This week’s Calgary mayoral election turned into a real nail-biter. Independent candidate Jeromy Farkas won with 91,071 votes, or 26.1 per cent, finishing slightly ahead of Communities First candidate Sonya Sharp with 90,488 votes and 26 per cent.
