Tired Of Windows 11's AI Bloat? Use This Tool To Remove It All In Seconds

Tired Of Windows 11's AI Bloat? Use This Tool To Remove It All In Seconds It's no secret that Microsoft's drive to turn Windows 11 into an "agentic" AI-focused OS has been controversial, but being de facto market leader does not mean users won't push back, and a handy GitHub script from Zoicware is doing exactly that. For users who want to fully or partially disable AI features in Windows 11, Zoicware's Remove Windows

Valve: 'We See The Lines Between VR & Non-VR Content Really Being Blurred'

10 décembre 2025 à 18:52

When UploadVR visited Valve headquarters to try Steam Frame, we heard comments echoing the strategies at Google and Apple.

There's an APK for that in Galaxy XR and thousands of iPad apps available day one on Apple Vision Pro. Meanwhile, the verified program for Steam Frame is poised to bring the value of Steam to your face wherever it is. Today, the only constant companion for most VR headsets is a Windows PC, but the time is coming when a Steam Deck, iPhone, iPad or Nintendo Switch may become an even more useful companion in VR.

Valve's trade-offs in Steam Frame's modular design have many prospective buyers fretting over the details. Developers are still reeling from the shift from Quest to Horizon – as Meta shifts strategies yet again – releasing games like Civilization VII and Vampire Survivors in VR along the way. Developers exploring Android XR and visionOS are figuring out what they can build in the space between fully immersive VR apps and traditional flatscreen content.

When it comes to Valve, we asked them about ideas like "spatial computing" and "mixed reality" being pursued elsewhere. Neither concept is really present in Valve's initial Steam Frame with black and white passthrough, though there's a lot of potential for sensing add-ons through the nose port.

Here's how Valve's Jeremy Selan replied about the focus of their first headset to carry the Steam name:

"As a strong Index user, someone who worked on it and has spent major portions of my adult life working on that and the Vive, when I think about playing VR, I have to make an intentional choice. So I'll be like, you know what? I want to go do VR. So I go to the room that has my PC and has my base stations installed. And I start playing that. But then sometimes, if I'm in another room and I'm like, well, maybe I should just take out my Deck and I start playing those games. And that choice I personally think is one of the highest friction bits remaining."

"Sure you can expect that when you put it on because it's SteamOS you hit the power button and you're fast into your game without the base station setup. Yeah, you can do [that] in any environment, but the ability to put on the headset and to see your Steam catalog in front of you where you can just choose a VR game or choose a non-VR game – it makes me play VR more. And it really reduces the impediment or the friction of even having to think about that distinction."

"We see the lines between VR and non-VR content really being blurred because they should just be games and you should be able to have devices that let you enjoy them. And this is our first stab at that."

We expect to have a review of Steam Frame in 2026 and will always bring you the latest. For more, you can dive into our nearly three-hour discussion from the day of the headset's announcement.

Corsair has announced a new partnership with CD Projekt RED to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077. The collaboration introduces the Corsair x Cyberpunk 2077: Arasaka Edition collection, a limited-edition series of peripherals inspired by the game's megacorporation, Arasaka.

The centrepiece of the lineup is a special-edition K65 Plus Wireless keyboard. This 75% mechanical board comes equipped with Corsair's pre-lubed MLX Red switches and features a custom aesthetic heavy on Arasaka branding. The chassis and keycaps are adorned with the corporation's logos and insignias, including detailing on the rotary dial. It is important to note that this specific model will be available exclusively in the NA layout.

Accompanying the keyboard is a themed version of the M75 Wireless lightweight gaming mouse, which sports the Arasaka three-limbed tree emblem on its shell. Completing the desktop setup is the MM300 2XL anti-fray cloth mouse pad. This extended surface features a technical schematic design of the game's iconic Mantis Blade cyberware, tying the collection together with lore references.

Prusa brings Noctua’s signature colours to 3D printing with colour-matched filaments

10 décembre 2025 à 16:42

Noctua and Prusa Research have introduced two new Prusament PLA filaments in Noctua’s signature colours – Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown. Combining Prusa’s renowned in-house manufacturing quality with Noctua’s iconic palette, the filaments are ideal for PC builds, mods, and DIY projects that integrate Noctua fans.

Like other Prusament PLA products, the new filaments are manufactured in-house in Prague, ensuring flawless quality, tight tolerances (±0.02mm), and maximum colour accuracy. They offer convenient handling, low warpage, high hardness, and a smooth finish, making them suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

Carefully fine-tuned to match Noctua’s iconic colours, the new variants eliminate the guesswork of colour-matching 3D prints with Noctua fans. Whether printing official models from Printables.com, custom PC parts, or accessories, these filaments are the perfect choice for a visually consistent build with Noctua's signature fans.

“We’ve always admired how the maker community utilises our fans and creates parts that enable new applications,” said Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO. “Teaming up with Prusa Research to offer filaments in our signature colours feels like a great way of giving back to the community.”

Josef Prusa, Founder and CEO of Prusa Research, added: “Building PCs has always been common here in the Czech Republic, and I remember using Noctua fans in my own builds. I’ve seen so many projects trying to match Noctua’s colour scheme without success. I’m really happy we got to team up with Noctua to bring these colour-matched filaments to the market.”

The Prusament PLA Noctua Beige and Brown filaments are available now via Prusa’s online store for EUR 32.99 / USD 32.99.

KitGuru Says: This is great news for the 3D printing enthusiasts out there, as you'll now be able to mod away without messing with the visual theme of your Noctua-cooled PC.

Sharkoon releases nautical-themed Skiller SGK50 S3 Ultimate

10 décembre 2025 à 16:30

Sharkoon has expanded its mechanical keyboard portfolio with the release of the Skiller SGK50 S3 Ultimate Rev2, a new compact board that embraces a nautical aesthetic. Moving away from standard chassis designs, this latest iteration features an ocean-themed design that extends across its abrasion-resistant, dye-sub PBT keycaps (OEM profile).

The keyboard uses a 75% layout, a form factor that continues to gain popularity for its ability to save desk space while retaining essential function keys. Under the keycaps, users will find pre-installed Sharkoon linear switches for responsive actuation. However, enthusiasts looking for a specific feel are not locked into the stock configuration, as the board features a hot-swappable PCB that allows easy switch replacement without soldering. Moreover, it features VIA support and RGB backlighting, giving users functional and aesthetic layers of customisation to play with.

After gathering user feedback, Sharkoon has implemented features to improve acoustic performance. The build features a polycarbonate positioning plate rather than a traditional metal one, paired with double-layer silicone dampening and pre-lubed stabilisers. These design choices are intended to reduce unwanted resonance and provide a softer and more refined typing sound. Another nice touch is the two-stage feet.

To complete the desktop aesthetic, Sharkoon has bundled a matching Skiller SGP30 D4 XXL mouse mat with the keyboard, ensuring a cohesive visual theme right out of the box. Additionally, it also includes a switch and a keycap puller. The Sharkoon Skiller SGK50 S3 Ultimate Rev2 is currently available for €99.90.

KitGuru says: Although a bit pricey for a wired keyboard, the inclusion of an XXL mouse pad adds some value to the package.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag ‘Resynced’ has been rated by PEGI

10 décembre 2025 à 16:00

Back in early 2024, a rumour first popped up claiming that Ubisoft had greenlit the development of an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake. Since then, we’ve heard various bits and bobs surrounding the project – including the extent to which they plan to alter the game’s overall formula alongside its expected release date. While Ubisoft themselves have yet to make any official announcements, a listing for ‘Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’ has popped up on game rating boards.

As discovered by ResetEra user ‘–R’ the Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) ratings board has published a listing to their site for a game titled ‘Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’.

Though the page is no longer accessible, its listing seems to suggest that an official announcement from Ubisoft is imminent.

Black Flag Resynced

As mentioned, talk surrounding a Black Flag remake has persisted for a couple years now, with recent claims suggesting that the project could arrive as soon as March of 2026.

Given the fact that this supposed remake has now been publicly listed, it seems only a matter of time before the title is officially announced – perhaps during the 2025 Game Awards? We will have to wait and see.

KitGuru says: Do you have high hopes for the Black Flag remake? What do you think of the name? What other AC titles would you want to see get the full remake treatment? Let us know down below.

As we near the end of the year, many different media services have started to release their annual wrap-up lists, letting you get a peek at your past 12 months of activities. As they have done for many years now, PlayStation’s annual Wrap-Up has now gone live, giving you a full recap of your 2025 in gaming.

Making the announcement via the PlayStation Blog, Sony officially confirmed that 2025’s PlayStation Wrap-up is now live, writing:

“From today through January 8, 2026, PS5 and PS4 players can access their PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up experience to view their gaming achievements for the year, including most played games and genres, total hours played across single-player and multiplayer titles, a personalized PlayStation Plus playlist, and trophy milestones.”

Wrap-Up 2025

As of writing, the site is giving an internal server error due to the sudden increase in user traffic. That said, alongside the above, PlayStation’s Wrap-up for 2025 also details some more niche stats including “insights around gameplay with accessories like PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal remote player, as well as your most used DualSense wireless controller design.”

Like with previous iterations, those who take part in this year's wrap-up will receive a couple bonus digital items, namely “a unique glass-themed avatar as well as access their summary card.”

End-of-year summaries are always fun to take a look at. Whether it be for music, shows, or in this case games, being able to reflect on your past 12 months of media consumption is interesting; for the sake of curiosity if nothing else.

PlayStation confirms Returnal follow-up Saros will be at The Game Awards

10 décembre 2025 à 14:00

Housemarque’s Returnal is still one of the PlayStation 5’s best first-party exclusives, with the 2021 title offering a compelling mix of 3rd-person shooting, arcadey movement and combat wrapped up in a rogue-like bow. Since its release, the game has garnered a ton of praise with Sony even going on to acquire Housemarque. Now officially under the PlayStation banner, Housemarque’s latest project – Saros – has been confirmed to be shown off at the 2025 Game Awards.

Making the announcement via Twitter, the official PlayStation page confirmed that Saros will be shown off at the upcoming Game Awards, writing: “Come back stronger. Get a new look at Saros @thegameawards this Thursday, Dec 11.”

Saros Housemarque

For the uninitiated, Saros was first unveiled earlier this year during February’s State of Play alongside a 2026 release year. Though a new IP, the follow-up to Returnal has clearly been influenced by it, with what little was shown off so far indicating that it will build on Returnal’s mechanics while offering a greater amount of meta-progression.

All that said, we have yet to see much from the game, with the initial announcement trailer primarily being vibes-focused. As such, it will be highly exciting to get a proper taste of exactly how Saros looks and plays in just a few days' time.

KitGuru says: Are you excited for Saros? What did you think of Returnal? Do you prefer Rogue-likes/lites with more or less meta-progression? Let us know your thoughts down below.

Coldplay Gets Beat Saber DLC & Free Meta Horizon Concert This Month

10 décembre 2025 à 16:00

Beat Saber gets a Coldplay Music Pack next week, and the band's hosting a free concert event on Meta Horizon later this month.

Revealed earlier today, Meta confirmed it's partnering with iHeartMedia to bring Coldplay's worldwide concert tour, Music of the Spheres, to Meta Horizon with a free immersive experience. Kicking off on December 30 at 11am PT, it's using stereoscopic 180-degree VR and that's based on the band's stint at Wembley Stadium.

While the full track list hasn't been revealed yet for Music of the Spheres: An Immersive Experience, Meta confirmed that featured songs include 'Yellow', 'Fix You', 'Viva La Vida', 'A Sky Full Of Stars', and 'feelslikeimfallinginlove'. Free Coldplay avatar merchandise has also been promised, and that's now available via the Avatar editor in VR or the concert pages on iOS and Android.

As for Beat Saber, today's blog post also revealed that the rhythm game's receiving a Coldplay Music Pack on December 18. This includes 12 new songs for $14.99 or $1.99 for individual tracks.

While this introduces a new environment “inspired by the band’s live shows,” it's unclear whether this shares the same track list from the upcoming immersive experience or uses different songs.

Finally, following its original appearance in 2022, Coldplay is also returning to fitness app Supernatural in the US and Canada with three new workouts. Starting on December 29, this includes two multi-intensity Boxing and Flow workouts, which Meta states will blend older singles like 'Fix You' and 'Viva La Vida' with more recent releases like 'feelslikeimfallinginlove' and 'WE PRAY'.

Capcom plans to turn DMC, Mega Man and Ace Attorney into “core IPs”

10 décembre 2025 à 13:00

For the past generation or so, Capcom has been in the upper echelon of video game developers / publishers, with many of their titles not only being critical hits, but commercial ones too. While Capcom has primarily focused on its major IPs in recent years, the publisher has expressed interest in bringing the likes of Mega Man and Devil May Cry back into the limelight.

As part of the company’s latest Integrated Report, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto revealed that the publisher has plans to revitalise many of its more ‘niche’ franchises, stating:

“We consistently release two to three major new titles each year, but recognize the need to grow our pipeline going forward. Capcom owns a wealth of globally popular brands, such as Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney. We aim to expand our user base and improve our performance through new releases, remakes, and ports of titles in these series to new hardware. By enhancing brand power and cultivating loyal fan bases, we will grow these into core IPs.”

Capcom Devil Mat Cry

While Capcom is of course home to many different popular IPs, there are a few which stand above the rest, with the likes of Resident Evil and Monster Hunter dwarfing all other franchises sales-wise.

Given the lineage of Capcom however and the potential within many of their lesser-supported franchises, it is encouraging to see them willing to give some of their more medium-tier IPs a chance to become something greater.

KitGuru says: What do you think of Capcom in 2025? Have they been focusing too much on Resident Evil and Monster Hunter? Which of the three franchises listed above would you want to see become a core IP the most? Let us know down below.

Intel ‘BMG-G31’ Battlemage GPU spotted in software update

9 décembre 2025 à 18:30

Intel has quietly dropped the most concrete evidence yet that its high-end “Battlemage” discrete graphics card is nearing a formal reveal. In a recent update to its VTune Profiler software, the company discreetly added support for the “BMG-G31” SKU, a designation long associated with the upcoming flagship Battlemage GPU.

Wccftech shared the updated notes that also mention the upcoming Panther Lake processors. This inclusion suggests that the hardware is finalised (or close to) and is likely undergoing validation. The BMG-G31 silicon is widely expected to power the Arc Battlemage B770, a successor to the current Arc A770. According to the most recent reports, this new flagship will feature approximately 32 Xe2 cores paired with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit interface. The architecture is also set to support a full PCIe 5.0 x16 connection.

Moreover, new shipping manifests shared by @x86deadandback (via VideoCardz) also corroborate the hardware's existence and provide details on its power requirements. These records indicate a thermal design power of 300 W for this GPU, a considerable increase over the 225 W range seen on the previous Alchemist generation. The increased power suggests Intel is pushing the silicon much harder to extract performance.

With the VTune entry co-listing the GPU alongside next-generation Panther Lake CPUs (powered by Xe3), Intel risks launching its Xe2 discrete cards just as its own mobile silicon moves to a newer architecture. However, with the company recently cracking the 1% discrete GPU market share barrier for the first time since Alchemist's debut, maintaining the momentum could be the key to expanding its share. Given the timing, a reveal at CES 2026 seems plausible.

KitGuru says: What kind of performance do you expect from a GPU with the reported specs of the “BMG-G31”?

Lenovo is reportedly preparing a Legion Pro laptop with a 21:9 rollable display

9 décembre 2025 à 18:00

Fresh leaks surfacing ahead of CES 2026 suggest that Lenovo is preparing to shake up the form factor of high-end gaming laptops once again. According to a recent report, the company is actively developing the Legion Pro Rollable, a machine that ditches the traditional fixed chassis in favour of a motorised, expanding OLED screen.

The promotional materials shared by Windows Latest show that the device functions as a standard 16:9 clamshell laptop in its default state. However, it can mechanically extend outward to a 21:9 ratio. Unlike the vertically expanding ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable that Lenovo shipped previously, this new gaming-focused laptop rolls out horizontally. Small motors drive rails that push the screen outwards to the left and right, transforming the panel, offering the field of view of an ultrawide monitor.

While full technical specifications remain under wraps, the leak points to the inclusion of Intel Core Ultra silicon, probably the upcoming Panther Lake architecture, given the early 2026 timeline. On the graphics side, the Legion branding all but guarantees a discrete Nvidia RTX GPU, almost certainly from the RTX 50-series. The display itself is tipped to be an OLED panel capable of at least 120Hz.

The existence of such a device is less far-fetched than it might appear. Lenovo has already proven it can mass-produce this technology with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, which successfully transitioned from a trade show concept to a retail product. Expanding that know-how to a horizontal, gaming-centric layout seems quite feasible for the brand.

KitGuru says: We expect the Legion Pro Rollable to command a significant price premium over other laptops. How much more would you be willing to spend for a rollable display?

The post Lenovo is reportedly preparing a Legion Pro laptop with a 21:9 rollable display first appeared on KitGuru.

Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU surfaces in benchmark leak

9 décembre 2025 à 17:30

Intel's mid-cycle refresh for its desktop Arrow Lake lineup seems to be right around the corner, with the first concrete performance numbers for the unannounced Core Ultra 7 270K Plus appearing on the Geekbench database. This new SKU seems to be a direct replacement for the existing Core Ultra 7 265K, bringing a notable bump in core count and frequency adjustments that aim to refine the platform ahead of the next major architectural shift.

The most significant change revealed by the leaked entry (via Benchleaks) is the processor's core configuration. While the current 265K uses a 20-core layout, the incoming 270K Plus has been upgraded to a 24-core design, comprised of 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores. Adding four extra E-cores aligns the chip more closely with the top-tier Core Ultra 9 in terms of thread count. Beyond the silicon changes, Intel seems to be improving some specifications, with reports suggesting an increase in official memory support from DDR5-6400 to DDR5-7200, alongside a 100 MHz bump to E-core base and turbo frequencies.

The entry shows the chip running on a Gigabyte Z890 Eagle WiFi7 motherboard, with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus achieving a single-core score of 3,235 and a multi-core score of 21,368. Despite being handicapped by relatively slow DDR5-4800 memory during the test, these numbers represent an uplift of roughly 5.6% in single-threaded tasks and 4.2% in multi-threaded workloads compared to the average scores of the Core Ultra 7 265K. According to the benchmark run, the CPU reached a clock speed of 5.5 GHz.

This refreshed lineup is expected to launch next year on the existing LGA 1851 socket, serving as a drop-in upgrade for current users. By sticking with the “Core Ultra 200” series branding, Intel is signalling that this is an iterative update rather than a new generation.

KitGuru says: Do you think the new Core Ultra 200 Plus series will help Intel regain some of the market share it has been losing in the desktop consumer segment?
