Police took one suspect into custody shortly after reported gunfire at Florida State University in Tallahassee
A mass shooting on Thursday on the Florida State University campus sent several people to a nearby hospital, a medical center spokesperson said, with at least one person reported dead.
Reports in the early afternoon said at least six people were hurt and taken to hospital, with further details and confirmation being sought from the authorities.

Aaron Rodgers isn’t in a hurry: not to retire, not to return and not to sign with another team.
The 41-year-old quarterback, released by the New York Jets last month, said Thursday he’s not ready to make a commitment for the upcoming NFL season.
