, MSI will also showcase the new Spatium M571, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSD built with a Phison E28 controller, and the Datamag portable SSD (up to 40 Gbps) with new Apple software aimed at boosting workflow productivity.

In the network department, we have the Roamii BE Pro Mesh System, which brings high-speed Wi-Fi (up to 11 Gbps) with MLO, 320 MHz channels, and 4 K-QAM modulation. Setup is relatively easy thanks to the MSI Route 2.0 App, and with smart features like Find Wi-Fi Spot for optimal placement, connecting to it will be equally simple. Lastly, upcoming wireless lightweight gaming peripherals include the Versa 500 and 300 Wireless 8K mice, with the Versa 500 featuring a magnetic scroll wheel with Hall-effect tech. The Pro line promises flagship wireless gear like the Versa Pro mouse (multiple programmable buttons) and the Strike Pro keyboard (quiet build, custom keys), which are planned for release this month.

Prepare your PCs, as Shift Up has finally released the official system requirements and key features for Stellar Blade's upcoming launch on the platform. The developers have confirmed that the game will utilise Denuvo's anti-tamper technology and is set to arrive on PC on June 11th.

Built on Unreal Engine 4, Stellar Blade's PC version will support modern upscaling and frame generation technologies. At launch, it will feature Nvidia DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, alongside AMD FSR 3.0 support (though there's currently no information on Intel XeSS). The game will offer uncapped framerates, support ultra-wide displays, and include Japanese and Chinese voice packs in addition to the English one.

Looking at the system requirements, Shift Up has provided targets for 60 FPS gameplay. For the minimum experience, targeting 1080p resolution at low settings, players will need at least an Intel Core i5-7600k or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU paired with 16 GB of RAM. According to the developer, the bare minimum GPU is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580, and the game will require 75GB of storage space.

Moving up to the recommended specifications, targeting 1440p resolution at medium settings and 60 FPS, the CPU recommendation increases to an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, keeping the 16 GB RAM requirement. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Stellar Blade is coming to PC on June 11th.

Following the cancellation of the original PC version of Blue Protocol, the game appears to be getting a second chance in North America, Europe, and Latin America. The mobile version, previously known as Star Resonance, has reportedly been adapted into a full-scale PC MMO and will release under the name Blue Protocol Star Resonance.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance is being created by Bokura, a Tencent-owned studio, in collaboration with Bandai Namco. A Plus Japan will handle the Western release, which is primarily geared towards English-speaking audiences in North America, Europe, and Latin America.

The game aims to build upon the franchise's signature anime aesthetic, offering players a vibrant, action-packed MMORPG experience. It's expected to feature the dynamic combat system, open environment, character customisation, and multiplayer social experiences like guilds that players have anticipated from the franchise. Specific details are limited for now, with no release date announced beyond 2025.

The system requirements have already been shared, and it seems the game will be relatively easy to run. Across both minimum and recommended tiers, players will need Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB of RAM, and 35 GB of storage space. For the minimum experience, the developers list an Intel i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or an AMD Radeon RX 580. Today Fractal Design is expanding its portfolio with numerous new products, including the Meshify 3 case, new Momentum series fans and the new Adjust Pro Hub. 

The Meshify 3 case focuses on performance and airflow with its signature rockface-inspired mesh front. The Meshify 3 comes with three Momentum 140mm fans included and supports extensive cooling, including up to a 280mm top radiator and a 360mm front radiator, with room for graphics cards up to 349mm. For builders needing even more space, the Meshify 3 XL boasts a larger interior, accommodating up to a 420mm top radiator and 360mm front and side radiators, plus room for graphics cards up to 512mm long and broad compatibility with high-end components.

Alongside the cases comes the new Momentum fan, designed for high performance, noise reduction, and efficiency. These fans use sweeping Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) blades, vibration-reducing rubber bushings, and fluid dynamic bearings for quieter operation. ARGB versions of Momentum 14 fans (140mm) are available and featured in the Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB and standard RGB variants. The standard Meshify 3 has non-RGB Momentum fans, which can be acquired separately.

Connecting and controlling compatible components within the case is the Adjust Pro hub. This hub is configured via the Adjust Pro software, a web-based configurator tool with no software download or installation needed. It allows users to personalise the lighting of their ARGB Gen 2 components, such as Momentum RGB fans and case lighting, and define speed curves for Momentum and other PWM fans. The Adjust Pro Hub acts as the central connection point and stores lighting and fan speed parameters locally, enabling detailed customisation without processor-intensive background software.

All these products are now available with the Meshify 3 cases starting at £129.98 for the non-RGB versions, £149.98 for the RGB version, and £204.98 for the Ambience Pro RGB version. The Meshify 3 XL cases are slightly more expensive, as the standard model costs £159.98, the RGB model costs £174.98, and the Ambience Pro RGB costs £234.98. As for the Momentum fans, the single Momentum 12 costs £20.99, the RGB model costs £25.99, and the 3-fan pack (RGB) costs £67.99. A single Momentum 14 non-RGB goes for £23.99, the RGB model for £28.99, and the 3-fan pack for £76.99. Lastly, the Adjust Pro hub costs £41.99.

Just ahead of what's expected to be a busy Computex for mid-range GPU announcements from competitors, Intel's official Arc social media accounts have been dropping hints about a more powerful graphics card. In response to fans asking for a beefier GPU following an Arc Pro announcement, Intel's X account replied with phrases like “stay tuned,” “we're just getting started,” and “more to come” over the last week. This is widely interpreted as hinting at the long-rumored Arc ‘Battlemage' B770.

The timing for these teasers (via VideoCardz) appears deliberate, as Nvidia prepares to debut the RTX 5060 and AMD is set to introduce the RX 9060 XT next week. This suggests that Intel may be planning its own mid-range rival.

Based on previous reports, the Arc B770 is rumoured to feature between 24 and 32 Xe2 CUs, paired with a 256-bit memory bus and up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory. These specs would position the B770 as a direct competitor to Nvidia's RTX 5060 and AMD's RX 9060 XT in the mid-range gaming segment.

While it's not confirmed whether Intel plans to announce the Arc B770 at Computex next week or hold a separate solo livestream event later, the social media interactions have sparked interest among enthusiasts.

Ubisoft's latest earnings call has revealed changes in its release roadmap, with the publisher revealing several major projects have been postponed. These delays are intended to give the titles more development time to improve quality, following lessons learned from Assassin's Creed Shadows' delay. 

CEO Yves Guillemot (via Eurogamer) stated these impacted titles come from five of Ubisoft's top brands: Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rainbow Six, The Division, and Ghost Recon. Despite these postponements, Ubisoft did list the games still slated for release within the current fiscal year. This pipeline includes Anno 117: Pax Romana, the long-awaited Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division spin-off Resurgence, and other titles yet to be unveiled. Additionally, planned content includes Assassin's Creed Shadows' first major expansion later this year and the ‘X' upgrade for Rainbow Six Siege in June.

For the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2025, Ubisoft reported revenue of €1.85 billion, slightly below their objective, attributed to “lower-than-expected partnerships due to timing impacts”. Assassin's Creed Shadows was their biggest release, but a new sales/players number wasn't provided (the latest known figure was 3 million players in its first week). Its financial performance was said to “reaffirm the strength and resilience” of the brand, with Shadows achieving the series' second-highest first-day sales revenue (after Valhalla) and reaching 160 million total playable hours across all users. Ubisoft also noted annual unique player counts for their top brands, with Assassin's Creed and Rainbow Six seeing around 30 million each for the fourth consecutive year, while Far Cry had around 20 million players.

In efforts to reduce expenses, Ubisoft stated it successfully cut fixed costs by €200 million, with plans to cut a further €100 million over the next two years. Their headcount is now 17,782 individuals, a reduction of around 3000 since September 2022 via layoffs and reduced recruiting.

More details are expected later this year regarding Ubisoft's plan to build a new subsidiary with Tencent that will encompass their three largest franchises: Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry. This new division will focus on improving narrative-driven solo experiences, expanding live service offerings with a better multiplayer component and more frequent content updates, and targeting underpenetrated markets like mobile and China.

Asus has expanded its ROG Strix gaming monitor line-up with two new OLED models, the XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG. While QD-OLED monitors have dominated the market over the last couple of years, these ones are the first in the world to offer 4K WOLED panels with TrueBlack Glossy film.

This anti-reflective panel coating, designed specifically for ROG, aims to drastically reduce ambient reflections by 38% compared to previous glossy WOLED panels. This helps preserve true blacks even under bright lights and potentially reduces eye fatigue. Asus's Clear Pixel Edge technology is also included to help eliminate colour fringing on text and fine lines.

Another interesting feature of these monitors is the one-tap Dual mode. This allows gamers to quickly switch between the native 4K (UHD) resolution and a lower FHD (1080p) resolution, unlocking refresh rates of up to 480 Hz for the XG32UCWMG and 330 Hz for the XG32UCWG in FHD mode. Thanks to it, it eliminates the need to choose between visual quality and competitive speed. Built on 4K WOLED panels, these displays offer OLED's signature near-instantaneous response time (up to 1 ms GtG) and excellent motion clarity, supported by technologies like Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0. The monitors also include DisplayHDR 400 certification and wide colour coverage, hitting around 125% of sRGB and 96% of DCI-P3.

Beyond performance, Asus has packed in advanced features for panel longevity and user convenience. An updated OLED Care Pro suite includes pixel refreshes, picture shifting, and logo brightness limiting to mitigate burn-in risk. Then there's the Neo Proximity sensor, which detects user presence, automatically muting the screen when you step away to preserve the panel and instantly waking it upon your return (with adjustable distance). For added peace of mind, a three-year burn-in guarantee is included with each display.

The monitors feature a new ultra-compact stand, designed for space-saving with a 60% lower footprint than previous ROG 32-inch OLED stands. Despite being more compact, it offers the same full ergonomic adjustments, including tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. Built-in Auto KVM allows seamless switching between two connected PCs using a single keyboard and mouse, and the DisplayWidget Centre program further simplifies settings, KVM control, and firmware updates from the desktop.
