The Ultra XT3D prebuilt desktop from CyberPowerPC features a spec list straight from the top of the AMD gaming lineup. It features a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, paired with 32GB of memory. This could make for a very compelling option for anyone looking to pick up a prebuilt gaming desktop while breaking away from Intel and Nvidia components. Today we put the Ultra XT3D through its paces to see just how much performance it has in its locker!

Gaming performance is impressive at 1440p – particularly in titles such as F1 25 but more so in Cyberpunk 2077 at maximum settings. Performance at 4K is very title-dependant – again using Cyberpunk 2077 as an example, we can see below that the Ultra XT3D struggles to maintain high frame rates when playing this title without any form of scaling or frame generation. Turning these features on however, does dramatically increase performance, while still maintaining a decent level of fidelity when using FSR 3's Quality preset.
A selection of screenshots highlighting gaming performance are below, but for full details of all games tested, check out our full video review on YouTube.

Closing Thoughts
The Ultra XT3D desktop is very well balanced when looking at performance. The pairing of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card deliver impressive performance at 1440p with maximum graphics settings. Performance does expectedly take a substantial hit when increasing the resolution to 4K, but this is easily remedied with the addition of FSR and frame generation. While I appreciate that frame generation does divide opinion, the performance recorded in this review does a good job of highlighting its use case and how it can benefit high resolution gaming, especially in single player titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.
It's clear that the build process of the Ultra XT3D has been carried out with a lot of care and attention to detail – cable management is excellent and pre-delivery configuration was perfect with EXPO being enabled out of the box and all required drivers being installed and mostly up to date.

Visually, the component selection feels just slightly mismatched. Both the memory and case include ARGB lighting, yet they’ve been paired with a non-RGB AIO CPU cooler. Opting for a consistent approach by either fully embracing RGB or going with a clean, blackout aesthetic might have resulted in a more cohesive look. We don't see many stealthy, non-RGB prebuilt systems and this could have been something that stood out in that regard.
Overall though, this is a great system and with a few tweaks could have been one of the best we've seen.

Pros:
- Great gaming performance at 1440p and good for 4K gaming (with FSR and FG in some titles).
- Well balanced spec.
- Excellent quality of build and cable management.
- Very competitive pricing when compared to building the same spec.
- No issues with setup or config out of the box.
Cons:
- Memory, although not terrible, could have slightly tighter CL timings.
- RGB balance is a little off with RGB memory and case but a non-RGB CPU cooler.
KitGuru says: The Ultra XT3D is an excellent prebuilt gaming desktop, which is priced very competitively when compared to building the same spec system.
