Thermaltake launches Toughpower Premium Edition power supply
Thermaltake is releasing the Toughpower TF3 1300W, a high-performance power supply unit designed to fuel the most demanding gaming rigs and workstations. This 80 Plus Titanium-certified PSU is built to meet the stringent demands of modern hardware, offering exceptional efficiency, stability, and compatibility with the latest components.
The Toughpower TF3 1300W complies with the ATX 3.1 specification, supporting 200% total power excursion and 300% GPU power excursion for enhanced stability during demanding workloads. It also boasts two native 12VHPWR (12V-2×6) connectors, delivering up to 600W of power to next-generation PCIe 5.1 graphics cards. To prevent installation errors, the 12VHPWR cable features a distinctive dual-colour design (matcha green and black), ensuring proper connection to the graphics card.
For overclocking enthusiasts, the Toughpower TF3 1300W includes an OCM (Overclocking Mode) switch, which is basically a single-rail mode. In its default Multi-Rail mode, the PSU provides Over Current Protection for enhanced safety. Thermaltake has equipped the Toughpower TF3 1300W with a custom cooling fan that efficiently prevents overheating, even under heavy loads. The PSU also boasts 80 Plus Titanium certification, achieving up to 94% efficiency.
Built with high-quality Japanese 105°C capacitors, the Toughpower TF3 1300W ensures exceptional durability and reliability. Its low ripple noise design, tight voltage regulation (±2%), and extended hold-up time (≥17ms) further contribute to its stability and performance. Moreover, it comes with a 10-year warranty for added peace of mind. The Thermaltake Toughpower TF3 1300W is coming out priced at $259.99/€264.90.
KitGuru says: If you were to buy a high-wattage PSU, would it have to be Titanium-certified, or would you be happy with a lower-efficiency model?
