If you've been waiting for the ultimate workstation CPU and have deep pockets, we have good news. AMD's monstrous 96-core, 192-thread Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9995WX has been spotted on Geekbench 6, and as expected, the scores are very high.

While AMD has kept the official launch date under wraps since its reveal at Computex, the arrival of retail listings and the first leaked benchmarks (via Benchleaks) suggest a release is imminent. The chip scored approximately 2,800 points in the single-core test and a jaw-dropping 30,170 in the multi-core test. While the single-core performance shows a negligible improvement over the 7995WX, the multi-core score tells another story. The multi-core results show an impressive generational uplift of around 22%.

Built on TSMC's 4nm process, the 9995WX is the crown jewel of the new Threadripper Pro 9000 series. Its 96 Zen 5 cores run at a 2.5GHz base clock but can boost up to 5.4GHz. This is complemented by a colossal 384MB of L3 cache.

Designed for the sTR5 socket and WRX90 motherboards, the 9995WX handles up to 2TB of 8-channel DDR5-6400 ECC memory and provides a staggering 128 lanes of PCIe 5.0 connectivity. This makes it an ideal engine for high-end workstations tackling content creation, complex simulations, and heavy AI development. The chip maintains a 350W TDP, in line with its predecessor.

Thermaltake first announced its Tower 600 PC case at Gamescom last year. We've been impressed by this case already and have featured it in builds on our YouTube channel. Now, The Tower 600 is getting a flavourful makeover, with three new colour options hitting the market.

While most case manufacturers offer the basic black and white colour options, Thermaltake has prided itself on expanding the colour palette. with a ton of shade options to choose from. The Tower 600 is the latest to get new colourways, including Mint Strawberry, Butter Caramel and Mocha Mousse, blending warm tones with bright pastel colours.

Colours aside, The Tower 600 is a very unique PC case thanks to its vertical layout and octagonal prism shape. Despite its compact size, the case supports big cooling, including up to 420mm radiators for liquid cooling, and as many as 13 case fans. The case also supports both normal ATX motherboards and the latest hidden-connector motherboard designs like Asus BTF, MSI Project Zero and Gigabyte's Project Stealth boards. For extra personalisation, the optional 3.9″ LCD Screen Kit lets users display system stats, time, weather, or custom images and GIFs.

The Thermaltake Tower 600 case is available now in a variety of colour options, priced at around £150.

G.Skill has released some of the best memory kits of the DDR5 generation and they are showing no signs of slowing down. This week, G.Skill is debuting its new high-performance 64GB DDR5 modules, delivering speeds of up to 6400MT/s and up to 256GB capacity.

There are two new G.Skill overclocked DDR5 memory kits hitting the market. The first has specifications of DDR5-6000 CL32 256GB (64GBx4) and DDR5-6400 CL36 128GB (64GBx2) memory kits. Designed for high-performance computing, content creation, AI applications, and professional workstations, these new kit specifications combine ultra-low latency with massive memory capacity based on 64GB modules.

The 256GB CL32 DDR5-6000 kit features an AMD EXPO OC profile, so those using a modern AM5-based PC will have no issues getting the memory running at its full potential. After a brief preview earlier in the year, Fractal Design is now ready to launch its latest case. The Fractal Epoch is launching today, combining the company's signature minimalist aesthetic with modern airflow engineering. 

The Fractal Epoch features a mesh front and three powerful Momentum fans. The Momentum 12 fans stand out with their LCP blades and true FDB bearings for improved cooling and quieter operation. To help aid in cooling, the Epoch has ventilated top and front panels.

The Epoch is made with gaming PCs in mind. The chassis supports graphics cards up to 372mm long with front-mounted fans, or 345mm with a front-mounted radiator. Speaking of radiators, the case has room for a 240mm AIO cooler in the roof, or a 360mm radiator in the front of the case. If air-cooling is more to your liking, then you'll be pleased to know that the case can house CPU coolers up to 170mm tall.

For PC gamers, and especially Steam Deck owners, tweaking is part of the fun. We're all familiar with the endless quest to squeeze every last frame out of our hardware. On Windows, one of the most popular tools in a tweaker's arsenal has been Lossless Scaling, an application that can inject frame generation into almost any game to boost performance. It's a fantastic bit of software, but with one major catch: it's Windows-exclusive. However, it seems that bit is about to change.

As reported by GamingOnLinux (via SteamDeckHQ), thanks to the impressive work of a developer known as PancakeTAS, Lossless Scaling is coming to Linux, even if not in its entirety. As part of the new project called “lsfg-vk”, Lossless Scaling's Frame Generation is being ported to Linux and, by extension, to the Steam Deck.

PancakeTAS has chronicled the gruelling process of getting the feature up and running, which involves using the well-known DXVK translation layer to intercept the DirectX 11 processes of Lossless Scaling and convert them to the Vulkan API that Linux supports. It's a clever workaround for a long-standing problem.

For those adventurous enough to try it now, the developer has provided instructions on the project's GitHub page. Be warned that it's not a simple one-click install just yet, as it requires running a few commands to install the necessary components and also requires you to own Lossless Scaling on Steam. Once the setup is complete, enabling it is as simple as adding “ENABLE_LSFG=1 %command%” to a game's launch options.

While the potential here is huge, there are some caveats. Frame generation is most effective in GPU-bound scenarios; it can't do much for games that are bottlenecked by the CPU, which is often the case for struggling titles on the Steam Deck. Furthermore, the lsfg-vk project is in its very early days, so you should expect bugs and potential issues as development continues.

While the dust is still settling from the launch of Zen 5, it seems the software world is already bracing for what comes next. In a move that gives hardware enthusiasts a glimpse into the future, the latest AIDA64 update has added preliminary support for AMD's Zen 6 architecture and unreleased Radeon GPUs.

Note that this is the earliest of early support. We are talking about basic hardware identifiers being added to a database so the software doesn't crash when it eventually encounters these parts, so don't expect these new products to arrive tomorrow. In fact, we likely won't see this silicon on shelves until late 2026. Still, these software breadcrumbs are the first official hints of the components we'll be debating for the next couple of years.

The update explicitly lists initial support for Zen 6-based CPUs across server, desktop, and mobile platforms. This architecture is, of course, poised to be the eventual successor to the Zen 5 family that currently populates AMD's product stack. Early whispers point to the AM5 desktop variant of Zen 6 being codenamed “Olympic Ridge”, with some speculating it could usher in the most significant architectural shift since the move to AM4, potentially by increasing the number of cores per CCD.

On the graphics front, the AIDA64 update also threw in some intriguing new entries. For AMD, the update adds the Radeon RX 9060 XT and the professional-grade Radeon PRO R9700. Perhaps most curiously, however, is the listing for a Radeon RX 9060 (non-XT). While this could point to a mobile GPU, AIDA64's listing hints that they expect a non-XT desktop card for this SKU. KitGuru says: Although we're still at least a year away from seeing the first Zen 6 processors, the Radeon RX 9060 shouldn't take long to arrive.

Stalker 2 has been a success so far, but it is time to expand. After releasing as an Xbox console exclusive, GSC Game World is now bringing Stalker 2 to PS5, opening the game up to millions of new gamers. Better yet, many of the bugs that were present at launch have been squashed, to PS5 players will be getting a much better day-one experience. 

While Stalker 2 launched in a rough state, fans were quick to forgive GSC Game World due to the circumstances surrounding the game's development. GSC Game World was based in Ukraine, but when Russia invaded the country in 2022, the studio was forced to relocate. A Russia-linked cyberattack on the studio also led to further delays of the game's launch.

Since launch, GSC Game World has shipped a number of major patches for Stalker 2, the biggest of which arrived last month and makes major changes to the game's flagship A-LIFE simulation technology.

Now with A-LIFE 2.0 now rolled out, GSC Game World can carve out some time to bring Stalker 2 to more platforms. The game launched last year as an Xbox console exclusive. Now, the game will debut on PS5 for the first time ‘later this year'. The lack of firm release date information leaves the door open for a delay.

The announcement follows the recent multi-platform release of the original Stalker games on consoles and PC.

While we expected Bethesda Game Studios to grow into a multi-project studio after being acquired by Microsoft, for now, the flagship studio behind Fallout and The Elder Scrolls is remaining as-is. As a result of this, we're unlikely to see Fallout 5 until the 2030s, but it seems that spin-offs are in development to help tide fans over. 

The next mainline Fallout game is not yet in development and won't enter production until after The Elder Scrolls 6 comes out. However, that doesn't mean we won't get other Fallout games in the meantime. In a recent appearance on the Friends per Second podcast, VGC reporter, Jordan Middler, explained that while Fallout 5 is not yet in development there are “multiple Fallout projects in development, including, as far as I'm aware, that one you're all wanting”.

That ‘one you're all wanting' is likely to be a New Vegas game. There were rumours in the year or so after Microsoft acquired Bethesda that New Vegas 2 was greenlit, but no other details have come to light so far. We've also been hearing rumours about a Fallout 3 remaster for years. Now that Oblivion Remastered has been a success, perhaps we'll see a similar makeover for Bethesda's first Fallout game.

As far as Fallout 5 goes, BGS director, Todd Howard, has previously confirmed that there is a ‘one sheet' detailing ideas for the game, but nothing further beyond that.

KitGuru Says: Now that the Fallout Prime series has been a huge success, there is even more pressure to get a new Fallout game out of the door. Season 2 is set to air later this year and will take us to New Vegas, perhaps we'll get a new game teaser around that same time. 

The long awaited announcement of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Remake is nearing. Following on from recent comments from a main cast voice actor, fans have begun spotting mysterious changes to the Black Flag Steam page, indicating that a major update is in the works. 

As spotted by The Hidden One, the Steam Store page for Assassin's Creed Black Flag has had a number of updates recently, listing features that were not present in the original game. That list includes things like mouse-only gameplay, adjustable difficulty, manual save functionality and more.

It is speculated that these are features implemented in the remake. These appearing in the back-end for the original game's Steam page makes sense, as the original game listing is likely to be replaced with the remake once it is ready. Ubisoft has done this before with Assassin's Creed 2, with the classic game no longer available to be purchased and replaced by the remaster on all storefronts.

This news follows a recent tease from Matt Ryan, the voice of Edward Kenway, the main protagonist for Assassin's Creed Black Flag. At the rate things are going, we are expecting to see Ubisoft announce the remake before the end of the summer.

KitGuru Says: Like many others, Black Flag was my personal favourite of the classic Assassin's Creed games. Hopefully the remake holds up, Ubisoft can't really afford to erode consumer trust any further. 

Ever since it was officially announced back in September of last year, fans have been eagerly awaiting for a full deep-dive into the upcoming Ghost of Yōtei. Following its brief presence at June’s showcase, the previously-promised dedicated Ghost of Yōtei State of Play presentation has now been announced and dated.

Taking to the PlayStation Blog to make the announcement, Sucker Punch Productions wrote: “We are less than 100 days away from the launch of Ghost of Yōtei on PS5 on October 2! This week, we can’t wait to give you your best look yet at what to expect with a State of Play gameplay deep dive streaming on July 10.”

Said to feature “nearly 20 minutes of Ghost of Yōtei gameplay hosted by Sucker Punch’s Creative Directors, Jason Connell and Nate Fox” the 10PM presentation will include a look at protagonist Atsu’s new weapons; personalisation options; “new special modes, and much more.”

As mentioned, while Sony has shown off Ghost of Yōtei a couple times now, we’ve yet to see any uninterrupted gameplay.

Given the fact that Ghost of Tsushima released back in 2020 and remains celebrated to this day, it will be highly interesting to see how the team at Sucker Punch Productions have improved upon all of Ghost of Tsushima’s many great elements.

Dead by Daylight is no stranger to crossovers, with the massively popular asymmetrical multiplayer horror title having collaborated with all sorts of franchises, from horror classics to popular anime and games. In a collab which has been a long time coming, Dead by Daylight x The Walking Dead has now been officially announced.

Following on from the likes of Castlevania; Stranger Things; Resident Evil; Silent Hill; Alien; Alan Wake; Lara Croft; Attack on Titan and even the actor Nicolas Cage, Dead by Daylight is officially crossing over with the highly popular graphic novel / TV series The Walking Dead.

Set to go live on the 29th of July, Dead by Daylight x The Walking Dead will introduce series protagonists Rick Grimes and Michonne – of course as survivors.

Said to be one of the “most requested” horror crossovers from fans, both Rick Grimes and Michonne bring with them 3 unique perks each for further gameplay and strategic diversity.

For those who can’t wait, the Dead by Daylight x Walking Dead crossover can be accessed right now via the game’s Player Test Build; however the team notes that Michonne is currently not playable – though her perks are usable. Tokyo Game Show is a staple of the industry, with primarily Japanese developers taking to the event to reveal new games, offer updates on titles and more. Ahead of this year’s event (taking place in September), the full line-up of hundreds of developers and publishers has now been revealed.

Set to go live between the 25th and 28th of September, 2025’s Tokyo Game Show will once again feature hundreds of developers and publishers. Of course, the scope of each team’s involvement differs, with many simply being present across different booths.

That said, pretty much all the heavy-hitters (Nintendo aside) are set to take part in some form or another at TGS this year, including but not limited to:

• Capcom
• EA
• Koei Tecmo
• Konami
• Microsoft
• Ubisoft

Since its launch back in 2020, Naughty Dog have sporadically updated The Last of Us Part II in the form of a PS5 remaster; a PC release – and a couple bonus free post-launch updates. In a surprising addition, The Last of Us Part II has gotten a new mode which allows players to experience the story in a whole new way: chronologically.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog have unveiled and released patch 2.1.0 for PS5 (and update 1.5 for PC), writing: “Available for players as part of a downloadable update today, we’ve introduced a new way to play the story of The Last of Us Part II like never before – chronologically.”

For the uninitiated, The Last of Us Part II is told in a somewhat non-linear manner, with the game’s dual protagonists switching back and forth in both time and space depending on the chapter.

While this was of course the intended way to experience TLOU Part II’s story, Naughty Dog notes that “we always wondered what it would be like to experience this story chronologically. And now finally, we can answer that question,” adding “Through the new Chronological mode, we believe players will gain even deeper insight into Part II’s narrative.”

Beyond the new mode, the update brings with it a couple other small additions, namely a new skin for Joel and Tommy in the style of Nathan and Sam Drake from Uncharted respectively, as well as some trophies for completing a playthrough using the chronological mode.

While the structure of The Last of Us Part II was highly intentional, it will be interesting to see how the story is perceived when played in this manner.

Intel isn't quite done with the Arrow Lake platform, even though it has released 22 SKUs since its debut. An update to the Arrow Lake-S desktop lineup is reportedly planned for release in the second half of 2025. 

The Arrow Lake Refresh has been mentioned a few times in the past, but ZDNet Korea (via Tom's Hardware) has now expanded on it with some extra details. Importantly, this refresh will still use chipsets from the 800-series and keeps the LGA 1851 socket. This guarantees that existing motherboards will continue to be compatible.

The anticipated NPU4 is the biggest improvement coming with the Arrow Lake-S update. Like last year's Lunar Lake mobile chips, this next-generation NPU should offer 48 TOPS of performance, meeting Microsoft's Copilot+ AI PC requirements (+40 TOPS). Considering the current NPU used on Arrow Lake chips only delivers about 13 TOPS, that's a significant bump.

Intel's branding strategy for this update is still unclear; it may stay under the Core Ultra 200 series umbrella or move into a different tier. As the company gets ready for the more architecturally significant Nova Lake, which is still reportedly set for a 2026 release on the Intel 18A node, this move is probably a calculated attempt to prolong Arrow Lake's market lifespan.

KitGuru says: Nothing is official yet, but it sounds like we'll be getting some slightly faster Arrow Lake CPUs later in the year. 

One of the more surprising casualties from last week's Xbox layoffs was Romero Games. Founded by DOOM creator, John Romero, the studio was not owned by Microsoft, but its new game was being funded by them and when that funding was pulled, a number of employees made the claim that the entire studio had closed down. As it turns out, Romero Games is still ‘open', but it needs to find a new publisher to continue work on its game. 

While Romero Games has not named Microsoft or Xbox in any of its official statements, the company did confirm last week that it had lost publisher funding for the new First-Person Shooter it was developing. After reports that the studio was closing, Romero Games issued a correction, saying the studio is not closed, at least not just yet.

“We want to address recent reports regarding the status of Romero Games. These reports have contained inaccuracies, and we feel it's important to set the record straight. Romero Games is not closed, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that it does not come to that. Any suggestion otherwise is factually incorrect. Indeed, we were in the studio today to discuss next steps with the team.”

While the company remains ‘in business', the lack of publisher for its new game means that the Romeros need to “reassess the entire staffing”. The studio also makes the claim that several publishers have been in touch to express interest in saving the project. However, there has been no pen to paper yet, so the situation is still evolving.

Last week, Amazon announced the next round of free games for Prime Gaming. Now, with the annual Prime week sale kicking off, Amazon has announced a few bonus games that are free to claim for a limited time. 

Amazon Prime subscribers can currently claim free copies of Boxes: Lost Fragments (Epic Games Store) and Paquerette Down the Bunburrows (Epic Games Store). On July 17th, two more games will be available to claim – Endless Space 2: Definitive Edition and Beseige: The Splintered Sea.

On July 24th, you can claim a GOG code for Venba, and you can get a free copy of I Love Finding Wild Friends Collector's Edition. The final game of the month arrives on July 31st – Heroes of Loot (GOG).

Those were all of the games announced last week but what about the surprise bonus games? Well Amazon has now added free copies of Football Manager 2024 (Epic Games Store), Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Epic Games Store), Marvel's Midnight Suns (Epic Games Store) and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 (GOG).

All of these games will be available to claim for free until the end of July, just as long as you are an Amazon Prime subscriber. The only exception to this is Football Manager 2024, which is only available to claim until July 11th.

Solo Levelling: Karma, a new action RPG for PC and mobile platforms based on the hugely popular Korean webcomic and anime series, was unveiled by developer Netmarble. Similar to Netmarble's Solo Levelling: Arise (Overdrive), Karma looks to be a fast-paced, isometric dungeon crawler that is reminiscent of Hades.

Its anime adaptation has an average rating of 4.9/5 from over 826,000 user reviews on Crunchyroll, surpassing even critically acclaimed hits like One Piece and Demon Slayer. Solo Levelling: Karma is the most recent adaptation, and although its sleek, fashionable combat appears ready to compete for a place among the top action games, its most alluring hook is the opening line within the trailer. The trailer opens with, “As all battles come to a close, Sung Jinwoo's endless war begins anew”. Without giving away too much, this phrase is believed to refer to Solo Leveling's “Monarch War” arc, where there's a 27-year time skip.

Fans have mixed opinions over the ending of Solo Levelling, but this game presents an exciting opportunity to tell stories from that massive 27-year gap in the main narrative.

As of right now, Netmarble has not specified a specific release date for this title, only that it is “coming soon”. The game will be available on PC and mobile devices through Google Play and the App Store.

Monster Hunter Wilds has been one of the biggest disappointments of 2025, in large part due to the game running poorly on both PC and consoles like the PS5. In fact, the performance issues are so prolific that shareholders are asking executives about it at meetings. With that in mind, I was quite shocked to hear this week that Capcom had been planning a conference talk this week titled “Monster Hunter Wilds runs smoothly! Everything you need to know about optimisation”. 

As reported by Automaton and VGC, Japan's largest game developer conference, CEDEC, is due to take place this week. Capcom developers had planned to host a talk at this conference, one titled “Monster Hunter Wilds runs smoothly! Everything you need to know about optimisation”.

It is honestly quite baffling to see that headline and it makes me very curious to see what was going to be said at this talk. However, we won't get that opportunity, as Capcom cancelled their conference talk.

Capcom says that it has had instances of “slander, libel, denigration, intimidation and threats to harm or disrupt business” in recent weeks, as backlash over the lack of game improvements continues on social media. This is all going on amid Monster Hunter Wilds dropping to an Overwhelmingly Negative user score on Steam.

To expedite the development of the top-down action-RPG, Vaultbreakers, Square Enix has made an undisclosed “major investment” in BetaDwarf, a Danish game development company. Square Enix will acquire a minority stake in BetaDwarf as part of this agreement.

For BetaDwarf, the studio behind games like Forced and Minion Masters, this investment is regarded as a significant step. A visit to BetaDwarf's studio led to the decision to invest, according to Hideaki Uehara, General Manager of Business Development at Square Enix Holdings. BetaDwarf CEO and Game Director Steffen Kabbelgaard was excited about the collaboration, saying that Square Enix's involvement offers “amazing access to a combination of knowledge, talent, and resources”.

Additionally, Kabbelgaard stated that Vaultbreakers' development is already well advanced. With a “huge amazing community” and “15+ tests with more than 50,000 players”, the game has been continuously improved throughout production. In particular, the new funding will help BetaDwarf expand its community-driven development strategy and improve its production capabilities. The PvE mode and solo queue are results of that strategy. BetaDwarf recently released the first gameplay trailer for Vaultbreakers, and a week-long public playtest is being held from July 3rd to the 9th.

Copenhagen-based BetaDwarf had previously raised $6.6 million in 2019 to create social gaming experiences that promote friendships. Minion Masters, the company's most recent game, has amassed “millions of players”, and Forced, their 2013 debut game, has sold more than 500,000 copies.

This week, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is multiplying performance in Mortal Online 2 and RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Additionally, Brickadia will enter Early Access on July 11th with day-one support for DLSS 4.

Runescape: Dragonwilds launched with day-one support for DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, Nvidia Reflex and DLAA. Now, a new update brings DLSS 4 to the game with Multi-Frame Generation, so RTX 50 graphics card users can obtain an even bigger performance boost.

Mortal Online 2 is getting its first major expansion this month, titled ‘Reckoning' and one of the big tech upgrades coming with this update is the inclusion of DLSS 4. After the update, the game will support DLSS Frame Generation, Super Resolution and Reflex.

The final game on this week's list of new DLSS titles is Brickadia, which enters Early Access on July 11th. The game will release with DLSS 4 in place from day-one, and it features UE5's Lumen ray-traced lighting technology, which RTX graphics cards are adept at handling thanks to hardware RT acceleration.

The key difference between 50000D and 4000D is support for a 420mm liquid cooler in the roof. Push it to the limits and Frame 5000D can accommodate 12x 140mm fans, which sounds mega.

Testing

To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel core Ultra 9 285K, Palit RTX 5080 and an SSD. This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the Corsair Frame 5000D’s cooling capabilities.

You can gauge by eye that the Frame 5000D is likely to flow air well, and of course we have the knowledge that Frame 4000D works well in the cooling department. Added to that we are using the four supplied 140mm case fans and the three 140mm fans on the Corsair iCUE Link Titan 420 RX RGB, so we are working with a total of seven 140mm fans. The result is exactly as expected, which is that the Frame 5000D cools well and can be run with the fans low and slow. Ramping up fan speeds is both noisy and entirely unnecessary.

Closing Thoughts

The easiest way to compare and contrast the Corsair Frame 5000D and the Frame 4000D (review HERE) is to look at every surface where the 4000D supports 2x 140mm fans and you can be confident the 5000D supports 3x 140mm fans. The snag is that while you may assume the 5000D will support a 420mm liquid cooler in the front and side positions  this is not actually the case; 3x 140mm fans – Yes, 420mm cooler – No. You can see the result where we struggle to install a 420mm Corsair AIO in the roof where it is supported in theory but not really in practice.

The solution, in our view, is to ignore 420mm AIO coolers and radiators and to stick to tried and true 280mm and 360mm which work brilliantly well. This might make you wonder why you need a Frame 5000D in the first place and our answer is that you do not. The Frame 4000D will do everything you want and the Frame 5000D is just for lazy people who like the extra space to make life easy when they build their PC.

Amazon Prime Week has arrived. We've had a look through some of the big tech deals on offer this week. Here, we break down some of the best gaming laptop and monitor deals from Acer.

On the monitor front, there is an excellent deal available to those looking to make the jump to a 21:9 ultra-wide display. The Acer Nitro XZ342CU 34-inch Gaming Monitor boasts 3440×1440 resolution, combined with a fast 180Hz refresh rate. On sale, the price is down to £199. Following months of leaks and rumours, the long awaited follow-up to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 was officially announced in the form of THPS 3+4. With the game finally set to launch in just a couple days, early reviews for the title have gone live – revealing what looks to be a solid remake (with some caveats).

Though subject to change as more reviews are published, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 currently sits at an 83 on Metacritic, with an OpenCritic rating of 85 – just slightly behind its predecessor THPS 1+2 (89).

That said, unlike the first three titles, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 in particular shook the formula up a bit upon its original release back in 2002, adding more of a campaign mode when compared to prior entries.

Unfortunately, THPS 3+4 axed said campaign mode, instead replacing it with a challenge system more similar to that of the first 3 games – a change which according to reviews will be “disappointing” to those who enjoyed the 4th Pro Skater’s format.

All in all however, it appears as though Iron Galaxy successfully took over the reins from Vicarious Visions (who worked on THPS 1+2) for this remake.

It will be interesting to see what fans think of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 when it officially launches for everyone on the 11th of July.

LC-Power is debuting some very attractive options for the budget CPU cooler market. The latest DIGI cooler embraces new technologies, such as integrated displays in the heatsink and modern heat distribution methods, while keeping the price tag fairly low. LC-Power also has new black and white air coolers joining the line-up too.

There are a few models in this series, including the DIGI LC-CC-120-DB6, which is the most expensive model, followed by the AERA LC-CC-120-B4 and W4. These two are the same cooler, but one is black and the other is white.

Focusing on the LC-CC-120-DB6 to start. This cooler is equipped with six copper heat popes, paired with aluminium cooling fins and a copper-aluminium base. The 120mm fan has a fluid dynamic bearing to ensure long-lasting and quiet operation, better yet – the fan comes preinstalled, so you won't have to waste any time while setting the cooler up.
